We had dinner with friends at Louisiana Aachen and were looking forward to a relaxing evening. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed, especially with the food. As a starter we ordered the mixed plate with wings, chicken breast and other snacks. Unfortunately, the food was completely “fried to death” and therefore neither particularly tasty nor appetizing. For a price of €17.90 we definitely expected more - the quality of the food just doesn't do the price justice. The ingredients seemed to come from the frozen section and lacked freshness and quality. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was cozy and inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly, which we really appreciated. But ultimately the service alone cannot save the overall impression. For the prices charged here, we would have simply wished for better quality food. It's a shame - we had hoped for more!

Now a long-established restaurant in Aachen, over 20 years old. And the last time I was there was over 15 years ago. Luckily the quality hasn't changed at all. Delicious!!! The service used to be very good, if not better.

Unfortunately I didn't find the food all that exciting. That used to be much better, but has decreased significantly. However, the service people in the evenings are very nice and very quick.

We are a group of five people who regularly attend Grenzlandtheater. Ift we went to this restaurant afterwards and ate and drank. Unfortunately I can only give 1 star because some of the service staff don't pay enough attention to people with intolerances. Unfortunately, my wife has an irritable stomach and some of the staff refuse her a glass of tap water. You're probably worried about sales... .... after the performance, five of us go to another restaurant where none of the people have any problems with a glass of tap water.

Have a good time and enjoy a delicious meal. Service very friendly and fast. For a good and quick bite at the right company.

My go to happy hour Virgin cocktails restaurant. Their sweet potato Fries with different sauces is to die for 😉 Ofcourse Burgers and other dishes are as good.

Ok, so the staff are great, and the place has great ambience. Now, I am a very proud Cajun from Louisiana, and was very excited when I saw this restaurant. I was hoping for some good Louisiana food. However, NONE OF THE FOOD IS CAJUN OR LOUISIANA FOOD. This was insulting to me and my culture. Why? Just Why? A simple Google image search for Cajun food and Louisiana food would show that we Cajuns and Louisianan people DO NOT EAT BURGERS AND FRIES. That is American. NOT CAJUN/CREOLE. PLEASE STOP USING OUR CULTURE FOR ADVERTISING YOUR GROSS FOOD! Louisiana food (Cajun and Creole) is LOTS OF RICE, SEAFOOD, FISH, and ALWAYS SPICY!

Very good food, very friendly waiters. Even though it was very busy at 6:30 p.m. on a weekday, the food came quickly.

I have been coming to Lousiana in Aachen for more than 17 years now. It has some of the best food in Aachen (I tried the entire menu (the new and old ones)). Recently, however (almost 2-3 months), the restaurant no longer gets its drinks from Coca Cola Company but from Pepsi, so of course they are different drinks, the problem has been over since exactly that point in time, we noticed several times that the drinks had expired are, especially the juices and iced teas. To be exact: - We ordered cherry banana (Kiba) 3 times in the same week and each time it came out expired (because it was very, very sour and recognized by the smell). When we declared it, they promptly removed it and brought something else in its place, but we overheard the barman at the counter (skinny blonde guy) saying "that's completely normal, they have no idea". Another time the waiter even came back after we mentioned it and said "yes, our banana juice has actually expired". - We ordered iced tea 3 times in 2 weeks and it always arrived tasteless. The third time we spoke to the waiters and they said, "We have a new machine, why doesn't it taste good?", then we said, no, it tastes like water, worse than McDonald's drinks when their syrup is empty. Since these incidents we have been somewhat disappointed with this store as they have always had high standards. I hope this criticism is taken to heart and perhaps the drinks department will be looked at again.

It feels like it's been around in Aachen for ages Always good, still good BBQed chicken, garlic bread, and all burgers you can eat. I think it's good. Drinks are always refilled nicely. 1 point deducted because you can't order onion rings in addition to the fries.

Reserved a table by phone. Friendly service on the phone and on site. The dishes are of good quality and tasted very good. The dessert tasted great too. Thank you. Always happy and warmly recommended.

We usually always enjoy being in Louisiana and also come from further afield. I've been visiting Louisiana for over 20 years but yesterday we were very dissatisfied. The waiter wasn't attentive at all. When we wanted to pay after our meal, it took 25 minutes. After repeated requests, the payment was made. That was the first time I wasn't satisfied with the service. We personally didn't think this was so nice. I also missed the friendliness yesterday. Too bad.

It's cheeky to sell water for €6 when it's not even on the menu. My companion had a homemade lemonade with all sorts of stuff in it for €5, my glass of water was €6. Not on the menu! How can that be? Outrageous!

The food was good overall, it would certainly have been even better if the starters hadn't come at the same time as the main course. When asked about this, the waitress was surprised, what a shame! The Cuba Libre was an interesting mix. For me it was the last visit.

