L'Osteria in Hannover

I can only agree with most of the previous speakers... The atmosphere is very stylish, the employees are without exception very friendly and the pizzas are absolutely amazing. I have never been disappointed there! Even the food came relatively quickly, considering the store was completely full (Friday evening at 7 p.m.). I've always wanted to try a pasta dish, but I just can't get past the pizzas, they're that good.🤷 Clear recommendation!!!

Unfortunately the acoustics in the restaurant are not good. With so many guests, it's hard to have a conversation because the overall noise level is very high.

I had dinner there with work colleagues. The pizzas there are really giant cartwheels. Out of 8 people, half managed to eat the pizza because it was so huge. The pizzas were very tasty, but unfortunately they get cold very quickly, so you have to eat the last quarter of the pizza cold, even if you are quick. Otherwise, l'Osteria is highly recommended.

Great restaurant in a rather "unremarkable" area. Very nice staff. The pizza we ordered was huge and tasted excellent. Additional plus. You can order the pizza half and half. That means different toppings for each half. I will definitely visit L'Osteria again.

This was my third time here as a visitor to Hanover. This time I didn't have any of the huge pizzas but a salad with chicken strips. I felt full and it tasted very good. The service was friendly and looked after us very well. It certainly wasn't my last visit here.

Better than expected. Great service, fast, friendly and yet individually responsive to the guests. The salad was great, the pizza was delicious and the cappuccino was sensational.

There were three of us there. There is a sign at reception telling you to wait a moment and then you will be assigned a nice seat. This is not true, as we waited there for 5 minutes until an employee came up to us and we were assigned a place between the cash register and the fire extinguisher. When we ordered we continued: an iced peach tea and a lasagne. Neither was possible and ultimately I was forced to have iced lemon tea and spaghetti Bolognese. Iced tea was still good, as was Bolognese, but not outstanding. Still very okay in terms of price. However, I don't really understand why spaghetti carbonara with cream is on the menu in a restaurant that presents itself as so traditionally Italian.

It had a pleasant and lovely atmosphere. The pizza and pasta we ordered, aside from the taste and quality, were very large and substantial. Most importantly, the beautiful and kind waitress was very friendly and gave us great advice on what to order. I will definitely go there again on my next trip to Hanover.

Pizza is delicious by German standards ☺️

Delivery was unfortunately a disaster, ordered at 8:30 p.m. in the afternoon, and the pizza finally arrived at 9 p.m., unfortunately almost cold, as the driver had been on the tour with the pizza since 8:15 p.m. (we live about 5 minutes away by car ....). Previously, when I asked on the phone whether the pizza was still coming, the staff was completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. Never again....

Here you can still get what is a family pizza at an Italian restaurant than a normal pizza that thinks outside the box. We had the offer of the day. Half a pizza with pumpkin, apple, onions and creme fraiche. Another half from each card. Taste OK, I would have liked more spices. Despite our long bike ride, we didn't manage to get the pizza. This would be seen and a box would be given to take away the leftovers. Very attentive staff. We were outside and the insects were a bit annoying. After 25 years on the market still the same quality, keep it up!

Very nice service, attentive and quick. The quality of the food is good, as I know it from L’Osteria. The restaurant is on the ground floor and offers free parking.

Rustic atmosphere, the staff very attentive and friendly. The toilets very clean. The pizza was a poem and one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Quality ingredients, well topped and perfectly baked, wonderful! The espresso was also simply good. I can recommend the Osteria and am already looking forward to my next visit!

I love the shop and eat here very often with my wife. Of course I always take the pizza, it's the most worth it. The service is always super friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food. The price is also completely clear. The ambience is very nice, especially with the giant tower next to it. Therefore 5 stars from me.

The pizzas are great and given their size, 2 pizzas are enough for 3 people. It's nice that the respective pizza halves can be topped differently for more variety. The industrial-chic atmosphere of the building is great, but the volume of the music is a disaster. Therefore, it is highly recommended to sit outside when the weather is good. The service is very inconsistent, last visit very inattentive and disorganized, even though it was relatively empty. Things were better on previous visits.

Very close to the route to Berlin. There were a lot of people on Sunday and the place seemed to be packed, but the staff quickly found us a table and we placed our order. Considering so many guests, the project was completed in good time. Very large pizzas, with thin, slightly crispy dough. Penne arabiata appropriately spicy and hot, pasta cooked al dente. Risotto with mushrooms is delicious. The restaurant maintains a certain level, the service is good, the food too, I prefer more intimate places, but I recommend it.

