The osteria concept was perfectly implemented. No surprise there. But it couldn't be better. Respect.

June 20, 2025 Opening hours advertised until 10 p.m. At 9:42 p.m., orders are no longer accepted. Is that too late? I could still order drinks, but not food. Doesn't Losteria need that anymore? Truly disappointing. What's going on here? Please reply, otherwise this will unfortunately be my last visit!

Ordered my Margaritha and a salami pizza today. Everything arrived quickly, but the pizzas were so dry that I wished they had a dip. Is that even possible? There wasn't a drizzle of oil on them, and I paid €30 for all that fuss. It's annoying. I have the feeling they're skimping on the toppings and even the tomato sauce. I think, given the standard, this place could really close soon. Bye 👋

The Insalata Caprese with plenty of tomatoes was delicious. The owner is very friendly and quick to help. We were served very friendly and were served a delicious meal and drinks. Amazing! We also had a calzone (boe) to take away. It tasted just as moist at home!

We've ordered from here frequently and have usually been very satisfied. However, with the last few deliveries, something has been missing or delivered incorrectly (wrong salad, wrong pizza, forgotten drink, spaghetti not as ordered, sometimes missing bread). When that happens, it's not a problem for us, but in the last few months, it's happened too often.

Our personal experience: When we arrived and ordered, only a few tables were occupied. There were no soft drinks, no beer except Italian bottled beer. Two food and drink orders were forgotten. The young waitress behind the counter was abrasive. We asked for the bill twice. Then we were asked to pay an amount without showing the receipt. It was only brought to us after we asked again. The empty plates had been sitting on our table, uncleared, for an hour.

We went there spontaneously in the late afternoon. We were served quickly and the food was okay. This time we each had a pasta dish. The Mezzalune Spinaci weren't really al dente and the seasoning was a bit too light. I would have also preferred it if you could have put your own hard cheese on it instead of the kitchen just adding a little bit on top. The other pasta, "Gnocchi Gamberetti," was okay in itself, but the prawns weren't the best quality and very well cooked. They also contained nuts that weren't listed on the menu. The bruschetta was great; the only negative thing was that one of our glasses hadn't been washed properly and was still dirty on the bottom, which we only noticed after we'd finished the Coke.

I'd love to eat there every day. The service team is always attentive and very friendly.

Ein schöner Laden - ein tolles Konzept nützt am Ende aber nicht, wenn die Umsetzung in Chaos endet. Service und Küche vollkommen überfordert! Unstrukturiert und nicht in der Lage den Gästen in Lokal und den Bestellungen für Lieferung nachzukommen! Es fehlt an vielem und vor allem an einer Guten Geschäftsführung, die die Situation erkennt und schnellstmöglich dagegen „arbeitet“. Sonst wird es bald keine Kunden mehr , als einmal, hin ziehen!

The restaurant is very uncomfortable - the environment is too loud to have a quiet conversation, and unfortunately the food was way too spicy. But the service was very nice ☺️👍

Not recommended! Reasons: 1. We were not met at the door and shown to a table 2nd table was dirty from the previous person(s) and it took quite a while until the two tables were cleaned 3. Ordered food with starters. After the main menu was served, they wanted to serve us the starters. I let them go back because once the main course was served there was no longer any need for the starters

Cool & stylish...modern and fine restaurant. Yung and very pleasant staff.... Good English-speaking.. :) All I need is there :) Free parking and groceries at the spot.

Pizza is very big but the place is awesome. E.g.: a piece of pizza fell on the floor, the men of honor made a whole new pizza for me

Service very friendly, very attentive, accommodating. Pizzas were ok. Quality rather disappointing. Partly tarte flambée style. Unfortunately, the pizza dough wasn't completely cooked through. Taste and toppings manageable. A bit overpriced.

Whenever we are there, we stop there and are always amazed by their pizzas. Service is always friendly and tries to make it as pleasant as possible. Children are always welcome and can paint something there to pass the time. Would highly recommend a visit with the family. :)

We ate there for our wedding anniversary and were served very nicely. The food (we had pizza, but in the shape of a heart ❤️) was very tasty and we were also invited for a drink. Even though it is only a small L'Osteria, the ambience and service was excellent. Definitely recommended - we will definitely come back!

