Friendly service, good food, but for me/us, it could have been a bit more traditional. Mushrooms in the Caesar salad are the only dressing for the salad. The house dressing with mango or lime on pasta, etc., isn't to everyone's taste.

This was the best Italian I've ever had. Not just in Cologne/Germany, but the best Italian I've had in my entire life (and I've been to Italy 4-5 times already). Went for the "Bolo Romance" as I wanted to stay classic/safe with pasta bolognese choice but it ended being much more than just that... Flavorful, savory delish! Shout-out to the kind Spanish waiter working there with whom I had a nice quick chit-chat :)

We were greeted and served very warmly on Saturday evening. The food was absolutely first-class, very tasty. The ambiance was very harmonious, and the service was excellent. Since we were hungry, we became a little restless, but after a while, the server informed us that it would be ready in a few minutes. The wait was worth it; it was only difficult because we were so hungry.

We reserved a table for a stag or hen party as a large group – and from the booking to the end of the evening, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, the server was very attentive and took excellent care of us. The atmosphere was consistently pleasant and made the evening perfect.

The pizza was delicious, and the wait was very short. Only the dessert wasn't really my thing. Nevertheless, it was a very nice, lovingly decorated restaurant with very friendly service.

The kitchen is open until 22:00, as per restaurant policy, but actually even 15 minutes before 22:00 no orders are taken. Clients are ignored and when finally a waiter comes, they don’t take orders, even though it was still not 22:00. Very disappointing experience.

Contrary to expectations, this is a good Italian restaurant right in the middle of a mainstream street. Delicious food—pasta and pizza (truly Italian!)—and friendly staff. Kid-friendly! Absolutely excellent value for money. Would definitely go back!

The pizzas and the vibe are very nice but I have to deduct points for the service as it felt as if they were forcing us to buy drinks, starters etc. and at 40 euros for 2 people with 2 drinks and a pizza per person, that's a very high price.

I celebrated my birthday there with my girls. The servers were super nice and the food was excellent! A real treat. The ambiance is also really nice with the lights outside. The whole style is super cute there. The proximity to the Aachener Weiher lake makes for a lovely stroll after the delicious meal!

As soon as we entered, we were greeted so warmly that we immediately felt welcome. The chef himself took the time to give us a few recommendations and was incredibly friendly and attentive – not fake, but genuinely interested and approachable. The rest of the staff was also consistently friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. You can tell that the work here is done with passion – not just in the kitchen, but also in the service. And then the food... what can I say? Simply wow. Every course was a little taste experience. Fresh, creative, perfectly seasoned – you can taste that the cooking here is done with love. I really had the feeling that not only my order, but my entire evening counted for the team. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. If you love good food and want to feel completely at home, you should definitely stop by. This is definitely not a one-time visit for me – I'll be back!

Little Nonna is and remains my absolute favorite restaurant – and that's not just because of the best truffle pasta in town, but also because of the exceptional service that never fails to delight. I'd also like to single out Laura – professional, courteous, and always with a smile. The two of them make every visit special. The food is a poem every time – the truffle pasta is a dream, perfectly paired, and simply delicious. Even with a full house, everything remains relaxed, organized, and personal. I've been going to Little Nonna with my partner for the past two years – and for good reason: the quality remains consistently high. We always order the "Bread & Dips" as an appetizer – simply heavenly! The bread is very fluffy and the dips are delicious. My personal highlight is always the truffle pasta: incredibly creamy, perfectly portioned, and simply delicious. The trip to Little Nonna is worth it every time!

Excellent Italian cuisine in a modern atmosphere, very hip. Original menu, everything very tasty. Extremely friendly and well organized service. Decent portions, served quickly and hot. Good wines and great cocktails, not cheap. But value for money is definitely right. Always full, make sure to reserve. We'd love to come back again and again!

Hello dear Little Nonna team, I was with you on Thursday with a friend. I had promised her that I would show her one of the best Italian restaurants in town since she was from Bavaria and was in Cologne on business. This was her only free evening, which she dedicated to me and therefore to you. We arrived around 7:15 p.m. and after 10-15 minutes we ordered a pizza, a pasta and a bottle of water from one of the nice waiters. After talking for a long time, we noticed after about an hour that the food still wasn't there. When we asked, the waitress promised to check, but she said it should come soon. After another 15 minutes with no feedback, we called them again, but again, no concrete answers. We waited another 15 minutes, but since the waitress didn't come back, we finally had to get up and at the door the first waiter who took the order explained that the order must not have been forwarded to the kitchen. During the 1.5 hour wait there was no bread like every other guest who came after us and no one asked us if we would like anything else or took care of us. Everyone saw that we sat at the table with a bottle of water for over 1.5 hours. The lady in charge at the door overheard the conversation with the first waiter and showed understanding that we now wanted to leave and asked for our drinks. I think she would have given us these, but we only had water since no one cared about us. Unfortunately there was no literal apology for the omission, no proper explanation, just an understanding that we wanted to leave the restaurant. The mistake with the order can happen, but the question is how to act accordingly. This is my third time with you and I remember the service differently. Our long-awaited evening was overshadowed by this disappointing experience. The desire to continue the evening and find another location from 9 p.m. disappeared. I honestly don't know why we were so unimportant to you at that moment. I don't want to rule out overwhelm or too much stress, but everyone who came after us was served differently. We asked nicely twice, didn't get the feedback we needed and ended up even talking to you at the door. To you, we may have been just a few customers who left unsatisfied and without much stress, but for us it was an important evening that we had been looking forward to for a long time. Ultimately, our time in choosing you as a location and ourselves were not really respected.

