L'Osteria Kempten in Kempten (Allgäu)

There was a bit of a mix-up with my special request at first, but it was resolved to my complete satisfaction. The food was delicious and the service very friendly...

We were here for lunch quite late (after 2 p.m.) with three adults and two children. The service was very friendly and attentive, and they were also very attentive to children. We were also very satisfied with the food, and the decor is modern and functional. The value for money is absolutely excellent. We would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately coffee was very disappointing. Not good milk foam, very hot and spilled when brought and no replacement. Food delicious.

Panzerotti Spinaci was supposed to be what arrived. This was it. Instead of cream there was water stuck together Panzerotti that was cold. It was specially ordered without fried onions but unfortunately it arrived. Unfortunately, the Losteria in Kempten has deteriorated greatly in terms of food and friendliness.

The pizzeria is a good address for a relaxed visit. The pizza was tasty and fresh, but could have been a little hotter. The staff was friendly and helpful, even if the waiting time was a little longer. The atmosphere is pleasant and invites you to linger. Overall, a nice experience - we'll be happy to come back when we're in the area.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed for a €15 ham pizza, just one slice of ham on a huge pizza? You're not serious. I won't order there again.

The food was OK as always, we regularly go to the Osteria in Kempten and sometimes in other cities. The young man from the service was very, very nice and helpful 👍🏻 Only the table assigned to us wasn't completely clean and there was a lot of leftover food under the table. The music was too loud for our taste and we were able to open the window to combat the heat.

Went here for dinner today. The pizzas were - as always - very, very tasty. On one half I had the Pizza Rustica with olives, I found it a bit disappointing that there were only three olives on this huge half. Unfortunately, you can see here that everything is standardized and counted on us. I wonder when this will be done with the mushrooms, which were on the pizza in masses, unlike the olives.. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not at all inviting. Way too loud!!! This is also due to the music being way too loud, because you almost have to shout at each other to have a conversation. And the tables are far too close together; private conversation is not possible due to the shouting at every table. It's better to have a few fewer guests, turn down the volume a little and get more olives on the pizza ;-)

Too crowded, too loud, the wine too warm, but it was also Saturday evening.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant on a Saturday evening – without a reservation, of course. We knew we would have to wait a bit, but to our surprise we got a table after about 10 minutes. The team made a real effort to accommodate all the waiting guests in a friendly manner and it was clear that everyone was welcome. The reception was already pleasant, but the service throughout the entire evening was really outstanding: attentive, quick and warm. We felt well looked after all around. The absolute highlight, however, was the food. Every single plate was full of flavor, freshly prepared and served with love. We knew it was good from our last visit - but we had forgotten how good it really is. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Overall, an all-round successful experience that makes you want to visit many more times. Spontaneously decided – and was rewarded with a great evening!

Unfortunately, our visit was not very pleasant and the service was slow, uncommunicative and anything but customer-oriented. Drinks could be ordered after 45 minutes of waiting. After another 20 minutes the drinks finally arrived. The food order was basically taken when the drinks were almost empty and the food only arrived lukewarm. Some of us even had to take the food with us because time was too short. It's a shame that when you make a reservation you are treated like this...

The pizza is amazing, sooooo delicious. The service is very diligent, but it's far too loud for me! You don't understand your own words, everyone has to drown out everyone else and that's a real shame. It's not for me, but if you want to eat delicious food, go there at any time!!!! 👍👍👍

L'Osteria in Kempten offers a very good dining experience throughout our entire stay. The service was consistently fast and friendly. Absolutely top-notch. The food also left a smile on our faces. Whether it was an appetizer or a main course, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is pleasant, thanks in part to the open kitchen, and makes you forget about time. Only the high noise level makes it a bit uncomfortable, but that doesn't detract from the well-deserved 5/5 stars.

We had the best welcome here. There was a "Reserved" sign on the table that we were shown. I asked if we could really take it because that's where the sign said. And the nice waiter said: "It's reserved for you. I knew you were coming." I still think that's cute to this day. ❤️

We have been coming here regularly for many years and, except for a few times, have always eaten very deliciously! Service has been mostly ok so far, we have always been served particularly happily and in an absolutely friendly manner by MIRELA! She is extremely efficient and accommodating! Unfortunately it's not always there!

