Due to the large number of guests and many people without reservations, it feels a bit hectic. But overall very nice, with dedicated staff and good, fast, and fresh food.

Excellent service, great staff, always friendly, attentive, and on the ball. The food is, as always, of consistently high quality. And your Primitivo really does taste great. I'll definitely be back.

Completely satisfied! My Caesar salad with chicken was super fresh, the meat tender and perfectly seasoned, and the Parmesan added that special something. The latte macchiato was also delicious. I'd especially like to commend the waitress: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always in a good mood! She took her time and was truly courteous, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, our visit to L’Osteria Paderborn was very disappointing. We were seated quickly, but then completely forgotten for over 15 minutes before we even received the menus. When we ordered our first drink, they forgot the Coke Zero. The food was just as bad: we ordered our appetizer and main course together – the appetizer never arrived. My pasta with pesto was swimming in oil and bore no resemblance to real pesto. The pasta was lukewarm, the pizza ice cold, and the dishes had clearly been sitting in the kitchen for a while. We ordered the Coke Zero again later, but it was forgotten again. Only at the very end did "the appetizer" suddenly arrive, but it consisted of bread rolls instead of the ordered pizza bread, and one dip instead of the three we had ordered. At that point, we didn't want the appetizer at all. Overall, the service was very inattentive, the food lukewarm, and the whole experience disappointing. To top it all off, we still had to pay full price – that really annoyed me. That's a real shame, we were looking forward to a nice evening. I definitely won't be visiting again.

Always full. Still got a table after a short wait. Ordering was relatively quick. Special requests were accommodated. Very large and delicious pizzas. Reasonable prices.

Where should I begin? Overall, we were a bit disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very busy, all at a run. You have to acknowledge that. The food isn't that good. Everything's more dough than anything else these days. Large pizzas that extend beyond the plate, but the toppings? You have to search for them. The calzone, for example, is more of a flatbread. You could really serve it with herb butter. It's a shame, otherwise a place with a nice atmosphere!

According to the website and Google, it's open until 11 p.m. on Sundays. However, at 8:25 p.m., we were told the kitchen had already closed.

I actually love L'Osteria. The four of us drove there today, arrived at 8:10 p.m., and were turned away because the kitchen was closed and all the chairs were already stacked up. Even though they were supposed to be open until 11 p.m. That's beyond annoying!

Large pizza with little topping

Half of the toppings were missing on the pizza, the pasta was only lukewarm, the garlic dressing was still not brought despite being asked twice, and the spritzers were tasteless. By far the worst Losteria visit I've ever had Oh yeah, and it took too long from entering until the food arrived, over an hour, I don't know that

Five of us were just at L'Osteria in Paderborn and wanted to sit outside. The restaurant was empty, but they didn't allow us to push two tables together outside. This was completely incomprehensible to us – especially when there's plenty of space and you want to eat together. Instead of a relaxing day together, it immediately spoiled our mood. We didn't feel welcome, so we left. It's a shame, because that's not what hospitality looks like to us.

I thought long and hard about whether to write this review and have now made a conscious decision. A few weeks ago, I ate at L'Osteria Paderborn with my daughter. Aside from the delicious food and friendly service, I was speechless by the behavior of one of the employees. On my way to the restroom, I overheard a woman being very loud, aggressive, and disrespectful to colleagues. When I learned that she was the shift manager, I was truly shocked. Such unprofessional behavior—especially in a leadership position—not only damages the team but also the restaurant's image. For me, this is a reason not to return, as I do not want to support such behavior. In any other establishment, such behavior would have immediate consequences.

Awesome pizza, crispy thin and so big that the two of us couldn't finish it all. They packed up the leftovers for you without having to ask. The service was very nice and friendly in a relaxed atmosphere. We went there spontaneously for lunch, and there were a few families there. At around €12, the pizza seems quite expensive at first glance, but considering the value for money, the price is justified and not too expensive. Everything I've tried here has been delicious, but I've found the pizzas the best so far. By the way, you can get the pizza with two different toppings. Great!

