Very friendly service and very tasty food

If you want veggie, come here! A nice menu, a nice restaurant, the service is always very friendly and the food is very tasty 😋. When I feel like potatoes, Lord is always my first choice. It's a little insider tip in Dortmund 😉.

The former potato lord (today: Lord) has been around for ages. And it is still a top recommendation from me to eat an 'Arabic' there. Incredibly delicious!

The man who sold us the Arabic was very nice and also accommodated the request for "extra spicy", although the Arabic no longer has anything to do with an Arabic that I remember from 20 years ago. The recipe was deviated from as much as possible until the dish was no longer recognizable. It's a shame, I used to love Arabic...

Seriously: Arabique at Potato-Lord in Dortmund is the best food I've ever eaten (it's even vegan, but that's beside the point). I've loved it for over 15 years! Whenever I'm in Dortmund, I go by there. They have their own recipe for the marinade. I definitely recommend everyone to try it...the sweet potato fries are also great!

We were really impressed by the selection of dishes and the Arabic cuisine, the fact that organic products were sold and there were also many vegan options, but unfortunately the staff was a bit unfriendly and hardly said anything. We ordered a wrap, a falafel plate and a soy protein plate. Unfortunately, the portions were very small and none of us were full at the end. The wrap was tasty, but I missed the freshness, the salad was completely mushy because the sauce was too hot when filling it. Falaffels didn't seem fresh.

Very nice restaurant and very tasty food. The portions could be a bit more generous - especially given the price! Self service is the order of the day here and it works really well. You should only know your menu better at the counter - does the burger menu include a drink or not...

Falafel were soggy, warmed up for a short time, wrap wasn't crispy either. Onions inside, even though canceled. In short: big disappointment

Before you go to the toilet you have to order otherwise the toilet is defective :-) I really can't recommend it

The best restaurant if you want a quick, vegan and healthy meal full of protein for a fair price. The bread is made by them. I also like their sauces. The use of soy as a meat alternative is great. Toasting the wrap would prevent it from falling apart and the toilet could have paper towels to dry your hands. I don't have other complaints. I like to support a family business.

Food ok but totally overpriced. Employees not very attentive. You have to wait a long time to place an order even though there isn't much going on. Ambiance is good for a Brückstraße snack bar. Unfortunately my son had quite a stomach problem after the fries :(

Price/performance is completely fine. Don't get annoyed when you sit at the table because the rule here is: self-service! But that's not a problem at all, as the walking distance is short. We were here spontaneously for the first time today but not the last time. Kind regards 🤗

Fantastic food. The vegan “Arabic” sandwich is truly unique and is closely linked to Dortmund for vegans from the entire region (including Münster). Delicious food, nice people behind the counter, simple and pleasant atmosphere and seating with a view of the busy Brückstrasse. My absolute go-to place.

Unfortunately the restaurant has fallen into disrepair. Wraps very thinly filled, very dry and very expensive. It used to be so delicious and special. The sauces were always so good, you don't notice much of it. Service was rather accommodating even though there was nothing going on. A pity…. But I'd rather go somewhere else.

We just love it. Vegan/vegetarian. Everything is delicious❤️ We have been eating there in the third generation for 30 years and we are not vegans. We liked the Potato Lord when it was a small place and now that it has expanded, you can already see the attention to detail in the furnishings. Let's hope for further generations. Bon appetit 😊

I tried the Arabic wrap - very, very tasty. I thought the price was good. Very nice staff. When I took my order, I didn't understand all of the questions; it was a little too quick and quiet for me (I'm in my mid-30s). Maybe it was because the colleague had headphones in his ear? Overall: clear recommendation!

25 years ago I discovered Arabic in a small snack bar. A miracle back then - a vegan snack and also incredibly delicious! Out of nostalgia, I went to “Lord” on Monday to eat Arabic again. It was still just as delicious as it was back then! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Dortmund!

The arabic wrap was soaked in sauce (a lot of it was already falling apart) they charged a warp too much, which couldn't be canceled, and the sweet potato fries were over-seasoned. Would actually not recommend it.

