The food is of outstanding quality! The traditional Chinese dishes, in particular, impress with their authenticity and flavor. We truly wouldn't have expected such a high standard from such an unassuming bistro. It has now become our absolute favorite Asian restaurant – highly recommended!

As a big fan of Asian cuisine and equipped with a lot of understanding and tolerance for service when things go wrong, my spontaneous visit to Le-Wei was a complete mistake. Even though there were only six or seven people there, no one came to take our orders for ages. After that, it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The spring rolls I had as an appetizer were burnt and had the consistency of bricks. Ordering a second drink, as was necessary, was impossible. The main course: My noodles were sticky, hot on the outside, cold on the inside, probably taken straight from the freezer into the microwave and then fried in a wok. My companion's duck was rather rubbery. The whole event cost €55.00 and lasted an hour. Never, ever.

Unfortunately, the new Le+Wei isn't great. Long wait times, stressed-out waiters on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and the food isn't great.

The restaurant thoughtfully prepared a perfect Mid-Autumn Festival set menu. Thank you. The stir-fried green beans and the beef stew with potatoes are highly recommended.

Today, I had a reunion dinner with friends at Lewei for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The food tasted good and was served quickly.

Two people can eat from one portion. Delicious, plentiful!

The food was good, but the previously available lunch menu has been discontinued. It offered a reasonable price for lunchtime meals. Now, you have to either order the dish from the regular menu for a significantly higher price (with a slightly larger portion), or you can choose one of two warm dishes from the display at the previous price. Unfortunately, the nearby competitors are now significantly more attractive in this regard.

Four of us were there for dinner. The starters were good, but the main courses weren't. The taste wasn't impressive, and unfortunately, half of our meal was left over. Not recommended. The ambiance is also rather lackluster, and the kitchen seemed very messy.

Wonderful food and cocktails! We ordered pork baos, century egg with tofu, stir fry aubergine and mapo tofu. All of it was amazing and the spiciness and numbness of the mapo tofu was the highlight of our meal. After the meal, we didn’t feel heaviness even though we ate quite a bit and we were full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for yummy Chinese fare.

There are fewer and fewer dishes, the prices are getting more and more expensive, and the waiting time is getting shorter and shorter. I had to wait 30 minutes for a cold dish, which is amazing

I can't describe everything that happened.. just let it be..

Phew, not my thing, baked chicken was extremely dry and there were very few vegetables on the curry plate. The Gong Boa tasted good, but the sauce was very sticky and thick. There were no vegetables at all except meat and lots of nuts.

The food at Lê & Vi is really delicious. However, you have to have a lot of patience. Six of us were there during our lunch break. The first one got his food after about 35 minutes, the last one after over an hour, even though dishes from the lunch menu were ordered. In addition, the floor was glued like in a disco. All in all, unfortunately I couldn't enjoy my meal anymore.

Was here for the first time today. I like to eat Asian food often. I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I had chrispy chicken. The meat was a breaded chicken schnitzel from the deep fryer. A catastrophe. The vegetables could have fit on a spoon and the peanut sauce doesn't taste like peanuts at all. The service was tried but not really professional. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant for Asian cuisine lovers

Very tasty food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere.

Unfortunately the food was lukewarm and nothing exceptional. Inside the room there is a very strong smell of deep fryer fat and there is a strong smell in every corner. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. We waited forever and were sometimes ignored, and it has to be said that there wasn't much going on. Overall grade: sufficient.

We were at Lé & Vi today and had great expectations, which unfortunately were completely disappointed. As main courses we ordered the “Asian ravioli in red Thai curry” and “Chicken in mango-coconut sauce”. The absolute low point of the evening that ruined everything was the raw chicken in the mango coconut sauce! I even took a photo of it to prove it. Something like this should never happen in a restaurant. The “Asian ravioli in red Thai curry” wasn’t even really warm. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she ridiculed me and told me that it couldn't be. At least she brought me a new portion afterwards - 6 dumplings and the Thai curry sauce separately - but that should have been fine from the start. This was definitely our first and last visit. Spending hard-earned money on poorly prepared food is simply not acceptable. Absolutely not recommended!

A very delicious Chinese restaurant. It’s great to be able to eat Chinese food outside. The environment is very nice and the staff all speak Chinese.

