Overall 5 star experience. The servers and people in charge are really kind and helpful! The check-in was smooth and we got a nice clean room. Small issue with a cold room which got solved super quick. The food was absolutely tasty and amazing. The portion was a lot!! I came in hungry to the table and left fuller than a stuffed turkey at Thanksgiving. Absolutely recommended going here to have dinner! Their service is top notch. Highly recommended. The breakfast was ready at the table in the morning and was a yummy start to the day.

After a very long wait, we received our food. The quality and taste were not that great. My fillet was overcooked (black crust) and was almost impossible to cut.

Highly recommended. Everything tasted freshly cooked, and there were no processed foods. The sauces were definitely freshly prepared, and the schnitzel and fillet were fried and not deep-fried like in many restaurants. It was a very successful evening. Thank you for that.

Service is virtually nonexistent. Highly recommended for those who don't mind waiting over an hour for their food. However, don't expect any culinary highlights from the food. For a €20 burger, you'd expect at least some seasoning.

Not recommended, the wait was over an hour. I was treated like a second-class guest. McDonald's burgers are more recommendable in terms of quality and taste. They're also cheaper.

I was there for a special birthday, and the hostess ordered a good, extensive buffet, which was delicious. The menu reads well and offers a lot, but I can't comment on how it tastes. The outdoor area is huge, and you can also rent smaller or larger rooms inside the restaurant. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The restrooms are on the ground floor, but are very dated. They urgently need some work. The salad buffet directly opposite the restrooms isn't a good solution, as it smells a bit like a toilet.

We went to the asparagus buffet and it was simply great, everything was delicious 😋 friendly service, we would love to come back again.

We stopped there by chance because we wanted to avoid a traffic jam. The food was very good and enough to fill you up. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. You can park right opposite on the market square.

Cozy inn that has been beautifully modernized. A good combination of old and new. We were there for a wedding reception, there is a large hall. When the weather is good there is a beautiful garden, and when the weather is bad there is a covered terrace. There is also a small children's playground further back. The food (buffet for us) was very good.

We celebrated my father's birthday there again. 160 people. From the organization to the service to the food, it was great again. Always friendly, no matter what you need. Kitchen, even with finger food, no convenience but freshly cooked and very good in taste. Presentation loving. Plates were constantly replaced. We can recommend it without reservation! You don't find something like that often anymore! Thanks to you all!

I rate the restaurant: A traditional, simple restaurant with a classic home-style menu: the products are freshly prepared and you get good steaks here at a moderate price. There is a conference part where you can hold larger meetings, for example for property managers. The salad buffet is simple but kept fresh. Always worth a visit with the family.

We visited the restaurant for the first time today and we really liked it. Inside a classic, cozy inn, outside with a great courtyard to relax in when the weather is good. The menu is varied, drinks as well as food. The taste was everything we liked ate very tasty.

We worked with the MGV Quartettverein Genhülsen 1894 e. V. sung there in the festively decorated hall in front of the Mönchengladbach Blind Association. We also received excellent, quick service! You have to be happy that places like this with a hall and festively decorated side rooms still exist today!

A positive surprise. Our visit there 20 years ago was very sobering. Now we were able to discover something new, ate well, were served quickly and the price was reasonable. We'd be happy to go again.

Gänsekeule vom Buffet, lecker mit Knödeln, Maronensauce, Rotkohl, Rosenkohl Rosmarinkartoffel, Entenkeule, Vorsuppe und Nachtisch ... Herz, was willst du mehr. Preis Leistung 1a, Service 1a, Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vorm Hotel. Alles wirklich gut. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt.

Katastrophe beim Essen das Essen war gut aber es kam nicht vollständig am Tisch, eins wurde komplett vergessen. Im Wintergarten regnet es durch. Na ja ob man das nochmal haben muss????

Ein schöner, deutscher Gasthof mit Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten, seit 1890. Sehr schöne alte Traditionsgaststätte mit guter Küche und nettem Personal.

Personal ist sofort zu stelle, als eine Gabel gefallen ist anstatt es zu ignorieren, auch in stressigen Zeiten häufig an unserem Tisch gewesen um nach weiteren Getränken o. Wünschen zu fragen. Location ist auch gut, für viele Personen sowie Paare perfekt geeignet. Toilette sehr sauber und nix zu meckern. Selbst bei etwas wuseligeren Kindern wurde Verständnis gezeigt. 5 Sterne, gerne wieder.

Wir haben ein hervorragendes Bayrisches Buffet genossen. Es schmeckte alles sehr frisch. Das Fleisch hatte den richtigen Garpunkt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und der Speiseraum ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Dessert "warmer Apfelstrudel" war das Tüpfelchen zum Schluß. Einfach nur empfehlenswert. 👍😊

Erstklassiges Essen und sehr nette Bedienung, trotz dass es recht voll war und wir keine Reservierung hatten hat alles prima geklappt. Der Biergarten ist wunderschön mit altem Baumbestand so das man auch bei Hitze sehr gut draußen sitzen kann.

Schönes gepflegtes Restaurant mit netten freundlichen Bedienungen. Biergarten / Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein und ist zum Teil überdacht mit hochwertigen Zelten die süss Dekoriert sind. Kinderspielplatz ist vorhanden und kann dafür sorgen das den kleinen Gästen nicht langweilig wird.

Haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war absolut perfekt. Das Personal war extrem kompetent, zuvorkommend und flexibel. Die Organisation im Vorhinein war ebenso reibungslos. Das Essen war äußerst lecker und reichlich und mit Getränken waren die Gäste stets versorgt. Rundum einfach ein genialer Tag.

Das Essen war echt sehr gut! Nachdem mir die Kellnerin, ein Getränk über meine Hose und meinen Tisch gekippt hatte, wurde uns gesagt wir würden als Entschädigung etwas aufs Haus bekommen. Alles gut, kann passieren. Als wir bezahlen wollten, wurden wir ganz normal abgerechnet und es wurde auch nicht mehr darüber gesprochen. Erst auf Nachfrage meines Mannes haben wir dann 2 Getränke aufs Haus bekommen. Blöde war auch das die Pfütze an meinen Füßen nicht weggewischt worden ist, wir sind dann mit dem Tisch nach hinten gerutscht.

Ein sehr schöner Biergarten reichlich Bepflanzt und sehr nett angelegt. Auch an Kinder wurde gedacht und es sind Spielgeräte vorhanden. Eine nette Lokation mit leckeren Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🙂

Sehr gute Location. Wir sind dort auch einer Hochzeitsparty eingeladen gewesen. Großer Raum für eine Party, eine Bühne für eine Band ist vorhanden, viel Platz zum tanzen davor und ein super Buffet. Es wurde sehr nett dekoriert und angerichtet. Der Service war auch top. Wir waren alle begeistert.
