L'Osteria Aschaffenburg in Aschaffenburg

The three of us met up for pizza on Sunday evening. We stood there at reception and waited for what felt like an eternity until someone from service came. The young man at the drinks counter apologized to us as we wanted to leave and said someone would be coming soon. So we stayed anyway. Although there wasn't much going on due to the Christmas market, we waited half an hour for the order to be taken. The table was then gradually set. Sometimes she came with the cutlery a few minutes later with the napkins again a few minutes later with the round place holders. That was annoying during our conversation. Can't you set the table all at once or set it in advance?? We had the pizza half topped. I had quattro formaggi and vegetariana. After another long wait, the food finally came. Unfortunately you really had to look for the topping, so little for this price and zero spices?! You just eat dough with a little tomato sauce and the whole thing is super bland. We expected something much better in such an atmosphere. But that's deceptive. It's such a shame, we definitely won't be coming back.

We went to L’Osteria Aschaffenburg as a group of friends and were initially thrilled: the food was delicious and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, our visit was marred as the evening progressed. While we were chatting after dinner and ordering another round of drinks, the boss pointed his finger at us several times. 10 minutes after our second order we were asked to leave because new guests were coming. This approach is not appropriate and completely overshadowed the positive impression of the food. Unfortunately, it's not possible to point the finger at guests.

At first there was a queue at the door as we entered. Our telephone reservation was not in the system. With the argument that we wanted to test eat for a possible Christmas party, we quickly got the table of guests who were 10 minutes late. The complaints about music being too loud, which have already cropped up here several times, don't seem to be taken particularly seriously, as promised in the reactions. A conversation was not possible due to the volume. During the sound check of the live music, the music from the tape continued to play in the background... It's a shame, considering that the food (in our case pizza) is delicious...the base is nice and thin and still crispy. Unfortunately, the Vegetariana was far too poorly served for the price-performance ratio and was more like a Magharitha. Yes, then the dough might not be as crispy, but it wasn't enough of a topping for us. What was great was that you could eat the pizza for two and get it on two plates. I also think the half/half option is great.

We have been living in Aschaffenburg since 2013 and as a family we always go to the pizzeria la'osteria in Aschaffenburg until now but the last time was really a fiasco!,,, Because, we had 2 pizzas to take away, one was with salami and the other was with champions and both had rocket on top, but unfortunately we experienced a very unpleasant disappointment from pizzas at home!... The pizzas weren't crispy at all but were extremely chewy and the rocket was very flimsy and looked like leftover mill! Although we paid 33.80 euros for the 2 pizzas to take away, we threw the pizzas away after a few bites at home! What a pity!.., now we expect regular guests to come back for more than a year without any ifs and buts and without excuses from the la'osteria, so that we can continue to eat at the la'osteria, although there are enough pizzerias in the Aschaffenburg area.! . P.S.; I'm now only writing for the people around Aschaffenburg. You can't expect a proper relationship from such an incorrect manager or manager anyway. Because, firstly, as soon as you are responsible for anything that goes wrong as a customer or, better said, as a juice customer, it's all just your fault, the employees of such a store don't accept yours anyway Mistake.. Secondly; Why is it your fault because you shouldn't invest time and money for such low-level and irresponsible people or employees!...

My daughter really enjoyed the food, she had a children's portion which was completely sufficient. We adults had a mega delicious pizza which was also very large, the others had pasta dishes. Unfortunately, because it was very full, the drinks came shortly after the meal Simply great, thank you dear team L'Osteria Aschaffenburg.

While the restaurant seems to host the same ambiance as other L'Osteria locations I have visited in Germany, I wish i could say the experience was as good. The service was slow and inefficient, and the food was prepared incorrectly (for example, my wife's dish should have had the rucola, not mine) and took a long time to be prepared despite the restaurant being nearly empty at the time, the coffee was lukewarm when it arrived and the waiter ignored my request for a printed receipt which he never brought. I was not impressed.

Very nice and competent service (Dodo and colleagues). The welcome was very friendly, the food was delicious, and a great atmosphere. We felt very comfortable.

What you need to know: is a franchise chain. The food is good. Not necessarily cheap in terms of price. The decor is great, but unfortunately the music is far too loud for a comfortable conversation.

On our way to Cologne-Bonn we made a stop in Aschaffenburg to have a spontaneous stop. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were immediately offered a spacious table. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, which made us feel very welcome. Our food arrived quickly and without a long wait. The atmosphere and spaciousness of the restaurant are very appealing, and the sanitary facilities are also well maintained and visually beautiful. The only small point of criticism: There were some small flies (probably fruit flies) in the room during the meal. Nevertheless, a recommended address if you are passing through and want to stop off quickly but pleasantly.

The food at L’Osteria is average. I find the staff intrusive, you can't sit where you want, but have to sit where the conditions dictate, even though the holiday tables are not reserved and have not yet been completely cleared up by the chairman. The staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Super delicious pasta, Orecchiette di Manzo Al Limone, highly recommended 👍🏼! There is also a great selection of aperitivi 👌🏼.

Unfortunately, we waited more than 40 minutes for our drinks as the store was almost empty. In addition, the pizzas unfortunately arrived cold, hard and with poor toppings. The service also took ages to arrive. I don't go here anymore.

We wanted a place for 6 people and we kept saying yes, just a few more minutes and unfortunately we had to wait forever with children. And then we only got a table for 4 🫣🤔😵‍💫 I don't understand!! And it was sooooo very loud that you couldn't even have a conversation. Music was OK but that was totally exaggerated. Food was very tasty

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment We were looking forward to a lovely evening at L’Osteria Aschaffenburg, but were bitterly disappointed. The male waiter was abysmally bad from the start. Not only were we brought the wrong food, but instead of politely clarifying the misunderstanding, the supposed boss accused us of saying it was our mistake. Unbelievable behavior that shows no customer orientation whatsoever. What was particularly shocking was how this boss behaved towards women - incredibly rude and disrespectful. His gestures and facial expressions gave us the unmistakable feeling that we were not welcome there. Instead of a professional clarification, he pointedly slammed his fist into his hand, which made us feel even more unwanted and unwelcome. This aggressive gesture was not only intimidating, but completely inappropriate in a restaurant. Instead of a solution or a friendly tone, we were treated with a condescending manner that is completely unacceptable. It is sad to see how little emphasis is placed on hospitality and decency. I expect professionalism and respect from a manager, neither of which was present here in any way. The error was subsequently corrected by a nice female service person, but this didn't save anything after such an evening. We are deeply disappointed and will definitely not recommend this place.

We entered the restaurant at 12pm sharp on weekdays. In the entire restaurant only 1 table was occupied by an older lady. So we (2 people) sat down at a table of four. Shortly afterwards a male waiter came and asked us to sit at a table for two. We did this and after a wait of about 15 minutes we ordered from a nice and courteous female waiter. We got our food after about an hour of waiting! In the meantime, a total of 4 tables were occupied, one of which was occupied by a group of 4 people. The rest were couples. The table for 4 that we selected at the beginning remained unoccupied throughout our entire stay (approx. 2 hours)! Unfortunately, the dishes were only mediocre. On a pasta, a burnt pepper made the entire sauce inedible. We will no longer visit this branch and are used to much better things from other locations. There is one star just for the friendly, female service. It's a shame, but that was really nothing...