This restaurant delivers an authentic Chinese dining experience with traditional décor and a menu full of regional favorites. The bold flavours and fresh ingredients make it a true taste of China.

Beautiful environment and delicious food.

Le & Vi offers a diverse, not too large selection of classic Vietnamese (e.g. pho soup), Chinese (e.g. stews with beef or pork belly) and neo-Asian fusion dishes. In particular, the braised pork belly and the Gao Chicken (diced chicken breast with spring onions and roasted peanuts in a sweet and spicy sauce) were exceptionally good! Our friendly waitress was also very committed and looked after me and my group of friends very well. The only point of criticism I would criticize is the partly poor cleanliness in the dining area (unmopped floor with stains and small food residue). However, since it was my first time visiting the restaurant, it's okay to turn a blind eye to this. Therefore, I would still give the restaurant 5/5 stars in my overall rating. The restaurant really impressed me from a culinary point of view, especially the Chinese part of the menu. I would definitely come back! :)

A single disaster!!! We really enjoy eating Asian food and often (we are experienced), but everything we ordered was terrible. Even the wine was corked. It couldn't be worse. We also told the waitress the same thing. Her reaction: oh okay. It was very unappetizing 🤢 Don't let the pictures fool you. The pho was a joke. Absolutely disappointing.

I really can't recommend the restaurant. Not at all. We were there on a Sunday evening and half the restaurant was empty. The service staff was totally stressed and sometimes actually jogged around the store to get everything done. We had Vietnamese spring rolls as a starter and I was able to watch the "chef" throw them from the manufacturer's plastic bag into the deep fryer live in front of me. That's exactly how they tasted. The main courses were crispy chicken with peanut sauce or red curry sauce and vegetables. The chicken was just regular chicken schnitzel thrown in the deep fryer and cut into strips. Again: that's exactly how it tasted. Like German breadcrumbs. Just like a schnitzel. Bone dry. The vegetables would have fit about two tablespoons and weren't particularly crunchy, to put it mildly. My companion's peanut sauce was just as watery and tasteless as it has already been described several times in the comments. My highlight was the side salad. It was simply a pre-cut mixed salad (lettuce, cucumber, carrot, corn) from a bag like you get in the supermarket. It was probably supposed to be Asian with sprouts, but there wasn't enough fresher sprouts than a forkful from the jar. The service staff actually drove the convenience food into boxes with a hand truck in front of everyone. I thought I wasn't seeing properly... The store is decorated carelessly and without a concept. Functionless wine refrigerators are on the floor hanging from wildly wired power strips. The menu is made of printer paper wrapped in crumpled cling film. We didn't have any forks on the table. My impression was that no one in charge, such as the tenant/owner/operator, had seen the store from the inside for a long time, and it was only kept running by student service workers. The latter managed to operate despite the worst hectic times. I don't recommend anyone to eat there.

Food and price/performance ratio top.

So I don't understand the reviews that say it's expensive here - we haven't eaten so well and cheaply in a long time. The portions were large enough and tasty. The two of us paid 45 euros with a starter and home made lemonades. There are delicious Asian-made cocktails. The Asian rigattoni are a hit but the duck was also super crispy and good. The dishes could have been a little warmer, that's my only criticism. The ambience is furnished in a canteen style with wooden benches and stools but is completely sufficient for a quick, tasty meal. The service is not the fastest and sometimes there are language problems because not everyone speaks German and/or English well. Since we have to be very careful because of allergies, we contacted the chef directly but everything worked out well in the end. The food came promptly and tasted really good. A lot of Asians ate in the restaurant, which for me is always a sign that the food must be good.

Le & Vi is our favorite restaurant. Very good food (now with an expanded menu!), freshly prepared and attractively served. The ambience is also very good.

I had the best experience with ordered food here - with Vytal boxes everything stays nice and fresh and doesn't cost anything extra! Tastes like it was eaten locally.

