Boy, that was a disaster. I wish I could say something constructive, but I can't.

It takes over 2 hours from order to delivery. The portions were very small. The price/performance ratio definitely didn't fit. The side salad was dry. The oriental rice was rice colored with cucumar. Overall, everything was very disappointing with various main courses and starters.

Unfortunately, the food is very bad. We left everyone as if there was nothing good, and during Ramadan, no one can drink anything other than water... Yalanji cans taste so bad that even children couldn't eat anything 👎🏻👎🏻 I don't recommend it

Our food was OK, the taste and portion size were just enough considering the price. However, the service was subpar, not unfriendly, but far from any hospitality and as a guest I don't have to put up with snarky comments.

Everything was very good, but unfortunately the skewers weren't completely cooked through, but they were fried straight away.

It was our first time here and we were lured by the beautiful pictures online and thought we would give it a try because we enjoy Lebanese cuisine often. UNFORTUNATELY I have to honestly say we wouldn't go there again. Food came really quickly (there was nothing going on except for 2 people), which is why it probably tasted more like it was thawing. Portion was also rather small than OK. Hummus was great. The salad was missing olive oil and we only got bread when we asked for it. The ambience is quite nice but I have to agree with someone else whether the artificial flowers fit. It's a matter of taste.

Das Layalina in der Kramerstr. in der Altstadt ist ein kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit libanesischer Küche. Es ist schlauchartig angelegt, gefliest und man bezahlt hier direkt an der Kasse am Eingang. Wir hatten reserviert, was auch an diesem Freitag Abend notwendig war. Was direkt auffiel war, dass die Tische aufgrund der Bodenfliesen nicht immer gerade stehen und kippeln. Es war zu beobachten, dass der ein oder andere Tisch im Restaurant etwas unterfüttert werden musste. Der Service ist hier sehr freundlich und auch sehr bemüht, allerdings auch quasi unsichtbar, nachdem abgeräumt wurde. Der Fliesenboden dürfte auch nicht ganz unschuldig an der Lärmentwicklung sein, denn als sich das Restaurant füllte, wurde es ziemlich laut. Und das ohne das hier große Gruppen am Start wären. Die Getränkeorder, Aperol Spritz (7,9€) und 1 Flasche Wasser 0,75l (6,9€), kam recht zügig an unseren Tisch. Vorweg teilten wir uns, auf die Empfehlung des Service hin, die „Mezza 2“ (29,9€) mit 3 Personen. Hier bekommt man 11 mit den verschiedensten Mezza gefüllten Schälchen und genug Fladenbrot dazu. Alles insgesamt sehr lecker und auch mehr als ausreichend. Als Hauptspeise orderten wir einmal die „Kafta“ (14.9€) und die „Fleischplatte vom Grill“ (26,9€). Die „Kafta“, knusprig gebratenes Rinderhack, waren lecker, aber für meinen Geschmack zu trocken. Da Saucen in der arabischen Küche scheinbar unüblich sind, war das Gericht, die Beilage war luftiger Reis, insgesamt eine recht trockene Angelegenheit. Da konnte auch das Schälchen Hummus nicht viel retten. Bei der „Fleischplatte vom Grill“ war die Hähnchenbrust und auch das Kafta ein wenig trocken. Alle anderen Fleischstücke waren aber in Ordnung. Insgesamt hatten wir im Lyalina aber eine schöne Zeit. Dass der Service nach dem Abräumen quasi unsichtbar war, war für uns an diesem Abend kein Problem, da wir alle viel zu satt waren, um noch einen Nachtisch zu probieren. Knappe 4 Sterne … beim Rinderhack und der Hühnerbrust gibt es am Herd aber noch Verbesserungspotential …

The ambience in the restaurant looks nice and cozy. The service is also friendly at first contact. When I complained, this changed to "annoyed". However, the food was delivered cold and the quality of my food was described quite favorably as catastrophic. My 2 companions had something different and were reasonably happy with their food. At least the drink wasn't charged, which was a positive thing for me. However, I will not visit the restaurant again.

Today I was with my girlfriend at Layalina where hospitality is very important. The ambience is warm and invites you to relax. A place where you feel like you are staying with friends. The service is attentive and warm, you can literally feel the joy in offering guests an authentic experience. If you want to experience a cozy evening in Lebanese flair, you will definitely find what you are looking for here.

Great store. Service friendly. We accidentally ordered the wrong meal and the waitress gave us the right one on the house. Absolutely stable. The lamb was incredibly tender. In the end we got black tea for 8 people on the house. I can recommend it with heart. Lg

I discovered the shop through NeoTaste and had lunch there today with a colleague. The food was super tasty and the quality was very impressive. The waiter was really very nice to us and served us well (recommendations, a little extra for dessert, etc.). I can only recommend eating here.

I discovered this Lebanese restaurant by chance. The staff is very nice and the selection of food is large. I first had a Manakish cheese zaatar, which was extremely tasty. But since I had been out all day and was still hungry, I ordered some Sambusik meat. These dumplings were to die for, especially the dip that went with them.

