The food was cold and the service was completely overwhelmed! I wouldn't recommend it. It's a shame. I know this place much better.

The ambiance, located right on a main road, isn't recommended. It's hard to hear your own voice outside. But the food and service were excellent, as usual.

The ambiance is very nice. It wasn't busy at lunch. The food came quickly, and the pizza, as always, was very large and delicious. Unfortunately, it was a bit crispy this time, and there wasn't much ham. They could do with some more vegan options.

The food is simply top-notch and so delicious. I don't think I've ever eaten such delicious pasta. Everyone is also very polite and accommodating.

Previous review: We were there on a Friday at 2 p.m. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside I found was that there was a "Reserved" sign on every table, even though the restaurant was only about a quarter full. Guests came in, saw the signs everywhere, and then disappeared again because apparently all the seats were taken. Maybe they should reconsider that, but otherwise everything was fine.

It was delicious as always! :) The BBQ chicken is simply my absolute favorite at L'Osteria.

Not all L’Osterias are created equal – we had a great meal after shopping – the salad was very fresh, the service was charming, the portions were very generous, and the Lugana was great – we'd gladly go back!

The pizza was much too large, my first time here. A little more information from the waiter would have been appreciated. My companion is very short and thin, so of course it's not an 8-meter pizza. The quality is also mediocre. I'd rather go for Orange Octopus.

The food was very good. However, we must have just had a bad day. Everything went very slowly, the food took a long time, and then the pizza came first, and when the first of us finished it, the rest arrived.

If you're lucky, you'll get a server who's got everything under control and can even cater to large groups. If you're unlucky, you'll simply wait 15 minutes before you can order. In the end, we were very satisfied, but there were some initial difficulties ;)

I was there with a foreign friend. She initially asked in English for a specific seat, but we were told they had too many reservations. However, the guests who arrived after us (10 minutes later) were immediately offered a seat without a reservation. A table under palm trees was uncomfortable, so we had to move twice. The waitress seemed visibly annoyed. The pizza itself was incredibly good and crispy. Highly recommended. When we wanted to pay, we encountered the annoying German behavior: Our pizza and the Coke together came to €14.50. However, card payments were only accepted for €15. Because of a 50-cent charge, they refused to let us pay by card. The service was truly outrageously bad.

Under the heading "Mistakes can happen, it's a question of how you deal with them," I'd like to say the following about this restaurant: Reservation management: Very helpful, but completely overbooked. Reserved tables had to wait because they apparently worked with last-minute fillers (though that wasn't the case for us personally). Atmosphere: The music and subsequent noise from the guests was so loud that it was barely possible to place a proper order. Nothing more needs to be said. Food: I can't say for myself; in the end, I didn't eat anything (I declined a second attempt after the first attempt to serve my food with good quality). The other guests at the table found it rather poor, at least that evening. Service: Obviously completely overwhelmed, but trying hard. This is due to several factors (among them, the server apparently has to help with the finishing of the dishes in the kitchen). Unfortunately, this also led to my pizza being made but not served. By the time the mistake was noticed, it had probably been sitting for some time and was then served cold without a follow-up check. The annoying thing is the waitress's statement: "You can't be mad now, you can see what's going on here" and "It's not my fault." Both statements, however, can be clearly answered with "Yes, I can, and it was." (They didn't forget to make the pizza, they simply forgot to serve it. That's why it was cold when it arrived.) However, I don't want to leave out the two free espressos. Conclusion: Yes, it was a busy holiday. And yes, I've worked in the industry for years and therefore have a great understanding of the challenges in this business. However, these challenges cannot be projected onto the guest. In my opinion, one should pay close attention to complaint management and implying standards that work every day (not just on the less busy ones). And if you have an open kitchen, you should be aware that this brings with it special challenges in terms of external presentation. Thank you for the opportunity to submit this review.

This Italian restaurant at Kempten is known for their famous spread of Pizzas. The sizes of the pizzas are huge and can be easily shareable by two. I have ordered BBQ Chicken pizza which was as usual very large and was moderately delicious. But the other varieties of pizzas were quite tasty as described by my colleagues. We had an ore booking at this restaurant for a table of around 15 people and the arrangements were quite smooth. The attendants were also very well behaved and lead time of serving was quite less. The ambience is quite artistic. They have their sitting arrangements both outside and inside of the restaurant. They have a washroom on the ground floor. Being a non alcoholic person, I was happy to get a cup of hot Darjeeling tea while others of course could enjoy their portion of beers. The kitchen is well exposed to the customers and one can really see the pizzas in making which was also very interesting to me!

