Our visit to Restaurant Luardi was an absolute highlight! We arrived on a Saturday around 2 pm without a reservation. Although the restaurant was completely full, we were seated immediately – a real stroke of luck and another testament to the team's excellent organizational skills. The food was incredibly delicious and served without any significant wait. You can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients and pay meticulous attention to detail. I'd especially like to commend the service: The team is incredibly attentive and warm, creating an atmosphere where you feel welcome from the very first moment. The staff are clearly passionate about the restaurant; you can feel it in everything they do. It was also a lovely touch when the owner himself came to our table to greet us. This personal touch is rare these days and made the visit all the more special. Another highlight: Every member of the service staff always had a witty remark ready. This not only created a great atmosphere but also made the entire experience pleasantly relaxed and enjoyable. All in all, I can highly recommend the Luardi restaurant. Everything is just right: the food, the service, the atmosphere – a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

The service and atmosphere are very good but the pizza is very empty inside, it's like you're eating dough, also the tiramisu is very bad and expensive for Berlin, there is a queue, make a reservation, I didn't like the service and atmosphere at all, I give it 3 points

If I could give less, it wouldn't even get one star. Despite having a reservation, we stood around waiting. If you ask for something, you're snapped at rudely. Table service was catastrophic; everything was just thrown down. We ordered two bruschetta appetizers, but only received one, split between two plates. Uninspired, served on soggy bread with hardly any seasoning. The pasta was okay, but the portion was very small. The pizza was inedible; the dough wasn't cooked through and it arrived lukewarm. Afterwards, I saw that many other tables were also sending back pizza. When we wanted to pay, the waiter insisted on cash, but my husband persisted, so we were able to pay by card. The restaurant is very loud and overcrowded. What a waste of time and money.

Just like Mom used to make! A super cozy Italian restaurant with really good food. The host is incredibly warm and greets you like you're a regular. The food is authentic – fresh ingredients, great vegetables, and fantastic pasta. The terrace is full of fruit and vegetables, creating a really lovely atmosphere. You just feel at home – a little piece of Italy right in the heart of Berlin!

Warning: High fees for reservation changes! Yesterday, our team of 13 people was there, having originally reserved for 15. Two people canceled at the last minute, which can happen with a group of that size. The food arrived promptly, and my Diavolo pizza tasted fine, but was rather sparsely topped. The final bill was a surprise: we were charged €55 per no-show. An email we received after our reservation was confirmed stated a fee of €45 per no-show, which my boss apparently missed. Changes should be announced 24 hours in advance. We hadn't pre-ordered any dishes, so this seemed like a very high amount to me – especially since my pizza and drink cost around €20. When I inquired about it, the staff, in my opinion, were rather unfriendly, but then reduced the charge to €45 per person, totaling €90. Unfortunately, this significantly dampened our evening.

My mom and I were visiting from the states and we dropped in here. It was the best food we had our entire trip. We ended up eating there twice. My mom has been to Italy and said this food was better than any of the Italian food she has eaten. The lasagna is the best! Highly recommend!

The restaurant is perfect! I love it! Both the service and food are over my expectation. Especially the Linguini di Mare! I love it! And their Tiramisu is the best one I’ve ever had!

We loved this place. We've been going there for years, but the last time was a real shock. The staff and owner forced us to buy bottled water, which we didn't need at all. It was like a scene from a movie: they asked us several times about drinks, and then randomly brought us water several times. When we refused to buy it the last time, they gave us an ultimatum: buy water, or you won't eat. We've decided not to go to this restaurant again, and I advise you not to either!

Wow,,, Incredibly good Cucina della MAMMA We made a reservation for the marathon. We had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. Cozy Italian restaurant with friendly service. Great homemade pasta and pizza. Highly recommend the Lasagna della Mamma and the Tiramisu. We'll definitely be back.

We went to this restaurant with a group of 13 people. Spending alltogether more than 600€. The food was good. The service was okayish making some jokes like: "you need some pepper in your pants" by putting the over dimensioned peppermill at the genitals of a colleague. Or constantly calling the females "Bella, ..." in a devaluing way.in the end they charged us 90€ for two people that were booked but unable to come, arguing that it happens often that people book tables and some people do not come which makes them a loss. I cannot recommend this place. Just another Berlin mitte hipster place who think they can do whatever.