Yesterday we were a large group with children. The service was super attentive with everything. The children were even allowed to bake pizza. The guys behind the counter put a lot of effort into baking pizza with the children. The service staff regularly asked if everything was OK, something like that is not always usual with large groups at the table. We had everything from anti pasti to pizza to pasta and dessert. And everything tasted super delicious. Thank you for this lovely evening :)

The best L’Osteria restaurant so far! We were a large group and yet the food was served on time. The portions were just right - not too small like elsewhere - really warm and, above all, incredibly tasty. I usually eat the same noodles, but they tasted particularly good here. The store may be small, but the atmosphere is cozy and it's great to have a conversation. The team is super friendly, attentive, fast and, above all, very child-friendly. Thank you for this great experience! It's definitely worth taking a detour to get right here.

Service was great and the pizza is huge and really good. Special of the night is they let the kids make their pizza in the kitchen!

Super nice service. A group of 12 people were very organized. Food came out perfectly and tasty for everyone at the same time. To top it off, our children were allowed to bake their own pizza. Simply super sweet. Thanks again to everyone for this lovely, relaxing evening with great service.

Good food, as you would expect from this chain BUT...... we had a really good time. NOT RECOMMENDED IN winter or autumn. There doesn't seem to be any heating...or they don't turn it on. Not an isolated case. Unfortunately this has happened very often. Let's see... we'll only go there in the summer.

Addendum 11/4/24 I don't accept your standardized answer, which is now used in most l'osteria restaurants. You have already used your answer word for word to the customer Heike Lindlohr 9 months ago. In the pictures it looks more lavish and that's how it was served to us in the restaurant in August. This can also be expected for pick-up goods given the price structure. I'm not alone in criticizing the amount of topping here, as you can read in various reviews here. Original review: So that was it for us with L'Osteria. The first time in August 24 was really an experience and the price/performance ratio was fair. We also ate in the restaurant. But the pizzas are absolutely insufficiently topped when you pick them up and are simply too expensive. We had already experienced that at the beginning of September, but the restaurant was well occupied and that can happen in times of stress. This evening (November 2nd) we bought a pizza, half vegetarian and half tonno. Tonno strewn with onions and 5 whole pieces of tuna on top. The vegetarian version was the blank, 2 mushrooms, 3 pieces of eggplant and 1 piece of pepper and some loveless rocket undistributed as a topping. There were 2 tables occupied in the restaurant and I was the only one picking up, so there was no need to rush. The star goes to the friendly employee who took the order. Honestly, even if the pizzas are very large, the toppings are a disgrace and we will avoid L'Osteria in the future and can no longer recommend it. Actually, it's a shame...👎

Great restaurant always a pleasure.

So I've allowed a visit to the restaurant here or there since it opened... but everything positive is limited. The water wasn't the best right from the start, you could eat it right from the start, but it still deteriorated a lot over time... Pizzas were way too big, barely laid out, the same applies to the pasta dishes, especially to them Salads.... the price-performance ratio isn't even right..... in addition, you get filled dishes, and you can also "book" toppings, which are also available at any price.. Drinks are okay for me, for me it's a well-managed mediocre... You have to like the atmosphere. It's not for everyone... you have to like the loud train station feeling.. All-round Kullise from the restaurant...., service that you always hear and then the same from the kitchen. Talk about guests or private things that you obviously want to hear (not!!) In the kitchen you can hear it depending on where you sit and how loud it is! Speaks for no good. Has nothing to do with professionalism. The service itself is okay... and I mean okay. The service itself is decently friendly, but you could walk through the restaurant with your eyes open. Either you come into the restaurant and it looks like a battlefield where you don't even know where to sit down (I know that this has something to do with what time you come) or when you sit, everyone gathers Glasses and bottles on the tables... It's not very pleasant to see when the waiter gets a pizza box for guests and lifts the pizza at the table into the box with "BARE HANDS (!!!)". THAT doesn't work at all!!! Believe me, guests notice more than you would like. And I speak from experience!! Maybe you should revise the concept or sit down with the staff and discuss certain things.