The food was incredibly good. Unfortunately, the service was inattentive. One person didn't get their drink, the others didn't even get it until the food arrived. We sat there for two hours and weren't even asked if we wanted anything else (including paying). I ate someone's crust along with my pizza and didn't quite finish my own pizza and the crust. I said I'd like it wrapped up (crust + leftover pizza). THE CRUST SIMPLY WASN'T WRAPPED UP. I'D BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS ALL EVENING! NOT EVERYONE HATES PIZZA CRUST...🙁

It's always a pleasure to visit L'Osteria. The huge pizza with its wafer-thin crust is a dream. Other dishes are also highly recommended. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. While you're eating, you always have a view of the open kitchen. I definitely recommend visiting L'Osteria Paderborn.

Yes, highly recommended! The food was delicious! The ambiance is also very nice. Inside, you get that Dolce Vita feeling, especially in the restroom area. If you take the crash course in Italian, you'll love it.

After a long day of shopping in Partyborn, my wife and I were really craving pizza. So we chose L'Osteria. Due to the size of the pizza and the option to customize two halves, this was the perfect place for us. We opted for half a Salsiccia Pikante pizza and half a Rucola pizza. We had a cool Allgäuer Büble beer on tap and a Coca-Cola Zero. The dishes and drinks were extremely tasty and satisfying. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant also offers chili and garlic oil with its dishes (at least upon request). The only minor drawback was that the parasols weren't open, as the sun was already quite strong. Unfortunately, there was no shade option. The wasps also slightly dampened the feeling of well-being. All in all, we left the restaurant full and happy. A visit is definitely recommended! I recently visited L'Osteria in Paderborn and had a truly wonderful evening! I'd especially like to highlight the waitress – petite, with light blue eyes and a wonderful, well-groomed appearance. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and created a pleasant atmosphere throughout the evening. She makes you feel truly welcome. Excellent service – I'd love to go back!

The waiters are everything except waiters

Actually, it was a success, with minor deductions. It was our first visit to a L'Osteria restaurant. I'd at least heard that the pizzas are bigger than the plate, and I can't say otherwise. Especially considering it's a chain, the quality is really good. What was a bit of a shame was the fact that my partner's glass arrived at the table already dirty. It can happen, and it was promptly replaced with a new one. Afterwards, we had to wait almost an hour for two pizzas. As it turned out, it was an error in the receipt transmission to the kitchen. That can happen, too, and in the end, the final product was good :) Furthermore, the young waitress really tried hard and offered us dessert on the house. So, everything was fine, with minor errors that unfortunately can sometimes happen.

Despite a reservation, no table was available. Unfortunately, no further attention was paid after the meal was served, so drinks and dessert could not be ordered.

I chose to eat salad, the greens in the salad could have been fresher. For this reason, I was not very pleased with my meal, but the people next to me preferred pizza and pasta and they loved their meals.

The pizza was okay. The salad with beef chunks that came with it was a disaster. The meat was cooked through and tough, the mango chunks seemed to be from a can, and you had to hunt for the radishes. The leaf salads tasted musty and were enormous. And the dressing tasted of nothing but sour. We returned the salad. When we complained, the response was that it wasn't his fault, he didn't make the salad!!! Also, with the restaurant almost empty, we were supposed to sit at a small table behind the counter. That was the only one they could offer us???

The lasagna was very dry, and the portion was too small. There was too little meat in the Spaghetti Bolognese. I wouldn't give it more than 2 for anything. I make lasagna and Bolognese much tastier at home. The service is also poor. They brought the dishes, but they didn't bring the utensils.

We wanted to go to dinner at 9 p.m., but we were told the kitchen was closed. The restaurant is open until 11 p.m., which I find simply outrageous.

