Quantity over quality – and zero respect, let alone a shred of professionalism, for guests! Visited twice – twice completely disappointed. The second time, it got truly brazen: Instead of the hot lemon with honey we ordered, we received a chilled bottle of FUZE iced tea with a honey packet (!). When we complained, the response was literally: "The staff doesn't care – you should have told us beforehand." Even the children's plate WITHOUT fries was charged in full! Instead of addressing the situation, the waitress sent her colleague (presumably the shift manager) ahead – also highly unprofessional, rude, and completely unfocused on finding a solution!!! We happened to run into the boss in person outside the restaurant and spoke to him right away – again: no focus on finding a solution, no redress, and zero professionalism. Only the statement, "he speaks to the staff – who told us as we left that they didn't care whether we came back or not...." This is clearly about quantity over quality – the main thing is sales, the rest is irrelevant. Hospitality? None. We definitely won't be coming back – and we advise everyone else not to either!

In Dutch, that was really delicious and in German... That was damn delicious. A delicious salmon fillet with potato gratin on a bed of vegetables, And a dessert of chocolate mousse, delicious!

We reserved a table twice, and suddenly we were told we had a private party. But we could still come. We felt like we were on a siding. The beef was of inferior quality. It tasted sour. Unfortunately, the ambiance, quality, and service are not recommended. You could do much better. 👆

Eight of us dined at the restaurant and were absolutely thrilled! We ordered pasta, steak, crispy chicken, and bruschetta, among other dishes – everything was excellently prepared and tasted top-notch. We dine regularly and enjoy fine dining, but there are few restaurants that have impressed us as much as this one. The quality of the food, the harmonious ambiance, and, above all, the first-class service made our visit perfect. Kudos to the entire team – everything just works here. We definitely recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

We spontaneously arrived at the restaurant with over eight people – including several children – and received a warm welcome. Despite the large group size, everything went smoothly. Each of us ordered something different: for the children, we had chicken sticks, pasta, spinach, tagliatelle, and penne, among other dishes – all delicious! I would especially like to emphasize the excellent service. The staff was not only friendly and attentive, but also made us feel welcome from the very first moment. A real highlight were the three steaks we ordered with varying degrees of doneness – and all three were cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed by not only the perfect degree of doneness, but also the outstanding flavor of the meat. The high quality of the meat was clearly noticeable – a culinary delight of the highest order. An all-round successful visit – we will definitely be back!

Hello, I was there for dinner on May 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes before we could order drinks. We also wanted to order food right away because we had plenty of time to choose. However, this wasn't possible, as they said they would come back later. Well, 15 minutes later, someone was free. There were five of us, by the way. Unfortunately, the first mistake happened with the drinks: instead of a rhubarb spritzer, we were served rhubarb juice. This was replaced, but the bill was billed as rhubarb juice, which is more expensive. Then, after 1 hour and 40 minutes, the food arrived. A salad with salmon, which was excellent, then three steaks, two of which were cooked incorrectly. And, well, the pizza was forgotten and is still taking its time. The steaks were taken away and made again. Unfortunately, both were cooked incorrectly again. The pizza itself was delicious, but very small. I can't recommend it at all.

We were a group of four with our dog and had a fantastic time at Living. Although the place was packed, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food (main course and dessert) was delicious! We've been there several times before and will be happy to come again. A great place for the Eifel region, especially if you want to experience the big city feeling!

The food was very tasty and plentiful. A big compliment to the kitchen. The two waitresses were very friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. And the dining room was only partially occupied. The owners should think about hiring additional service staff so that guests don't have to wait too long and are left high and dry. Ambience very nice, except for the light pink plastic flowers.

I ate there four times during two weeks of vacation. Tagliatelle with beef, scalopina and two hake. There were plenty of vegetables there, not just a blob. Therefore five points for the food, even if it might be better elsewhere for more money. I thought the Montepulciano and the Pinot Gris and also the Williams were very good. Overall, the service staff were very friendly and attentive (well, one or two were perhaps new and therefore a bit shy). I also liked the ambience. Not just modern boho-want-to-please chic, but also a few retro elements. And, for me, pleasant, varied background music. If I'm in the area again, I'd be happy to come back

There's nothing wrong with the food. However, the waitress was unmotivated (or was having a bad day), and guests felt unwelcome. Perhaps the owners should consider employing more than two waiters on a Saturday night when the place is packed. It feels like the menu hasn't changed for years, except for the prices. Some variety would be welcome. Although a special menu is advertised, it unfortunately wasn't available when we visited. Card payments are accepted.

