Large pizza with far too little flavor, service seemed unfocused and incompetent, unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I waited 30 minutes for the drinks alone, even though it was empty and the drinks had been there for 10 minutes. I waited just as long for the bill.

I am big fan of L’Osteria chain and we definitely try wherever we find them. Very friendly and polite people at service here. Loved the overall vibes we got from the place. The three stars are only because of the failed Alio pasta. Was completely blunt, no sign of garlic and olive oil. To be honest the entire plate was returned as it came out from the kitchen. The staff was really helpful and she just took it back without any discussion. The wine bottle we took was just awesome. We were little sad to have returned the main dish. But I was not satisfied with our side dish too. May be we will try their authentic pizza next time. New review : We were here again in July 2025 This time we did order pizza. And all the pizzas were just amazing. We were happy with the taste and the service was also friendly.

A complete disaster: 1 salad - 1 pizza, 1 hour of waiting time 😅 We ordered food over the phone and were told there would be a 25-minute wait and a price of €26.50. However, when we got there, we discovered that our order hadn't been taken at all. Despite the promise, they then said they would have it ready in 10 minutes, and we ended up waiting another half hour. In addition, both pizza/salad dishes were missing important ingredients: The extra corn was missing from the salad we ordered, and the shrimp were forgotten in the Margherita pizza with shrimp – but we were still charged the full price. This price was actually higher than the quoted price (€30.45 instead of €26.50). Very disappointing experience – there is urgent need for improvement in service and organization.

Everything was great, but the music was unfortunately much too loud. According to the staff, this is unfortunately a company policy.

Overall, my visit to L'Osteria was very good – I'd give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. The food was excellent, and the service very friendly and polite. A small point deduction was due to a certain pressure just before closing time: It seemed a bit like everything had to be rushed so they could close promptly at 10 p.m. As someone in the restaurant industry, you'd recognize this immediately. Nevertheless: very good service, delicious food – highly recommended!

Unfortunately, our chicken BBQ wasn't as good as usual at Losteria. There weren't enough toppings, and the food was also too dry. The location is nice, and the service is friendly.

Unfortunately, we had a very, very bad experience there. We love Losteria. But this visit taught us otherwise, at least this location. We arrived there, and it was very, very quiet. The first server came, very friendly, and took everything in. Drinks arrived, and everything was great. 10 minutes later, she came and told us they had cooked the pasta and it didn't look good, whatever she meant by that. She asked if it was okay for me to cook a different kind of pasta. I agreed. About 20 minutes later, a family of five arrived. They ordered drinks and food. Another 20 minutes passed, and the family received their food. We still hadn't received anything. The family was almost finished eating. Unfortunately, we still hadn't received anything. When we politely inquired, the answer was that they were asking where the food was. This server then disappeared for another 15 minutes. After a questioning look from me to the lady, all I got was a response to another colleague: "Oh, can you please ask what's happening with the food at the table?" Another 15-20 minutes passed. Again, no one came and said anything. Then another waitress came by, and we politely asked her if she knew anything, since no one was telling us and no one was coming past our table anymore. Then, what felt like an eternity later, I turned toward the kitchen, and the waitress came around the corner with what I'd call an "ironic" laugh, carrying our food. We were so happy, grabbed our cutlery, and off we went. Then the next disappointment – ​​the pasta was lukewarm – even cold in places!!!! When we pointed this out, the waitress said she'd ask and have more made. Unfortunately, I had to decline, as we didn't have much time left. Since we had already waited over an hour and a half for our food, we were a bit pressed for time. We arrived on time and had plenty of time. But of course, they didn't want to wait forever again. They offered us a tiramisu to go. I declined, as the pasta wasn't even eaten because it was already cold. When paying, I pointed out to the lady that we wouldn't pay for the side salads because they hadn't even been brought. We were then told that the colleague hadn't even taken the receipt. Great, I thought. Everything that could have gone wrong during this visit!!! In the end, they waived the pasta from our bill. But we won't be visiting this restaurant again!

We ate here yesterday with work colleagues. You can sit inside or outside. This is a good place for larger group reservations. Unfortunately, the music was a bit loud... We ordered salad, pizza, and pasta. Everything was delicious. Value for money: good Conclusion: we'll be back 🙃

What a shame. It could have been a lovely evening, as the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the background music was way too loud, and the waiter was a disaster. The highlight was when, with the phone to his ear and loudly arguing with a customer, he rudely interrupted our table's internal conversation to crumple up the papers. He didn't seem to mind that my wife's cell phone flew to the floor in the process. The subsequent bill settlement was a story in itself. A shame, but not here.

Very tasty pizza, as you'd expect from L'Osteria. As always, the pizzas at L'Osteria are very large, but you can also order them as two halves with different toppings on two plates (so two people can eat them). The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, as you'd expect from L'Osteria, although the noise level might be a bit high. All in all, highly recommended!

A very tasty and huge pizza, which you can top with each half. The salads are also very fresh, delicious, and creative.