Huge pizzas that were really good, and friendly service. Unfortunately, the outside wasn't very inviting, but the inside had a typical Losteria feel, which fits perfectly. Unfortunately, it was very busy, but that was probably due to the fact that it was a holiday.

Yesterday, the two of us visited L'Osteria in Kempten. We were greeted by an extremely friendly waitress, and the service was truly excellent! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the pizza. While it was impressively large—which is certainly a matter of taste—the toppings were skimped on, and that was the vegetarian version. The dough wasn't fully cooked, so the overall texture was rather sticky. The pasta my wife ordered was also, unfortunately, quite tasteless. The restaurant itself is very spacious, but also quite noisy, so the ambiance is more reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant than an Italian restaurant with flair. One bright spot, however, was the wine list: We treated ourselves to a good bottle of wine, served nice and cold, accompanied by a wine cooler with ice. That was a pleasant aspect of our evening.

At first, no one at reception felt responsible for us - then, how should I say, a little annoyed - and gave us a seat. The lady who served us was very friendly and brought something for our five-year-old to draw. Unfortunately, I didn't like the pizza - I had the asparagus version from the spring menu - it was very thin and very crispy with not much pizzazz. My husband had spaghetti agli olio, which was almost unseasoned - there was no salt in it, and spaghetti is difficult to add seasoning. It's a shame, because I liked the atmosphere and the pizza oven looks very professional.

The quality of the food is always a bit of a matter of luck. We've had some delicious pizzas, salads, and pasta dishes, but we've also had dishes that were oversalted, burnt, or bland.

We came here for lunch quite late in the afternoon (after 2 p.m.) with 3 adults and 2 children. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and also very kind to children. We were also very happy with the food and the furnishings are modern and functional. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately coffee was very disappointing. Not good milk foam, very hot and spilled when brought and no replacement. Food delicious.

Panzerotti Spinaci was supposed to be what arrived. This was it. Instead of cream there was water stuck together Panzerotti that was cold. The pizzeria is a good address for a relaxed visit. The pizza was tasty and fresh, but could have been a little hotter. The staff was friendly and helpful, even if the waiting time was a little longer. The atmosphere is pleasant and invites you to linger. Overall, a nice experience - we'll be happy to come back when we're in the area.

The food was OK as always, we regularly go to the Osteria in Kempten and sometimes in other cities. The young man from the service was very, very nice and helpful 👍🏻 Only the table assigned to us wasn't completely clean and there was a lot of leftover food under the table. The music was too loud for our taste and we were able to open the window to combat the heat.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed for a €15 ham pizza, just one slice of ham on a huge pizza? You're not serious. I won't order there again.

Went here for dinner today. The pizzas were - as always - very, very tasty. On one half I had the Pizza Rustica with olives, I found it a bit disappointing that there were only three olives on this huge half. Unfortunately, you can see here that everything is standardized and counted on us. I wonder when this will be done with the mushrooms, which were on the pizza in masses, unlike the olives.. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not at all inviting. Way too loud!!! This is also due to the music being way too loud, because you almost have to shout at each other to have a conversation. And the tables are far too close together; private conversation is not possible due to the shouting at every table. It's better to have a few fewer guests, turn down the volume a little and get more olives on the pizza ;-)

We spontaneously went to the restaurant on a Saturday evening – without a reservation, of course. We knew we would have to wait a bit, but to our surprise we got a table after about 10 minutes. The team made a real effort to accommodate all the waiting guests in a friendly manner and it was clear that everyone was welcome. The reception was already pleasant, but the service throughout the entire evening was really outstanding: attentive, quick and warm. We felt well looked after all around. The absolute highlight, however, was the food. Every single plate was full of flavor, freshly prepared and served with love. We knew it was good from our last visit - but we had forgotten how good it really is. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Overall, an all-round successful experience that makes you want to visit many more times. Spontaneously decided – and was rewarded with a great evening!

Unfortunately, our visit was not very pleasant and the service was slow, uncommunicative and anything but customer-oriented. Drinks could be ordered after 45 minutes of waiting. After another 20 minutes the drinks finally arrived. The food order was basically taken when the drinks were almost empty and the food only arrived lukewarm. Some of us even had to take the food with us because time was too short. It's a shame that when you make a reservation you are treated like this...

L'Osteria in Kempten offers a very good dining experience throughout our entire stay. The service was consistently fast and friendly. Absolutely top-notch. The food also left a smile on our faces. Whether it was an appetizer or a main course, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is pleasant, thanks in part to the open kitchen, and makes you forget about time. Only the high noise level makes it a bit uncomfortable, but that doesn't detract from the well-deserved 5/5 stars.