We've ordered here several times before, but my pasta prosciutto e panna last night was really terrible. This dish was supposed to be made with ham, but it was actually made with bacon. The sauce had been cooked down for far too long, consisted almost entirely of onions and tasted strongly of mushrooms. If I had been there, I would have let the dish go back. That had absolutely nothing to do with a cheese cream sauce and at a price of 15 euros. Very unfortunate. This needs urgent attention!

Small but absolutely sufficient restaurant, so far only friendly staff. The food is as you would imagine with the L'Osteria gastronomy concept. There are no surprises here. However, due to the size, you have to forego a lunch menu or a daily special. Unfortunately - as in almost every L'Osteria - the music is often too loud while eating.

The food was delicious, the service was nice, but they didn't give a shit about me after we got the food. I had to wait almost 1:30 hours before I could pay. Even though the restaurant was empty and there were only 2 customers including me, I was completely ignored. After a while, employees even walked out of the store and I was left alone. I just wanted to go home...

We were able to sit outside. It was very nice under pretty umbrellas, lots of tables, and according to our own statement, not enough staff. But it was still pretty quick and the waitress was very nice and friendly. The pizza was great, but also expensive. 15.50 for Pizza Tonno. 0.33 bottle of Italian beer 4.75. Also available in 0.0. Wooden floors inside, the acoustics are probably good.

Very nice and modern Italian restaurant on Wachtbergring. Seating available both inside and outside. Very good Italian cuisine, good value for money. It's also designed to be very transparent, so you can look into the kitchen from the restaurant and outside and always see what's being conjured up there. Take-away and delivery also possible, quick and very pleasant. Overall, a great, really worthwhile Italian restaurant. Be careful with the pizza: it is larger than average, protrudes over every plate, but also tastes excellent.

Service made us wait a very long time, about 45 minutes, to order. Then the dishwasher had to help out with around 15 guests to empty tables and hand out food. The cherry on the cake was when the waitress came with knives and said she had to check whether there were any forks left.

IN ADVANCE: Today was definitely the last time I went to Losteria Wachtberg. Advance orders are apparently given lower priority than customers who call, for example. I can't understand! You can time orders in advance, especially if the order is placed at lunchtime so that you can pick it up in the late afternoon/evening. Unfortunately it wasn't the first time. But I didn't really want to admit it. The food is familiar from Losteria, great. And that's why I like to drive from Remagen up to Wachtberg (consider the time and km that are invested in this). But if you keep waiting longer despite ordering in advance, and sometimes the food is wrong, and you don't even get a "Thank you and we're sorry" from the branch manager, would you like anything else for the delay? But only receive an apology when you ask what was going on, then I am apparently not wanted here as a customer who is clearly familiar with the customer number. This means that Losteria Wachtberg will no longer be served. And the garlic sauce for 1.50 wasn't in the bags either. Unfortunately it was only noticed at home. Everything is sobering. If you want to look, invoice number 174-1

The waiting time for everything was over an hour. For an impossibly long time at the table, ordering and receiving drinks, ordering food and receiving it lukewarm. We even had to wait to pay.. no recommendation..

Wir waren seit der Eröffnung immer wieder mal dort zum Essen und anfangs auch richtig zufrieden, sowohl mit der Qualität des Essens als auch mit dem Service. Beides hat sich speziell in diesem Jahr sehr zum Negativen verändert, insbesondere der Service hat mittlerweile ein schon unterirdisches Niveau erreicht. Drei der letzten vier Rechnungen (!) waren zu unserem Nachteil fehlerhaft, entweder wurden kleine Getränke als große abgerechnet oder anstatt zwei konsumierten Getränken standen drei auf der Rechnung. Der Belag auf der Pizza wird immer weniger und spärlicher, gleichzeitig ist der Preis bei jedem zweiten Besuch gestiegen, insbesondere für die Getränke! Immer wieder neues Personal wirkt kaum eingearbeitet und sehr schnell total überfordert, was zu langen Wartezeiten führt für die bestellten Getränke und Gerichte. Wir waren das letzte Mal dort.

The service was very good and so was the food.