The pizza overhung the plate and was unappetizingly large. The vegetables were far too few and tasted of nothing. It only tasted of greasy, oily cheese. Since I didn't like the mineral water offered, I wanted to order tap water, which wasn't possible. The service unfortunately reinforced the bad impression. What a shame!

We ordered penne via delivery service. It was also very good, but the amount was ridiculous—it was literally 7 tablespoons, and that for €15. We won't be ordering from there again.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a concert in Aschaffenburg – and ended the evening at L'Osteria. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a young, friendly, and very pretty lady and shown to our table. When she wanted to take our order a few minutes later, things immediately got funny: She asked me why I was grinning like that – she probably thought I was laughing at her. My answer: "No, I just always smile, I'm in a good mood!" The ice was broken, and the atmosphere was great. The food arrived promptly and in the best L'Osteria style: large portions, superb quality. Especially recommended: the chili oil – it gives every dish that final kick. 🔥 What also struck us: The entire team was extremely friendly, not only to us, but also in their interactions with each other. This positive atmosphere is immediately noticeable – you simply feel welcome. Conclusion: We felt completely at home and would love to come back. And to the nice, sweet waitress: A promise is a promise – here's the completely positive review! 😉

I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The server was extremely unfriendly and seemed very annoyed, even with simple questions. Instead of a pleasant atmosphere, it felt like guests were more of a nuisance. Such disrespectful and rude behavior is completely inappropriate in the restaurant industry. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Even though the place was quite empty and several waiters were standing around without any duties, we simply weren't served. The waiters simply walked past us. After 25 minutes, we got up and left. No restaurant should allow this kind of service in these times! This was our last time at your place. It's a shame, we were looking forward to the food. There were also a lot of cobwebs on the windows above.

I've been collecting points in the L'Osteria app for a really long time because I was looking forward to a free pizza. Today I finally wanted to redeem them – but the request was simply rejected on the grounds that the scanner was broken. Instead of being understanding or offering a solution, the manager was also rude. That really put me off L'Osteria.

I'm currently sitting at L'Osteria with my boys, and we finally wanted to redeem the points we'd been saving up for so long. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to, which is really disappointing. We were looking forward to rewarding our loyalty, but the rules don't seem to allow it. This really put a damper on our evening. It's a shame, because otherwise the food and atmosphere here are actually great.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good. There were four of us, including my 9-year-old cousin, and we were simply handed the menu and the children's menu without a word. The waiter only looked at his phone while taking our orders. The pizzas were simply too big and a bit dry. A lot of flies and even a few wasps kept us busy eating inside.

I ordered a pizza there, but unfortunately, it wasn't sliced and it was cold. I paid almost 20 euros for it and had to wait about 55 minutes.

This L'Osteria is recommended. The food is good and comparable, just like the others. Despite a short-notice reservation, we got a table on the terrace. We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose a table since there weren't many people there, although this changed later. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. Very pleasant. The terrace outside has a small drawback: you sit right next to the street, and the noise somewhat spoils the ambiance. Inside, everything was clean, including the restrooms.

We ordered two pizzas, vegetarian pasta, and two salads. It wasn't busy that day; there were two tables outside, each with two guests. The pasta was too hard for me, so I didn't eat it. The pizza wasn't exactly Börner, but it was okay, just sparingly topping. In Darmstadt, we went to the same restaurant and ordered the same menu. The waitress was incredibly friendly; you get decent service there! Five stars recommended; it was 1,000 times better, and the taste was top-notch. In Aschaffenburg, the service was a bit rude, not to say rude. Unfortunately, L'Osteria in Aschaffenburg is not recommended in terms of taste or service. A beautiful city, but I won't eat there again.

The food and service were great, but what was annoying were the many mosquitoes in the restaurant that landed on our food. It's summer, and of course, nobody can help it, but they could put up or hang fly screens. Otherwise, everything was perfect; we'd love to come back!

That's about it. The food, as always, is excellent. My biggest criticism is that it's very noisy inside due to the structural limitations. I also don't like the fact that you can't reserve a table for the same day if you call. This has often put us off going there on the same day, and in the worst case scenario, we'd have to wait in line.

On my last visit, the food was phenomenal, but it was the waitress Jessica who made the experience perfect. I really enjoyed her charming manner, and she was also very accommodating and attentive to my every need.

It was – as expected – very tasty. However, I can confirm the reviews about the service staff. It took a very long time for us to place our order. They didn't ask if we needed anything else. After being asked to pay, we waited a good 15 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. That's a shame and spoils what should have been a positive dining experience.

Service was terrible. It was barely busy, three tables occupied, but we still had to wait 15 minutes for the waiter to come and take our drinks. Totally unfriendly. Even when it came to pay, the waiter only came after we asked for it twice and waited almost 15 minutes. We weren't even asked for a second drink. We were inside due to the high temperatures, where there are a lot of flies. The pizza doesn't really taste good when there are 20 flies flying around the food and you have to constantly shoo them away. Which is a shame, because it's actually quite delicious. Personally, I won't be back, which is entirely due to the service.

