Liami Restaurant in Ramstein-Miesenbach

Went there for a special occasion and unfortunately felt like we were ignored the whole time. Sad to say we won’t be returning

DELICIOUS!!! Order the chicken flying noodles, it’s much more flavorful than the beef flying noodles. The PHO is excellent. It’s looks just as good as it taste 🤤

Very friendly staff. The food was very good and the portions were more than sufficient.

This is just my experience, the staff is very rude, passive aggressive, and do not seem to enjoy serving African Americans but will tolerate. Again this is just MY experience. I was behind two gentlemen ordering food and the waiter was very nice to both of them, when it was my turn to order she flipped a switch and was very short, cold, and very uncooperative. The chef behind the counter also continuously starred at me and refused to look away. After trying to tolerate the short answers with the constant gaze from the staff I decided to just leave. My wife and I have eaten here before and have had similar experiences. We will not be going back to this place, and again this is just MY experience. Enjoy.

Very nice areas both inside and out. The roof allows you to sit comfortably in the shade even in strong sunshine.

I definitely recommand ! The restaurant is beautiful, the mango juice was delightful, the food was really tasty and generous, the waitresses are wonderful and the prices are more than correct ! We had a wonderful time up there ! Surely the best restaurant in Ramstein area so far !!

We had our date tonight at Liami. It was my first time trying sushi and our waitress Hannah gave me a recommendation for a rainbow roll which was fantastic. Food is great customer service is second to none. I highly recommend this business

Definitely some of the best sushi in the area. I am a to-go regular. The waitress with the glasses can be a tad rude sometimes. And that’s typically who we usually get other than that we’ve never had a bad experience. If you don’t care about customer service, it’s definitely. 10/10

The food was delicious; we ordered everything from soup to spring rolls to sushi and rice dishes. The quality was really good, and everything was perfect. The service was also really good. We'd love to come back.

This is a hidden gem. Food was fantastic and service was great. I had the mango chicken and it was delicious. Serving size was huge and had plenty to take home. Food presentation was fantastic 5 star.

Upon walking in, I was amazed at the decor and the calming atmosphere. I did go in the early afternoon, so it was not busy. The restaurant appears clean, and the service is really good. I got the coco love veggie soup and the salmon sashimi and was very pleased with both. I will definitely recommend this place, as well as come back in the future. Also, the portion sizes are just perfect, and if you go, try one of the lemonades. I had the ginger lemon lemonade, and it was reshreshing after finishing my meal. I also got chicken curry to go, if thats not another indicator of how much I enjoyed this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I don't have much good to report. The food was okay, the drinks were stale (no carbonation), and that was twice with Aperol Spritz!! Afterwards, I tried an iced coffee, um, that came with hot coffee!! The scoop of ice cream melted immediately, of course. Someone should tell them how to make an iced coffee. Then the bombshell: it was Saturday night, we had to pay at 10 p.m., the lights went out at 10:15 p.m. (we were sitting outside), and then the door to the inside was locked, but we were still sitting outside and wanted to finish our drinks. At 11:45 a.m. we left... suddenly they called out, and after "Goodbye," really??? Do you know what hospitality is?? Never again Liami in Ramstein

Food was a bit pricy, but really tasty, we both got sushi and were happy with the portions and taste. I loved the mint tea

We love to stop by every Sunday after church service to have lunch as a family, the boys love the girls that work over there ❤️

This was a great place to eat dinner with friends. The atmosphere is good but can be noisy being that close to the train station. I would recommend this place to my friends in the KMC area.

My family and I have eaten here twice. The first time, the food was okay but quantity questionable. Our second visit was not so good. The food was poor quality and appearance was poor. The duck was gummy testure, food wasn't fresh, and small quantities. We really would like to support this place, please do better.

This place is a fun treat for anyone who loves good sushi! The chef must be an artist because the food presentation is always beautiful. They also are open at times when most other places are closed and parking is usually pretty easy. Highly recommend!

This place is great to get Korean bbq and more. It is a little pricey but the portions for dinner plates are large and filling (at least the chicken lover I tried). We have done the bbq twice now and it’s good, again a little pricey per person. The ambiance of the place is amazing - beautifully done!

One dish that absolutely cannot be missed is “The Ultimate”—a must-try sharing platter that is as impressive as it is delicious. Packed with an incredible selection of the freshest sushi and sashimi, it’s perfect for experiencing the best this place has to offer. Every piece was melt-in-your-mouth amazing! The service was just as impressive. The staff - (Our waitress ANH) was so attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made the experience even more memorable with their recommendations and warm hospitality. If you’re a sushi lover (or even if you’re not), this place is an absolute must-visit. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back.