The lunch menu is advertised on Facebook as "from 5 EUR", but when asked, the cheapest dish cost 6 EUR. The dishes are not freshly cooked, but are prepared. The friendly service told me that the dishes could also be combined. I accepted that and tried two dishes. However, both dishes were listed at full price on the bill. I didn't expect that. Maybe this knowledge will help others not to fall for this too. I will definitely never go here for lunch again. Overall, unfortunately, my worst experience at Lê Vi. :/

The first time we were here in 2019, the food was really tasty. Unfortunately this time was bad. I ordered crispy chicken with the peanut sauce but chicken was not crispy and peanut sauce had no flavor even like peanut colored water. My husband ordered the most expensive one but was also disappointed. Lots of vegetables but there was very little meat and it didn't correspond to what you should really get. We made mistakes by looking at reviews earlier because many people complained about deterioration and unfortunately that's the truth. Food from 2019 and now is very incomparable and deteriorated. It's a shame that the restaurant can deteriorate so much.

The food was good. But expensive. I won't go there again. I want to find the happy medium, there isn't one. The staff was friendly but not overly...

Pho Bo Soup was disappointing as it didnt have as much flavour as you would expect. Besides that the Service and other foods were quite nice. The Drinks were a highlight. The interior is very warm and welcoming. Overall its a good restaurant to dine at.

Small but modern restaurant within walking distance of the city center and the Erlanger Arcaden. There are sufficient paid parking spaces available. Food tasted good but nothing special. The lunch menu including a 0.2 liter drink is comparatively expensive at around €12. Personally, the lunch menu just didn't have enough food on my plate. I wasn't full and wouldn't come back. Friendly service; Card payment possible.

Ordered to go for the first time after Corona today. You can tell straight away that they are new owners. 16€ paid for: - A mini portion of salad, not even a handful. - The same thing with the vegetables, which felt like they weren't even 50 grams and were completely overcooked. - And the duck was completely dried out and fatty, you couldn't get any worse quality. Maybe. Eating locally at the table is better. But I've already managed to do that and I'll definitely never go there again.

To be honest, the food was very tasty, but the staff was unfriendly. After the meal I wanted to pay with the card. However, only cash payment is possible in the restaurant, which shocked me. I find it strange to be in a restaurant in 2024 Not being able to pay with the card. Above all, this is nowhere to be found, for example as a sign, in the entire restaurant. My cell phone was even taken from me as a deposit when I wanted to get cash from the car.

Food came an hour late. Plus everything was already cold. In addition, a dish was missing and the lady on the phone couldn't offer us anything. She refused to refund us or deliver the dish to us. 0 points!!!

We had the excellent crispy chicken. Friendly and quick service. Exceptional industrial style ambience and absolutely fair price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

Food is so-so, the prices for the authentic Chinese dishes are quite high. It was also quite busy and the poor (and only) waitress was understandably stressed.

The bicycle parking facilities in front of the restaurant are great. It's nice inside, I really like the ambience, especially the large container doors on the wall or the fancy food elevator :D Unfortunately, the vegan food selection is not very large. There were a few dishes. But they mainly only differ in the sauces. I still enjoyed it, lots of tofu! Free chili, if you wanted something spicier, there was also :) I would like more vegan starters and desserts. Still recommended if you don't need a large vegan food selection. The rest of my team was happy!

Asian dumplings are a nice starter with a great avocado sauce. The Krispy chicken with mango-coconut sauce is very good.

Service very friendly. The food is super boring, was significantly much better before Covid. My Pho was just warm water with noodles. No aroma nothing... Atmosphere more so-so. Quite fresh and radio in the background. The old dishes were also replaced with a Chinese menu. I would almost say that only the name remains, the rest died in 2021.

Initially great, now a flop! Before the Corona period, Le&Vi was a unique restaurant in Erlangen with interesting fusion cuisine. The service and value for money were excellent. The service is now subpar, the employees don't understand you (poor knowledge of German) and therefore can't answer any questions about the dishes. Portions have become smaller, especially when ordering take-away, with prices remaining the same or increasing. Unfortunately, I will refrain from visiting Le&Vi in the future.

Great food... varied... Not cheap but you'll get full... It couldn't be better... Usually quite full... Went there again on Sunday. The food is also great. Great idea for a mini pho as an appetizer. It wasn't that full either. Update 01/18/23 Enjoyed the Mini Pho again last night. Homemade drinks are recommended. Yesterday we had mango lassi. Really delicious. And then the red crispy curry... wow. The rice somehow had a slight pineapple note... excellent. The Pho pictures are of the big Pho. Update as of 11/18/23 There were three of us there. Two of us had a Pho. We had a great night as a result. We threw up several times and couldn't even keep water in. We informed the restaurant via Facebook that something was wrong with the pho. No reaction. We would have liked to call, but no one answers the phone anymore. Therefore only 1 star... Unfortunately no longer recommended.

