The old watermill and the bakery are worth seeing. Sometimes they serve delicious mill bread.

We had lunch with the family and had the choice between 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. We decided on 11am. Lunch came very quickly and at the same time. The price is simply unbelievably expensive. There was nothing special in terms of taste that we would say would justify the price. Service was friendly. Mini golf course: The holders are scribbled on in pencil and the systems are outdated. Can this be cleaned over the winter? Overall it still looks relatively well maintained. Service was friendly. But the upper hammer still came: Riding a pedal boat, so €5 per person is already helpful. 7 people - 2 boats €27.50 for two boats with 30min? We had boat number. 4 and it was LEAKING at the front and also at the back, so that the person who saw it at the back even had to change the boat in the middle of the pond. How can that be? In the middle of May? Were the boats not cared for in the winter? Unbelievable! Children without life jackets... sporty... In our opinion, the great location is being exploited quite a bit. The only thing that was great value for money was the little hut with the waffles and coffee. The service was nice and it went quickly.

Easter family trip with disappointing, more like canteen standard, over-the-top food. 50 minutes of waiting time, with less business before 2 p.m., definitely too long. In addition, all the dishes ordered were not prepared a la minute because they were hot-laid dishes (braised dishes, tongue, boiled beef). As a negative example, instead of buttered peas as expected and suggested, these were Tk goods that had just been hot-tossed in salt water. Food served carelessly and cheaply on acropal dishes. Tafelspitz, with thin sauce, tasteless peas and 2 65g ready-made dumplings (23.50€!!!) Serving staff friendly, but due to lack of awareness unfortunately very low sales and not really interested. During the long wait we would have wanted to have more than one drink. However, I quickly got everyone's attention after I complained about my food, which I kindly communicated as a disappointment to my friendly service. Unfortunately, this only met with disinterest from management (although I wasn't hoping for a goodie or anything like that) Unfortunately, the only thing that counts here is quick commerce without placing any emphasis on complaints or reviews. Unfortunately, based on the positive reviews, I had excessive expectations P.s. I was a master chef and long-time owner of a hotel and restaurant, and I reacted differently to justified criticism. Very, very unfortunate

The price-performance ratio is disproportionate given the selection and the preparation of the food. The schnitzels come from the deep fryer, the side dishes are rare, and the seasoned meat tastes like chicken broth. Side dishes cost €2, and some of the drinks are warm. No, it's not worth a visit. We, at least, won't be eating there again. Sorry. P.S. This is just our personal and subjective opinion.

Highly recommended, great destination

We celebrated our birthday, it was very nice. The Rittergut is recommended. In the evening hours, the landlord could install lighting on the outside stairs.

I was here with my family for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is very good. We'll definitely be back.

We went for New Year's Eve dinner, price was not appropriate for what we got. 85 € and drinks had to be paid extra. The food was rather modest and small portions. The service was very good.

We were here today for Christmas dinner with the whole family. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant was fully booked and the service was very calm and friendly despite the hustle and bustle. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will be back next year.

There's nothing to complain about, the food was super tasty, the staff was very friendly, despite the big Christmas dinner rush, the service was completely fine. There are sufficient parking spaces available. In summer you also have the opportunity to go pedal boating, play mini golf, visit the mill museum or even test your senses in the Urrgarten. Always worth a visit.

Everything is great so far. The only problem is, if you don't mention right at the start of the event that you want to redeem a voucher, then you're out of luck and you'll take a voucher home with you. Even if this supposedly cannot be canceled in the cash register, with a little brains and will you can offset it elsewhere. After all, you weren't the only guests. What would actually have happened if you hadn't had an EC card or cash with you? So please be more flexible next time or ask for vouchers when requesting the invoice. 😉

Wir wohnen nur ca. 20km entfernt von diesem netten Landgasthof und kehren hier öfters ein. Diesmal bestellten wir 2xKarpfen blau zu je 22,50€. Die Portionen waren zwar etwas klein geraten, der Fisch schmeckte aber vorzüglich. Inkl. Getränke betrug die Rechnung 49,50€, ich bezahlte per Karte und übergab der Kellnerin das übliche Trinkgeld in bar. Erst am nächsten Tag bemerkte ich zufällig, dass von meinem Konto 59,50€ abgebucht wurden, also 10€ zuviel. Ich reklamierte per EMail, die Chefin entschuldigte sich für das "Versehen" und bat um meine Kontoerbindung, um mir die 10€ zurück zu überweisen. Inzwischen sind drei Wochen vergangen und ich warte immer noch auf mein Geld. Aber viel ärgerlicher ist das Gefühl, hier "über den Tisch gezogen" worden zu sein. Ich will nicht hoffen, dass andere Gäste auch so ein unschönes Erlebnis hatten oder ist diese Methode vielleicht typisch für Ausflugsgaststätten ohne Stammkundschaft, und älteren Gästen, die man eh nicht wiedersieht ?

The restaurant is highly recommended. To p Food, price-performance ratio is right. The ambience, both inside and outside by the swan pond in summer, is simply idyllic.

Always an event with you. Gastronomy is practiced here with heart and love. Nothing like that can be beaten anywhere.

A restaurant worth visiting with down-to-earth cuisine and normal prices. Very nice environment. Attractions such as mini golf, water mill and big fishing once a year. In between there are always small celebrations. Large hall with many events.

Very good food, service friendly and attentive. A small note, you should ask about payment before invoicing. We couldn't redeem our voucher. No problem, we'll be happy to come back.

