The food is amazing, the people are super friendly, but it's not a place to sit and relax for long. Still, I have to come here every time I'm in Berlin!

We arrived just before closing time, so there wasn't a long line. The food was delicious and authentic. We started with one chili, but we probably could have ordered 1.5. Unfortunately, we were charged €20 too much on the bill, which we only noticed afterward. Unfortunately, we didn't notice.

Delicious as always! Highly recommend the dumplings with the amazing sauce they come in. The cold noodles are also outstanding. The classic noodles are also really delicious, as always.

I was going to another place for lunch but saw this place on the way and wanted to give it a try. I ordered Sichuan Beef Noodles and it was very delicious. Service was also very fast. I'd highly recommend!

I left the store a few minutes ago, full...! I ate the beef noodles with spice level 2. Along with dumplings with pork filling. You should be aware that both the noodles and the dumplings are swimming in oil. Definitely too much oil for me. Sure, it's supposed to be that way, but had I known that beforehand, I think I would have chosen something else or skipped it altogether. The spice level was less than expected, but I like extremely spicy food. So level 3 is definitely not "extremely" spicy. The dumplings had a very neutral flavor and didn't really make me happy. At €7 for 3-4 small dumplings, I would have expected a bit more. The beef noodles tasted good, but nothing more. I added chili to these as well. Overall, the visit was okay, but I don't quite understand the hype. So if you like oily food and don't mind waiting in line for it, this is definitely a change. I personally won't be going back...!

I was at Liu's Noodle House in Berlin-Mitte around 12 noon and only had to wait about 5 minutes – perfectly fine considering the central location. I ordered the Shengjiao beef noodles and the ground beef in spicy chili oil. Both were very tasty – spicy, aromatic, and authentically Chinese. The spiciness was pleasant and not overly so. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is simple, but clean and inviting. My only minor criticism: The prices are on the high side for a simple noodle house. Nevertheless, I'll be happy to come back whenever I'm craving good Chinese noodles.

Super delicious, really, but the portion was too small for the price, in my opinion. I was still pretty hungry afterwards.^^

I had little time and a big appetite. The Sichuan beef noodles were very satisfying. Tasty, sufficiently spicy and with a convincing taste. Here you get a simple and solid kitchen.

Wir waren absolut begeistert. Unfassbar aromatische Nudelgerichte. Wählbarer Schärfegrad bei allen Gerichten. Wir hatten die Nudelgerichte in Stufe 1 und Dumplings in Stufe 2. Der Unterschied ist sehr groß. Ich esse gerne scharf und hab bei Stufe 1 so gut wie keine Schärfe gespürt, Stufe 2 war mir dann aber fast zu scharf. Vielleicht gibt es da aber auch noch ein Mittelding wenn man nach fragt. Tipp: die hausgemachten dicken Nudeln bestellen (kosten einen kleinen Aufpreis). So so gut!

As a Sichuanese this restaurant was the closest thing to experiencing authentic Sichuanese dishes in Germany! The service is very nice and quick but keep in mind that they only take cash payment! A lot of vegetarian options aswell ;) we payed 29€ for the portion shown in the picture

I was there right when the store opened and didn't have to wait long. I had the pasta with minced meat. Very tasty and available in different levels of spiciness. I paid €13, it was a good portion too. Vegetarian versions also available. Service was nice and quick. Only cash payment possible.

Finally a really good Sichuan restaurant! The location is on a very nice corner of Kronenstrasse - an area that I generally love. Unfortunately, it is rare to find good and inexpensive restaurants here. Apart from the slightly longer queue, which moved quickly, everything was great: the food was excellent - not too spicy, but perfectly seasoned. As soon as we ordered, the food was on the table in just 30 seconds. The organization is really impressive. I will definitely come more often! And the staff? Simply super personable – friendly, attentive and consistently warm.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The bolognese we ordered was of poor quality – very disgusting and had an unpleasant consistency and taste. In addition, we were simply charged an extra €1 when we took our food away. To then charge additional fees for this quality is really a disgrace. We certainly won't be coming back.

Under the influence of TikTok, let's get to know this restaurant. We ordered online, and when we arrived at the restaurant, we showed our order number and received a table number. Despite it being 2:00 pm, the restaurant was relatively full and we managed to get one of the last tables. The staff were very friendly and our order arrived in five minutes. The food was good.

I have never received my food so quickly in a restaurant. Service was great, the food was better than in many Chinese restaurants but not as good as competitors from Düsseldorf or Hamburg, where I personally liked it better. Tips: Get there early, but still have to wait, spiciness level 1-2 is completely relaxed, from level 3 only for spicy eaters, main course with a side dish is enough for one person.

Very tasty authentic food. You can choose the level of spiciness for some dishes. Also lots of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is well located and fills up shortly after opening. There may be waiting times. Unfortunately you cannot pay by card here.

