The Thai Restaurant LemonGras Potsdam is located at Benkertstrasse 21, 14467 Potsdam. The aforementioned restaurant, housed in a quaint brick building, serves Thai curries at wooden tables and in a cozy outdoor area. We recently enjoyed various Köstritzer and Königs Pilsner beers. They were delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful, socially competent, and very valuable. It's also worth mentioning that Ms. Schulz is still available. Stay away. Expensive for what you get. Small portions. We left hungry after having two entrees, three appetizers. Ingredients described on the menu never show up on the plate. Entrees are gone in a few bights. 5th worst dining experience in the past twenty years. Cash only suggests they should be reviewed by the finanzamt.

Authentic, delicious, great service, and clean! The homemade lemonade is a drink recommendation, and the food is the same. We had an appetizer (chicken salad with mint) and four different main courses, all very tasty. 😋 The restaurant is very cozy inside with untreated natural wood, and outside there are shaded tables on a very quiet street. The only drawback: no card payments.

I didn't really like the Kratiam Prikthai. It had little garlic or pepper flavor. Unfortunately, the small portion didn't fill me up either.

I went there twice as a tourist, on Friday with three people. The service was super nice and friendly. The food was very good on Friday and Saturday evenings, and the prices for the Potsdam ferry were reasonable. Price-performance ratio was excellent. Thank you.

Was very happy withe the food (good vegan options) , but atmosphere wise it was a bit too crowdedand loud and everything - reservations definitely recommended at this point!

We came for dinner and had booked a table. Arrived about 1/4 later than planned and was the second and later only table that Thursday evening. When we had finished eating and I wanted to order a glass of wine, they said we had to leave because the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. So no more wine either. The tone of the two female waitresses was very harsh, and we were basically thrown out on the street shortly after 9 p.m. The food was tasty, but nothing special, just good, normal Thai cuisine for tourists. The 2 glasses of tap water were charged at 0.50 euros each. The other prices were mid-range. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!

Small but nice! Super nice staff, very hospitable, even for children and also respond to customers' unusual requests. The food is TOP, even if it's very seasoned 💪😎 We were 10 people, including 3 children aged 3-8. My first question, whether there would be fries for the kids, as they can be quite picky, was answered nicely but very firmly with "No, we are a Thai restaurant". Very consistent 👍and completely okay in my opinion, even though I had concerns about the discussions I could now prepare for with the kids. However, this was completely unfounded, the two smaller ones made do with pasta (very tasty) and the older one even tried meat, which he would never have eaten at home and also found it very good. The rest of the group also found suitable dishes and were also completely satisfied with them. Only I couldn't decide (actually not my style), but there were so many delicious things and some things I wanted to try. So I decided to let the kitchen surprise me. However, when I said this when ordering, the waitress (probably the boss?) looked at me with wide eyes and said that it was normal to have something recommended, but it was probably the first time in her 25 years in the restaurant that she had to choose something for the customer herself. Well, the second faux pas for me this evening but still with a happy ending. The children really enjoyed everything, even if there weren't any fries, and my surprise dish (crispy duck with vegetables and rice) was really the tastiest thing I've eaten in a long time, even if my mouth was burning a bit afterwards. But it was worth it to me 😎 In the end there was enough for a very tasty dessert. 👍👌❤️

An incredibly beautiful evening, with great dishes, which were very tasty in every detail and left a feeling of vacation. I personally liked the atmosphere, clear and tidy/clean. If you like it more playful, you might not get your money's worth. The service was excellent, unobtrusive presence best describes it. There was never a lack of food or drinks. So gladly again and gladly at any time.

Not too spicy (Massaman, even green curry worked well for us and we don't eat spicy much). You can tell that everything is freshly prepared, and very careful attention is paid to any intolerances, and the dipping sauce was freshly prepared for us with less pepperoni - very friendly service! The vegan soup was lemongrass to die for. Large vegan selection, we would love to come back tomorrow! 2nd visit: good again, the basil sorbet and also the mango sorbet blew us away 😍 soooo good! Half eaten in the photo 😅 Our dog was also welcome ☺️ What bothers us, however, are the really high prices, which are disproportionate and then only cash is taken. Especially when it comes to simple dishes, I think they are too expensive. The curries, soup and spring rolls are really good; other things average. With a bill of €200 it's a bit rude to only take cash, and my father is a bit upset that his 19% is going somewhere... After the first visit we were delighted; After the second one we say we won't go there anymore because of the last points.