Rarely have I had such bad peanut sauce. Poorly seasoned and something in the sauce curdled (see photo) so it was so crumbly. The staff was friendly and served me quickly. My place at a kind of bar table with bar stools didn't invite me to linger comfortably. In general, the restaurant is beautifully styled.

Schaut zwar stylish und modern aus, das Essen ist aber eine Katastrophe. Vorspeise: 2 panierte Shrimps für 5 Euro. Hauptgericht: Crispy Chicken bestellt, eine geschnittene, panierte TK-Hähnchenbrust bekommen. Auch die fertig-Erdnusssoßea; alles war convienience Ware aus der Metro. Service war nett.

Vor Corona eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Erlangen. Hat leider im Service, Essen und Ambiente extrem abgenommen. Sehr schade. Vorsicht: Karte hat sich komplett verändert. Sie bieten extrem viel chinesisches Essen in der neuen an.

War das erste Mal seit der Neu-Eröffnung mittags wieder im Lê&Vi. Die Location ist echt schön und gemütlich, der Service nett, die Speisekarte groß :) Ich hatte das Hähnchen in Zitronengras-Sauce, hatte ich noch nie und schmeckte auch ganz gut, allerdings hat mir die gewisse Würze gefehlt. Würde aber noch einmal hingehen und vielleicht ein anderes Gericht ausprobieren

Leider nach der Coronapause stark nachgelassen. Das Essen ist noch immer gut ( 4 Sterne) kommt aber bei weitem nicht mehr an das frühere Niveau heran. Der Service, früher erstklassig, war die letzten beiden Male, die wir da waren vollkommen konfus und überfordert. (Zum Mittag erst nach 20 min bestellt und die Getränke brauchten dann noch mal 15 min).

Edit 2023: Leider die letzten 5 Male (2x Lieferung, 3x vor Ort) nie zufrieden gewesen; Qualität hat spürbar nachgelassen, Lê Rolls nach neuem Rezept um LÄNGEN schlechter als die original Rolls von früher; Gemüse immer noch gut, aber weniger "teures" Gemüse; Pak Choi z.T. komplett vergessen; Hähnchen extrem dünn und deswegen z.T. zäh gebrutzelt; Ente einmal mit Knorpel. Lieferessen sehr durchwachsen. Vor Ort klasse Service und besseres Essen (okay), aber qualitativ auch hier kein Vergleich zu früher. Leider.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gute und schnelle Küche. Auch in vegetarisch oder vegan. Leckere Tees und Cocktails.

Die Portionen sind leider sehr klein. Das Essen ist aber meistens sehr lecker. Persönlich finde ich nicht gut, zwei Speisekarte zu haben, einmal für Chinesen, einmal für Nicht-Chinesen.

Service ist eine absolute Katastrophe!!!!! Wir saßen zu 4. über 20 Minuten am Tisch direkt im Schaufenster in einem fast leeren Lokal und wurden von der Bedingung nach dem uns 2 Katen gebracht wurden ignoriert. Diese unterhielt sich nur dauerhaft mit einer anderen Kollegin hinter der Bar und räumt nach geraumer Zeit mal einen Tisch ab. Somit ist uns der Geduldsfaden gerissen und sind ohne etwas bestellt zu haben nach insgesamt 30min Aufenthalt in diesem Lokal wieder gegangen. Fazit NIE WIEDER!

Super leckeres Essen. Waren schon seht oft dort. Frisch und tasty. Hole da oft auch was zum mitnehmen oder gehe auf eine snack hin. Wiederholter Weise waren wir da und wieder völlig zufrieden. Ich muss ehrlich zugeben es gibt wirklich nur eine einzige Sache die mich ungeheuer stört: man kann nicht mit EC-Karte zahlen. Finde das in einem Lokal was abends immer voll ist und lege Umsätze macht etwas schwach. Update Jahre später: wieder mal dagewesen nach langer Zeit. Immer noch sehr sehr gut. Hat an Qualität nicht verloren. Waren völlig zufrieden. Der Hotspot hat zwar nur teilweise funktioniert und die zwei Bedienungen waren ziemlich am Rennen aber es hat im großen und ganzen alles mal wieder sehr gut geklappt. Ein Nachteil ist der noch, dass es dort wirklich ist sehr sehr, sehr laut ist wenn viele Leute da sind. Macht sich unterhalten etwas schwieriger.

