Limoncello in München

We visited Limoncello a week ago on a recommendation, as we had a person with celiac disease in our group – and we were pleasantly surprised in every way. The moment you step inside, you feel the warm, Italian atmosphere and the passion with which the team works. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely concerned about the guests' well-being – it's rare to find people who do their job with so much love. For starters, we had a mixed selection of ham, burrata, shrimp, and caponata Siciliana – the latter was an absolute highlight! So authentic, balanced, and aromatic that it evoked memories and emotions, as only truly good food can. A taste that touches and lingers. For our main courses, we had pasta with truffles, pasta with seafood, a classic carbonara, and a pizza with anchovies. Personally, I think the pizza was the best I've ever eaten – simple to prepare, yet so complex and harmonious in flavor that it simply makes you happy. A fantastic 10th anniversary celebration with a sensational five-course menu. Always very friendly. The menu was, of course, more expensive than regular meals. But it was definitely worth it.

The restaurant truly impresses, both inside and out—beautifully decorated. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waitress whose demeanor seemed rather unfriendly. Although we had reserved for five people, the table was only set for four. An additional place setting and menus weren't brought, and there weren't any in sight even after 20 minutes. Instead, guests who arrived after us were served in a friendly and prompt manner—while we were apparently perfect at appearing invisible. When we finally decided to leave, there was no polite inquiry about the problem or how something could be improved. Instead, we were condescendingly asked, "What's going on?" Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food, as we didn't even get a chance to order anything.

Surprisingly incredible. Initially, you might expect something shallow and lacking in quality. However… the food is unforgettable. The lamb was so tender it was like a pillow. The pasta was unbelievably perfectly cooked. We're outside of Italy. In the countryside near Munich, a 30-minute drive from the city center, it had all the makings of just okay. But it was incredible. There's absolutely nothing bad. The bread is amazing. The olive oil is premium. The beer is German (synonymous with quality beers). The service is friendly and attentive. I recommend everyone in this chain visit.

The food was very good, and the landlady is a real gem, super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is lovingly decorated. All in all, it was a wonderful evening. Prices are, of course, higher than at the "pizzeria around the corner," but reasonable in every respect.

I live next door and have trouble finding peace on warm summer evenings because the music and singing outside is too loud. When I ask them to turn it down a bit, I'm told, "It's a lovely evening." I don't normally mind music, but when it's so loud that you can hear it even with the windows and doors closed, I don't find it so pleasant.

We arrived at the restaurant around 5:30 p.m., just in time for opening, so our visit began pleasantly, quietly, and uncomplicatedly. The ambiance is very nice and sophisticated—stylishly decorated and inviting. Unfortunately, the service was rather patchy as the evening progressed; our drinks were forgotten twice and only served upon request, which significantly dampened the overall impression. The food was delicious, but the portions could have been a bit more generous for the prices. Overall, the prices are on the high side, which leads one to expect a correspondingly high level of service—unfortunately, this expectation was not quite met.

The restaurant is not 100% gluten free but have a good selection of glutem free dishes including pizzas. Usually as a celiac who is very sensitive, I dont feel safe eating at restaurants that aren't 100% gluten free or have dedicated kitchen for gluten free food. The servers were very knowledgeable and understanding with celiac which made me feel comfortable with it. I ordered a gluten free salami pizza. The food was delicious and did not cause any issues for me. If you have celiac disease and are looking for a place that has good gluten free food I suggest this place.

We were here for the first time and were very satisfied. The food is excellent. I ate taglionini with limoncello sauce...excellent. The service is courteous and friendly. A water was forgotten, but not that bad, it can happen...it was quite full. The prices are high, but not excessive. Price/performance is okay. I can only recommend “Limoncello”.

The restaurant visit was very nice. I cannot tolerate gluten and ordered a pizza and tiramisu. The pizza was very fluffy and super tasty, so highly recommended and the tiramisu also tasted very good. Thank you for the delicious food. We'd love to come back.

The food was very delicious, we ordered a 4-course menu and the first two dishes arrived relatively quickly but for the third we had to wait two hours and the waiter never came to tell us what was happening, in the end we spoke with the owner and she explained to us that there was a misunderstanding. Finally they brought us the third dish and for dessert it took 45 more minutes and the dessert was a disappointment because it was only a tiny piece of cake the size of a finger. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and left at 10:00 p.m. desperate and with pain in our legs. In general I thought the food was delicious, the service horrible and everything very very expensive. I wouldn't go again

The lamb chops were simply perfect: cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and full of flavor. I have rarely experienced meat of such excellent quality and precision in its preparation. A real pleasure that bears the signature of a master. The only downside is that the portions are quite small, so a starter is advisable. Here I can particularly recommend the scallops or the duck breast carpaccio - both taste just as convincing as the main course. Conclusion: Anyone who appreciates the highest culinary art should not miss this experience.

This Sicilian cuisine restaurant is a sensation!