The food is always delivered very quickly and the staff is always very nice. The food wasn't that great today, avocados were mushy, potato slices were pretty greasy and warmed up, pasta wasn't great either. But that's complaining at a high level, only otherwise it was better.

Friendly staff. You don't have to wait long for service and the food is very good and tasty. The atmosphere is really American and beautifully decorated for Christmas. It's definitely worth it, for young and old.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Louisiana in Aachen was extremely disappointing, especially because of the unfriendly staff. We were traveling with two strollers and wanted to move because of an unpleasant draft. Instead of supporting us, the waiter approached us in a rude manner as to why we wanted to change now. The restaurant was almost empty at this point. More friendly communication would definitely have been appropriate here. Unfortunately, this wasn't the only negative incident. Another waiter also behaved very unfriendly. When our 10-year-old child brought bubble tea with him, we were loudly told that this drink had to be removed. Here too, the note could have been worded much more politely and appropriately. Overall, the tone in Louisiana left a very bad impression, so we are sure: We will not visit this restaurant again.

The place has a very american feel to it and the food was tasty. I ordered a breast fillet and onion rings and they tasted pretty decent. The bbq sauce was smoky but overall they could add more options such as ranch

Super nice service!!!!!!. Nice ambience. The food was delicious, large enough portions and the sauerbraten is highly recommended!!!!! Unfortunately, fate struck and a gust of wind caught the menus lying on the table. These knocked over my wife's drink and the entire meal was soaked in cola. Although this is force majeure, my wife received a new meal as a gesture of goodwill👍👍. Thank you, we will definitely come back!

Wednesday evening, not really much going on, we sit on the outside terrace! We were there at 7:45 p.m., the women wanted to drink cocktails, happy hour goes until 8:00 p.m.!!!! Unfortunately, the waiter actually ignored us until 8:01 p.m. and then came to the table to tell us without asking that happy hour was unfortunately no longer valid!!! My suggestion that we had already been sitting here for 15 minutes was answered by saying that there was no way to take people into account who always come at the last minute and then want happy hour!!! So 15 minutes before is too late!!! Ok, got it!!! My wife and I were regular customers to this day, eating there several times a month on Saturdays, but that's all over with today!!! We have never been treated so shamelessly in a restaurant, even on our numerous trips abroad, we have never been treated like this!! That's how quickly you lose regular customers with the corresponding sales!! Bye Louisana Aachen.

As always, the food was very tasty 😋. The waiter was very friendly until we paid. We paid by bank card and paid a little more than tips. Apparently it wasn't enough, we didn't get a "thank you"?? We've noticed several times now that the waiters can never say "thank you" when they get a tip. We don't see that we have to tip €10 to receive a thank you. We are not obliged to tip. Otherwise everything is very good. Food and also ambience. Best regards

Truly amazing. Must try when you are in Aachen. Very very tasty food.

The food was really good. We had a BBQ burger and a pulled pork wrap. The service didn't notice the entire time that the table was very dirty, even after we pointed it out to them. The beer mats were then simply placed on the stains when served before the main course.

We were there around 6 p.m. on a Saturday. The store was full, but there were enough staff. The meal itself took a while, although I see that as a positive. Preparation takes longer than microwave. 😉

In my opinion, the best cocktails and very, very good food are served here. The service is always friendly and seems very familiar from the outside. I also personally hope that the homemade salsa sauce, locally, will never change. This one is just awesome ☺️😋.

We’re from the England 🇬🇧 and staying in Aachen for the Belgian F1 Grand Prix. We found this restaurant whilst exploring and decided to try. Radhwen was lovely and and attentive. They are lucky to have him there. The food was also delicious. We will definitely be back before we go back home!

In my opinion, low-quality “meat” is being served in the burger here: The “meat” of our burger had a very soft, almost sausage-like consistency. The taste was correspondingly so that we had to leave the restaurant feeling disgusted after two bites. Our complaint about the burger patties was not a surprise to those responsible. The hefty price of around 15 euros for the cheeseburger was disproportionate to the quality. So, in my opinion, the question here is not whether it was tasty or not - it wasn't for us anyway - but rather it's about whether such a product can be sold to customers.

The daily menus are a good addition to the standard menu with a very good price-performance ratio. The sauerbraten was surprisingly tasty and for €8.80/large! Hard to beat for the price. Plus attentive and friendly service. When the weather was good today we went outside under the plane trees - we really enjoyed it. We will be back.

Service has declined, the newer service staff can't even smile. Juicy prices and a smaller menu. I'm really disappointed because I've always found the service and staff at Louisiana to be great and have been there often. Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable the last few times and will look for another restaurant/bar in the future