Yesterday I was at the Layalina Restaurant in the old town of Hanover and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff friendly and attentive. I tried the mezze platter and was amazed by the variety and freshness of the individual components. The main dishes, such as the tender lamb and the spicy chicken, were also prepared to perfection and simply delicious. The desserts round off the experience perfectly - a must for anyone who likes oriental sweets! Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. I can only recommend the Layalina Restaurant to everyone!

My friends and me ate at this restaurant two days in a row. The food qualityz service and atmosphere were perfect. Kubbeh was very good, lamp chops were juicy and tasty. Halal meat 👍.

The restaurant is central and clean, the waiter is very nice and attentive! We went with a NeoTaste discount and the experience was good. By ordering Fischplatte and Fleischplatte we were able to try many things. I must say that it took a long time to serve us the food since we had to wait almost 1 hour for the food. Fischplatte: The squid and fried fish are very delicious, but both the salmon and the prawn have been overcooked and are a bit dry. Fleischplatte: The lamb skewer is well seasoned and well done. But the lamb chop is overcooked and dry. Kebab and chicken skewer is good. So you know what to ask for and what not to ask for ;) If it weren't for the wait time I would give it 4 stars

A place with great potential. Very good location, spacious dining area and tasteful basic furnishings. I would describe it more as a bistro than a restaurant. The artificial flowers and the lack of cleanliness in the toilets are a bit inappropriate. We were there on a Friday afternoon, the food was served quickly and tasted good. The meat is fresh and well prepared. The beautiful woman who served us wasn't rude, but she wasn't very nice either. Perhaps only Lebanese visitors are greeted and served with a friendly smile and a little word :)

Very unpleasant service. Lady with chimeras, uninterested in the customer. Casual service, poor English. The salad was tasteless - bad sauce and little cheese, basically just lettuce. When I asked if they had lactose-free milk for coffee, the waitress started laughing loudly.

I'm satisfied every time and write this entry while I'm waiting for my delivery - because I just know that it will be tip top again :) I regularly order food here once a month. I've never been to the restaurant, but I'll definitely do it again! When I order, I always order the same dishes because it is my absolute comfort food. Every time it is well packaged, tastes delicious and I am already looking forward to my next order. The food really tastes so damn good and the portions are really big. I always order vegetarian dishes. If I had one wish, it would be that when selecting “60. mezza 1 & 61. mezza 2” (at wolt) also has a completely vegetarian option. That would be awesome! Spaghetti ice cream is not spaghetti ice cream

Catastrophic. Although the service was very nice and attentive, it was more than bad across the board. We were asked about our order 4 (!) times. We (2 people) waited 40 minutes for our drinks. Tabbouleh starter came completely over-acided and without bread. The main course (Layalina plate for €31.90) was partly inedible: dry, hard and without the shrimp announced on the menu. A serving spoon was also missing. But after complaining, there was a lot of accommodation: we only paid half the price. Anyway!

This restaurant was not our destination. We decided to eat here at short notice. Since it was our first time here, we followed the waiter's recommendation and ordered Mezza 2 for 2 people. It was a delight of hot and cold dishes. The waitresses were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. If you don't mind a busy Kramerstrasse in Hanover's old town and enjoy watching people, you can sit here right in the middle of Hanover's life. If you like it quieter, you will find a quiet place in the restaurant. thank you for the service

Food was terrible. A small (for some dishes really small) piece of uncooked meat on top of a very dry rice. As decoration to make it fancy there was just a bunch of greens on top. The service was terrible, it took them almost one hour to prepare our food! They kept forgetting what we had ordered for multiple times, and once they brought us the wrong drink. They totally forgot about one of our dishes, and prepared it in 5 minutes while everyone was waiting to start; not surprised that the meat came out raw inside! Although the manager apologized us and was a nice man, but this place does not worth going at all. The prices are also high for such a poor service and food.

Normal espresso for €2.90, quite watery... even though it comes from a portafilter machine... I can't recommend the espresso

Avoid this place at all costs. The manager oversold us on the food, recommending dishes for 7 people and promising a discount that never materialized. As a result, half of the food went to waste, much of it arrived cold, and the meat was tough and difficult to chew. At checkout, the manager denied ever offering a discount. Not only are they dishonest, but they also resort to cheap tactics to overcharge customers. This behavior tarnishes the reputation of Arab establishments.