很好的一家。中国人德国人都爱吃。中国人去了有中文菜单。菜也很好吃。我出差来这里，连着吃了两天。哦哦对了。喝的东西也很有特色，很多德国人专程来喝东西。

The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere, to dine with some common asian dishes (Vietnamese and Chinese) and a nice selection of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Furthermore, the staff was really friendly and approachable. And finally, the restaurant offers card payment possibilities.

Meine Edamame waren kalt und sahen schon sehr verblasst aus. Hatte ich so noch nicht gesehen... Das Essen meines Mannes war warm, aber irgendwie hatten wir uns alles etwas interessanter vorgestellt. Fertigsoßen drüber... naja, das kann ich Zuhause auch. Wir haben wohl verpasst dieses Restaurant zu besuchen, als es noch besser war. Der Service war okay und hat sich bemüht.

Schade, dass die Qualität nach der Neueröffnung so stark nachgelassen hat. Früher war Le & Vi ein vielversprechendes Konzept, leider sind die Speisen nur noch im unteren Durchschnitt anzusiedeln.

Früher war ich öfters hier, das Essen war immer lecker. Mein letzter Besuch war aber der letzte, das Essen hat furchtbar geschmeckt. Die Speisen sind noch die gleichen aber hier muss es einen Besitzerwechsel gegeben haben. Ebenso war die Wartezeit sehr lange und viele Tische sehr schmutzig. Ein No go!

Vor der Schließung vor ein paar Jahren war ich hier öfters essen, war immer lecker. Leider kann ich das heute nicht mehr behauptet. Habe mir das Essen liefern lassen... Die Asian Ravioli waren komplett durchgeweicht, da der Plastikbecher, in dem sich der Dip befinden sollte, geschmolzen war und sich dadurch alles verteilt hat, auch geschmacklich waren sie relativ neutral. Die Black Duck war ziemlich trocken und allgemein könnte da etwas mehr Soße dabei sein. Der Ducky Thai Salat war komplett matschig wodurch er fast ungenießbar war. Bei der Hanoi Bowl hat irgendwie der Komplette Geschmack gefehlt, ein wenig Gemüse und trockene Nudeln, darauf ein paar Frühlingsrollen. Die Verpackung im allgemeinen ist extrem unbedacht gewählt, kein Plastik etc. finde ich gut, aber wenn dann das halbe Essen an der Verpackung klebt und auch nicht entfernt werden kann da sich sonst das Material mit ablöst sollte man über eine Alternative nachdenken oder dann einfach keinen Lieferservice mehr anbieten, da diese Probleme im allgemeinen laut anderen Rezessionen ja nicht nur bei mir auftreten. Der einzige Lichtblick war das Gong Bao Chicken, das war gut, aber wie schon beschrieben konnte davon einiges durch die Verpackung nicht gegessen werden. Alles in allem sehr ernüchternd. Vielleicht ist es ja vor Ort anders aber liefern lassen war das erste und letzte Mal...

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Sie haben sehr viele asiatische Biere und Erfrischungsgetränke auf der Karte und das Essen war wirklich lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und super freundlich.

总体来说水平还是可以的，几个菜看着也比较精致，环境也比较好，就是堂食油烟有点大，每次离开都一身的味道。 他家我喜欢的菜： 所有的鱼片菜（酸菜鱼/藤椒鱼/水煮鱼，肉嫩分量很足味道不错） 红油肚丝/卤牛肉/口水鸡/酒酿圆子（分量很大，当甜品四个人吃不完）/麻婆豆腐（很正宗味道） 不太喜欢的菜： 辣子鸡（味道和辣子鸡没什么关系啊，建议大厨去纽伦堡friends house参考下他们的做法，差距有点大，口感很硬没有香味，我都吃不出是鸡，以为是隔夜炸肉） 金汤肥牛 （好像有点怪怪的，不是记忆中该有的味道，不挑剔的话也能吃） 鱼香茄子做的也很不错，但相对个人口味有点油，毛血旺好像一般，蚂蚁上树挺好吃的，应该还有改进的空间….其他的等我想起来再写吧