I have been ordering to sit-in and takeaway at this place since it opened, usually every two weeks or so. I have watched, over the years, as it has declined from a solid 4/5 Sushi place (especially for rural rheinland-pfalz) to a meagre 2 or 3/5. It has gone from €15-20 per person to €30-40 in the last few years, whilst the quality and quantity of the many menu items has decreased. Tonight for example, every shrimp item contained significant shell, and the portions were noticeably smaller than they were only months ago. We have also found hair in the takeaway, and fish that tasted, looked, and smelled off. It's worth mentioning that as a regular local customer I am disgruntled with how drastically the quality has decreased over the years. This place gets a lot of NATO base customers and I believe they are being ripped off, even if you account for inflation, which is unnavoidable. One or two meals here are probably fine, but that's it really. Fine. It used to be special so it's sad to see it like this now. After four or five years (idk, I just know I've been going since the week it opened) I am no longer giving them any more money. Please do better.

As always, this place doesn't disappoint. It's my second time here, which is a rare thing for me. I look forward to coming back for more of the flying noodles. I'm sincerely addicted to it😅

Very solid all the way around. As far as cooking goes they do the little things right. Plates come to the table looking great and taste just as good at it looks. Parking is actually pretty bad

Sincerely I am really disappointed with the service... the waitress brought us 1 meal out of the two ordered, an oversight can happen it's not a big deal, the second meal arrives 10 minutes after the first (sloppy, without any decorative presentation...) waitress does not know the menu or the sauces available to advise us… we ask for an additional sauce (paid) which arrives 15 minutes later, we had already finished the dish, at 9:30 p.m., she comes to clear the table for us taking the plate I was still eating with...! We felt like we were in a hurry, we had to leave... No respect, zero service, no smiles from any employee, no goodbyes, paying 60€ for two for such poor service (yet there were almost no customers for a Saturday evening...), the meal was good but we won't come back again, it's a shame. Too expensive for such a bad experience… A warmer welcome, smiles and respect for the customer would rhyme better with the quality of the meal served... word to the wise :)

Good food, everything was fine. Prices seem a bit higher to me. Service was excellent, attentive, friendly, very hardworking. The restaurant was very busy when we visited. The noise level was almost as extreme as at Oktoberfest. When I ask, this seems to be normal, which is a shame. Especially since the level can be significantly reduced through relatively simple measures such as noise-insulating panels.

Okay tasting food but high prices

We were trying the BBQ Grill today. Whaat can I say.. y’all are the best and i think one of the very first bbq spot in Ramstein. Meat was fresh, portions are large that we were so full at the end. The service as always very nice staffs were very friendly. Guys it’s worth a try 🔥🔥

This is now our favorite sushi spot in the area, and we've been to a few. We got the Almost Naked rolls that come with a chili vinaigrette dipping sauce, the sushi for two dinner, and the toddler got the chicken skewers and fried rice. They were all tasty, but the skewers does come with a peanut sauce on the side (no allergy here, so no problem). The atmosphere was lovely. Dimly lit but not too dark, with music that's appropriately loud. The indoor tables are high quality, heavy wood tables with padded bench seating, and there is a large outdoor seating area with heaters. It would make a lovely intimate date night place. The staff was exceptional, very American friendly, and were *very* kid friendly, probably the friendliest I've experienced so far in Germany. My kid wanted some social interaction, and they routinely came by to say hi, and even brought him a toy. They were genuinely very sweet, and handed him a lollipop as he walked out the door. We'll definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to anyone staying near Ramstein AFB.

My daughter will enjoy sushi with me… however, my son will have chicken and sweet potato fries. Not bad but not what I’d eat at a sushi restaurant.lol

Really enjoyed the pho here and the staff was really kind, even went out of their way to help a young child who was getting cranky, food arrived pretty quickly and was arranged to be inviting. Drinks were great and everything about my experience went awesome. Was just really hot inside. Worth trying though.

Unfortunately, the quality (food, service and friendliness) has decreased. Food and especially ice cubes for drinks are handled by waiters with their bare hands. (Also with bubble tea) No washing hands after collecting cash and clearing away. Glove box for decoration only. Only one in three employees can smile. Too bad.