Had Arabic roll and the Beyond Burger menu. The roll was very tasty and tasted fresh. Unfortunately, the burger menu didn't have enough fries for the price. Service super nice 😊

Quick and tasty... Price-performance top

Microwave potatoes 2 potatoes with herb butter and cheese 15.60€! 1 coke €3. Since none were probably cooked, they were taken out of the oven 10 minutes after ordering and asking and put in the microwave! Baked potatoes are different. The taste? Just like microwaved potatoes taste - not good!

Never again! Both in terms of the prices and the portion size, it's just a rip off of customers. For a whopping €7.20 I got an Arabic in a musty-tasting flat dough, filled as thin as possible, approx. 3cm in diameter, see photo. Just cheeky.

18.50 for 2 wraps (Arabic and Halloumi) and an ayran. The bread was dry, especially the halloumi wrap was hardly seasoned. Both very mediocre in taste. One of the employees simply threw a finished wrap in the trash instead of giving it to someone (it was probably the wrong wrap). The employees generally seem lethargic and in a bad mood. Nene wasn't good.

Superb spot for vegan. We had delicious falafel plate and very tasty Beyond burger. They serve loval beer. The atmosphere is authentic. Fully recommend.

Food was alright and for a good price

I wish it was possible to give zero stars! Despite our fond memories of the place last summer, our last visit left us deeply disappointed. Even during the busiest lunch hours, the restaurant remained nearly empty, with only one other customer and a couple wise enough to leave when they noticed our disappointment. The sweet potato fries were overly burnt, and there were almost no discernible ingredients in the wraps. The attached photo clearly shows how empty my friend's wrap was. All he had to eat was the wrap bread. Despite spending a total of over €20, we left the restaurant with empty stomachs. I don't even want to talk about the staff! The sullen attitude of the staff suggested that everyone had been forcibly chained to their positions. During our visit no one paid any attention to us and the general atmosphere was subdued. Despite our best efforts to wish them a nice day as they said goodbye, none of the team members said a word. But such unfriendly behavior is not acceptable. I can't understand how the quality has dropped so drastically since our last visit in the summer, but I ADVISE EVERYONE TO LEARN FROM OUR EXPERIENCES AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

The high prices are absolutely not justified considering the poor service (SB) and the carelessly prepared food. I used to go to Lord's several times and even back then I found the restaurant to be a good place for vegetarian cuisine. Unfortunately, Lord has dropped significantly in terms of quality and at the same time raised prices sharply.

Wieder einmal fantastisch vegetarisch gegessen. Der Kassierer ist etwas spröde aber das kann man verschmerzen. Ich komme wieder und wieder.....

Etwas überzogene Preise, für einen veganen Burger ohne alles 13 Euro? Geschmeckt hat es auch nicht. Atmosphäre wie in einer Imbiss Bude, Einrichtung eher mittelmäßig. Kein Service am Tisch. Muss nicht nochmal sein.

Eigenartiges Restaurant. Auf der Karte steht das die Burger auch vegan möglich sind.wir haben normale Burger bestellt und trotzdem vegan bekommen. War in Ordnung der Burger aber leider 4 Mal nicht das was bestellt wurde. Preislich finde ich es zu teuer. Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt.hygiene scheint nicht an erster Stelle zu stehen. Allerdings muss ich sagen das ich dort besten Pommes bekommen habe die es gibt . Für die Pommes würde ich wiederkommen, für alles andere allerdings nicht.

Wäre super gewesen, wenn das Personal nicht ohne Handschuhe arbeiten und beim Niesen nicht auf das Essen zielen würde. Hygiene muss unbedingt besser werden. Dann isst man dort gerne. Insgesamt auch kein so leckeres Essen. Das Arabic Sandwich war labberig und fad im Geschmack. Die Würze und die Soße passen nicht. Besser wäre mehr Pfeffer und nicht so viel Soße rein zumachen. Hier müsste die Konsistenz des Fleischersatzes besser ausgearbeitet werden. Das Halloumi Sandwich war etwas besser. Die Preise sind ebenfalls nicht sehr günstig für eine solche Qualität erwartet man etwas besseres.

