Lo‘canta in Schwerte - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

Saturday evening - Lo' Canta was very well attended. Lots of guests. That's why it took a while to order. Everything OK. But the fact that the change is kept as a tip when paying without comment is outrageous. I was so speechless that I (unfortunately) didn't complain to the waitress. That was my last visit to Lo' Canta.

Sweet tapas bar where the food is freshly cooked and to this day I have always enjoyed it very much. I can personally particularly recommend the large breakfast. There is also always oat or almond drink for my coffee. The price-performance ratio is also really great and the lovely owner always makes me feel welcome. What more do you want? ;)

It's a shame, after almost 20 years as a regular customer, this was my last time here. After a break of 2.5 years due to moving away, I was at Lo Canta again, as I used to be my regular Spaniard for many years. I was very happy. Unfortunately it cannot be compared with the past. Portions no longer appropriate for the price. Soft Turkish flatbread is now served as bread. We were served burnt tomato bread, aware that some of the burnt had already been scraped off. That just doesn't work. At least the bread was replaced. Then the cheese came also burnt, part of the burnt breading had already been removed, so this was also conscious. It's a shame to serve something like that. The cheese was taken away, but we didn't get any new. Only when we asked for the bill did the waiter inquire, with the result that we wouldn't get any new cheese and that we would only be charged half as much for it. More than half was then calculated. Unfortunately the service and quality are no longer possible. Apparently it wasn't just us, on a Saturday evening there was only one table occupied besides ours. At least the rest of the tapas were delicious, so still 2 stars.

Chic location, cool music, delicious food and cold drinks, do you need more for a girls' night??? I do not think so!! And Lo'canta has all of this to offer. We chose this restaurant by chance and because the staff at another restaurant where we first inquired (with a ship within ;-) was unfriendly and rude. Luckily for us it turned out to be Lo'canta and we will be back. Despite the large space, you can feel very comfortable and entertained. All the waitresses that evening were very attentive and friendly, we never had an empty glass. The food came quickly, was very tasty and hot, if it was supposed to be hot 😉. The only negative points are the somewhat uncomfortable wooden chairs (next time I'll take my Fritz seat with me) and the unfortunately accessible toilet. But the atmosphere and the ambience make up for it a lot. See you next time!!

Except for the construction site on the market square, everything was great!

The furnishings are simple and outdated. But we really like this atmosphere. This reminds us of our student days. The portions are small and ideal for sharing. This way you can try more! But everything tasted good 👍.

I like being at Lo'canta and come back regularly - whether for tapas, a live concert or a Belgian waffle with ice cream - there is something delicious to eat here at any time of the day.

The food was okay. Sometimes it was quite spicy and salty. The tapas platter was carelessly prepared and had nothing special on top. I really expected more. The fried squid rings and the tortilla were good. I was very disappointed with the bread. Here you use Turkish flatbread instead of the one you are used to from a Spaniard. The aioli was very mayonnaise-heavy and not edible for me. The ambience is simple, the service good.

Liebe das es am Marktplatz ist, immer lecker ob zum morgen ,zum mittag oder abend. Ich liebe es dort zu sitzen und essen auch das ambient sehr oldschool und cool. Genauso wie die besitzerin , sie ist immer freundlich und nett. Preistechnisch auch gut für alles was dort angeboten wird.

Very nice atmosphere, have been there several times and have never been disappointed! great food and very nice staff. Highly recommended and definitely worth the trip. Perfect to eat and spend time with friends or family..

Wer gerne viel Knoblauch mag, ist hier goldrichtig. Die gebratenen Sardellen waren richtig lecker.

Heute war es sehr laut, normalerweise ist das aber nicht so schlimm.

Die dort gereiften Speisen waren sehr lecker aber leider auch sehr übersichtlich. Der Service war freundlich und nett und das Ambiente war in Ordnung

Es war wie immer super. Tolles Personal, sehr nett, großartiges Essen und mit 30 Euro pro Person einschließlich Getränke vollkommen angemessen

Ich war bislang 3 Mal samstags vormittags dort wenn Markttag war. Jedes Mal war die Bedienung nach Kräften bemüht aber auch überfordert. Vom Ton der "Chefin" zu den Bedienungen vor den Gästen mal ganz zu schweigen!!! Das Lokal macht auf mich keinen einladenden Blick. Die Möblierung ist arg in die Jahre gekommen und auch die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig (Staub, Spinnweben). Und wenn man schon 20 Minuten auf sein Getränk warten muss dann erweckt das bei mir nicht den Eindruck das der Gast sich wohlfühlen soll. Ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen. 👎

Netter Service , immer wieder gerne

Vorspeisenplatte für 9€ eine dürftige Ansammlung von Discounter Wurst und Käse. Fleischbällchen leider tot-gekocht. Soße gut. Fisch-Kroketten nicht genießbar. Toiletten stanken nach Urin. Service aufmerksam und gut.

Samstags auf den Markt und vorher Kaffee und Rührei.

Sehr schönes Restaurant inmitten des Marktplatzes von Schwerte. Man kann dort wunderbar draußen sitzen mit Blick auf dem Marktplatz und der Viktor Kirche. Die Bedienung ist herzlich und nett. Das Essen schmackhaft reichlich und super gut. Die Portionen sind ausreichend. Eine Tiefgarage zum parken ist in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung

Ganz leckere Tappas und echt flotter Service. War ein neuer junger Mann. Den kannten wir bisher noch nicht, aber er hat echt für einen schönen Abend gesorgt.

Wir sind bislang sehr oft dort zum Tapas Essen hingeradelt. In die Aioli konnten wir uns "reinlegen". Doch aktuell können wir leider keine 5 Sterne vergeben. Die Aioli schmeckte dünn und säuerlich. Ich habe direkt gefragt, ob es einen neuen Koch gibt..dem war wohl auch so. Die Patatas Bravas schwammen im Frittierfett. Einzig der Hausssalat war lecker wie gewohnt. Schade...Die Location schön auch draussen zum Markt hin. Der Service gewohnt sehr freundlich. Dennoch enttäuscht von dannen gezogen. :-( UPDATE: Offenbar hatte die Küche/ Vertretung zur o.a.Rezension einen schlechten Tag....wir waren wieder dort (mehr als 1x) und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Aioli wieder zum reinlegen,, Service wie immer super freundlich :-) immer wieder gerne zum gemütlichen Eat-Sit-in :-)

Immer wieder gerne. Leckere Tapas, gemütlich draußen auf dem Marktplatz. Freundliches Personal, leider ist die Küche inclusive warmer Getränke recht früh geschlossen.
