Very nice conditions, delicious food!!!!

Before placing my order, I asked an employee if I could use my 172 Amore hearts for a free pizza if I only paid for the drinks beforehand so that I had enough points (175). After ordering, the employee told me to redeem the voucher. I was shown a barcode, he wanted to scan it, but couldn't and asked me to close the app and restart it. The voucher suddenly expired, payment was no longer possible with it and even the manager couldn't help and made us pay the full price. I've eaten there many times, but I've rarely experienced such bad service. Never again!

Edit: I've been to L'Osteria more often in the last 2-3 years and I feel more and more comfortable. The food is always delicious, the portions are large, and the price is reasonable. The service can sometimes be mixed, the store is always full, so you can sometimes wait a long time - but everyone is usually friendly and accommodating. Always a good address for a delicious meal! Old review: Nice restaurant, food was okay (pasta and risotto are getting smaller and smaller in my opinion... pizza top). The bad review is because of the service. Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable. The waiter was condescending, commenting on our choices. When we arrived the restaurant was still empty, but the waiter was still inattentive and made us feel unwelcome. The food was great as always, but we won't be going to the Ostend branch any time soon. Too bad.

We had two evening meals here on our business stay, & can I just say we were so glad we visited the lovely restaurant. The staff that served us were polite & helpful. Great food & service. The place had a trendy feel but at the same time cosy. Would advise anyone who likes great Italian food to book here for there meal.

Unfriendly service. We asked several times if we could pay and were always told “yes immediately” (no one came). The waiter gave himself a “tip” (gave too little change several times).

Typical L'Osteria with the usual flair and large portions (at appropriate prices). The service left something to be desired; the employees preferred to chat rather than take orders or clear tables. In addition, the outside door was always left open, which is very uncomfortable in winter when you sit at the door. The pizzas were delicious as usual.

We were there as a group and I was the only one who came along. The group had already pre-ordered food so I waited for someone from service to come and take my order. But no one came for over 10 minutes and even after calling a service person, she said her colleague was responsible. But calling out her colleague was probably a bit too much to ask. Someone was constantly walking past but there was no eye contact. None of them were paying attention. Until we were finally able to wave someone over. I ordered a pizza and a drink. Everyone else has already received their food and drinks, which is nice since they ordered earlier than me. However, my food came without my drink. I then just started eating until I got halfway through my pizza and realized that it wasn't quite pleasant without a drink. Again we looked for a service person and again saw 3 service employees talking to each other. We tried several times to call one of the three to us, with eye contact and holding up a hand, but without success - we were miserably ignored, which I find really outrageous. 5 minutes later the colleague spontaneously came over and took my order and we then told him that my drink was missing. His answer: “Oh, it still hasn’t come?”… He then brought it straight away. I have nothing against him, he was super nice and when he was there he helped too. But I think it can't be the case if you call someone several times and someone doesn't come and check if everything is ok. The service gets 1 star from me. By the way, the store wasn't full! We were there around 11 p.m.

Here is my personal experience with L'Osteria on the Hanauer. What I can definitely say is that the restaurant is unsuitable for a larger group of people, both in terms of delivery and eating in. As a company, we have already ordered at least 5 times, but none of the orders were complete. In contrast, with other restaurants, there were never any problems, even larger orders. After all the ordering attempts, we decided to eat at the local restaurant in the hope that the orders would finally be complete. But here too. Both when ordering drinks and with the main courses, at least one person sat there without food or drink. But that was the positive part! Everything beyond the main course was, to be honest, a complete disaster. Drink orders or food/dessert orders had to be placed multiple times. And despite repeated attention, sometimes nothing was achieved. For example, after my main course, another main course was ordered, as well as two desserts. Neither the main course nor the two deserts arrived. The problem extended across the entire workforce. The great thing was that the orders that never arrived were also listed on the invoice... In short: If you go there with a group of up to 4 people, you probably won't have any problems! If you want to eat something as a group. Then we definitely advise against the restaurant! It's a waste of time, money and nerves! A little tip to the restaurant: Hire more people or organize yourself better as a team. In the long term, if you continue like this, you will lose customers. You could tell that the waiters were completely overwhelmed by how busy the restaurant was! Mistakes happen, but if sometimes less than 50% of the orders arrive and everything is still listed on the invoice, that's just plain rude!