We were guests on November 8th, 2024 with 10 people. Family dinner. Two families with adult children. Children (18-31) In the end, a very positive feeling. Restaurant has around 50-60 seats, we actually waited a long time for the drinks, about half an hour. Reservation was at 7:00 p.m. We ordered around 7:20 p.m. and drinks arrived around 7:50 p.m. And it didn't bother him that much but... Food was OK. It can also be better, especially in this price range. I can still warmly recommend this. It is ideal for 3-5 people. . A very positive thing to mention is that they have a large selection of gluten-free dishes. And even though we didn't all drink alcohol, apart from 4.5 people we got 10 limoncello on the house.

What happened to drink prices? Cola for €6, industrial beer €5.50 and water €5.90 (0.5 L each). And yet the store is relatively full. Our restaurateurs are pushing their limits to the maximum and our customers, who love going out and are price-insensitive, consume uncritically. How long will this last? Anyway, I'm out.

Super bad service. We ordered wine and radlers for our daughters, after which we got a comment that her daughter didn't drink alcohol? When we had to pay we were constantly ignored, it took us more than 25-30 min 😱 Ok food but we were probably also colored by the fact that we had just eaten at a good Italian restaurant the day before.

We spent a wonderful evening at Limoncello. There was very tasty gluten-free and vegan food. The gluten-free pizza was my personal highlight. I have never tasted such good homemade crust before! The waitress was very knowledgeable about food intolerances.

Tolle Küche und ein tolle Weinauswahl. Der Service ist hervorragend und das Essen einfach richtig gut. Wer allerdings Konvinienzprodukte aus dem Schlauch bevorzugt ist hier einfach falsch. Accidental discovery in the northwest of Munich. Great food, my pasta was the best seafood pasta I've had in a long time. The way it should be. The fish is also fantastic. I found the vitello tonnato with veal tongue exciting. Wine selection also great. Incredibly warm service. All in all between 4.5 and 5 - hence 5 stars

Bin am Sonntag um 14.20 angekommen (10 min. vor dem Schließen). In der Regel kannst gleich wieder weiterfahren. Hab trotzdem vorzüglich gegessen, erstklassiges Service, vorzügliche Küche, I war in viele Restaurants in Deutschland, so eine liebe zu diesem Beruf kannst mit der Lupe suchen..Absolut nur zu empfehlen!!!!! Sehr sauberes Ambiente, gutes Olivenöl am Tisch.. .Ein Stück Italien mit Herz mitten in München... Kann jedes Gericht empfehlen...

Sehr süßes italienisches Lokal mit glutenfreien Gerichten. Ich hatte eine glutenfreie Pizza. Der Boden war selbstgemacht und nicht aus der Packung. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Die glutenfreien Nudeln waren auch sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes italienisches Restaurant in der Verdistrasse. Terrasse nach hinten raus, Essen phantastisch, klassische original italinische Küche ohne Schnichschnack. Sehr gute Produkte, freundlicher unkomplizierter Service. Klare Empfehlung in München.

Die Portion Scampi mit Tintenfisch und Gemüse war für den Preis von knapp 30 Euro zu übersichtlich. 4 halbe kleine Scampi 3 kleine Stückchen Tintenfisch 2 Stückchen Broccoli und 5 Scheiben Karotten. Das ganze angerichtet auf 3 Löffel Kartoffelpüree aus der Packung. Das Tiramisu war nichts besonderes und für 8,50 Euro ganz klar zu teuer. Mich persönlich störte viel mehr das die Tische sehr nah aneinander gestellt sind. Von Privatsphäre am Tisch kann man nicht sprechen weil man die Gespräche der anderen Gäste unweigerlich mithören muss weil der nächste Tisch 40 cm entfernt ist. Für mich reicht der erste Besuch.

Podczas podróży zjechaliśmy z trasy do tego miejsca ze względu na menu bezglutenowe. Jedzenie smaczne, bezpieczne dla celiaków, ładnie podane. Obsługa trochę niedostępna, pizza mimo prośby nie była pokrojona, z jakiegoś powodu byliśmy obsługiwani inaczej niż pozostali klienci, bardzo długo czekaliśmy na rachunek. W ogrodzie sporo os latających przy stoliku.

Dieses Restaurant mit seinem schönen Ambiente ist eine absolute Empfehlung für ein gutes italienisches Essen in München. Es gibt dort gute Parkmöglichkeiten und alles in allem sind die Speisen und Getränke eine sehr gute Auswahl an italienischer Küche... Bei einem Aufenthalt in München sollte man es sich nicht entgehen lassen dieses Restaurant für ein leckeres Abendessen zu besuchen. Dieses Restaurant bekommt von mir fünf Sterne in allen Bereichen weil es das Wert ist....

Wir haben unsere standesamtliche Hochzeit hier gefeiert und waren mehr als zufrieden. Auch unsere Gäste berichten unabhängig voneinander positives. Uns hat (wie zuvor) das Essen, die Freundlichkeit der Chefin und Kellner und die ganze Ambiente gefallen. Gina (Chefin) und ihr Mann (Koch) haben sich wirklich sehr viel Mühe gegeben diesen besonderen Tag wirklich besonders zu gestalten. Das Essen hat wirklich fantastisch geschmeckt und auch die Weine waren das Geld wert. Wir werden weiterhin hier vorbeischauen. Danke euch!