Es gibt auf Nachfrage keine Allergenliste. Das muss es doch inzwischen geben.

Das Ambiente, die Lage und der Look des ladens passt schon. Auch die Musik war angenehm. Das Essen wiederum war einfach lieblos und fad. wir hatten ein halumi- und ein Falafelsanwich. die Zutaten waren auch frisch aber die soßen hatten keine Power und die Falafeln war nicht knusprig und innen nicht fluffig sondern einfach matschig, denke TK Ware... Alles in allem ist der laden eher was für Kunden, den richtiges arabischen essen zu würzig ist.

Ich liebe diesen Ort und gehe seit Jahren, Jahrzehnten immer wieder hier hin. Nur hier gibt es den genialen "Arabic". Bitte nichts verändern und nicht moderner werden.

Leckeres Essen in der Innenstadt Dortmunds. Es ist nicht nur ein Imbiss, sondern auch ein Restaurant. Die Vorbereitungszeit ist trotzdem sehr kurz gewesen.

Mega lecker! Die Rolle vom total netten Chef mit Liebe gerollt

Zuallererst hatte der sehr alte Mann hinter der Theke trotz mehrfachem Wiederholen der Bestellungen mein Gericht vergessen. Das dann gelieferte Essen war dann sehr lieblos angerichtet. Der Teller mit Soße stand in meinem Salat. Zusätzlich war es total überwürzt und zudem kalt. Meine Beschwerde wurde später erst nicht verstanden, dann überrascht aufgenommen. Beim „Auf Wiedersehen“ von seiner Seite musste ich fast lachen… Fazit: Es war nicht lecker. Es war zu teuer und der Service nicht vorhanden.

Zu empfehlen,Backkartoffel mit vegetarischer Soße! Einfach gut !!

Gutes Konzept mit netter Auswahl. Die Mitarbeiter sprechen nur leider kaum deutsch oder englisch. "Bei Fragen zu Allergenen, Fragen Sie bitte unser geschultes Personal". Das spricht leider nur persisch und kann (wirklich traurig) auf deutsch nicht antworten.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Bestellvorgang wirkte chaotisch obwohl nichts los war, alle wirkten etwas unfreundlich und gestresst. Auch eine Auswahl an veganen Speisen und Nachspeisen gibt es. Insgesamt lohnt sich ein Besuch.

Ein Stern ist schon zu viel👎 Geht wo anders essen!!! Suppe Tütensuppe, Essen teuer aber nichts dahinter! Reis Mikrowellenreis, Soße undeffinierbar! Nachbarstuhl ist kaputt gegangen aber keiner fragt ob alles ok bei dem Kunden war. Toilette dreckig.. Neee, sorry da gehe ich bestimmt nicht nochmal hin👎👎👎

Rituale customer since day one, love the arabic

Knapp 6,50€ für eine Portion versalzene und nicht ganz fertige (demnach labbrige) Pommes mit Ketchup. Ich war leider sehr enttäuscht von meiner Wahl. Die Süßkartoffelpommes und Halloumi Rolle meiner Begleitungen waren jedoch gut.

Dortmunder Klassiker Ich kann den Laden rundherum nur empfehlen! Die Auswahl des Essens ist ausreichend und es ist ach für Vegetarier/Veganer genug Auswahl vorhanden. Die Preise mehr als fair und ich wurde hier nicht nie enttäuscht! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das freundliche Personal :)

Ich finde es lecker früher war das aber besser und dismal habe ich ein Arabic und eine kleine pommes ohne sosen plus zwei getranke fast 19 euro gezahlt was mir zu teuer ist und der typ der mir das pfladenbrot vorbeiretet hat hat vorher erstmal schòn die nase zugehalten beim niesen und dann direkt das brot angefassen was ich ekelhaft . Ich bin was das angeht extrem pingelig das musste nicht sein und dismal.kleinere portioned und geschnecjt ? Naja war etwas kalt das essen und für den preis finde ichbdas es mir nicht lohnt.