The food: great! But sorry, what's wrong with the payment options? Cash only is probably not new in Berlin but why am I told by an employee outside that I could also pay with Paypal and then when I order I am told 'no, only cash or WeChat pay'. The Google Maps entry says that credit cards are accepted. I don't understand the discrepancy and it just ruins my lunch break when I have to find a bank ATM (where I don't have to pay any fees) to eat here.

The food, especially the Sichuan beef noodles and Sichuan Zajing noodles are scrumptious so we keep returning. But it’s always super busy and people sit so crammed in this tiny space on tiny tables and chairs.

Food itself is a 10/10 but since it is so crowded at the moment the quality suffers a little, which is of course understandable. We had better pasta here a year ago, but it wasn't that well known back then. Still a recommendation, but it's not for relaxed eating together but rather a fast food experience because the tables have to be cleared quickly.

Always good and quick service, no-fuss place eatery with good dumplings (chaoshou 抄手) and noodle dishes, for the curious or people who appreciate authentic Sichuan dishes, I recommend trying their cold side dishes, like the lotus roots or tofu, or even the intestines!

We arrived eight minutes after opening and the line was already long. We waited about 20 minutes. The service employee at the checkout was very friendly, forgiving and patient in providing all customers with advice upon request. The food we ordered came to the table very quickly. We had three vegan dishes (noodles, dumplings, lotus), each with a low level of spiciness, which was enough for us. There is chili oil on the tables for sharpening. Chili oil can also be purchased there. We enjoyed the food and will definitely come back again.

Really good food. Also suitable for people who don't have high spicy tolerance. The aroma of Sichuan pepper and chilli oil is just so great. You can add a small price to change the thin noodles into thick noodles. Cash only, but I'm just grateful that I can actually find such food in Germany with a totally reasonable price.

Enjoyed the food, but always very busy. So pre order and take away or walk by and wait.

The food was very, very, very tasty and can only be recommended. The staff are somehow unprofessional. After I ordered and ate two different dishes, the employee asked me to leave the store because the line had become very long and the other customers needed space. I find it uncomfortable.

The food itself is very tasty. The consistency of the noodles and the taste of the noodles were great. The only thing that bothers me is the ambience, which doesn't exist inside at all. The employee who assigned us the seats seemed very stressed and unfriendly. We weren't allowed to swap chairs because my older mom preferred a backrest. When my uncle ate, our bowls were already cleared away and we were basically pushed out of the chairs. While my uncle was still eating, two more full bowls were needed at the table for the guests who were already standing next to them. The food is thrown out like a conveyor belt and unfortunately so are the guests.

It really was that bad! Despite the good looks, it just tastes like water with chilli oil. The kimchi or cabbage in the soup didn't taste like anything. The noodles were nothing special. I would never recommend anyone!

The beef noodle soup tastes okay, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering the side dish—the portion is too small. Maybe it’s due to inflation in Berlin, but overall, I find it a bit overpriced. The female cashier was a bit impatient somehow…even there was not even someone after me.😅

The food is excellent and authentic. On site it seems as if only cash payment was possible; a tip from the employee at the checkout about online payment would have been helpful. The cleanliness and order on the tables could be a little better, hence “only” 4 stars. With better opening times and the points mentioned above, 5/5 stars are easily possible :)

The best Asian noodles I have EVER eaten. The intensity and balance of the spices are unique. Above all, the use of Szechuan peppercorn is on point here, which not every restaurant can do. If Chef's Table were still on Netflix, this store would 100% be there. Update January 20, 2025: This visit was again an epic experience. Incredibly good, authentic noodles and exceptional flavors in the broth.

For me it was the best Chinese noodles I've had so far. Their dumplings with the chilli oil are also very good. The service is nice, but it's self-service, which is why we can't say more about it. The tables weren't really clean, which could be because the shop is busy all the time. You can check the opening times online, but it would be nice if the restaurant were open like usual restaurants. And be careful with the spiciness levels!!!

OMG 🤩 the Sichuan beef noodles and the little dumplings in the Sichuan soup are so delicious! Very friendly service who always gives good advice! Be careful, arrive early at 11:30 to ensure good seats. It is very crowded at lunchtime. Don't be put off. Order first and then you will always find a place. Highly recommended!

Best and most authentic Sichuan cuisine in Berlin. I absolutely “must eat”. Flavorful fireworks. And if you want it can be very, very spicy. A little complicated to order. Cash only.

Good morning LIU. In principle, I only write about locations and companies that inspire me, hence this restaurant today. Barely opened and the hut is already full... That speaks for itself. I’d actually give 5 stars for taste and authenticity of the dishes but there two major points I really disliked: 1. No card payment. Quite common in Berlin but hey in China I pay everything with my phone why not even card payment here? (Probably know why) 2. It’s so rushed. The waiter stood next to me as soon as I finished while my wife was still eating and mumbled under his breath “to himself” in German though his mother tongue was Chinese: ah I think they’ll be going soon” and it gave me these “we need the table please go once your wife is finished” vibes and I don’t think this is cool at all. So please let your staff know not to push customers through like cattle. Again: taste was great. I recommend the sichuan Zhajiangmian!

