I went to Losteria with my wife for dinner today. The food was really good, but what truly stands out is the service! We were served by Bahar, and I have rarely experienced such professional, attentive, and friendly service. She made this evening truly special! Thank you, and keep up the great work! We've been visiting this osteria since it opened and come every week, sometimes several times a week. The dishes are fresh and delicious, and with the changing lunch menu, there's always something new to discover. We especially must commend the impeccable service from Nina and Alicia, who have been serving us with heartfelt hospitality and a smile for years. My group and I wholeheartedly recommend this osteria.

Warning: Scam! If you think you won't finish a whole pizza (the portion is large!), you should order a whole pizza, as you'll be charged the full price. The server won't tell you this beforehand! Easy tip for the restaurant, disappointment for the customer. If you ask why, you won't get an answer. Better to order a whole pizza and have half packed up. You won't feel so... cheated (to put it mildly) afterwards. 😔

The food and service are good. What bothered me immensely was the noise level. A relaxed atmosphere is clearly not the goal, and this is evident in the 90-minute reservation window. The dishes offered are good, but nothing special. All in all, I'd rather go back to my usual Italian restaurant around the corner, where I can chat at a comfortable volume in a relaxed atmosphere without constantly having to check the time.

Everything here is just perfect – location, staff, food, and portion sizes. Even when the place is packed, the service is outstanding! We were there as a couple and are thrilled with the experience 🤩 – 100% recommendation, chapeau! 👌

It was a very loud and crowded Sunday evening. One of the servers was incredibly attentive, even though she forgot to ask for payment. The pizzas are definitely the highlight of the place, but when almost no one finishes their food, I'd question whether it's really necessary. The tables in the lounge area were too small for eating, used dishes weren't cleared away, and new dishes were simply placed half on the used plates. There are better options.

The food was very tasty, but don't order spaghetti ice cream for five euros. You can get a proper one at the ice cream parlor, not a mini ice cream without cream.

I hadn't been to this pizzeria in ten years, and I really enjoyed it again. There were three of us, and we had a small table that was just big enough for three people. You should definitely make a reservation on a Saturday evening, as it was very busy. The atmosphere took some getting used to at first. Because of the enormous noise from the other diners, the music was barely audible, although the higher frequencies were particularly noticeable. Oddly enough, our food—appetizers, main courses, and desserts—was always delivered faster than our drink orders.

The only good things were the ready-made items, like the burrata and tomato. Carbonara with cream, super spicy seafood pasta, another pasta dish with cream broth, tiramisu without mascarpone… and the service was atrocious: one of the waiters was clearly high. A bottle of water cost €7.

Taste-wise, this was the best L'Osteria I've been to so far. The service was also great. The atmosphere, as always, was terrible. (It's always way too loud and chaotic there. Sorry.)

We'd been there three times, and everything had been perfect before. Now we were shocked. Of course, it was full, but that doesn't give any server the OK to stop coming to the table. It took a very long time for us to order. When our drinks finally arrived, we didn't see our server again, except from a distance. Unfortunately, the pizza was very disappointing this time. I would have liked to order something else, but that wasn't possible. After we were finished, we stood up after 20 minutes to pay. And then it seemed like the server was angry. She wanted to just leave without saying goodbye after we paid. We didn't get the bill either. If you're working in the kitchen, you should at least let the other employees know that they're looking after other tables. All the other servers definitely had a nice smile and were very friendly. That was the last time for us.

The food and service were fine, but positioning the cash register in such a way that there was an endless line of people between our table and the one next to us, who then coughed in our food, unfortunately ruined the whole experience.

Great quality food at reasonable prices.

It's been a long time since we were here for a family meal with teenagers aged 18/20. Unfortunately, things have gone down a bit here. It took a very long time for our four giant pizzas to arrive. The drinks came after the meal. "Unfortunately, we don't have anyone to bring the drinks around right now," said the pizza lady. The pizza crusts are now very dry and the pizzas at the next table were quite dark; I would have sent them back. None of the pizzas were particularly well seasoned. Even with garlic on them, it smelled better than it tasted. No seasoning. It's a shame, we drove 50km and had a reservation. It was also quite loud because it was very busy. We didn't get a chance to have a pleasant chat. So I don't need to go back here anytime soon. I remembered everything differently. I'm not a picky person, but for €100 you can expect a bit more from a pizza restaurant, not just the size of a pizza. Nobody asked for another drink either. The waiter was very hectic, even though he was trying to be funny. When paying by card, a 10% or 12% tip is automatically suggested, which is quite a lot for a larger sum. The waiter's hectic pace almost leads you to choose one of these options. There's also an inconspicuous "other amount" button, which takes a bit longer. In conclusion, we'll try a different restaurant next time, or perhaps the small Italian restaurant instead.

I was there with a group of nine people; we made a reservation in advance. The table was only prepared after we arrived (tables were pushed together). Our table was right by the door, which created an unpleasant draft. There was also an occasional unpleasant smell from the restrooms. The pizzas were good, as you'd expect from L'Osteria. However, the pumpkin risotto and tomato soup were completely lacking in flavor. After we got our food, not a single server came to our table. After several attempts to get our attention within 20 minutes to order more drinks, we went to the bar and got them ourselves. This is definitely not the case at other L'Osteria branches! We wouldn't visit this L'Osteria branch again.