The service was quick and the food was good. Despite making a reservation at reception, we had to wait 10 minutes until someone even welcomed us. We got one of the worst tables in the restaurant. My legs couldn't even fit under the table and I'm only 1.82m tall. We ate more squatting than at a real table. Unfortunately, the L'osteria in Kempten disappointed me and will not see us as guests again.

Was with 2 friends on Friday evening. I have to say it was really busy. Unfortunately, during our first two rounds of drinks, after a long wait, we had to politely ask again whether we were still getting our drinks. And then the first time I got the wrong drink. I think it was because the two employees behind the counter were not trained and when things are so busy you notice that. But our service staff mastered the whole thing perfectly with their positive, friendly and confident manner. In addition, she was also honest and that one of her incorrect drink orders was "messed up". And to make up for it, there was a bowl of nuts. There are great dishes on the menu that I haven't seen at our other pizzerias and the food tasted very good. That's why I would always go there to eat.

Here at the Park Hotel 🏨 in Kempten, as hotel guests, we were gratefully given a seat in the full restaurant. As always in the Lostaria, the usual quality of the food is great. It was a very warm summer evening and it was very warm in the restaurant. Despite everything, we were very satisfied.

L’Osteria is undoubtedly an uncomplicated place to go for delicious food, which always attracted us there when we were in Kempten. Nevertheless, we were amazed at the unprofessional behavior of the staff today. One or two waiters find it more important to eat pistachios right in front of us or take a smoke break than to pick up drinks. Furthermore, loud conversations were taking place right next to our table in extremely offensive language, the content of which was sometimes very inappropriate. In addition, waiters were constantly staring at their cell phones, which forced another couple to leave the restaurant before ordering. We didn't feel valued as guests and won't come again.

There were 6 of us and everyone was thrilled!!! Pizza, pasta and salad… an experience! The service was perfect and very friendly!!! We would love to come back…

Unfortunately, our visit to the Osteria didn't convince us: the pasta wasn't al dente (as it should be) but was overcooked. The pizza wasn't hot, just lukewarm and almost cold. We weren't asked by the service staff whether we liked it. Unfortunately, we won't be going to the Osteria in Kempten any time soon and we won't recommend it either!

The food was great, the service could have been much more attentive, but they were often busy chattering so it became stressful for the remaining servers. Nevertheless, the waitresses were friendly. It wasn't really comfortable as there was a lot of walking around our table. Urgent suggestion for improvement: new knives, the ones we had at the table were all rather dull (no comparison to the branch on Saturday in Augsburg) Overall conclusion: Recommended

Pizza was very tasty. The noodles themselves were great, but the sauce was very greasy.

Unfortunately it's not the same anymore, it used to be better in terms of taste, service and cleanliness in general.

We were there on January 1st around 7pm at peak time - without a reservation. Despite a long line, we were kindly let in by the nice waitresses. They politely advised us that it might take a little longer for our food to arrive (we really should have taken this more seriously). The wait for two pizzas was almost an hour. The indoor area was quite cool and very lively with the loud music, which made it difficult to converse with each other. The pizzas were okay, but unfortunately not a highlight for us. We probably won't come back again.

As always, it was very tasty. However, the waiting times were a little longer than expected.

Unfortunately, El Osteria repeatedly failed to convince us. The food is always great and the price is reasonable considering the size of the pizzas. However, we repeatedly had problems with having to wait for a very long time and orders being mixed up. It seems like the employees are under too much stress. It is also always very loud, but that is understandable given the size of the building.

We made a reservation online the day before. This is highly recommended as it is always very well attended. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The food pizza spaghetti tasted very good. The price-performance ratio is good. The espresso could be better.

As far as the ambience is concerned, it is like all other L'Osteria restaurants: it is relatively loud, which is simply due to the number of guests that are usually in the restaurant. Luckily there wasn't as much going on this time.