Ich wohne nicht in Dortmund, nehme aber regelmäßig einen Umweg in Kauf, um hier den grandiosen Arabic zu essen, am liebsten mit Kulutsche zum Dessert. Absolutes Comfort Food, das meinen Bauch und meine Seele glücklich macht! 😊

Außen hui innen pfui, von außen wirklich schön gemacht, aber innen.. Wir haben erlebt das am Nachbartisch ein Stuhl kaputt gegangen ist, keine Reaktion seitens der Besitzer oder der arbeitenden Angestellten. Das würde sich noch verschmerzen lassen wäre das Essen für den überzogenen Preis noch in Ordnung gewesen. Basmatireis aus der Tüte, ein liebloser Salat ohne Soße, eine Walnusspaste die keine war und eine grisselige Kichererbsenpaste waren eine Frechheit gewesen. Die Kokos-Tomatensuppe schmeckte nach billiger Tütensuppe, ein Kokos Aroma wurde vergeblich gesucht und Dessert war ebenfalls nicht vorhanden (obwohl die Speisekarte 5 verschiedene Dessertsorten angeboten hat). Spart euch euer Geld für ein anderes Fast-Food Restaurant, für das Geld bekommt man ziemlich magere kost geboten. Außer das man mit vegan wirbt bietet es rein nichts was andere Restaurants besser machen würden, eine riesige Enttäuschung, nie wieder!

The place is nice and the food is very tasty. The value is very good, but be careful and check the final bill carefully. When paying, the employee put the wrong amount (€7.20 more) and when I asked why, he said he didn't know. He certainly thought the tourists would let it go. At least I went back, complained and got my money back.

Ich esse hier nun schon seit fast 30 Jahren. Das Essen ist immer super. Der Service ist sehr nett. Man kann drinnen und draußen essen. Wenn es voll ist, ist es drinnen manchmal etwas eng. Die Toilettentür schließt leider z. ZT. nicht richtig.

Die Falafel wird auch komplett vegan gemacht, purer Genuss!!!!!!!

Sehr gemütlich, die Gerichte sind großartig, einer der besten Imbisse im Ruhrpott, gerade für die vegane Küche! Ist auf jeden Fall ein Pflichtbesuch, wenn man in der Gegend ist. Preise sind für die Qualität voll okay.

Erstes mal dort da es empfohlen wurde. Das Essen ist top, sehr nette Bedienung und auch in allem definitiv was für Vegetarier und Veganer. Ich als Local-Guide kann es echt empfehlen

Super leckeres veganes und vegetarisches Essen.

Pommes waren leider eine Katastrophe, weich und ölig. Die Rolle war üppig gefüllt, allerdings ging es uns beiden nach dem Essen nicht gut.

Mitarbeiter war freundlich aber konnte mir nichts empfehlen. Mein Lord Wrap war voll mit Öl und man konnte den nicht essen mein Burger (Beyond Meet Burger) hat nach Veggi Burger von Mc Donalds geschmeckt.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Vorallem die Süßkartoffel-Pommes hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Beyond Meat Burger hat wie ein richtiger geschmeckt und hat auch überzeugt. Auch die Wraps sind unglaublich Saftig und Frisch. Wie so oft ist der große Minus Punkt aber der viel zu hohe Preis... Damals war das Essen noch sehr Preiswert , immoment ist es mir aber zu hoch.

Das Essen ist sehr sperlich portioniert, wurde durch den 12€ Falafelteller nichtmal annähernd satt, es gibt kein System für Tischbestellungen wodurch wir bei größeren Bestellungen direkt zahlen mussten anstatt später eine Rechnung splitten zu können und durch die Lage hatten wir vier Mal das nette Zusammentreffen mit Leuten die uns um Geld angebettelt haben, also so als gemütliches Abendessen nach nem spannenden Tag in der City leider nicht so zu empfehlen, geschmeckt hats aber der Rest drum herum war mäßig
