Food tastes not particularly good, service is nice but not courteous, all in all unfortunately rather tasteless

After four years, I returned to the LSC today after a break due to a recent, very unpleasant experience with a waitress. Unfortunately, the service was once again disappointing and abysmal. Empty glasses remained at the table for over 10 minutes. Would you like another drink? A phrase no one heard today. During the meal, both salt and pepper, as well as spicy oil, were simply removed from the table. Why? That's the big question that no one can answer. In general, the service staff—except for the manager himself—were disinterested and seemed rather happy to be served quickly and then leave again. The restaurant was never at full capacity, which is why such a level of service is unjustifiable. This was our and my last visit until further notice. What a shame!

Be sure to make a reservation...service is good even when the restaurant is busy.

We stopped here for lunch today after visiting the Dornier Museum. The pizza and risotto were delicious, the portions were really generous, and they even offered a small salad with pizza rolls as a starter. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff was attentive and friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

As flight crew, we often rely on airport restaurants during short layovers. Unfortunately, this was one of the most unwelcoming experiences I’ve had. We were told the restaurant was “full” and not accepting any more guests, yet it was very clear that less than a third of the tables were actually occupied. It was disappointing not only because of the lack of transparency but also because we were turned away while on duty, when efficiency and proper service matter most. At an airport, where staff should be accustomed to accommodating travelers and crew, such treatment is simply unacceptable. If the restaurant had a genuine reason for refusing service, it could have been communicated politely and honestly. Instead, it felt dismissive and unprofessional. Definitely not the level of service one expects at an international airport.

Very disappointing service: I had to wait 45 minutes for a table outside – even though there were seats available. As a single guest, I was ignored, presumably because they wanted to keep the tables free for larger groups. I ordered a bottle of water, but only a glass was brought. When the bottle finally arrived, I had to open it myself – no sense of service was apparent. My dish, spaghetti with seafood, came without salt, pepper, oil, or bread. The plate was too salty; I could barely eat a third. The waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay. I didn't want to tip, but I left €1 out of politeness because he took a photo. The restaurant seems like it was made for tourists – maybe I was just having a bad day. 1 star – actually too much.

I like coming here for dinner or to pick up a pizza. The staff is super friendly, and I highly recommend the food.

A truly bad experience. They took a cigarette break and then gave away my table. My plate disappeared, and I found my belongings scattered across other tables. Rude and incompetent. The food was acceptable. (Honestly, I would have used other words, but Google censored me.)

If you're looking for exceptionally good food and value both atmosphere and service, this is the place for you. A place you'll gladly recommend—and definitely want to visit again!

Very delicious food. In my previous experience, the service has always been excellent, although it was a bit lackadaisical on my last visit.

The best pizzas in the Lake Constance area. Authentic Italian. The pizza is served crispy and hot. The terrace seating allows you to watch the air traffic. Since we've only been there on weekends, we haven't seen any passenger planes, just small private jets. We drive from Hohenems to Friedrichshafen just to eat pizza.

We've eaten here shortly before take-off over the past few years. But now, with the arrogant junior in charge, you're not even allowed to eat outside, even if it's windy, if you want. They say it's my restaurant, my decision, and you eat inside. Sorry, what's that all about? They make really good pizza here, and we didn't want to bother anyone shortly before our flight, we just wanted to eat something and leave. Yes, we did get the BEER, but that was it, and there was no ashtray either, which would have been the consequences. Pathetic, because something like this would never have existed under the old management.

The pizzas are delicious and large. The ambiance fits the airport location.

I come here five times a year, but now the pizza is amazing. The dough is as hard as a board and usually black on the bottom. I suspect oven problems. I won't order pizza again. The pasta dishes are excellent, hence only 2 stars.

Went there to eat because it was right next to the hotel. The pizza was amazing, so delicious, great, delicious dough and toppings. Bruscetta with salmon was also very tasty. Staff friendly and attentive. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The pizza was black on the bottom and still very pale at the top. The dough wasn't particularly good and there could have been a little more tomato sauce and cheese on it. The service didn't seem very cordial and no one asked for more drinks. During espresso, coffee ran down the outside of the cup and the cup itself was cracked!

Mega delicious pizza calzone with special request. There is plenty of pizza bread to go with the salad. Very tasty. Top service and prices absolutely fair. Tip: in the winter garden you have a view of the apron/runway of Friedrichshafen Airport.

