Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat because we were discreetly ignored when we arrived and stupidly left standing in the doorway. When this happens often, you're surprised when a good restaurant closes. Maybe the summer was so good that there is no need to serve guests in November.

We went here for lunch on a motorcycle tour. The reception and service were very friendly and willing to have fun. Be sure to make a reservation as there are many buses stopping by.

At my time it was totally overcrowded with 2 coaches that had already had their food and were ready. Even though there were only two of us, we were turned away because a bus was now coming. Waiter totally overwhelmed because probably alone. But there were a lot of individual places available. We just wanted to eat something briefly and then drive on. This can also scare away guests. I definitely won't be asking there again.

Visited for lunch on September 9, 2024, with a group tour. The sausages are delicious. One side of the pig's feet is dry and the other side is normal. The pig skin is crispy and delicious. The boss can sing Taiwanese songs. He is very hospitable and cute. You can see it from the window. Rhine river, beautiful scenery

There is nothing on any plate just for the sake of appearance. Everything has a meaning, is reserved and pure.

Downstairs is a duty-free shop selling duty-free goods. This time I enjoyed authentic German pig's feet. There are many boat rides nearby, so you can take a boat ride and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rhine River.

Our visit to this restaurant on the Loreley was a completely successful experience. The combination of fantastic food, first class service and the picturesque location make this restaurant a great experience. It is the ideal place for a special occasion or just to indulge in culinary delights. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Loreley.

The biggest selling point of the restaurant is that it faces Lorelei Rock. The price and direct tax refund discounts in the souvenir shop on the first floor are the second selling point. The owner and his wife can speak Chinese is the third selling point. The rice for the main meal has clear grains and is not sticky, which is not what I am used to. The chicken breast has some texture, and the lettuce and salad vegetables are crunchy, which is not bad. This is a restaurant you can visit if you want to enjoy the view and buy something.

German pig trotters taste like Taiwanese pork rice

End of December 2017 This should be regarded as the first meal in Germany. When you arrive in Germany, you have to eat German pig's feet, but its cooking method is different from Taiwan. In Taiwan, it is grilled, but the local method is to braise it, so the texture is soft. The sauerkraut that comes with it is delicious, and it goes perfectly with a glass of dark beer! I'm just curious as to why European dark beer doesn't have a Chinese medicinal flavor, but the Chinese medicinal flavor imported to Taiwan is too heavy (not tasty). Because the pig's feet are quite big, I am a slow eater and finished them in a very limited time. Most of the group members probably left a lot because they were not used to eating, which is a pity!

A great restaurant at the foot of the Loreley. Even when it's busy, the staff is super friendly and super fast. The food is always TOP. Today rump steak with fries and salad was a revelation, as was the ox breast.

We are currently at the nearby campsite and had reserved a table for two people for today (holiday). Even though four coaches had arrived, we were assigned our table as agreed. Of course, after the four coaches arrived, there was a lot going on and something for the team to do. But despite the hectic pace and the “mass rush”, everyone was super nice, friendly and still had a funny saying in store. The food came quickly and was great. (we had grilled knuckles) Price-performance ratio was more than given. At the end the chef (owner?) came and asked the guests at the table if everything was to their satisfaction. You hardly find anything like that in German gastronomy anymore, especially with such a crazy “rush”. As a bonus to everything already mentioned, there is the indescribable location with a direct view of the Loreley field massif. All in all: definitely a must visit if you are in the area. Many thanks again to the entire team… you are really great.

Very nicely located on the Rhine with a great view of the Lorelei and the surrounding area. Definitely worth it - the food is very good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The only restaurant on the way, if you go on a tour you can order your food beforehand so that when you arrive it is ready. I ordered the sausage and it is very good!!! They speak Spanish in the place and also a pretty good store!! I do recommend buying there or you will regret it if you don't find things later, unless you are in Germany for many days.

The view is very beautiful. But the coffee could be better. It seems like it was made with tourists in mind. We drank once while passing through, there won’t be another time. Very unpleasant. I would like to enjoy not only the view, but also the drink. Everything should be beautiful.

Un excelente lugar para comer, los platillos tienen buen sazón, te recomiendo que reserves con tiempo tu estancia y de preferencia si son muchas personas o un grupo reserves los mismos platillos qué consumiras, no olvides aprovechar los souvenirs que se encuentran en la planta baja, ya que son económicos en comparación a otros destinos.

De lo más rico que probe en Alemania, en precio accesible, el pescado delicioso y la coca bien fría, el pollo frito 6/10 pero en general las papas son ricas. A lado del restaurante hay una tienda de souvenirs con buenos precios. Muy recomendable.

Esperaba más de la comida. Un platillo con salchicha y patas fritas esperaba encontrar salchicha más grande o con menos sabor.

Das Essen war einmalig es gibt zwar keine große Speise Karte aber dafür war das Essen fantastisch und richtig lecken ein großes Lob an den Koch... ich kann nur den Aussenbereich bewerten dieser war normal nichts besonderes. Aber schon alleine der Blick auf den Rhein und die Loreley ist sehr schön.

