Leandros in Hamburg

Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant. We had reserved the bowling alley in advance for a celebration with around 20 guests and expressly agreed that we could bring two cakes with us - for the agreed basket fee. But as soon as we arrived we were greeted unfriendly and reprimanded for the cakes we had brought with us, as if we had done something forbidden. Instead of a polite clarification, we were ignored at the counter and every attempt to clarify the situation was rudely blocked. We were even accused of lying and insulted - a completely unacceptable way to treat guests! This was particularly disturbing for the children present, but the entire circle of friends was also stunned by this disrespect. In addition, we were unpleasantly suggested several times to eat in the restaurant, even though we specifically only wanted to rent the bowling alley. This intrusive manner only reinforced the negative impression. Such disrespectful and customer-unfriendly behavior is unacceptable. If you value friendliness and hospitality, you should avoid this restaurant! We will never set foot in this restaurant again and we will also complain to the sports club to which this bowling alley belongs.

Pleasant family atmosphere. Service very nice and attentive. Main courses thoroughly recommended. Prices are average. Consistent quality over the years.

The food was so-so. The sheep's cheese from the package was quickly warmed up. The filet plate was also quite clear, the dessert for almost €9, two scoops of vanilla ice cream with lukewarm cherries from a glass (morello cherries) could also be saved. The restaurant is relatively expensive, but we didn't find the quality of the food reflected in the price. The service was also very slow and, above all, inattentive! We sat in front of empty plates and glasses for over half an hour. We also had to wait a long time for repeat orders. We went to the front for the bill... since no one came. Staff was friendly and nice. We won't eat there anymore. Too bad.

I think Leandros is the best Greek restaurant in Hamburg. Anyone who complains here doesn't understand how difficult it is to find staff these days. The owners are tearing themselves apart. The shop is always very busy and many are regular customers, like us. Portions huge and the food is so good…

On Tuesday November 12th We went bowling there in 24. An employee welcomed us very, very unfriendly and we had to wait forever for the food. Even when paying you were served rudely and rudely by the same unfriendly employee.

Very high prices for poor quality. The bifteki is super soft, the minced portion is very little. Adulterated drinks containing water are probably not a new rumor here, nor is the underground service. Food served lukewarm as many others here have already described. Gyros cut very coarsely, greasy and slimy instead of crispy. I'm from the hotel industry myself and I have to say it's good that this restaurant is located far, far away from the center of Hamburg. 0815 Greek would be too much praise!

Typical “I pay 100% price for 20% quality” Greek. Prices increased - quality reduced. After 2 hours the food we ordered came lukewarm... I live 900 meters away. Called after 90 minutes. Woman on the phone cheekily lies that she was just about to call me. The driver doesn't speak German, rings the bell for all the neighbors... then shows me the receipt and asks if that's my name. Awkward

“He is a character” … and that’s a good thing! Very authentic host with great quality and no “Greek monotony”. Anyone who appreciates quality is in good hands here - from the quality of the food to the excellent Metaxa! We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back soon...

The service is no longer what it used to be and you should be very careful about what you pay when billing, as it is not calculated correctly.

Unfortunately it's no longer the top Greek restaurant it used to be! The prices have been increased drastically this year and unfortunately no longer match the smaller portions. We had the feeling that maximizing profits came way before guest satisfaction. Two examples: The starter platter consists of 3 slices of fried zucchini, 3 slices of fried aubergine, a fried pepper, a small fried sheep's cheese wedge and 5 tablespoon-sized dollops of dip. Price: 17.50. At other local Greeks you can get stuffed grape leaves, seafood salad, etc. in addition to the dips and peppers for significantly less money. When paying, the second thing you notice is that in the future you will be charged money for packaging the uneaten food ("doggy bag"). So would you rather save money and throw away food? Furthermore, (very friendly) parts of the team have obviously been replaced and unfortunately the smiles have now disappeared from most employees' faces. Making an appointment by telephone is somewhat reminiscent of communicating with German authorities: "When? How many people? Name?" We will switch to the other local Greeks in the future. It's a shame, because LEANDROS was once the absolute number 1 in the forest villages!