Very good food and everything was clean

We were here today for the first time in many years. The food didn't really impress us. The two dishes were only lukewarm, which was probably due to the many guests at lunchtime. The potatoes were very firm and appeared to have been cooked a long time ago. The baked carp was rather very dry. The blue carp was also only lukewarm and to top it off the gills were still in the head. That wasn't very appetizing. We always remove these when we cook carp. We sat in the large hall. The background noise was correspondingly high. The price for both of our dishes was on the higher side, but we would have expected at least a warm meal . All in all it was an experience. But it's very nice to eat ice cream and go for a walk.

Pumpkin soup was very tasty and the food and drinks came quickly

We went for a walk here today and were able to eat ice cream at the street vendor. Coffee, bratwurst and other things were also available. We were surprised that it was open during these times and hope that you get through the lockdown well.

It was a nice dinner, everything tasted good, we were satisfied, we'll come back again in the summer when we can sit outside.

On the way back from Gnandstein Castle we stopped at the Lindenvorwerk excursion restaurant and had a small snack. The quark cake and the coffee tasted very good. Afterwards we looked at the small farm museum and that was fun. Afterwards we took a walk around the small lake and looked at the surroundings. The visit was also worth it. If you are nearby you should definitely visit the Lindenvorwerk.

I celebrated my 75th birthday with my family. Lunch and coffee were excellent, which the charming and friendly waiter rounded off with his attentiveness. Had a cozy afternoon/evening, as it was reserved for 12 people, there was a nice room just for us. The service regularly looked after our well-being. The food was plentiful and tasty. A successful day with family

I often come here with my grandparents and find the place very nice, even if the atmosphere seems a bit dated. There is also really good German cuisine, and I can particularly recommend the beef cheeks. The portions are decent, so the overall price-performance ratio is also very good. In summer, the terrace right by the lake invites you to linger. All of this is rounded off by the good, friendly service, which has also been provided by permanent staff for many years. Please keep it up, just sometimes fewer peas and more mixed vegetables on the plate.

I had lentil stew and sat in the beer garden! Fast friendly service, lentils were delicious!

Traditional restaurant with terrace and gondola pond near Kohren-Sahlis. Very good cuisine, interior design with regional pottery is special. The service staff responds to feasible special requests (candle on the table).

We were there in a larger group with 2 small children and felt really comfortable. When the weather is nice, you can sit right by the lake and to keep the children busy for a while, you can also take a few steps for a walk. We were particularly excited about the expertise and advice regarding food allergies etc., as this is really an issue for us. Without asking in the kitchen, we were informed about the ingredients and offered alternatives - unfortunately this is not yet a given everywhere. Thank you very much for that!! Everything was lovingly prepared and tasted really good. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back :)

Had dinner here today. Unfortunately, my pasture-raised beef steak was a bit overcooked. And for my taste, I think the chef is newly in love. Despite all this, the steak was of great quality. The service friendly and quick. Prices are local. The restaurant is idyllically located by a pond and invites you to linger. I will give the place a second chance. See you next time.

We went for ice cream. In itself it is beautiful there. It would just be better if there were more shade options in hot temperatures. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my sundae. It had nothing to do with a fruit room but rather a fruit accident. It's a shame... And just because you want a different type of ice cream you have to pay an extra €1.

Great excursion restaurant with cozy rural charm. The service was really great.. very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the meat in the lunch dish was mixed and thus detracted from the enjoyment. Well worth a visit in any case.

We were here as a self-help group and had therefore pre-ordered. We were very satisfied with everything and would like to come back.

Restaurant seems to rate by face. Apparently special requests are not welcomed at all. Salad very bland and boring, dropped food is put back on the plate with your finger. And overall way too overpriced. Nice ambience, nice surroundings. That makes up for it somewhat. Not necessarily again. A pity. The best thing to eat there is schnitzel with fries and a beer. Then it works, then you are welcome.

We always come here with the family at Easter and Christmas since grandma was too old to cook for herself. But it tastes like grandma made it herself. The solution with the large hall serves its purpose so that large families can find space and have a good meal. Staff always very friendly and able to handle the stress. Dogs are also welcome. For special occasions there is also a small room for 10 people where you can sit alone. We always like to come

The inn, beautifully located by the fish pond, is tidy and clean, the service was very friendly and competent. A tourist restaurant. The food was good, not special, I would have expected a little more individuality in the taste for the prices.

The cozy beer garden is right next to the gondola pond. The waitresses are quick, friendly and courteous.

How can you charge €18.50 for a schnitzel (frozen?) with canned mushrooms, the cheapest fries and a few dried-out lettuce leaves? Unfortunately, this dish won't make you famous. The waffle for the dessert with hot cherries and ice cream is also just warm and not fresh. (packaged from the supermarket)

It no longer has anything to do with a men's day pilgrimage site. A pity!!!!!!!!

The mill museum is also worth a visit. The prices of the food would of course also increase here. A lunch for two with drinks, around €50.

I've been there for years and I'm totally horrified and disappointed! I ate ice cream with my family and yes, what can I say! Firstly, no one came to order so I went in to order, secondly we waited 45 minutes for our order, thirdly the fruit sundae was the last thing you think of fresh fruit like in the menu in the picture, that's how it should look . We got ice cream with frozen fruit out of the bag. We will never go there again! Absolute zero number

Very good for a trip. Unfortunately the mill was closed. We visited the Lindenvorwerk together with Gnandstein Castle and Kohren Sahlis. Recommended for families with children.