Unfortunately, L'Osteria Wachtberg is another example of how bad service can destroy a good product. We had ordered two pizzas to take away and arrived 15 minutes early to take the fresh, hot pizza straight away. There were two service staff at the pickup counter who were busy with their cell phones and ignored me. After several minutes, when a kitchen employee drew their attention to me, they said "We're busy" and went away to continue playing with their cell phones on the other side. After 15 minutes!!! Then someone came and asked me what I wanted. Just picked up my two pizzas...a reach into the warming box and I had them. When I asked how long they had been there, she couldn't give me an answer. Unfortunately it had been a while, they were lukewarm and the edges were like rubber. It's a shame actually, for the premium price (37 euros) I also expect premium quality.

Even though prices have (understandably) increased, we're still sold on the food (delivery). Tasty, nice drivers and fast service. Continued good luck!

I got scammed. When we needed to pay, I paid 50€ in cash. Our total was 29€ - bruschetta and 4 beers, when I told the waitress that she can take 5€ tip, but instead of paying 34€ in total, I paid 43€, so my recommendation is - take a good look when you get back your money, if you pay in cash. Overall, I give 1* What a place.. 👎👎👎👎👎👎 Never ever I will recommend this place for another people Don’t forget that it is not about the money, but about being good to your customers and making them feeling good at your place. Your place is not trustable!

Yesterday we were in Berkum again. Food, service etc. good as always. But be careful when paying by card: the new device automatically adds a tip. In my case it was €5.00. That's not okay for me!

Visited for the fourth time, really satisfied for the fourth time!

Due to its size it is very loud when the store is full. The quality of the food is just like in any Losteria. You either like it or you don't. The main waiter that evening was a very friendly and hard-working young man. The others go like this. Unfortunately we had a drink returned three times because of lipstick on the glass, then our order was forgotten. We waited an hour for food. Anything can happen but as a tip. A coffee on the house or a small dessert or just a word of apology doesn't hurt the customer.

Food is good as expected. Which deducts one star. ........ no salmon pizza and that just doesn't work. Apart from that good

It's just a system restaurant. If you know one L'Osteria, you know all the others too. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was as usual.

We were here spontaneously on a Saturday afternoon, there wasn't much going on, but it was still very dirty in the restaurant and we had to wait forever for the main course. The starter was brought on a plate with no small plates, cutlery or napkins. Unfortunately the bruscetta was very dry. The pizza vegetariana was too oily and the mushrooms were missing. Unfortunately, the tortelloni proscioto e panna were too hard and the onions in the sauce were burnt, so the sauce was brown and the roasted aromas could not be ignored. For a €15 pasta I just expect more! That's why I asked for a replacement. This wasn't really any better, in the Bonn l'Osteria branches the dish tastes much better. On top of that, the chairs are very uncomfortable. The only positive thing was the friendly service.

The service is too slow and inefficient. You have to wait half an hour for the menu, then half an hour to order, then it takes forever for the food to come and then you have to ask 20 times to pay.

We ate well and tasty. Particularly noteworthy was the child-friendliness and spontaneity! We initially chose a place outside and when it was colder than expected we were allowed to move in with our children without any problems (in fact, I've already experienced this differently elsewhere). Painting supplies were immediately brought to the children. After the delicious and rich meal, the children received a little something extra from the chef. Thank you very much for this! We'll definitely come by again.

Eating after more than 90 minutes, stupidly forgetting the note in the bag. It said pickup even though delivery was ordered. Then they bring ice-cold food and don't even respond to emails. Started strong in Wachtberg, slowed down even more. This is not how you treat your customers. App deleted and erased from memory

Fast, tasty - everything was great!! Always my pleasure!!

Unfortunately it wasn't the best either in terms of taste or where we sat. On the Hawaiian pizza there are chunks of pineapple and coarse pieces of ham. The panna cotta is more like a pudding with strawberry sauce, the fresh strawberries were not included. Any Italian who knows their homeland's food would go running. The Bolognese and the Cabonara were nothing special and definitely not cooked in an Italian way.

The Losteria in Berkum is definitely worth a visit! The ambience is cozy and inviting, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The menu offers a good selection of Italian dishes, all freshly prepared. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is fair. We'd love to come back again and again!