Food is always amazing. We have been there 5 times and each different meal is better than the last! Fresh fish that is top shelf. Staff is very on top of everything and the sushi chef only seems to use the highest quality fish. Very affordable for the large portion size. Our new favorite place. Try the Mango Ice Tea!!

Food was great, have a choice for all people chicken, fish, and vegan. The GPS may take you behind the back way use WAZE it will get your there.

Great Sushi restaurant with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The prices are reasonable. They offer sushi, main course dishes, and have vegetarian and vegan options.

This is my go to date night! The sushi is delicious the presentation entertaining and engaging, and the staff are all kind and attentive. My husband and I fast for our date night so we can order their Ultimate (it's meant for 3 people but we are barbarians) and it's the highlight of our month every time! Their outdoor area is lovely, their interior dining area is cozy and romantic. We also love their tuna tartare as a appetizer and boba tea as a treat.

What a great place to eat. They have labeled vegan dishes and the food was served fast and hot. The food was fantastic. The fishes were very creative and tasty. They service is great and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is in a very central location, but just behind the town of Ramstein. I highly recommend it@

I want to give the restaurant staff a shout out for integrity and honesty. From the bottom of my heart I am so grateful for good people that found my sons iphone and kept it safe for 2 weeks. He finally remembered the last place he remembered using it amd when i called it qas kept in a safe place! Great people and great service and Great food. Thank you again for taking care of his phone!

Came back accident looking for a business that moved, but was not disappointed! They have a great lunch menu with lots of variety.

A gem of a place. Reasonably priced for German standards. A decent selection of sushi 🍣 and Vietnamese cuisine as well. The pho is delicious and the service/atmosphere I awesome.

Super lecker. Wusste nicht was zu erst probieren.Hat den Erwartungen voll und ganz entsprochen. Bedienungen sehr freundlich und aufmerksam trotz vollem Haus. Auch keine längere Wartezeiten bei Vorspeise und Hauptgang. Ein nächstes Mal gibt es ganz bestimmt dann mit der ganzen Familie.

It has become a bit pricey. But if I feel like splurging I never have any regrets because it is very delicious! So many good dishes to choose from.

Sushi is always good here. The noodles are good also. We've been multiple times and it hasn't disappointed yet. Even when they got our order wrong they corrected it.

It was a bit cool in the restaurant. If the outside temperature is 10°C, it would probably be warmer inside.

Tonight must have been an off day when it came to wait staff service. We are frequent customers and always enjoy the hospitality when we are there. This visit was god awful. We got seated quickly but I think they forgot us. Finally we ordered drinks but during the process she was very impatient waiting for us to order. Rushed us to order food but took forever to get our bill. Very disheartening because we enjoy this restaurant.

Needed a place for lunch and this was one of the few open this time of day. We were visiting our son and DIL for Christmas and finally getting around to writing my reviews. They were at work so we were checking out the town. When we walked in we realized we had been there before! They often come here for lunch after church. It was a cold, rainy day…perfect for pho! I had the lunch portion and it was the perfect size. Hubby had meal-size portion and could not finish. Our son had curry chicken and loved. Cute atmosphere and good food! Oh, and we started with spring rolls…yum!

Ichwürde sagen: ausgezeichnet... beim Zubereitung geizen sie nicht mit dem Fisch, wie in viele Sushi Restaurants.

I love Liami’s!!! A must visit when I’m in town. The service is great and the sushi is insane. Love it!! My only criticism is that one day they accept card payments and the next day they don’t. That needs to be consistent!! Other than that, highly recommend.

Ich war sehr enttäuscht über die Portionsgröße. Für 21 Euro könnte man mehr Erwarten. Der Teller bestand Hauptsächlich aus einfachem Salat... Das Hauptgericht Ente (21€) besteht lediglich aus 7 sehr dünnen Streifchen Ente.... Der Nachtisch Eiskaffee wurde lieblos in einem Cola Glas serviert... kein Strohhalm oder Löffel dazu.... Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich aber einen weiteren Besuch ist es mir leider nicht wert.

Stopped in here for lunch. There were a lot of options. I tried a spring roll, sushi, pho, the lychee drink, and some tea. Would definitely go back to try more. Very cozy inside with all the decor.

I had been craving bowl of Pho since moving to Germany and came upon this place. Really, really good! Reminds me of my grandmother’s pho.

Flavors and Service are spot on! Was our first visit, but plan on going back a lot more times for some great Vietnamese food!!