The pizzas are great value for money. The shop has a rustic style.

On 4 October 2025 (at 20:00), we had a wonderful time at L’Osteria Hannover! The food, along with its presentation, was absolutely delightful, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service of the lady who served us in the main room on the left, at table 18 (“1 Hauptraum links, Tisch 18”). Her attentiveness, warmth, and genuine kindness made us feel truly valued as guests. Her thoughtful care and remarkable professionalism added an elegant touch to an already excellent evening. Dining here was an absolute pleasure!

The staff was extremely friendly. Very attentive and efficient. The food was delicious. The only downside was that the music was unbearably loud. You practically had to shout at each other to have a conversation. It felt like a disco. There was no real Italian flair.

This was my second time there. I have to say, the pizzas are amazing. They're truly wagon-wheel-sized and incredibly delicious. Our server, Baher (I hope that's spelled correctly), anticipated our every need. I'm happy to tip a little more for that. The only downside is the ambiance. When the place is full, it's very loud. It's like a market hall. We'll definitely be back, because the food and service are top-notch. And that's what matters.

Our order was taken quickly, and the drinks and food arrived promptly. The pizzas were really large but very tasty. Good value for money. Huge praise to the kitchen for its taste and speed. And also huge praise to the service. Superbly organized, very fast, and friendly. We will be back and recommend the restaurant without hesitation!

Nice location. Good parking. Unfortunately, the terrace is closed despite the good weather. Food is okay. It's as loud as a train station at the start of the school holidays. Unfortunately, there's a massive hygiene problem: - Waiters decorate pizzas after cashing in without washing their hands. - Pizza chef greets friends, etc., and then moves on to the pizza dough. No handwashing at all. - Too many "outsiders" with no hygiene measures in the food area. - Pizzas are hand-cut by the wait staff and then sent to the guests' tables. There's a lack of clear announcements and constant monitoring of the staff.

Very delicious food and truly attentive service! We went there today with 10 ten-year-olds for a birthday pizza and received very friendly service. We've been there many times and will definitely go back. A little constructive criticism for improving the service: Management needs to pay more attention to online reservations and perhaps respond to questions asked there. A timely booking confirmation would also be welcome. I would have preferred some sugar and a small glass of water with my espresso (like in Italy, without having to ask). Given how busy it is, that should be a given. Otherwise, L'Osteria Vahrenwalder Straße is top-notch!!!👍

Unfortunately, when offering a table selection next to a door that was ajar, the fact that this door led to the outside area was not disclosed. As a result, guests increasingly walked past the table, unknowingly leaving the door open, which made it uncomfortably cold, or caused the smoke to disturb their meal. Very friendly team - good service, and the food itself (pizza) is excellent - so we'd happily return!

This was the first time I've placed an online order to pick up food. The ordering platform is very clear and logically structured. Within a few minutes, the order was placed, paid via PayPal, and a pickup time selected. The pizzas were ready right on time and piping hot. The in-store pickup logistics were also well-organized, even though the store was packed. All in all: a great experience, great food—we'll be back. Mille grazie :)

Great concept, good food for a very reasonable price! Beautiful, fully converted industrial building, very atmospheric. A really nice and friendly young lady who helped us. Delicious dishes that far exceeded expectations in quantity and quality (45cm pizzas!!!). We had a really great time.

The Margarita pizza is too SPICY. It was always good, but now they grind freshly ground pepper on it as soon as it comes out of the oven, and the pizza is so SPICY you can't eat it. There was nothing else on the Margarita pizza, so why does the pizza have to be spicy?

Four of us went to L'Osteria Hannover Vahrenwald, and unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing – especially compared to previous, much better experiences. Positive: We got a table quickly despite it being full, the server was friendly, and we've always appreciated the place. The decor and atmosphere are really nice – it was actually our favorite L'Osteria. Negative: • Far too few staff for the size of the restaurant – we had to actively call the server to even order. • Very long wait for drinks, and instead of wine glasses, we were given water glasses because they supposedly had no more. Unprofessional for a restaurant of this category. • Two out of three pizzas were dry and not up to our usual standard, and the salad for €16 was very disappointing considering the price. • No apology or small concessions (e.g., an espresso on the house) for the wine mishap. We were regulars and always loved the pizzas – which makes this drop in quality and service all the more significant.

We ordered a chicken pizza, which was huge, splitting it in half. The iced tea was also made by the chain and was quite smooth. The pizza was relatively light, with a crispy crust and a pleasant, non-greasy feel. The decor was also unique, and parking was convenient outside. A good choice.

Yesterday, five of us went to Losteria in Vahrenwald. Unfortunately, it's absolutely not recommended. We ordered bruschetta and found a black hair. Then we found hair and plastic in three of our four pasta dishes. And finally, in our drinks... We explained everything. First, we were offered a coffee, then I asked them not to charge us for these things. We still had to pay for the drinks and the pasta, in which nothing was found, and it was absolutely impossible for us to continue eating.

Incredibly flexible and friendly service! My companion always wants a slightly different meal, and Bahar is always quick to accommodate every request. We're both always very satisfied and come back regularly! We've rarely been served so well! This woman knows what she's doing!

How can there be such a big difference between the staff and preparation times in Garbsen and Hanover? Garbsen is top-notch, Hanover is sub-par.
