This is the best place, we love eating, the pizzas are really delicious and big😋, the service staff are so nice, thank you very much, we always enjoy coming back.

The view was quite good. However, the service was a bit fussy, hence two stars deducted.

We had a lovely evening with excellent food and particularly attentive service. When we asked if the "date" information on our online reservation had any special meaning, our waiter (Philipp) didn't know, but he surprised us with a free dessert – a very nice gesture! Only later did we mention that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary – which made it all the more wonderful to see how spontaneous and warm the response was. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

The pizzas are probably the largest in the area; even Gabriele's in Säckingen can't compete. They taste good, but they could be a bit crispier. The mascarpone cream, however, was fantastic. Nice atmosphere and plenty of space. We'll definitely come again.

How sad! It's the second time we go to this restaurant, a disappointment like the first time. The waitress didn't bring us cutlery, we asked otherwise we would have eaten with our hands. Then we finished eating, the dishes remained on the table the whole time. The pasta was horrible. Never again!!!! Zero zero service.

The food was, as always, fine and very tasty. It also arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, the waiter ripped us off when it came to the tip. He came with a payment device and said the bill was €80. We (three adults and two children) clearly understood the amount. I explained to him that I would pay €82, including a €2 tip. I also asked for the receipt, and he assured me he would bring it after payment. After we paid and he brought the bill, we drove home. On the way home, we noticed that the actual bill was only about €69.75. It seems as if the waiter had significantly overcharged us or deliberately overcharged us. The receipt suddenly showed over €12 instead of the €2 tip. This seems very suspicious, and we are certain that this was an intentional rip-off. Reading the comments here, it seems like something like this has happened several times before without any action being taken. I regularly visit the restaurant in Basel and have always had positive experiences. I await a statement, as this behavior is fraudulent and damaging the restaurant's reputation. I request that Managing Director Marco Rummenigge take urgent action.

Many thanks to Hasa and his team. We ate at the Osteria yesterday and today with our soccer team. The pizza was super delicious. The salad and pasta were also delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Simply awful. The pizza was burnt and the pasta was just slapped onto the plate. We're used to something different from this restaurant. Our comments about the food were met with a rude response from the waitress. And overall, the woman (blonde hair with dreadlocks) who served us was just plain irritated and unfriendly. Never again.

Always pay attention to what you're billing! The restaurant is very appealing, the pizzas are delicious, but when it comes to paying, you have to be careful. My tip was generously rounded up, even though I clearly stated how much I wanted to pay. Even after consulting the manager, there was no response, which is a shame! My phone call and email of May 24th never received a response! Your feedback is quite hypocritical.

Today I bought two prosciutto mushroom pizzas, one large water, one iced tea, and a burrata. The waiter wanted €69, which didn't match the listed price. I noticed it afterwards.

Unfortunately, the overall good impression was marred by the service. One of the servers was very unfriendly and unattentive, which significantly diminished the experience. It's a shame, because with friendlier and more attentive service, the visit would have been a complete success.

A great, good Italian restaurant. Excellent and adequate service with some highlights on the menu. The dessert menu also has some surprises. The wine list could be a bit more select, but the basics of Italian wines are there. The ambiance is extremely interesting, with rather close seating, which, however, has a positive effect on the atmosphere in the restaurant. The background noise from the people present reminds you of a vacation in Italy 😉👍!

I can only recommend this place. You are given such a warm welcome, just like you would at home. The service is first class, the food is first class, and it is spotlessly clean. You really get enough and your stomach is by no means overfilled. The pizzas are huge, but if you don't want the whole thing, you can share one.

The food is okay. The pizzas are impressive because of their size. The restaurant itself is modernly equipped. You can't generalize about the service; it really depends on the individual. Some are really good at what they do and you feel like you're in good hands, while others still need some practice.

Man waits for the food 1 hour even if the restaurant is empty, never in my life seen such a cheap service

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our last visit. The dish with beef fillet in pasta did not live up to our expectations – the meat seemed more like ordinary minced meat and was not of the quality of beef fillet. Even the sauce, which the menu said should have a lemon flavor, tasted like nothing more than cream. We unfortunately had to leave part of the food. We usually enjoy eating in Freiburg and have had good experiences so far, but in this case, the quality was unfortunately not up to our liking. We very much hope that this will change in the future.