Heute zum ersten Mal da gewesen und leider total enttäuscht . Die Einrichtung ist Geschmackssache, Boden, Stühle , Tische etc haben was von einem 50 Jahre Diner , schön, dazwischen aber irritierend künstliche rosane Plastikblumen und weiße kitschige Deko Gitter, etwas seltsam. Egal, über Geschmack lässt sich streiten . Am negativsten war leider die Kellnerin. Null Motivation. Schon bei der Begrüßung wurden wir wortlos zum Tisch geführt, kein Lächeln, kein freundliches Wort. Nach dem Aufnehmen der Bestellung brachte sie das Essen recht bald. Leider ertrank der Salat in süßer (?) Soße , die Pizza war geschmacklich ok, aber nicht schneidbar, weil gummiartig. Musste man also zerreißen. Nach dem Essen haben wir geschlagene 60 Minuten gewartet, in denen die Kellnerin kein einziges Mal mehr auftauchte, wir konnten also kein Getränk mehr bestellen. Nach einem Dessertwunsch wurde gar nicht erst gefragt. Wir haben sie dann zu uns gerufen, winkend. Fast widerwillig nahm sie noch einen Getränkewunsch auf und fragte auch jetzt nicht nach einem Dessert. Das Essen war leider nichts Besonderes, ein derart schlechter Service lädt leider nicht dazu

Was there for the first time today and unfortunately totally disappointed. The furnishings are a matter of taste, the floor, chairs, tables etc have something of a 50's diner, nice, but in between there are irritating artificial pink plastic flowers and white kitschy decorative grilles, a bit strange. Regardless, taste is debatable. Unfortunately, the waitress was the most negative. Zero motivation. As soon as we were greeted, we were led to the table without a word, no smile, no friendly word. After taking the order, she brought the food pretty soon. Unfortunately the salad was drowned in sweet (?) sauce, the pizza tasted ok, but couldn't be cut because it was rubbery. So you had to tear it up. After our meal we waited for a full 60 minutes, during which the waitress didn't show up once, so we couldn't order any more drinks. No one even asked about a dessert request. We then called them over, waving. She accepted another drink request almost reluctantly and didn't ask for dessert. Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special, and such poor service unfortunately doesn't make you want to come back. :-(

The place could be recommended if the waitress who served and cashed there yesterday treated the guests differently. It started as soon as we walked in. We had a reservation, and the reservation didn't exist. We were already yelled at for the first time. My little son (3 years old) was standing next to her and tapped her wallet during the discussion about the reservation. I had already taken it back and explained to him that this wasn't acceptable. She then had to reprimand my son again, pointing out that it would also, quote, "be expensive for your mommy." However, I wonder what the expensive thing was, because he only tapped her to say something to her while we were all standing at the checkout! We got a table anyway. However, we were still served rudely by the lady. The other waitress who took the food and the waiter who brought my son his pizza were very friendly. It was time to pay. The unfriendly lady brought the bill, and the bill included the Champions League children's pizza. Even though the menu stated: Children's pizza with two toppings. I pointed this out to her and was immediately yelled at, saying I should deduct the €1. I paid the total amount, but I didn't have any small bills, so I gave her €1 instead of 60 cents. However, I wasn't prepared to tip her after all her actions and didn't say the rest was for her. She pocketed the money and left. As she walked to the next table, I pointed out to her that I was still getting 40 cents. She slammed the 50 cents on the table, saying, "I don't have 40 cents in small bills." It couldn't have been more outrageous... even if you don't have any small bills, you can communicate that beforehand and they won't pocket money that isn't yours. It was our first and last time there... what a shame...

The menu is a mix of Italian and German dishes. We had saltimboca and vegetarian ravioli. As a starter, bruscetta and tomato soup. Everything is very attractively presented. At the end we had to try Tartuffo Limoncella😍The decor is modern and has a touch of Cuba, just like the music. The service was ok, not extremely attentive, but not unfriendly either. Just ok. Price-performance absolutely reasonable. In summer you can also sit outside and enjoy one of the countless cocktails.