Unappetizingly large, hanging ungainly from the edge of the plate, and absolutely no flavor at all. We left three-quarters of the arugula and half of the salami pizza and didn't want to take them home in a box...and that's saying something. Sitting outside on the main street was also unpleasant.

However, they also turned off the music and lit the lights to signal the closing time. That was a shame, because our plates and glasses were still full. We found that a bit uncomfortable.

Super delicious and very large pizzas, very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere, especially for children, thanks to the open kitchen. There's a changing table for babies, where they even provide diapers and baby wipes. I've never seen anything like it before. Our food arrived almost faster than the drinks; there was little waiting time—really great. And there's a courtyard where, if you're on the terrace at the back, you can let the kids run around.

Unfortunately, our visit to La Osteria in Aschaffenburg was disappointing. The waiter was rude and unfriendly. Even when taking our order, he seemed stressed and noticeably pressed us to hurry. He remained impatient throughout the entire visit, which made the visit very unpleasant. And this despite the fact that it was only 2:00 p.m. – so no sign of stress due to an impending closing or anything like that. In addition, one of the dishes I ordered did not match what was described on the menu. I know exactly how this dish is prepared, as I've had it several times at other La Osteria branches – there it was always correct and delicious. In this case, however, it was disappointing and by no means up to the usual standard. It's a shame, because the restaurant actually offers a lovely ambiance and the potential for a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, this is overshadowed by poor service and a lack of care in the kitchen. I hope something changes soon.

We had heard good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Yesterday, we ate there as a family – four carbonaras, a salad, and a children's pasta dish. Shortly after leaving the restaurant, several of us experienced severe stomach aches, some even experiencing nausea and vomiting. The carbonara was also very dry and not according to the classic recipe – it was made with only cream, which was probably not fresh and probably made us sick. Unfortunately, after this experience, we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Super customer-friendly! I was promptly sent a replacement that was unfortunately missing from my order. Mistakes happen—we're all human. What matters is how they handle it, and that was absolutely fantastic here. Thumbs up—five stars, and we'll be happy to order again.

We entered L'Osteria with no expectations. We were served by Enza, and a very pleasant evening unfolded. The food was also very good; whether it was the appetizers, pasta, pizza, or dessert, it was all absolutely delicious! L'Osteria is now our restaurant of choice when we're in Aschaffenburg!

Exaggerated by the press and other reviews. It's still a normal pizza. Only the mandatory tipping system spoils the mood. You're forced to tip even if you weren't happy. You weren't happy because of the noise, the long wait times, and the servers' lack of willingness to simply serve the customer!

The restaurant was only half full during our visit, but no waiters came to take our order. After a quarter of an hour, we complained once, and shortly after, again – whereupon we were told that another table had already been waiting for half an hour and would now be served first. We left the pizzeria as hungry as we had arrived. Conclusion: Lord, throw restaurant sense from heaven…!

If I can put it that way, my experience at this establishment was very negative. At first, I was held up for work reasons, but my colleagues ordered a pizza for me so I could enjoy it there and then. I joined them at 9 p.m. and got my pizza straight away, but I was told that the establishment would be closing soon and I wouldn't be able to get a drink with it. After a long discussion, I finally got a drink, but we were still asked every 10 minutes whether we wanted to leave. Overall, the pizza was a real disappointment for an Italian restaurant. On top of that, the wine had a strong taste, so much so that the aftertaste went right through your bones. My conclusion about this establishment is that if you like to eat like a peasant while stressed out, you're probably in good hands here. You'll have to decide for yourself.

Good atmosphere with huge pizzas and delicious dishes - seasonal specials on a separate menu... During the week, there was plenty of space, both inside and outside. However, an outdoor area is located on a busy street, and smoking is permitted there. The service is prompt, friendly, and quick. However, it could have shown a bit more wine knowledge, especially since there's a special wine selection. The kitchen area is visible, and people go about their work there in a tidy manner. The restroom area deserves special mention. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant. Only! We would have preferred to return the glasses. Water surfaces, but also every glass.

I've eaten at this osteria a few times, but each time in a different city. This time I was in Aschaffenburg and was craving pizza. The location is nice and central, and even though the bus stop is right next to the terrace, it's quiet enough, although some background music was missing. Orders were taken quickly, but the service was good. By the end, we barely passed by because we were still thirsty, and no one came for more than 15 minutes... so we didn't order anything else. After asking for the bill, they took their time. What should have been a minute took about 10. Instead, other tables were given priority or cleaned, and there was no shortage of empty tables. The pizza itself, as always, was huge and very tasty, but the toppings were quite small. I ordered extra salami, and I still found it a bit small. As I said, it was still tasty, and you could hardly finish it all. Most of it is just the crust, but that's tasty too.