Loved the boat cruise and informative guide

Eins vorab, super freundliche Bedienung ( Chefin, glaube ich) leider geht aus der HP nicht hervor das es im Grunde überwiegend ein Lokal für den Mittagstisch ist, auch bei der Tischbestellung wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen. Dann wären wir wahrscheinlich nicht dort hingegangen. Aber letztendlich war es egal, da wir mit der Erlaubnis auf der Terrasse sitzen bleiben durften. Wir wurden noch mit Getränke versorgt und konnten so bis 22.30 Uhr einen schönen Abend verbringen. Daher war die Öffnungszeit nicht mehr so Wichtig 😉😉 daher gilt unser Dank der Familie das sie super freundlich und kulant waren, dieses gilt natürlich auch für den Chef und der Tochter des Hauses . Vielen Dank 🙏

Das Essen, die Aussicht und die Aufmerksamkeit sind gut. Die Zubereitung des Chamorro braucht Zeit, ich finde ein bisschen zu lang. Ich kann nur sagen Fahrt hin und macht euch selbst ein Bild Man sitzt gegenüber vom Loreleyfelsen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und der Chef sowieso.

Accueil très sympathique, le patron se met en quatre pour nous traduire le menu en français et en anglais. Les plats sont copieux et bons. De plus, nous avons eu une table qui donne directement sur le rocher de la loreley, nous permettant de regarder le balai des péniches sur le Rhin. Je vous recommande ce restaurant.

Auf unserer Fahrradtour durch das Rheintal haben wir uns entschlossen in diesem Restaurant zu frühstücken, was dort nicht üblich ist. Sie haben es uns aber möglich gemacht. Wir wurden königlich bedient, das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Blick auf den Loreley-Felsen unschlagbar. Es war ganz toll. Danke

Wir wollten einheimische Produkte essen...haben wir....Weißwein vom Gut Bacharach getrunken...dumm nur das die Bedienung keine Ahnung vom Job hatte...Das erste Glas war aus Flasche vom Vortag oder noch älter...das zweite Glas nach Öffnung neuer Flasche der Hammer...Essen war top..tolle Küche!!! Als Abschluss wollte ich den Aquavit auf Karte bestellen..Bedienung wusste nicht was Aquavit ist und brachte Obstler!!!!Schade das wir so wenig Fachpersonal in diesem Land haben

Wir waren Pfingstsonntag mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kinder im Restaurant. Wegen Coronaauflagen hatten wie einen Tisch auf der Terrasse vorab reserviert. Das online Reservierungssystem machte etwas technische Probleme aber das Restaurant meldete sich gleich telefonisch. Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch wie das Essen an so einem Touristenhotspot sein wird, das von seiner Lage gegenüber der Loreley lebt. Es waren aber alle sehr zufrieden mit Qualität und Portionsgrösse. Die Kinder bekamen zuerst ihre Schnitzel mit Pommes un kleinem Salat, den sie zu unserer Überraschung aufassen obwohl Salat sonst nicht weit oben auf der Wunschliste steht. Service war schnell, effizient und freundlich. Die Speisekarte nach Restart zwar eingeschränkt aber Mit Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, Rinderroulade oder Forelle für jeden etwas dabei. Wir waren wirklich sehr positiv überrascht, trotz der touristischen Lage gutbürgerliche deutsche Küche zu fairen Preisen zu erhalten. Das Wilkommensgerränk, das auf dee Speisekarte angeboten war, wurde auf Nachfrage dann als Kaffee oder Espresso angeboten. Ich würde eher mit der Nachbarvinorhek einen Deal machen ein Glas Winzersekt zur Begrüßung anzubieten oder ganz runter nehmen und eher eine Überraschung anbieten...

Das Essen ging so, man darf eben nicht zu viel erwarten von einem Ausflugsziel...Wir sind dann weiter gefahren und haben die engste Gasse besucht. Mit Weinprobe und geselligem Zusammensein. Einfach ein Dorf weiter Rhein aufwärts....viel Spaß... und Gute Laune...

Tolles Ambiente, atemberaubender Ausblick, viel Platz, nette Bedienung und toller (bärtiger) Koch! Ein absolutes Highlight ist der Shop im unteren Stockwerk, ein echter Geheimtipp! Muss man besucht haben! Toll 👏 !

Stopped for coffee and cake with a group while traveling. Fabulous location right on the Rhine opposite the Loreley rock. Lots of parking. Restaurant is on two levels and we all went on the balcony. Cake was great and food others had also was good. Great place to stop, but very busy and lots of coaches.

We had a set menu of vegetable soup, salad, pork leg roast, and pudding. We sat on the second-floor indoor section and can see the Rhine and the surrounding hillsides.

胖媽媽母子倆非常風趣,中文說的ㄧ級溜,他 們的餐廳在當地也很有名~~ ㄧ樓是販賣部,好喝的冰酒,各式各樣的禮品、精油、廚房用品、德國食品......, 餐廳在二樓,對面就是羅蕾萊岩石,視野景觀超棒,餐食也不錯! 我們享用的是<燒鵝風味餐>,甜點是用新鮮蘋果烤製而成,非常好吃~~

I had not researched this place - but it looked good so took a chance. Now that I have read other comments, I agree with most of them. A sensational location with wonderful views over the Rhine and the Loreley. A very good menu of mainly local specialities, all reasonable priced and well cooked with good portions. A good selection of local wines. Excellent and friendly service. What more do you need!`?

Good location, the view was very nice and the food was delicious and service was very friendly. We ordered lunch which was delicious, everyone in our group was satisfied with their order. midrange prices , clean toilets. Comfortable seating , the ice-cream variety could be better.

Visited there in August 2017. The restaurant is clean and the location is very nice. Good view over the river. We had lunch there and it was not so good. There were very friendly and also they brought water for our dog. The souvenir shop they have is quit expensive, they do have a lot but local shops are cheaper.