Were here after a visit to the thermal baths. Very friendly welcome, delicious bottled beer from the area, delicious fries, delicious salads.

We returned today after a hike, reservation useful. Service very very friendly and attentive. We had bruscetta and beef carpaccio, both tasty and good. Bruscetta exceptionally prepared! Then chicken curry from the special menu, plentiful and tasty. The salad with three kinds of fish was also good. I would be happy to come back if I have the opportunity!

Unfortunately the pizza has now become very salty... …Super nice decor and super relaxed atmosphere. The service is super nice and open to small talk. Food is also very tasty. After your meal you can have a coffee in a small Chillarea.

Essen war sehr sehr lecker, Portion könnten etwas größer sein zumindest für Männer. Getränke könnte etwas mehr nach geschaut werden => wenn leer dann fragen. Nicht falsch verstehen sind sehr zufrieden wenn das optimiert wird alles 5 Sterne.

I have never experienced such poor service. Unfriendly and rude staff who treat guests disrespectfully. Waitress walks through the restaurant with her mouth full and food in her hand, discusses with us that the Sprite for the KÖLSCH Radler we ordered is not a soda and insists on her rights. Ultimately we got a Pilsner and they said they didn't order Kölsch. “You have to order extra Kölsch” It's a shame that our group's Christmas party was so spoiled. Won't be coming back. At least the food was tasty

We were there again on Saturday for lunch/breakfast (omelet). The food had the usual expected quality, but the behavior and communication of the waitress was unfortunately very harsh.

Today we returned to the living room again after a long time. The food and service have deteriorated greatly. We had a pizza that was totally over salted, Scaloppine okay. Staff not particularly friendly, sometimes very awkward. We'll take a break now.

The food and cocktails are always delicious. Fresh ingredients and well seasoned. Every dish is lovingly prepared on beautiful plates. The sauce is served separately, which I personally think is really good. I have to deduct a star for the ambience because it is often very loud, but that's just how the rooms are.

Wir waren 8 Personen und wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt, an dem max. 7 Personen sitzen konnten. Da das Restaurant aber voll war, bestand keine Möglichkeit, sich an einen anderen Tisch umzusetzen. Die Bedienungen waren überwiegend freundlich, leider wurde beim Abräumen der Rest eines Salatdressings ohne Absicht über eine Jacke geschüttet, passiert halt leider auch dem besten Personal:( Das Essen war ok, die Sauce des Saltimbocca hätte jedoch etwas sämiger sein können, sie war einfach zu dünn aufgesetzt worden. Die Akustik in dem Restaurant war viel zu laut, von daher haben wir uns auch laut unterhalten müssen, um den restlichen Lärm zu übertönen. Der Hammer war dann aber am Ende, nachdem wir die letzte Runde bestellt hatten: da kommt doch der Inhaber schwankend an unseren Tisch und beschwert sich bei uns, dass wir den ganzen Abend über so laut gewesen wären. Wir haben versucht, ihm die Situation zu erklären, aber er schien überhaupt nichts mitzubekommen bzw. unsere Meinung nicht akzeptieren zu wollen, da er betrunken zu sein schien. Schade, ein wirklich schöner Abend wurde durch die Tirade des Inhabers in Nullkommanichts zerstört. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nicht wieder kommen und können das Restaurant absolut NICHT empfehlen.

Wir haben mittlerweile mehrmals dieses Restaurant besucht und waren mit dem Essen weitestgehend zufrieden, bis auf die wiederholte übermäßige Verwendung von Salz. Auch die hohe Lautstärke haben wir als ziemlich anstrengend empfunden. Was uns heute insbesondere mißviel, war der Umstand dass der letzte unserer Gruppe sein Essen bekam als alle anderen schon fertig waren. Wir gehen davon aus dass es sich um eine Ausnahme handelte und werden das Restaurant sicherlich trotzdem mal wieder besuchen. Das Servicepersonal ist nett und stets bemüht es dem Kunden recht zu machen.