I had dine in for 3 days here and the service really goes down with the times you have food. I was here for AERO conference and on the last day the waiters just said you can’t come in because there is a private party. Moreover, they just shooed me off even if there were many tables empty. They also didn’t allow me take away - and the waiter showed me out - like literally he took me by the hand and showed me the door.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated greatly. The service was very unfair and therefore bad in my opinion. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. There was a group sitting at a table. They only got their food after almost 2 hours, although all the other tables that came much later got their food earlier. Such ignorance towards his guests cannot be tolerated. I won't eat there anymore.

Special pizzeria with a special ambience directly on the attached to the sports airport with a view of the runway. Very friendly staff and good, solid Italian food. Don't forget scissors to cut pizza 😉😊. Prices are now rather expensive everywhere.

Got the worst cappu in a long time. Despite the portafilter machine, the coffee came to the table almost before we were seated. You couldn't hear any grinding or frothing of the milk. The waiter preferred to sit at the counter instead of cleaning up.

Very disappointing now... At the end of last year we got pizza there. I ordered an addition to one pizza, another pizza was different than ordered. Plus they weren't entirely fresh. This time we thought we would give them another chance. Unfortunately, exactly the same disappointment. I spoke extra loudly and clearly on the phone. Once again an extra request was missing, and when we ordered a pizza with ham and salami, a pizza with ham, salami, mushrooms and egg arrived. In addition, they really saved a lot on the cheese - half the pizza was more pizza bread than pizza. We got to the pizzeria ten minutes earlier than agreed, and yet the pizzas were already there and were no longer hot. Unfortunately, this meant that the rocket was very mushy. Really not a good pizza for the price. So price management is definitely not correct. I won't be getting pizza here anymore. Unfortunately the tip I gave wasn't worth it.

The cheese was sparse, so large parts of the pizza resembled dry pizza bread and I'm not just saying that - unfortunately it really was! In addition, the pizzas were already ready when we arrived ten minutes earlier than agreed - correspondingly lukewarm and no longer really fresh. Unfortunately, the rocket was already quite wilted. We would have expected much more for the price. In terms of taste, the pizza was average at best, and the price-performance ratio is simply not right. We won't be ordering here anymore for now.

Nice location with a view of the flight operations including the Zeppelin!

Food was brilliantly good as always. If an obviously free table that you would like is not given because there are 3 people coming, that's ok because there were only two of us. But when a few minutes later a couple (2 people!) comes into the restaurant and, according to an audible conversation with the waiter, have not made a reservation and then sit down at exactly that table, then you feel betrayed.... Note: We had reserved in advance and were not entirely happy with the table assigned to us! It's a real shame. It made me nervous all evening to be ignored like that.

Ordered food and it was ready after 15 minutes. Picked up and ate very, very tasty. I can absolutely recommend it. Haven't been disappointed with any dish so far.

I've been there a few times and it's always been said that the taste can vary greatly depending on who was in the kitchen this time. Now this time too, all of my friends at the table had a rather bad experience and everyone ordered something different. You could almost say that a frozen mass-produced pizza tastes a lot better and the salad dressing would be more suitable as a remoulade for a fish dish. So we've never had a worse meal there. When it comes to service and you are always asked if it was tasty, this time you had to clearly say no. It's a shame, we've always had a good experience there.

I'm thrilled. Ambience, staff fantastic, food excellent, whether pizza, pasta, salad, schnitzel, starter or dessert... it always tastes very good and is enough to fill you up. A real highlight! From start to finish our visit was a pleasure. The atmosphere is tasteful and cozy, and the staff looked after us in a very friendly and attentive manner. The food was excellent – ​​every course was an experience! I can particularly recommend “Pappardelle con pollo” which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The combination of excellent cuisine and great service makes this restaurant one of my new favorites. We'll definitely be back!

We've been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years now, but I'm sad to say that it's gone downhill in recent years. The pizza is really big and the prices are good, the restaurant is particularly cheap for the lunch menu. The quality of the food has deteriorated, the pasta with cream sauce used to be a highlight, today there is only a little sauce and nowhere near the same taste. The olive oil also seems to be of a different quality and the pizza also seems to have a rather bland taste. Vitello Tonato no longer exists, which is a shame. The service was very brief, previously there was always some small talk, but today you get the impression that the guest should leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and admire the airplanes if you like. Some of the seats in the restaurant are equipped with discarded airplane seats, and you also have a view of the adjacent airport hall. All in all ok, but no longer a must on our visits to Friedrichshafen.

Pizza is a matter of taste, but unfortunately our pizzas today were very dry, so we probably saved on the toppings. It's a shame, the kids were happy and then didn't eat them.