I am grateful to have discovered this Greek restaurant by chance and to have learned to love it. From the hospitality to the food, it's just a well-rounded affair. And I have rarely eaten so well. I even like the salad there. Which has always been a thing since childhood :)

We have already tried several Greek restaurants. You feel in good hands with Leandros. The food is super tasty and not overly seasoned, like some others. Are very satisfied.

We went bowling there and it was really fun, which is why we got two stars. An employee who served us was so incredibly rude that it really spoiled my mood. How can you work in a job like that and be in such a bad mood? And only cash payment on weekends? Why ?

We celebrated a 90th birthday here, I was "only" a guest, but I noticed how well the arrangements worked out, so that the adjoining room could be designed really beautifully. The older guests in particular were well looked after. Access with a wheelchair is no problem and oh yes: finally a restaurant with plenty of free parking spaces. Now to the food: simply top and super! Really high quality and tasty. Normally I often have stomach and intestinal problems when I eat Greek. This was my first visit to Greek without any problems! I particularly liked the gyros meat and skewers as well as the antipasti starters (grilled eggplant and zucchini), there was a buffet for us with almost everything on the menu. Drinks were brought quickly and the ouzo was also very tasty. My highlight at the end was also the Tartufo dessert! The two waitresses (owners) were super nice and really charming. Gladly again!

Not a cheap restaurant, but reasonable price/performance ratio. Very nice service, delicious dishes, generous portions. Located right on a small lake, great for walking the dog and then having a delicious meal. Dogs in the restaurant are no problem. When the weather is nice, it's better to reserve seats. Update: Restaurant packed, service very annoying. Hopefully an exception.

The food was very good, that's why we like to go to Leandros. However, minced meat dishes are often very salty and you are absolutely inflexible when making small changes. If so, everything is only possible with a hefty surcharge. We know this differently from other Greeks. The employees are friendly and approachable at any time. Parking is very good, you can always find a parking space right in front of the restaurant.

I'll never go there so rudely again

I can't even put it into words. I am speechless about the sensational fish quality... It's possible...to get high-quality fish in a Greek restaurant. Everything is just right here. From service & ambience to food... I can only recommend everyone to pay a visit to “Leandros”.

Over and over again with pleasure. Very good, fine, fresh and authentic Greek cuisine, meat is of exquisite quality, price performance is absolutely justified. Owners are a real force and thoroughbred hosts. Staff is polite and very friendly. A real pearl of Greek cuisine! Go people, go!!!

I was very positively surprised. Normally, as a vegetarian, I often have problems finding what suits me, especially when it comes to Greek food. I really got full here, everything tasted very good. The service was a bit overwhelmed with our large group and some orders arrived incorrectly or not at all, but I thought that was only human.

We spontaneously stopped at Leandros as part of a bike tour. Really good, very friendly and fast service. The food was really great and at normal prices. We sat on the large outdoor terrace in the best weather. Wonderfully quiet and surrounded by greenery. We will definitely come here again!

We run a restaurant ourselves and were happy to spend our only day off in Leandros. Four of us were here during the week and got a nice place. The restaurant owners are always nice and friendly There was some time between the starter and the main course, which we found very good. So we were able to enjoy everything and chat. Here you don't feel like you have to rush. Tob Restaurant can easily be recommended

Ist eine Gastronomie nicht wie ein Verkauf ???? Wir sind einer Empfehlung gefolgt. Dieses Restaurant muss noch viel lernen. Für die Gästeanzahl waren ausreichend Mitarbeiter da die sich kümmern könnten.... So etwas profanes wie Knoblauchbrot steht nicht in der Karte und kann somit auch nicht angeboten werden ???? Der Salat zum Hauptgericht kommt vor der Vorspeise ???? Die Mitarbeiter gehen mehrfach an unserm Tisch vorbei ohne z. B. nach weiteren Getränken zu fragen. Wir werden wohl eher nicht mehr zu Gast sein.

We went bowling there. Nobody came to us voluntarily to ask for drinks or food. When we did get something to eat, it was very tasty, no question about it. No message à la “Last order”, we were simply complemented with the words “Now it’s closing time”. As a farewell, a waiter dropped a dirty knife on my light-colored clothes. Can always happen. Not a word of apology, or even an ouzo on the house. It was just the wrong reaction.