Good food at reasonable prices in a nice environment. You can sit and eat well inside, but unfortunately the main road is in front of the restaurant outside, so on weekends there are unfortunately many cars less than 50 meters from the tables. The dishes are nicely prepared and there is a good selection.

Mein rote Beete Salat war obwohl nicht als Vorspeise deklariert einfach zu klein, außerdem fehlten die in der Beschreibung enthaltenen Kartoffeln, davon konnte man nicht satt werden. Auch für‘s Auge war nichts dabei, keine Dekoration wie sonst….für knapp 12 € einfach enttäuschend

Fischvergiftung durch vergammelten Lachs auf der Fischplatte. Leider kein Einzelfall, wie ich aus dem Bekanntenkreis erfahren habe. Sowas in darf nicht passieren, sonst ist die Hygiene ist ein Fall für die Behorden. Bedienung hilflos und überfordert nach Reklamation. Habe meinen alten Teller mit den nicht reklamierten Resten zurück bekommen 🤦, darauf haben wir alles bezahlt, sind gegangen mit 1 Woche Nachwirkungen ( Vergiftung ) Nach bisher guten Erfahrungen leider von der Liste gestrichen....🥴

Ich war am 27.10 Freitag dort essen und es war wirklich sehr sehr lecker, obwohl es so voll war kam das Essen schnell und die Kellnerin dort war super pfiffig. Also in jedem Punkt eine 10/10. Sehr empfehlenswert !!

Das Essen war gut, wenn auch das zuerst gewünschte Gericht um 19.30 Uhr bereits ausverkauft war.Nach 30 Minuten die Getränkebestellung aufgegeben, nach 1 Stunde Wartezeit die Vorspeise bekommen, nach knapp 90 Minuten gab es das Hauptgericht, aber es war auch sehr voll an diesem Sonntag.

Sehr lecker, sauber und freundlich. Besonders den Ziegenkäsen Salat kann ich weiterempfehlen mild vom Geschmack und der Dressing himmlisch.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage an der vielbefahrenen Straße, zumindest im Sommer, wenn man draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen möchte. Aber immerhin, man hat die Möglichkeit draußen zu sein 🙂. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, werden aber gerne wieder kommen und haben 'Living in Roetgen' bereits weiter empfohlen.

Essen gut, jedoch sehr schlechter Service! Wir hatten mit einer Wandergruppe von 17 Personen einen Tisch um 19:30 Uhr bestellt. Damit die Küche vorbereitet ist und die Bedienung entlastet ist, hatten wir vormittags bereits die einzelnen Essen vorbestellt. Als wir, nach unserer langen Wanderung hungrig ankamen, fanden wir einen Tisch vorbereitet, welcher zusammen gestellt war aus einem großen Tisch und einem kleinen wackeligen Beistelltisch, der nicht dazu passte. Obwohl nebendran noch ein großer Tisch frei war und auch den ganzen Abend frei blieb. Außerdem fehlte ein Platz, so dass wir alle noch zusammen rücken mussten. Die Getränkebestellung lief halbwegs reibungslos. Es wurde nur ein Getränk gebracht, welches nicht bestellt war. Auf unser Essen mussten wir jedoch 2 (!!) Stunden warten. Wir sprachen die Bedienung mehrfach an. Diese reagierte unfreundlich, genervt und gestresst. Kein Wort des Bedauerns oder Entschuldigung. Nur die Ausrede, dass derzeit viel los sei und andere Gruppen, die jedoch nicht vorbestellt hatten, noch vor uns dran kämen. Da wir sehr hungrig waren, fragten wir nach Brot. Dieses wurde uns verwehrt, mit der Begründung, wenn der Küchenchef jetzt noch Brot schneiden muss, dann dauert es noch länger mit dem Essen. Eine Unverschämtheit, Gäste so zu behandeln. Als dann das Essen kam, wurde es ohne Worte einfach hingestellt. Wir kamen uns vor, wie bei einer Massenabfertigung. Restaurantfreude ist anders. Auf Nachfragen und Verhandlung erhielten wir noch einen kleinen Schnaps auf's Haus. Welcher jedoch nicht als nette Geste angeboten wurde, sondern von uns als Entschuldigung erfragt wurden. Gastfreundlichkeit und Service findet man im Living leider nicht. Schade. Wenigstens das Essen hat geschmeckt.