I've always had very good experiences at Losteria Paderborn. The food is truly delicious, the value is good, and the service is always friendly. I can't complain at all! :)

We went to L'Osteria and it was absolutely fantastic! The pizza was huge and incredibly delicious, and the pasta was also really good. The tiramisu for dessert was fantastic! Everything is clean and well organized. What's particularly fun: There's a loudspeaker in the restroom that speaks Italian—you even learn a few words while washing your hands! 😄 We'll definitely be back!

You can tell there's a good plan behind everything – everything runs smoothly, you get your food quickly, special requests are handled with kindness, and you simply feel welcome. I don't know what was going on here, but what exactly does service mean? Saturday lunchtime, sunny and very warm, the tables weren't even half full. A relatively large number of staff seemed to be wandering around, seemingly completely disoriented. From A to B to C to A... without being able to independently notice a customer and take an order. We went to the restroom separately and then still waited to order. At least 15-20 minutes. Only when I practically jumped on one of the waitresses and said we wanted to order did she run away again, but then we were finally allowed to express our wishes. While we were waiting for our food, we overheard the conversation at the next table. A customer complained about cold food and sent it back to be reheated. Not a few seconds later, the waitress came back and said the chef had said the food was hot and that he should feel under the plate. The customer rightly said that he probably knew whether it was hot or cold, after all, he'd just tasted it from the top, and that she should reheat the food. Honestly, that's so cheeky to start an argument with the customer here! My lemon mascarpone pasta didn't taste of lemon at all, but rather like pasta with béchamel sauce. I was so annoyed that I didn't want to argue with the staff. The person who seemed to be in charge looked the whole time as if she didn't like her job. You didn't feel welcome. But the real shocker came when you paid. Card payment, card placed on the table, while the aforementioned "manager" tapped the colleague on the shoulder and sent her straight to the table further back. Then she ran off without a thank you or goodbye. Conclusion: once and never again in Paderborn!

Even after repeated requests, our order wasn't taken, and we had to wait more than 30 minutes before we could order, while at least four tables were being served by people who had arrived after us. But the pasta is delicious.

Ich hatte mir Spaghetti Aglio Olio bestellt. Als die Pasta serviert wurde, war sie nur noch lauwarm. Die Spaghetti waren zerkocht und klebten als ein Klumpen an der Gabel. Gewürze scheint man in der L'Osteria auch nicht zu kennen, da alles vollkommen geschmacklos war. Service war von der Begrüßung bis zur Bezahlung einfach unterirdisch! Das war mein erster und letzter Besuch dort!

I had lunch here with my family on Saturday, we got a table without a reservation and I really enjoyed it. The service was extremely friendly, the food was ready quickly and very tasty. The ingredients seemed fresh and prepared to a high quality. It's enough for two people to share a large pizza (really very large). You can then choose two different toppings. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come here again.

The pizza (Margherita) was very tasty, but it would have been nice if there had been a little more basil on the pizza instead of the two cherry tomatoes in the middle. The plate was also a little too small for the pizza, which made cutting it more difficult. The food was served very quickly and the staff were very friendly.

Hatte vorab (2 Wochen vorher) 4 Plätze zum Mittagessen (Geburtstagsessen meiner Mutter) reserviert. Hatten einen ganz kleinen Minitisch am Fenster. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, das Lokal war dunkel, der Service war schlecht. Das Essen war auch nicht gut, teilweise kalt und 1 Essen kam zu spät. Da waren wir anderen schon fast fertig. Hatten dann auch keine Lust mehr auf Kaffee etc. und sind weitergezogen.

Overall pretty good, but nothing special. Some of the food was really tasty, but mine (spaghetti with rocket, cherry tomatoes and parmesan) was very bland. But hunger drives it in! Service was good, could have been a little quicker. The pizza is really huge and the tables are just too small for that. This is a bit misplanned.