It's a great, nicely decorated Greek restaurant, with delicious dishes. Every piece of meat was tender and juicy. We were there with 17 people. When we made the reservation, we ordered the Leandros platters, fillet platters, fish platters, fries, potato chips and rice. One was served in advance Salad plate. There was hardly anything to complain about, except the potatoes were hardly salted, which isn't particularly healthy, and there was tzatziki. Of course the service (very good and nice) also included ouzo. They were very generous here and there were 3 pieces for everyone! All in all, it was a nice 4 hours that we colleagues spent there. You also have the option of renting a bowling alley for €20 an hour. Maybe next time, because we will definitely come back, whether with a small or larger group ... Thank you dear Leandros team!

Good Greek with a nice selection of food.

Very nice, bright restaurant. We were there around 4 p.m. and got a table straight away. The service is very good, from ordering to eating went very quickly. The portions are large, we had the fillet platter for 2 and that was completely sufficient for us. The quality of the meat was also very good. All in all a nice restaurant and it wasn't our last time there.

Leckeres Essen, große Portionen. Allerdings auch nicht günstig. Das Restaurant ist groß und kann gerade bei gutem Wetter im Aussenbereich sehr voll werden. Es stehen viele Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Es kann über den Wald aber auch gut mit dem Rad oder zu Fuß erreicht werden.

Das Essen war ok aber sehr teuer. Atmosphäre wie in einer Bahnhofshalle . Ungemütlich und auch nicht besonders freundlich.

Tolles Essen Große Portionen akzeptable Preise Sehr netter aufmerksamer Service. Von außen ungewöhnlich aber von drinnen gemütlich.

Achtung: akzeptieren keine Kreditkarten und auch nicht einmal VISA Debitkarte. Schade zu sehen, dass es immer noch Wirte gibt die versuchen beim bezahlen ein paar Cent zu sparen und die Kunden lieber auf die Jagd nach Bargeld schicken. Hoffe dieses Feedback hilft diesem ansonsten tollen Restaurant dies zu korrigieren.

Ich hatte Garnelen in Knoblauch mit griechischen Kartoffeln bestellt. Die Garnelen wurden mit dem Kopf serviert , was ich unpassend fand, weil diese eh nicht genießbar sind. Also, was sollen die denn auf meinem Teller? Die Garnelen hätten für meinen Geschmack knuspriger gebraten sein können. Sie haben mir so aber auch gut geschmeckt. Was gar nicht ging und das habe ich dort auch bei der Kellnerin kund getan, waren die griechischen Kartoffeln. Da ich bereits bei anderen griechischen Restaurants solche gegessen habe weiß ich, wie griechische Kartoffeln normalerweise schmecken könnten. Hier wurden anstelle frischen Kartoffeln, die nicht teuer sind, übrig gebliebene Kartoffeln in der Mikrowelle mit Soße aufgewärmt. So jedenfalls mein Geschmack. Meine Kritik dahin gehend ist bei der Kellnerin ohne Kommentar geblieben. Auch meine Begleitung, die hier schon des öfteren essen war, war nicht zufrieden. Das Gyros vom Grill war fade, da ohne jegliche Röstaromen und somit überhaupt nicht knusprig! Auf unsere Anmerkung dahin gehend wurde uns gesagt und jetzt kommt es: DAS hätten wir gleich am Anfang extra so bestellen müssen. Was? Woher soll Gast das denn wissen? Eine Info darüber an uns, wäre äußerst hilfreich gewesen! Also, um Ausreden nicht verlegen und diese dann zukünftig ohne uns und unser Geld.