I've been there several times and am always amazed by the delicious food. You can eat inside or outside, it is very nice and lovingly decorated. For lunch there is a menu Monday-Fri with a small starter soup + main course

I had dinner here with my family on my birthday. We really enjoyed it ☺️ The food was very tasty, the portions were so good that you could also enjoy a dessert without feeling overfilled at the end.

Snack quality. Far too expensive for that. It tastes good, you can eat it. But overrated, in my opinion. Dry side salad, sauce watery, duck smelled slightly spoiled. It was definitely not fresh. Squid like rubber. You had to look for basil with a magnifying glass. The staff is not really welcoming. False, forced kindness. Nothing comes from the heart. Neither the service nor the food.

It's beautifully located right in the Dutch Quarter. The service staff is very friendly, the food is delicious. Marked as spicy is actually spicy *uff* I had the king prawns in a spicy curry. The restaurant is also authentic and rustic inside. However, you can only pay in cash. Parking is difficult.

Very fresh food with very friendly staff and a chic atmosphere. The toilets are also in perfect condition.

The three of us had dinner here and we were thrilled. The service was very friendly and everything came to the table quickly. The dishes were very authentic, tasted good and were generously portioned. All in all, I think it is a very authentic and cozy Thai restaurant in Potsdam. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside on the terrace, which gives you extra points for the ambience. We'd love to come back!

Wonderful. The food is great, there are lots of vegan options (check the website), the service is attentive and comes often and quickly. Everything is beautifully prepared and tastes great. We drove to Potsdam from Berlin and were not disappointed. The waitress was really happy when we mentioned that we both like spicy food! But we didn't dare to use "very spicy" -- but we'll do it next time because the spiciness was still very European, there could be more. I really want a restaurant like this in Berlin.

I was able to make a reservation for New Year's Eve at very short notice, but ended up arriving an hour earlier - no problem, very flexible and friendly hosts. The food was great, even for a guest experienced in the best Thai cuisine. Extra requests would be gladly fulfilled. The wine selection is also convincing. A wonderful culinary end to the year, thank you! I had very good experiences with this restaurant years ago, and they have now been repeated. If I'm in Potsdam, I'd love to come back. We recommend! Perfect cuisine, great menu, attentive service

Tastes just like in a train station snack bar, watery sauce with some meat and vegetables for €20 The only thing that justifies the price is the Dutch Quarter. No card payments in 2023 Ps. The owner gets personal and says that I have no idea about Thai cuisine, but there are several reviews that say the same thing. Maybe improve their quality and don't skimp on the ingredients and spices.

We really enjoyed it as a birthday meal after visiting Museum Barberini!

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches und authentisches Thai Restaurant. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist groß, die Mitarbeiterin waren alles sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Preis Leistung top. Wir mussten nochmal los weil keine Karte Zahlung möglich ist, der Platz wurde frei gehalten und wir konnten das Essen genießen. Evtl wäre es in der heutigen Zeit doch ganz gut karten Zahlung zuermöglichen. :)

Das Essen war eines der besten thailändischen Gerichte bisher und das Ambiente wirkte sehr authentisch.

Wir waren spontan da, da wir erst dachten wir sitzen beim Italiener. Es war aber alles super. Service sehr sehr höflich und immer gelächelt und das Essen war sehr lecker. Eine gute Schärfe und schön frisch. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Potrawy bardzo smaczne. Jedliśmy kurczaka z ryżem i orzeszkami nerkowca z bardzo dobrym sosem pikantnym ale nie ostrym - Gai pad med ma - muang 18.90 euro, kaczkę pieczoną z ryżem Geang phed ped yang 19.90 euro oraz makaron z owocami morza ten mógł by mieć trochę bardziej wyrazisty smak tym bardziej że cena dość wysoka 21,5 euro. Generalnie polecamy dobra lokalizacja i obsługa. Minus za brak możliwości płacenia kartą .

Wir gehen öfters dort essen. Das Essen ist immer lecker und authentisch. Chefin und das Team äußerst nett. Immer wieder gerne.

Puh - also das Essen war solides Thai Food, aber der Preis war wirklich abgehoben. Ich denke, hier ist man nur auf Touristen aus. Wir werden bei nem knapp 20€ Phad Thai wohl nicht wieder kommen. Kein Wunder, dass online keine Preise standen…

Das Essen ist lecker und authentisch. Das Ambiente ist relativ einfach und die Tische stehen ziemlich eng. Der Service ist auch bei komplizierten Gästen mit Sprachproblemen geduldig.