We were there on a Saturday and were lucky to get a spot spontaneously, as you can't make a reservation on the same day! Unfortunately we received an incredibly rude welcome. When we asked if we had made a reservation and said no, the response was "I don't feel like discussing it now," a reaction that was surprising and inappropriate. No "you" and generally no "welcome" behavior. The waitress was very nice and made an effort. The only thing that was shocking was that she touched the salad without gloves and then or beforehand served, cleared away or made payments. Absolutely unappetizing and a no-go in a restaurant. Luckily the food was still delicious, except for the “silent” shandy. We were there in the past (2024) and everything was good.

The special edition of the restaurant’s wine is too good and the salad is super healthy. There are also options for the vegan. The waiters are a very supportive with the language German and English also…

Last night I had dinner with two friends at L’Osteria in Paderborn. We were totally positively surprised. The service was super accommodating and nice. Furthermore, the food was also absolutely delicious. I shared a pizza with a friend, I had half a caprese pizza and my friend had the BBQ chicken. We both enjoyed it very much and both pizzas are highly recommended in our opinion. My other friend had a pasta, the Gnocci Gamberetti. My girlfriend really liked that too. All in all, everything tasted very good and was freshly prepared! We can definitely recommend L’Osteria and will always enjoy eating there again :)

The food tasted good and my wishes were taken into account, but the portion was soooo tiny. Unfortunately I didn't come home full. Staff understaffed like everywhere else. The shop is very comfortably furnished.

The employees are quite stressed and not particularly friendly to one another. The food gave me a stomachache, so I wouldn't recommend the vegan cheese alternative, which tastes and feels like raw dough. The chicken alternative is also completely unseasoned, which shows that they have no idea about vegan preparation, and salt is simply not enough, if there was any salt at all. The air in the shop is quite warm and stuffy, and the customers sit quite close together. It was more pleasant outside. Many customers were simply quiet and seemed like they would rather eavesdrop on my conversation with my friend, which made it a little uncomfortable... The waitress was very friendly and did everything perfectly. Thank you for that!

Well, you could do a lot better, had salad as a starter, everything was mixed together, you could make your own salad dressing, lasagne was dry and if you don't know lasagna, you had to wait for drinks even though there wasn't much going on, dessert was terrible, spaghetti ice cream, any Italian would be ashamed of that

Originally, I gave 5 stars ranking after the first experience which was incredible, I was tonight again there with a dream of a very delicious food, I ordered the same as the previous time, but it was totally awful, unbelievable, too salty und scharf, burnt and without any taste and I even told them in the restaurant, when I arrived home I was thinking I wasted my time and money, sorry to write like that, but it is exactly my disappointing experience. I will never go there 😔

Pizza without color, too big for the plate (or plate too small for the pizza), not cut, waited forever, shop practically empty...poor performance. But the kicker is when you ask AGAIN to have the pizza cut and the "professional staff" can't even do that. Retrain, file for unemployment, do something, but stop catering. Please!

Unfortunately I found the visit disappointing. Children's Magerita pizza full of thick cheese toppings. Didn't taste like tomato. Gnoggi not good either. Carbonara sauce transparent and not that tasty. So I've eaten much better pizzas. Service ok and ambience ok too. Toilet not barrier-free, you have to go down one floor.

We went to this Italian restaurant for dinner, and we were surprised by the positive reviews it has since I don't think they deserve them. To drink we ordered lemonade (4.95eu), for a soft drink similar to a fanta. And a beer for 4.95eu. For lunch we ordered a starter to share, a kind of toast with tomato (6 euros) and a ham and mushroom pizza for 14.95 eu. It took them a long time to serve us our drinks. In fact, the pizza arrived earlier. The restaurant was full and the waiters were disorderly. There was a lot of noise and it was not comfortable. I will not return

Really big catastrophe. Pizza was totally soggy. I felt like I was eating dough. The tiramisu was completely frozen. The service staff was very nice but overwhelmed with the situation.