I ordered the food. For almost €8 you get a measly five sambusik with cheese pooped on two torn pieces of lettuce and a dry piece of cucumber. The fallafel roll came without sauce and both were cold when they arrived. Great😀

My husband and I made a table reservation online, when we arrived at the restaurant at 5pm today we were greeted by a rude Persian speaking woman who was the waitress/cashier. She claimed we didn't make a reservation and I showed her the confirmation email. Then she showed us a table where we could sit. My husband ordered Schweppes Ginger Ale to drink and I "Ayran" = yogurt drink. My husband's drink had no carbonation at all. My ayran tasted sour, probably old yogurt. In addition, she poured Ayran from a coke pet bottle. It was not clear from the menu that it is homemade Ayran. We ordered two meza, hommus and Kibbeh. The kibbeh tasted downright bad, it was a different spice that had been used that took over the whole taste. From the menu it appeared that Kibbeh is filled with minced meat, onions and walnuts. There were no walnuts in it, but instead pomegranate seeds. I then ordered chicken skewers with rice and my husband veal fillet with rice. My husband tasted his food but said he absolutely will not be able to eat. the meat was tasteless and like rubber, it couldn't be chewed. The rice was slightly different rice, yellow and contained something more than just rice, which was also not clear from the menu. My chicken, on the other hand, was edible, not really good, but it was still eatable. However, it was very little in quantity, a total of 8 small pieces of chicken divided on two small wooden skewers. Barely 100g. I tasted the rice but like my husband couldn't eat it and what was annoying was that it wasn't clear on the menu that it wasn't plain white rice. We paid €64 for everything. The only thing we ate was hommus and the small 8 pieces of chicken. The Persian waitress/cashier was on the phone throughout our visit, when we were about to leave she checked on our table and asked if everything was in order to which my husband said no. Pure disappointment. Most unfriendly condition we have ever seen. Plastic would have tasted better than this fillet, which cost about €23.00. Drinks were at room temperature and non-carbonated. Only hummus tasted good otherwise price-performance ratio 0.

We were at Layalina yesterday and had a very nice evening. We ordered Mezza I (vegetarian at our request) plus two other starters, including Lebanese pizza. Everything tasted delicious, although some dishes might be a bit too spicy for some palates. The service was super nice; The gentleman explained all the starters to us and also made recommendations. We felt well looked after and will definitely be back soon. If there is still room in our stomachs, we definitely want to try the Kenafe dessert. :-)

Mein Mann und ich haben im September geheiratet und hatten uns-da ich libanesischer Herkunft bin- dazu entschieden noch ein paar libanesische Gerichte zu unserem Buffet hinzuzufügen. Wir hätten mit Layalina keine bessere Wahl treffen können :) Es hat perfekt geschmeckt und war exakt so wie ich es seit Kindheit kenne. Auch von den Gästen kam nur positives Feedback! Danke für alles :) P.s; Sowohl meine Familie, als auch mein Mann und ich gehen immer wieder gerne dort essen. Wir wurden bisher nie enttäuscht, nette Menschen und sehr leckeres Essen.

Der beste Chickenburger, den ich je gegessen habe. Die selbstgemachten Brötchen sind sehr lecker und auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Vorallem der blonde. :)

Das Essen ist mega lecker!!! Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, die Karte rauf und runter zu probieren. Der Service war leider schlecht. Kann aber von der Person oder der Tagesform abhängig sein.

Absolut fantastische Erfahrung. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Mezze waren alle frisch und hausgemacht. Sehr authentisch und gut abgeschmeckt. Empfehlung!

Pizza, Vorspeise und Getränke waren nicht so besonders. Das Essen am Nachbartisch, sah aber lecker aus. Sauberkeit und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis könnte man auch noch verbessern. Wirklich übel war nur die Bardame, die die Gäste immer schön von oben herab behandelt hat. Habe ich selten erlebt, dass Gäste sogar ganz bewusst ignoriert werden. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus.

Sind auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt dort eingekehrt, weil wir Hunger hatten und uns kalt war. Die junge Dame an der Theke war unfreundlich und hat nicht einmal gelächelt. Meine Schwester wollte Pommes bestellen, ging nicht, weil Friteuse kaputt. Naja, das Essen und der Hummus waren sehr lecker aber was nützt einem das bei der schrecklichen Bedienung. Am Nebentisch haben die Leute lauwarmen Wein bekommen. Haben sich beschwert.Der Kühlschrank war wohl auch kaputt. Am Ende gab es keinen Cent Trinkgeld von uns. Werde da auch nicht nochmal hingehen.

Essen war geschmacklich lecker, aber es kamen nicht alle Gerichte an (zum zweiten mal). Als wir angerufen haben, wurde uns nicht geglaubt. Danach hat er behauptet, dass die Fahrer es geklaut haben. Ziemlich frech und kein guter Kundenservice.

Definitiv Klasse! Die Mezze-Platte war köstlich. Frisch, lecker, sehr geil gewürzt. Mein Fleisch war zart und richtig gut. Das Ambiente ist ok, klar geht mehr, aber der Service war absolut top. Wir waren überrascht und kommen wieder.

Habe heute hier Mittagsessen gehabt. Freundliche und Gastfreundlichen Personal. Die Portionen sind genau die perfekte Größe. Ich hatte Kafta bestellt. War perfekt gekocht und saftig. Die Ambiente war sauber und angenehm. Am Ende hatte ich sogar ein Schwarzen Tee umsonst bekommen. Würde wieder kommen wenn.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und saftig aber der Service war leider überhaupt nicht aufmerksam und ziemlich unfreundlich 🙃