Very authentic Chinese restaurant where you can eat delicious noodles. I had the Sichuan Zajiang noodles and the beef stomach, both of which were very tasty. You had to wait in line for about 10 minutes at lunchtime, but it was totally worth it.

Very good noodle shop. You will have to queue for it but it’s worth it. It is not a place where you can stay and chat for hours. Very fast and cheap.

Closed and current opening times not online

There are gluten-free noodles (vermicelli), and the beef in the main menu is very soft. It was easy to adjust the spiciness, the noodles were boiled accurately, and the soup tasted good. The soup looks very oily and spicy, but unlike the picture, it is a refreshing soup with a rich flavor.

I traveled to Berlin today and chose this noodle shop to have lunch. Google Maps showed it was open, but I ran all the way there and found it was closed. Today is not a holiday, so it is understandable that it is closed for a holiday, but why not write about it on Google Maps? Travel Isn’t the guest’s time time? A lot of time was wasted in the past...

Not bad dishes. You can pay in cash or via WeChat. The cash register says we don't have change. If you don't like spicy dishes, don't ask for "less spicy", choose a dish without peppers near the name. There is not enough space, and you will be seated with other people if you do not come with four people.

We dropped by LIU while touring Berlin as we were missing Chinese food. Unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectation. The noodle was quite soggy, and the soup in the beef noodle was pure oil rather than soup. The place was very busy when we visited so we had to share a table with strangers. Not a dealbreaker whatsoever but something to keep in mind.

The homemade noodles with minced meat and hot-spicy sauce are incredibly good, you'll get addicted to them straight away. Be careful: level 2 is already quite spicy. The ambience is not designed to make you stay there for a long time. You have to expect a wait in line and for a table. A little tip: if you order in advance, you don't have to wait and you can pay by card.

This is absolutely my favorite spot for lunch! The food here keeps me coming back, and I find myself constantly craving it. While the limited opening hours and dates can be a bit of a downside, it’s worth working around them just to enjoy what they offer. This place has truly earned its spot as a go-to lunch destination for me!

If I eat in Berlin then it's there. It's so delicious and it's just nice to eat something so delicious among people. The atmosphere may not be for everyone, but I think it's great.

Best Chinese noodles in Berlin.

We found the food quite underwhelming and the prices clearly too high. The service was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself is quite tight. You can't leave the table by the window without asking the people eating at the next table to get up, which is unpleasant. Overall, unfortunately a disappointing experience.

The Lao Ma stir-fried hands are too salty. The noodles and soup of the beef noodles are good, but the meat is very poor. You can only use cash to avoid trouble.

Rarely have such delicious and authentic Chinese food been eaten in Germany! If you like it spicy, this is the right place for you! But be careful, the level of spiciness 2 is not for the average Western European palate.

I was excited for the food but was very disappointed to find a hair in my food. The restaurant did not give me a refund but gave me a new bowl of noodles, which I did not eat much... The worker didn't seem sorry and just rushed me to decide whether or not I wanted a new bowl of noodles. Would not recommend. My hair came out while cooking and they said they wouldn't refund me and just make a new meal. I got a new one, but it was so uncomfortable that I could barely eat it. The waiter didn't say a word of apology and urged me to quickly decide if I wanted to eat something new or not.

The food was very tasty 😋 I ordered online on the way there because you can't pay by card. That was a great fit. It was relatively full there, but you can sit down in free places. I had veg. Sichuan Zajiang noodles. My tip: don't order it so hot and then sharpen it as desired!

This place is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly delicious, and I make it a point to visit every time I’m in Berlin. The shuanla chaoshou is hands down my favorite dish—so flavorful and perfectly spiced. They also offer plenty of vegan options, which is a huge plus. Be prepared, though—this spot is popular for a reason! There’s always a line to get a table, so I recommend coming early. It’s absolutely worth the wait. If you’re a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine, you won’t be disappointed.

It was all delicious, we got Sichuan noodles with beef and zhajiang noodles, super tasty with the right balance of spices. Very friendly and nice staff, they were also very quick with orders despite the queue. Highly recommended!

Super simply designed restaurant with very friendly service and excellent dishes! From the first second we felt comfortable and in good hands. The dishes are excellent and incredibly tasty! Definitely a YouTube recommendation that was worth the visit! Because of the delicious dishes, you sometimes have to plan for a bit of a wait - but that's manageable, at the latest when you try the food

Being able to order online in advance for takeaway really helps with getting around the long lines during lunch time. Their noodles are consistently good and they're very efficient.