We know losteria from other cities. The food is good. I think it's great that you can add any ingredients you like to the dishes. This one in Lörrach doesn't quite match the experience we had in Munich. I get the impression that there's a lot of staff turnover. We've been there a couple of times. Today the restaurant was three-quarters full. Orders were taken quickly. The waiter didn't seem professional and seemed rather cold and insecure. One of five main courses wasn't delivered. The children wanted to share a Bolognese. It was served on one plate instead of two, with one set of cutlery. After 10 minutes, I asked again. The waiters don't make eye contact with the guests, so I just stood up and spoke to him directly. When it came time to pay, I waited a full 15 minutes before I stood up again. I raised my arm several times, but was treated like air. Dear owner, please train your staff. Such a beautiful place, in a very good location. Are you usually on site? Certain comments do seem to indicate a problem with the service. The music is definitely too loud. But it's worked better in the past. We'll try our luck again. We were probably offered an espresso by a senior staff member, since things didn't go smoothly. The waiter himself remarked that he was stressed today. Of course, we understand that "annoying guests" come into a restaurant, order, and want to eat together, and even pay at the end. Communication between them is excellent, but don't forget the guests... Response to your response: Dear Owner, Thank you for your response. I'm happy to stick with "Sie" (you) – even though it irritated me more than it reassured me. Instead of focusing on improving guest service, you shift the blame onto the difficult staffing situation and make problematic blanket judgments – both about your employees and the situation at the Swiss border. Statements like those about the "German social security system" or that many are "just waiting for a job in Switzerland" come across as derogatory and unprofessional. Something like that shouldn't have a place in a public response – especially if you're trying to lead and motivate a team yourself. There are plenty of examples in Lörrach of restaurants with long-standing, dedicated staff – so the problem doesn't seem to lie solely with the location. In my opinion, your statements about your own team also say something about the culture practiced in this branch! I hope that in the future, you'll place more emphasis on service quality, team leadership, and genuine hospitality – rather than on blame.

The service, especially the Turkish waiter, is incredibly unprofessional. He is rude, argues with his colleagues and makes a scene in front of the guests, the clothes are inappropriate for a waiter, and I could go on forever… L’Osteria is well known. This guy is ruining your image. You should get rid of him as quickly as possible.

Only the name is Italian. How do you propose a carbonara with speck, cream and parsley? I advise you to remove the dish from the menu. Hawaiian pizza IS NOT ITALIAN!!! Poor service: the starter arrives in the center (the only good thing of the evening) but not the dishes for the diners. We had to ask him 2 times. Meanwhile we were still waiting for drinks too. Finally the wine arrives and the waiter tells me he didn't know how to uncork the bottle... I opened it myself. Then the first 2 pizzas arrive.. the other 2 pizzas arrive after 5 long minutes 🤦🏻‍♂️. The pizza is too thin and large, much larger than the plate: very annoying to cut and eat. Finally we ask for a limoncello... something called limoncello spritz arrives (which no one had asked for), a sort of limoncello diluted with water. Undrinkable. Please don't pass yourself off as an Italian restaurant 🙏🏻. All very bad.

Unfortunately the service was weak! Weak, unfriendly and when I asked if we could go outside I was told I had no say. The employee with glasses and a short stature was really very unfriendly! Later, another employee who brought the pizzas called me boss, as if we were friends...

I always look forward to L'Osteria in Lörrach, they have really excellent and authentic Italian pizzas. Everything on the menu is also very tasty and highly recommended. Das Restaurant ist am Freitag um 16.00 Uhr 3/4 leer. Der nette Herr am Empfang gibt uns die 2 schlimmsten Tische . Beim ersten knallt die Schiebetüre des Eingangs jedesmal am Tisch oder an den Stuhl. Der 2 .ist in der hintersten Ecke, wo die Pizza gemacht wird. Es hat mitten im Restaurant Platz und auch am Fenster. Er ist unhöflich, ich versuche ihn darauf anzusprechen. Er ignoriert mich. Mi scusi. Ich war ein Fan von der Osteria. Das ist uns noch nie passiert. Alle waren immer zuvorkommend und nett. Schade!!!!!