A small deduction in the ambience. We were at the raised table at the entrance and it wasn't easy to have a conversation because the open space made the acoustics so difficult. And I would have liked to have removed the huge table lamps so that I could see everyone at the table 😅 they are a bit annoying. Food is very tasty, I'm glad you can eat the pizza. It's entertaining and the portion is actually enough for some people. The service was very friendly and, even though it was very busy, it was quick.

The first thing that greets you is a messy and dirty service station. It really doesn't have to be that way. The pizza is ok, but the dough definitely didn't rest enough. It is biscuit and is more reminiscent of tarte flambée dough. Generally OK but things are better in other L'osteria branches.

I went out now Carbonara was inedible it was the same Garlic and oil without cream as it was written on the menu eggs not even a trace, gnocchi the same as chips the waiters asked me if everything was ok, I replied not ok but no one came to the table he said ask what was wrong I paid and never come back

Below you can see how the dish was supposed to be served and how it was actually served. I have to admit that there were about 5-8 very small shrimps in there, but hardly anyone could see them. The sauce was warm (not as cold as in the picture) but so little that it didn't taste like anything. The noodles were hard. The seasonings like salt and pepper were apparently left out too. Therefore not recommended at all.

I ordered food here through Wolt. What I received was a disgrace. It was stated several times in the order that I had an allergy, but this was simply ignored. You just had to leave out the zucchini. In addition, my pasta Conchiglie di Fiume was delivered without crayfish. And that for €18.50?! I will never eat here again!!! Very poor service and poor value for money. It's better to look for a real Italian restaurant and not go to a chain restaurant.

A house with great tradition, Here you can eat very good Italian dishes and have the right drink to accompany it. A very good treat, if you are ever traveling on the Hanauer Landstrasse, stop off there. A nice rustic restaurant that invites you to come back.

Service catastrophic. Everyone is overwhelmed, no one knows what to do. Drinks last 45min plus. Food wise it is delicious but even that takes 1 hour to arrive. If you want to eat a quick Italian meal, this is the place for you. Sorry..

The pizzas are huge, paper-thin and incredibly tasty, with fresh ingredients and a great selection. The service was quick, friendly and attentive - you immediately feel welcome. We were guests in Frankfurt one evening as Hamburgers and spent the evening at L'Osteria. The restaurant is great, and perfect with Eduard as a waiter!! Eduard was friendly and EXTREMELY thoughtful! It's really very, very rare to have a waiter like that these days!!! His employer should definitely keep this treasure warm! So guests are very, very happy to come back. And you definitely don’t get that often these days!

Always busy here. We often only order for pickup. You can park easily on the side street. Pizza and pasta, as always at L Osteria, super delicious... the kids love it.

Incompetent. These days, customer service employees are probably just there as decoration. I ordered through Uber Eats and never received my pizza. The Uber Eats courier simply canceled the delivery out of whim, which L'Osteria can't do anything about, but L'Osteria is probably the first place I call to ask what happens next. Apparently there was no order under my name and they couldn't help me. Yeah, great. Money gone, food not arrived – perfect to start my Friday evening.

We went at night for dinner and were surprised by the giant, good quality pizzas. They have vegan options. A good place for a plan with friends.

We came here spontaneously last Sunday with 5 adults and 2 small children. The service deserves 10 stars! Our waitress was so attentive, took great care of the children, brought extra art supplies and a bib, and took her time with everything.. Really great :) Then our baby lost a sock on the way to changing and another colleague ran through the whole thing Restaurant and asked everywhere who it belonged to. Little things that made us very happy. Then to the essentials... the food: we had two pizzas, a pasta dish with pumpkin from the seasonal menu, one spinach pasta and one pasta with vegetable juliennes and crayfish in lobster sauce. Everything was absolutely great. Nothing to complain about at all. The portions were very good, the pizzas were huge and there was a small children's menu for children. You can park directly in the parking garage next door. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, cozy lighting and a great team. When we're back in Frankfurt, we'll definitely be happy to come back :)

I haven't eaten such delicious food in a long time, the beef melted in my mouth, the waitress was very professional, the atmosphere was wonderful, I recommend this place wholeheartedly, the homemade olive oil, I recommend it, it's exceptional

Pizzas are delicious and filling

We were welcomed very warmly and consideration was given to the fact that there were children there. We had a great and attentive service person at the table who really gave us a lovely evening. The children were given something to paint with, a children's menu and a bib; They took their time when ordering and were assured during the meal that everything was OK... unfortunately that's no longer a given these days! The food was also delicious and we went home very satisfied. We'd love to come back!