Wie kommen immer gerne und schon seit vielen Jahren. Glutenfreie Pasta, Pizza und Tiramisu ist für mich ein Highlight, genauso wie der Lachs, die Trüffelpasta oder der Wein ❤️ Hinten gibt es einen schönen Außenbereich!

Die Salami wurde wohl vergessen und dann einfach nachträglich auf die Pizza gelegt. Außerdem war die Pizza sehr klein und geschmacklich unterdurchschnittlich.

Wirklich gutes Essen, leider schlechter Service. Haben 1 Stunde nichts zu trinken gehabt und wurden vom Service komplett ignoriert auch nach mehrmaligen bemerkbar machen.

Ich bin hier vor ein paar Jahren immer sehr gerne Essen gegangen, aber als wir vor ein paar Tagen da waren, wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Der Garten ist sehr schön zum Sitzen, deshalb auch ein Stern mehr. Es hat sehr lange (20 min) gedauert bis wir eine Speisekarte bekommen haben und generell hat alles sehr lange gedauert. Das sei aber verziehen, da die aktuelle Personal Situation durchaus schwierig ist. Uns haben vor allem die Pizzen sehr enttäuscht. Es hat nicht besser als eine Fast Food Pizza vom Lieferservice geschmeckt. Der Käse war nicht gut, alles sehr salzig und der Teig wirkte wie ein gekaufter Fertigteig. Ich habe nur die Hälfte gegessen, weil mir dann der Appetit vergangen ist. Die glutenfreie Pizza war noch halb roh und der Aufpreis dafür ist schon übertrieben. Wir hatten ein Nudelgericht, welches wirklich sehr klein war. Insgesamt einfach ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Leider sehr schade, weil das Restaurant uns eigentlich immer gut in Erinnerung war. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen, da es deutlich bessere Italiener in der Umgebung gibt.

Wir waren schon öfter hier weil es glutenfreie Pizza gibt, das Lokal und die Bedienung super nett ist und die Küche wirklich top ist!

Hervorragendes italienisches Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse.

Vorab das Gute: Das Essen ist perfekt und schmeckt super. Tolle glutenfreie Speisen. Leider trotz Reservierung und Hinweis auf besonderen Geburtstag war der Tisch bei pünktlicher Ankunft nicht frei. Das Restaurant war total überbucht und deshalb die Hälfte der Gäste die Tische durchtauschen. So geht Gewinnmaximierung. Die halbe Stunde Wartezeit im zugigen Eingangsbereich wurde immerhin mit einem Prosecco kompensiert. Tisch war durch Umzüge nur zum Teil aufgedecht. Bestellte Getränke erst nach langer Zeit und auf Nachfrage erhalten. Aufgenommene Essensbestellung wurde völlig vergessen und musste nach 1 Stunde ein zweites mal komplett neu aufgenommen werden. Alle nach uns gekommenen Gäste haben da schon gegessen. Essen nach 1,5 Stunden bekommen. War sehr sehr gut. Kompliment hierfür. Fehlende Löffel erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage erhalten. Erneut Getränkebestellung vergessen. Nachspeise erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage erhalten. Immer wieder vertröstet worden. Mitgebrachte Sternwerfer für die Nachspeise waren beim Servieren bereits abgebrannt, das Eis geschmolzen. Immer wieder halbherzige Entschuldigungen der Servicekraft und hinhalten. Beim Bezahlen nur eine Zahl ins EC-Gerät eingetippt. Erst auf konkrete Anforderung Bon erhalten. Leider hatte ich da schon gezahlt und den Bon bzw. die einzelnen Positionen nicht mehr angesehen. Nachdem ich mir dann erlaubt habe, den mieserablen Service insbesondere wegen unseres besonderen Anlasses anzusprechen war die Dame peinlich berührt und fühlte sich persönlich betroffen, da sie doch so einen Stress hatte und es ihr doch so schlecht ginge. Fragt sich, ob Sie auch mal an Ihre Gäste denkt. Als krönender Abschluss wurden wir dann noch auf dem Parkplatz von ihr heimgesucht und beschimpft. Ergebnis: Alle frustriert, weinender Geburtstagsgast und eine Servicekraft (angeblich die Frau des Chefs), die nur sich leid tut und der es so schlecht geht, dass sie Gäste beleidigen muss. Zuguterletzt habe ich Zuhause auch noch festgestellt, dass mehrere Getränke im Wert von 15€ doppelt boniert wurden. Dafür gibt es einen Begriff. Dann ist zumindest der Prosecco auch von mir abgegolten. Schade um das tolle Lokal mit dem super Essen. Aber die Servicekraft ist egozentrisch und frei jeden Könnens. Unter dieser Führung leider zum scheitern verurteilt. So geht man nicht mit Gästen um und anpöbeln geht gar nicht. Das ist unter jeder Würde.