Sehr grosse und leckere Pizzas. Offener Wein gut. Teig ausgezeichnet und nirgendwo angebrannt, einfach perfekt. Wartezeit ungef. 15 Min. was für Pizza absolut normal ist. Freundlicher Service, viele junge Leute als Kunden und im Service tätig, nettes Ambiente. Aussenbereich ist angenehm und nicht zu eng bestuhlt. Toiletten sind absolut sauber. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in dieser Pizzeria und werden wieder kommen. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu beanstanden, es war ein Vergnügen.

The food (salad) was very good. Looking at the pizzas, I'll probably order a pizza next time. Overall, the visit was great. The service was fast and very friendly. Went there for lunch today and yeah, how should you put it? Service staff seemed very hectic and sometimes unfriendly. Unfortunately, my Cola Zero was almost non-carbonated and relatively warm (despite ice cubes). My wife had bruschetta for the starter, which also tasted and looked relatively bland. Their pasta was relatively good for a restaurant chain, but in my opinion my pizza was a failure... I had half tuna and the other half was ham and mushrooms, the tomato sauce was very little and also relatively neutral in taste, the tuna was "thrown" on it and not distributed, my HAM and mushrooms half only consisted of mushrooms except for 2 pieces of ham. That's it for the meal, then we get to the restaurant, I don't think our table has ever had one got a proper cleaning, cups and glass edges on the entire table could also be swept again (although this could also be thanks to the high throughput). Then on to the last point... the service. Since we wanted to sit outside due to the beautiful spring temperatures and the sun, we were told that it was not possible to sit outside due to the lack of staff has. I don't know if that's a good thing for the service worker in question. Well, in any case, it was the first and last time there for us.

Nice environment and relatively full place, there were three of us and we took two pizzas, a margherita with olives and garlic (extra) and a parmigiana garlic (extra) divided into two dishes. The garlic never arrived on the pizza, the waiter took the order but he was under stress and it wasn't pleasant, the parmesan aubergine on the pizza was just a slice of half raw aubergine placed on the pizza and another tomato was placed on top of it which was also raw and disgusting. I think first you have to understand what a parmigiana is and then offer it on pizzas. However, the place was full and I'm happy for you but what I ate wasn't a pizza for me, but just a simulation of a pizza.

It was better... Actually, L'Osteria is always really good and you can't go wrong. However, it is not recommended with several people. We had made reservations for six people two months (!) in advance. First we were sent to the wrong table, then, somewhat annoyed, to another one. Unfortunately, the tables in the entrance area are strange. At the third table, three small tables had to be pushed together, which is not exactly comfortable sitting. Food is good, decent prices for a "chain", but everything is a bit loveless & service is often annoying - a shame. The salad we ordered to take away (just before paying) was unfortunately not dressed (salad without sauce, which we only noticed when we got home). Will definitely come back, but not with several people (there are simply no large tables) for what is actually a cozy evening - a shame... 🤷🏻‍♀️

I celebrated my birthday at L'Osteria in Lörrach and it was literally a celebration! Starting with the mega-friendly welcome from the staff, through a huge selection of menus and drinks, to the absolute enjoyment of the fantastic pizzas, pasta and salads! Pizza: Not only large in size, but also in the extremely rich topping, a top-crunchy dough Champions League. The pasta and the salad were also lovingly prepared, you can tell that the "L'Osterias" not only do their job well, but really love it! The highlight was that an extremely delicious dessert was brought to me as a birthday present. All in all, an absolutely great experience, not to mention perfect value for money. I also know L'Osteria from Berlin and Prague, but what we experienced in Lörrach simply cannot be topped. Keep it up and thank you very much for this wonderful experience!

When I called to ask if I needed to make a reservation for two people, I was told no, we can just come like that. So we went and everything was full, we just have to wait now. Then we decided to take something with us, had to look for the menu ourselves and after looking at it for a second we were asked what we wanted. We said no but then we weren't even noticed anymore. Losteria Lörrach is absolutely not recommended. The music is just way too loud and you can't even understand your own words
