We had booked a table there as a group. The tarte flambée is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the mushroom sauce with my schnitzel wasn't particularly tasty. Hence only 3 stars. Friendly service. Since we ate upstairs, it was also quiet.

First of all, a huge compliment to Ms. Theiss and her team for the excellent organization! The food and drinks service ran smoothly and like clockwork. The staff were super friendly and patient. The food was delicious and plentiful. As a special treat, we received a great tip for dinner, which was topped off by Ms. Theiss even making a table reservation for us. Thank you again so much for the tip and your efforts. It's great to know there are still such good hosts. We had a great time with you! See you next time!

A fantastic restaurant at the foot of the Loreley. Even at peak times, the staff is super friendly and super fast. The food is always top-notch. Today, the pork knuckle with fries (they were out of potatoes) and cabbage was a revelation, as was the trout in almond butter with potatoes and salad.

An ideal place for a stopover in the Rhine Valley. Right across from Loreley Rock. Excellent German food (pork knuckle, sausage, apple strudel, Black Forest gateau) and excellent service from Peter and his team. They also have a souvenir shop and typical Rhine Valley wine.

This restaurant was the place for dinner one day during our group tour in Germany. Before coming to this restaurant, we had just finished a one-hour Rhine River ferry trip. This ferry trip was just an experience activity, and it ended in a flash! Lorelai Restaurant is located on the banks of the Rhine River and is a restaurant famous for its German pork knuckle. According to the Taiwanese tour leader, this restaurant is a must-visit restaurant for many Taiwanese travel agencies planning group tours in Germany. Because of this, the owner of this restaurant opened a well-known German souvenir shop next to the restaurant to facilitate Taiwanese tourists who come to dine. According to the group members, the prices of goods here are higher than those on the market. Our main course for dinner at this restaurant on the banks of the Rhine is German pork knuckle. When the waiter brought the German pork knuckle, the group members' eyes were wide open! This German pork knuckle is a bit too big! There were 16 members in our group, but only about 5 of them finished eating it. They felt very full, and the pork knuckle (fried first) tasted very good, with crispy skin and tender meat, very delicious! Disappointing experience at Panorama Restaurant Loreley Unfortunately, I have to say that my visit to the Panorama Restaurant Loreley was anything but pleasant. I have already been turned away at the door three times - and each time in a less than friendly manner. I was advised to call ahead, but unfortunately the phone line is always just a voicemail and no one responds to calls back. Apparently there seems to be no interest in individual guests in the restaurant. I had the impression that you were only welcome if you drove up with a bus full of tourists. Anything else makes you feel unwanted. Despite the beautiful view and the good location, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, this experience destroyed any desire to visit again. It's a shame that the Panorama Restaurant Loreley places so little value on personal contact and obviously only prefers large groups.

I go there several times a year to either chat with the boss and grab a bite to eat. Food is very good and tastes good. Service is friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat because we were discreetly ignored when we arrived and stupidly left standing in the doorway. When this happens often, you're surprised when a good restaurant closes. Maybe the summer was so good that there is no need to serve guests in November.

We went here for lunch on a motorcycle tour. The reception and service were very friendly and willing to have fun. Be sure to make a reservation as there are many buses stopping by.

At my time it was totally overcrowded with 2 coaches that had already had their food and were ready. Even though there were only two of us, we were turned away because a bus was now coming. Waiter totally overwhelmed because probably alone. But there were a lot of individual places available. We just wanted to eat something briefly and then drive on. This can also scare away guests. I definitely won't be asking there again.

Visited for lunch on September 9, 2024, with a group tour. The sausages are delicious. One side of the pig's feet is dry and the other side is normal. The pig skin is crispy and delicious. The boss can sing Taiwanese songs. He is very hospitable and cute. You can see it from the window. Rhine river, beautiful scenery

Our visit to this restaurant on the Loreley was a completely successful experience. The combination of fantastic food, first class service and the picturesque location make this restaurant a great experience. The biggest selling point of the restaurant is that it faces Lorelei Rock. The price and direct tax refund discounts in the souvenir shop on the first floor are the second selling point. The owner and his wife can speak Chinese is the third selling point. The rice for the main meal has clear grains and is not sticky, which is not what I am used to. The chicken breast has some texture, and the lettuce and salad vegetables are crunchy, which is not bad. This is a restaurant you can visit if you want to enjoy the view and buy something.

German pig trotters taste like Taiwanese pork rice

End of December 2017 This should be regarded as the first meal in Germany. When you arrive in Germany, you have to eat German pig's feet, but its cooking method is different from Taiwan. In Taiwan, it is grilled, but the local method is to braise it, so the texture is soft. The sauerkraut that comes with it is delicious, and it goes perfectly with a glass of dark beer! I'm just curious as to why European dark beer doesn't have a Chinese medicinal flavor, but the Chinese medicinal flavor imported to Taiwan is too heavy (not tasty). Because the pig's feet are quite big, I am a slow eater and finished them in a very limited time. Most of the group members probably left a lot because they were not used to eating, which is a pity!

We are currently at the nearby campsite and had reserved a table for two people for today (holiday). Even though four coaches had arrived, we were assigned our table as agreed. Of course, after the four coaches arrived, there was a lot going on and something for the team to do. But despite the hectic pace and the “mass rush”, everyone was super nice, friendly and still had a funny saying in store. The food came quickly and was great. (we had grilled knuckles) Price-performance ratio was more than given. At the end the chef (owner?) came and asked the guests at the table if everything was to their satisfaction. You hardly find anything like that in German gastronomy anymore, especially with such a crazy “rush”. As a bonus to everything already mentioned, there is the indescribable location with a direct view of the Loreley field massif. All in all: definitely a must visit if you are in the area. Many thanks again to the entire team… you are really great.

The only restaurant on the way, if you go on a tour you can order your food beforehand so that when you arrive it is ready. I ordered the sausage and it is very good!!! They speak Spanish in the place and also a pretty good store!! I do recommend buying there or you will regret it if you don't find things later, unless you are in Germany for many days.

The view is very beautiful. But the coffee could be better. It seems like it was made with tourists in mind. We drank once while passing through, there won’t be another time. Very unpleasant. I would like to enjoy not only the view, but also the drink. Everything should be beautiful.