We were immediately seated. Our order was brought to us quite quickly as well. We got a very cool seating place too lmao, very unique, we really liked it. As I mentioned, the food was served quite quickly, the waiter was very kind and attentive. The portions were definitely pleasing (looooots of pasta, yay!) and fairly priced Definitely recommend to go check it out👍🏼

The rudest waiter we have ever experienced. Asked to order our food while sitting outside...Waiter said no order until we moved inside....we asked if we could order and then move inside once the food was ready....he walked away without answering. We left the restaurant and went into town and ate outside at an amazing Italian Restaurant on the waterfront,which had fantastic food and staff that were pleasant. Don't waste your money at this horrible joke of a restaurant.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. Pizza Caprese was served with 3 watery beefsteak tomatoes. Actually you use vine tomatoes or cherry tomatoes. As a result, the dough was completely soggy in the middle, watery and inedible. The pizza crust was super hard and not tasty! Pizza Prosciutto e funghi very dry, no tomato sauce just Morzarella cheese. My husband made tomato sauce afterwards. Have eaten a lot of pizzas and this was by far the worst version. Salads were prepared differently, the cucumbers were missing from one, even though we ordered 3 of the same salads (twice without creepy, ready-made yogurt sauce, disgusting cheap taste) Service tried hard overall, but not well trained. You only clear the plates when everyone has finished eating. So 3 plates were put away while my mother-in-law and son were still eating. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant!

It was a very nice afternoon at the LSC

We ordered to pick up there. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the “Insalata Rind”. It was the size of a McDonald’s salad and still cost over 15 euros! A real impudence!

We had dinner there today after Turning World. The lady who served us was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long either. The food was served quickly. If we ever find ourselves at Lake Constance again, we've found our favorite Italian restaurant. Very very tasty and filling.

Very nice restaurant. Cool atmosphere! An Italian restaurant with its own asparagus menu and varied menu offerings. The staff is friendly and attentive and the prices are affordable. Gladly again.

The quality of the food here is really subpar - one of the worst I've been served in a restaurant in a long time. The salad is drenched in yogurt sauce from the bottle, the noodles and shrimp are partly cold, the “medium rare” steak is completely dried out and fried. A new chef and management are urgently needed here.

The side salad is drowning in dressing, the pizzas are without any imagination, and everything tastes completely unspectacular. Price and performance don't match here. Ambience and service were nice.

Good food in a special atmosphere,

We went there again after about 5 years for a birthday dinner. We were all disappointed, especially since we had fond memories of this pizzeria. The pasta dishes no longer had the same quality of taste as before. The portion size was good. The toppings on the pizzas and the salad also deserved more love. Conclusion: Next time somewhere else, unfortunately!

Einmaliges Ambiente was dich kulinarisch abheben lässt in eine Reise durch Italien, vor deinem Abflug in die Welt!

Zunächst: das Ambiente ist stilvoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick auf den Hangar und die Lande/Startbahnen kurzweilig. Draußen ist es immer etwas zugig und laut (logischerweise). Es gibt zwei originelle Sitzplatzgruppen, die mit dem ausgemusterten Zeppelininterieur ein Blickfang sind. Wenn man mit Wickelkind kommt, sucht man vergeblich nach einem Wickelplatz. Dem Service ist dies herzlich egal- hier bekommt man keine weitere Hilfe. Das Essen ist grundsätzlich gut, auch wenn es im Vergleich zu früher nachgelassen hat. Das Angusrindsteak wurde gefühlt vor der Pfanne sicherheitshalber nochmal erlegt, da es ein Dutzend tiefe Schnitte auf der Oberfläche trug. Es verlor dadurch erheblich an Fleischsaft. Speisen vom Angebot (Bavette mit Muscheln) waren leider nicht verfügbar. Das alternative Angebot der Servicekraft war mit Alkohol (Spaghetti Meeresfrüchte mit Weißwein abgelöscht). Auf die Nachfrage, ob dies auch ohne Weißwein ginge, kam ein knappes „No“ und die Speisekarte wurde einem hingeknallt. Da blieb es bei mir bei der Vorspeise. In der einfachen Nachspeise des Kindes (3 Kugeln Eis) fanden sich im Vanilleeis Plastikstücke- sprich ungenießbar. Als wir dies beim Kellner erwähnten, gab es eine knappe Entschuldigung- er gebe es weiter. Gezahlt haben wir dennoch den vollen Preis! Hier hätte ich mir deutlich mehr Zuvorgekommen erwartet.