We were in the restaurant with 4 people in the evening. The reservation was possible without any problems via the Internet. The pizzas are huge. The halves can be filled differently. The ambience is excellent, perhaps a bit too loud. Parking is not as easy as you would imagine.

I've been here a few times now. The ambience is great and the decor is very inviting. We were there with over 20 p. (reservation required at lunchtime) and received our pizzas quickly but not at the same time. Tastes very good! However, prices have been increased. The service was very good! Delicious pasta, nice service. Premises similar to other L'osteria restaurants. The only drawback was that the women's toilet didn't have an outside door, but I think that was just a current problem and will hopefully be fixed.

Essen 5/5 Die Pizza war wie erwartet. Groß, lecker und auf den Punkt gebacken. Der Pizzarand war sehr zu genießen! Oft ist dieser in anderen L‘osteria Lokalen etwas zu dunkel und dadurch zu knusprig und es bilden sich riesige Luftblasen. Service 5/5 Die Bedienung war sehr lustig drauf, zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Alle Wünsche wurden zu unserer Zufriedenheit umgesetzt. Ambiente 5/5 Die Einrichtung gefällt mir außerordentlich gut und spiegelt das Lokal perfekt wieder. Für zwei bis drei Stunden lässt es sich auf deren Stühlen und Bänken gut sitzen. Auch die Toilette ist geräumig, stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lautstärke der Musik ist angenehm. Wir konnten uns gut unterhalten, dennoch konnten die Tischnachbarn unseren Gesprächen nicht lauschen.

We ate there for the first time today and we were thrilled 🤩 my son (3) ordered a pizza with pasta, the waiter made everything possible so that he got this pizza. My salad with scampis was super tasty, my husband was very happy with the giant pizza and my older son was happy with his spaghetti carbonara. We were asked several times if everything was OK! Super great service and always worth a visit 🥰

Had a very good meal here yesterday. Danger. Pizza is huge and very tasty. I also recommend the chili oil. Completes the whole thing wonderfully. We had 2x pizza, 1x salad plate and 1x pasta. Everyone was super full and happy. The homemade lemonade also tastes very good. 4 people with drinks 85 euros. Absolutely ok in terms of price. Summarized: I can recommend a stop here.

If you come here, it takes 45 minutes just for the pizza to arrive. If you think we have time, we are open to goygo, we can chat and eat without rushing, nice environment makes sense.

Whether pizzas or pasta dishes, everything tastes extremely flat, even delivery services can taste better. The pizzas are so huge that they are cold before you get halfway through.

Went to a concert in Hanover and went out to eat on the recommendation of the hotel staff. Even though it is a franchise restaurant, we were surprised by everyone. Location, service and more importantly the food. The pasta dishes were good and still hot compared to other places. I highly recommend it!

What is particularly positive is the always friendly and courteous service. The small outdoor playground can also be mentioned positively. The food is always delicious and served quickly.

Unfortunately it wasn't a successful birthday dinner. After receiving the food, we wanted to help ourselves to the parmesan/hard cheese, which unfortunately smelled very strange and in which small green lumps were visible. At that point, something had already been said about it. Not a problem in itself. We tried to make the service staff aware of this in a friendly and discreet manner so that we did not draw attention to the problem. It can happen sometimes. The first one (relatively new) tried to take care of it in a friendly manner. The second person who saw him do this defiantly claimed that it wasn't mold but Gorgonzola (?). Which is problematic because it is not vegetarian and is advertised as such on social media by L'Osteria (as a hard cheese, not Parmesan, especially since we've been to so many locations and never had this problem before). We tried to explain that a new bowl wasn't particularly necessary and that we didn't want any new food, since it was only a small corner and we just wanted to point that out so that no major problems arise. Then 30 seconds later a smaller, younger lady came along and with the utmost “friendliness” slammed a small jar of new Parmesan right in front of my nose. We found it quite unnecessary and reduced the appetite.

17 minutes to the first beer, 19 minutes to the pizza, 20 minutes to the cutlery. ... It takes less than a minute to pay.

The pizzas were great, very tasty and had great toppings. The service we had was simply great, many people in the catering sector could take a big leaf out of it. All in all a great evening.