Man....unglaublich... Ich bin an diesem Restaurant -besser gesagt an der Einfahrt zum Restaurant, denn dieses liegt etwas weiter zurück versetzt am Ende eines großzügigen Parkplatz- bestimmt ungelogen 1.000 mal vorbei gefahren, denn es liegt auf einer von mir fast täglich genutzten Straße... Ich wusste, dass es Leandros heißt und schloss daraus, dass es wohl mal wieder irgendein, griechisches Restaurant -Abteilung Standard und durchschnittlich- sein wird.....falsch gedacht!!!..... Das Einzige, was mir schon immer aufgefallen war, ist der Umstand, dass das Firmenschild nicht das sonst so übliche "griechische Blau" im Logo bzw. im Schriftzug hat....Wie auch immer, durch Zufall hat ein Mandant mich angerufen und mich um ein Gespräch gebeten, welches dort stattfinden sollte...Sonst wäre ich da wohl leider auch niemals hingefahren...... Unglücklich ist nämlich, dass man das Restaurant nicht von der Straße oder der Einfahrt sehen kann....man muss auf den Parkplatz fahren und am Ende sogar noch mal rechts rum, erst dann gelangt man zum Restaurant... Leute, ich habe mich im Nachhinein richtig geärgert, dass ich da nicht schon viel früher mal einfach rauf gefahren bin, um das mal zu checken...und nun mal zu den Fakten: Das Restaurant ist sehr schick und stylisch und alles andere als "ein Standard Grieche" mit irgendwelchen Malereien von Windmühlen und weißen Häusern an den Wänden (nicht dass mich das sonst stören würde....nur damit ihr Euch das vorstellen könnt)... Nicht mal die sonst so übliche "Überakzentuierung", durch das Verwenden von blauer Wandfarbe, ist hier anzutreffen....nee, es sieht hier einfach anders aus....und das steht dem Restaurant gut zu Gesicht. Das Restaurant hat 2 Außenbereiche, welche wirklich sehr schick und modern sind. Der eine Bereich ist ziemlich groß (ich würde sagen ca. 30 Tische) und befindet sich auf einer Art Empore, ist also etwas "höher gelegt" und der andere Bereich ist ebenerdig und hinter dem Restaurant gelegen. Dieser Bereich hinten ist eher etwas "rustikaler", zumindest habe ich das so wahrgenommen. Und ich glaube innen gibt es auch mehrere Bereiche die abgetrennt waren bzw. abgetrennt werden können. Alles in allem ein räumlich sehr großzügiges Restaurant. Unsere weibliche Bedienung war super freundlich und unfassbar umsichtig und aufmerksam und obgleich die "Hütte mega gebrannt hat", war keine Spur von Hektik oder Planlosigkeit zu erkennen. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut (kam auch überraschend extrem zügig), es war attraktiv angerichtet und nicht -wie leider sonst so oft- lieblos auf den Teller geballert. Die Portionen waren nicht übertrieben, aber trotzdem mehr als ausreichend. Das Tzatziki (schreibt man das so?!?), war nach meinem Empfinden etwas schärfer, als sonst gewohnt, aber absolut lecker.....Nur das gereichte Brot, welches zwar selbstgemacht war, musste ich beanstanden, denn es hatte eher die Konsistenz von einem Ziegelstein, als von frisch gebackenem Brot...Aber wir haben sofort eine neue "Ladung" erhalten und sogar noch 2 Ouzo als "Entschädigung". Fazit: Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant, in einer herrlichen Umgebung mit viel grüner Natur, einem See / Teich in Sichtweite und gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Auch wenn wir nicht jede Woche herkommen, trotzdem wird der Gast hier zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und heiß. Gastfreundschaft wird in jeder hinschicht groß geschrieben. Vielen Dank an das gesammte Leandros Team. Und für die Leute (Nörgler) wenn es euch dort nicht gefällt Kocht zuhause euer Essen selber und lasst euren Frust nicht an den Menschen aus , die euch Tagtäglich einen schönen Tag/Abend bereiten wollen. We were on a bicy tour and came across this beautiful place. The vegan options are not many, but really great and the food tastes like a home cooked meal. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff were nice, friendly and informative about the dishes and were able to recommend/point out the veg options for us.

Ein sehr gutes Griechisches Restaurant. Sehr schmackhaftes Essen mit großer Auswahl an diversen Gerichten. Der Vorsalat schmeckt auch sehr gut. Es gibt diverse Sitzmöglichkeiten. Im großen Innenraum oder auf der großen Terasse oder auf einer kleineren Terasse mit Teilüberdachung. Es gibt auch einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Das Restaurant liegt ruhig.