Very nice shop. Food very, very tasty and high quality. Portions were completely ok, but if I had gotten two more ravioli, I wouldn't have said no 😉 Service was nice and attentive. Good menu with dishes that you know and some that you don't get everywhere. It's very crowded and loud, which isn't necessarily meant as a criticism, but it's something you should be aware of. I would rather come back at quieter times or go out on the terrace if the weather is right. Nice evening, thanks to the team!

Guests should not be addressed as “sweethearts”. You finally didn't go to school together. If you complain about it, you will get an unfriendly look and the table will be canceled. No go! The foreman who distributes the tables has an ego problem.

The two of us ate there and paid €57 for two main courses with pasta, including two bruschetta starters, which tasted pretty good but weren't particularly filling overall, along with two large drinks. The problem was that even though we arrived early, we actually had to wait a good hour at lunchtime, which then kept the meal time to a minimum Has reduced. During the week it was rather difficult for working people and the fact that the other guests at the neighboring table who arrived 3/4 hour later got their food before us didn't help to improve our mood. The service was nice, but they served way too late. What was annoying was the town musicians who suddenly appeared without being asked and at far too high a volume, making conversation impossible. The restaurant operators can't do anything about that, which is why I give it 3.6, or 4 stars rounded up.

Very friendly staff in a wonderful environment serving OK Pizza. The pizza is surprisingly average from and Dough perspective as well as from and sauce and cheese perspective. Maybe the oven was not hot enough to let the cheese melt into the tomato sauce. For me the food counts most in these reviews, that’s why 3 ⭐️.

Ärgerlich fand ich aber, dass bei der Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte drei ziemlich üppige Prozentzahlen (mindestens 7% oder darüber zweistellig) fürs Trinkgeld fest vorgegeben sind. Ich gehe davon aus, dass in einem Restaurant in Deutschland das Personal angemessen entlohnt wird und möchte selber frei entscheiden, welches Trinkgeld ich als Anerkennung für guten Service gebe.

The location is great. Directly on Aachener Straße. There are heaters for cool evenings, but unfortunately they weren't turned on for us yet. The service is friendly and quick. The starter with pizza bread and dips was outstanding. Pizza and pasta were very, very good.

My first visit to LITTLE NONNA… The restaurant looks very attractive from the outside and as I walked past I could see customers eating pizza. This looked very tasty and promising, which is why I spontaneously decided to eat a pizza here. At the entrance I was greeted by a sign asking me to wait until I was assigned a seat. The restaurant was empty except for a few tables and the receptionist was talking to a colleague at the bar. After they finished their conversation, she greeted me and told me I could choose a seat. On the evening I had enough time to take a look at the menu with a limited selection of pizzas. I chose the Pizza Vedura. This came to the table quite quickly and looked really great. The first cutting showed that the dough was not as crispy as it looked and was difficult to cut despite a sharp knife. The vegetables on the pizza taste slightly sour, which suggests that they were probably marinated in vinegar. At least I hope so! My conclusion: The pizza is nowhere near worth the hefty price of €16.50. I have never had a pizza with pickled vegetables served in an Italian restaurant before and I very much hope to never experience it again. The location of the store is great. The decor is very attractive and LITTLE NONNA would be very proud to have been the inspiration for this restaurant. However, she would probably be as disappointed with the food as I was. The people at the next table were also not satisfied with the quality of the dishes served. But just like me, the waitress here only stoically acknowledged the dissatisfaction. My first visit to Little Nonna and certainly my last!

Unfortunately, the restaurant 'little Nonna' couldn't convince me. The atmosphere and (seating) design of the restaurant were not my cup of tea, and unfortunately the food was even less so. I had a bolognese and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. The latter tasted quite... bitter? The pasta took a lot of getting used to. My companion, in turn, seemed completely satisfied. Nevertheless, you can also get other things on the menu that might not appear in every standard Italian restaurant - plus point for that. The restaurant has a convenient, central location near the Rudolfplatz stop.

The place is very nice . And the food Iis ok. The mystery I that the food ravioli and pizza came in 5 minutes. Normally these plates need more time and that made me suspicious.

We were here on Saturday lunchtime and luckily got a table for two. The food was great, particularly excellent: starter arrancini with Bolognese, main course lasagna and dessert cheesecake!! I had dinner at little nonna's on Sunday last week because I like to eat with you very often. However, I will avoid it in the future. I ordered the "Orginal Tomato" pasta and was quite disappointed with the portion. Less than usual and unfortunately no more whole burrata! It wasn't half but a quarter if anything, which really disappointed me since you still pay the same price! This is how you will lose your regular guests.

I was supposed to get pasta with Amalfi lemon and sun-dried tomatoes - but I was simply served pasta in tomato sauce in a pot. Absolutely no highlight in terms of taste. All in all, the price is very high for average food at best. Service was quick but not particularly attentive or friendly.