The food was gone before we could even take a picture. We had special dietary requests due to dental surgery, which were lovingly accommodated. Such fantastic service from start to finish – you rarely experience that in good old Germany :-) We had classic spaghetti Bolognese, pizza salami, spaghetti Napoli, and tagliatelle pollo. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had a panna cotta, which I had actually ordered just for myself. It was brought to us with four spoons so we could share. I thought that was a wonderful idea and a thoughtful gesture. We'll definitely be back! Grazie 🙏

I recently went to the restaurant for lunch and ordered the set menu, which was supposed to cost €16.90. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. The menu included everything except the pasta with scampi. I ordered pasta without scampi but still had to pay an extra €3. An additional €2.50 was charged for some garlic oil. Even the cappuccino, which was listed as included in the menu, was charged separately at the end, simply because someone in my party had taken a sip. The owner reacted very rudely and unnecessarily irritated, which significantly dampened the atmosphere. The way he treated his staff also seemed tense and disrespectful. Overall, the whole experience was unpleasant and disappointing, especially since the set menu makes little sense under these circumstances. It's a shame, because the restaurant has potential – but due to the owner's behavior and the way guests are treated, I won't be returning. Furthermore, I found it disturbing that the boss was constantly addressing passers-by outside, which was rather unpleasant for the guests on the terrace.

I have made a reservation still we waited about twenty minutes at least. You need to make yourself known to the head waiter otherwise you can wait all night long. The food especially pizza was great and good portions. Typical Italian loud crowded and delicious. I would recommend it make sure you reserve a table.

Surprisingly, the slow-cooked salmon was delicious—not dry at all, but very tender and smooth. The mushrooms, potatoes, and vegetables were very fresh. However, I didn't really like the famous spaghetti bolognese; it was a bit dry. It's best to make a reservation, as it gets very crowded in the evenings.

Unfortunately, I rarely eat Italian food, but when I do, it's here! Incredibly friendly staff! Super delicious food! There's always a variety of bread for starters, and there's a large selection of vegetarian dishes! You simply feel like part of "la familia" when you eat here! 🥰

The food and dessert were incredibly excellent. The service was so friendly, something I've rarely experienced before. We received a warm welcome at the door and were repeatedly asked if we needed anything else. If we'd wanted to, we could have also received good advice on our wine and food choices. Our dessert, for example, was unplanned, but we ended up ordering it anyway because the various desserts were presented/shown to us (but we didn't feel pressured to buy anything). It was fantastic, and I would come back again and again!

The two of us ate there today, and it was simply fantastic! The service and the overall atmosphere were simply pleasant and fun, especially the large pepper mill! You just felt so comfortable, especially when you're greeted at reception as if you were part of the family. Joyful and relaxed moments that evoke a wonderful sense of family. I can see why this place is fully booked on a saturday! We turned up on a saturday evening and the restaurant was fully booked, no sittings were accepted without a booking. So of course, we booked and came on a Sunday evening. Still had a short wait with a booking but it was worth it. From the drinks to the starters, everthing was divine. Absolutley loved my truffle pasta. The salad olives and breads were tasty too. We left stuffed. I had a look at everybodys food on tables around us and each meal looked and smelled amazing. The staff were great too, warm and welcoming. Also gave us complimentary shots at the end of the meal, lovely surprise. My only concern is cleanliness, whilst the restaurant looks clean, there are flies as soon as you go downstairs to the bathroom. this is concerning and i woukd hope this to be rectified before i return because the food is that good!.

Everything just fits perfectly! You immediately feel like you're in good hands. You receive a very warm welcome and greeting from all the staff (even on your first visit). The food is typically Italian and truly excellent. Last Friday, we were served primarily by a young woman who looked after us with exceptional friendliness, but the chef himself was also sitting in the middle of the restaurant. We'll be back ;-)

Perfect, excellent service, beautiful, clean, cozy atmosphere, delicious food. We ordered the Carbonara (one of the best of my life) and the lasagna, and it was surreally good. I highly recommend it; the service was also excellent, and they're pet-friendly.

We had a wonderful dinner. The food, the atmosphere, the variety of choices and most importantly the service we received from the staff this evening. Agrom and the rest of the staff were amazing! I recommend it without second thoughts. Must say with that - there are dishes that can be improved and the staff helped us with that, but I’ve learned that giving the critic is also welcomed there - for example the Caesar salad should be improved and they can definitely do that. Besides all that we enjoyed it very much and that is the most important thing.
