Great ambience, very tasty food and super friendly service. An and his team do their best. In the summer you can sit outside in the backyard and in the winter you can sit comfortably inside. When it comes to eating, there is something for everyone, from meat to fish to vegetarian dishes. The teas are particularly recommended!😍

It was another wonderful evening at La Vu. For us the best Asian cuisine in the area with very good value for money. Friendly and fast staff, as well as a pleasant and stylish ambience round off the whole thing nicely. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Particularly recommended are the curries and shrimp dishes, as well as baked ice cream and the homemade schnapps. But the rest is also unbeatable. 👌🏻 A must when you are in Zwickau. Even the new, comparable restaurants cannot keep up here. 100 points! See you next time :-)

We were put in a backyard with space heaters in October. Very bad ambience. We weren't happy with the food either.

Absolutely delicious food - we visited the restaurant here in the summer. What was really borderline was the completely overheated and stuffy guest room. Otherwise absolute recommendation.

It is very harmoniously furnished. Everything fits the Asian/Vietnamese style with a few influences from China. The selection of food and drinks is sufficient, there is something for every taste. However, you have to be careful with the food! If you want to eat something originally from Vietnam, I recommend the dishes from the "Chef's Recommendations" page. Here you will find original Vietnamese dishes without German influences. Chicken meat, for example, is not popular or often used in Vietnamese cuisine. Regarding the service: Everything went perfectly here. The drinks were taken first and were served within a few minutes. We were given a short break for a toast before we continued with the possible starters. Now we were given the choice: Either have the starter and main course together and serve them as a two-course menu, or have the starters served first and then, after this course was finished, the main courses. We decided on the menu. The time before the first course began was appropriate (around 10 minutes) before it was served. There was plenty of time to enjoy and chat, as it should be. When the first course was finished and all the empty plates, bowls, etc. were cleared away, the main courses arrived after about 10 or 15 minutes. These times are evidence of high quality standards and very good preparation of the kitchen. Almost all main courses were served almost at the same time. The service staff also asked about our well-being at appropriate intervals, provided new drinks or accepted special requests. If you wanted, you could also eat with chopsticks (unfortunately these were standard as in every Asian fast food joint, made of wood and too short to properly pick up the ingredients.) But I would consider this to be too high a demand on my part. All in all, we and I were satisfied with everything and will recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​a relaxed atmosphere but still a high quality restaurant. Here, too, I would like to once again say a big thank you to the hosts at Lavu, their service staff, the kitchen staff and all other employees, suppliers and organizers. As a former gastronomy colleague, host and highly demanding guest, I can only give the highest rating and look forward to visiting again.

Four of us ate at Lavu as a family. From the uncomplicated reservation to the reception to the table service, everything was friendly, not intrusive and very pleasant. Both the starters and the main courses met our taste without exception. The levels of spiciness are absolutely balanced. The only thing I would have liked was a little less sugar in the sauce. But that is also my personal feeling and it could be different tomorrow. I cannot and do not want to judge whether the food is authentic. In any case, it was exceptionally good and appropriate for the price.

This restaurant is by far one of the best I have ever visited. Everything was perfect in this restaurant: service, food, ambience (and hygiene). We ordered coconut curry soup with chicken and zucchini as a starter and absolutely loved it. Slightly spicy and very tasty. For the main course we ordered duck with rice and/or noodles. And here we were particularly impressed - the duck was super tender and without fat! Sauce and rice were also top notch. We look forward to our next visit!

If you want to feel welcome as soon as you enter the restaurant, if you want to enjoy excellent service and want top-class food, then stop by La Vu. A pleasure every time, and has been for many years. La Vu is definitely one of my recommendations in Zwickau.

I've only been there once so far but it's very nice. A friend and I had a table outside. Very nicely done with pond flowers and lanterns. I didn't even know what to order because there was so much choice. The food was super tasty and the drinks were great too. Would recommend it 100%

Food wasn't entirely authentic, but sufficient for our European spiciness. The seasoning when cooking was a bit lacking. Seasoning is possible. Service good to very good. Leave a slightly hectic impression. Tea is too European. Unfortunately. Ambience very playful. Whoever likes it. We will be back.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere. From the outside you wouldn't even think how big it is. Plenty of choice on the menu and very nice staff.

Unfortunately, I'm not particularly fond of menus with pages wrapped in cheap plastic wrap. After reading the introductory text, I quickly decided to follow the company's recommendation so that I could find out when I ordered that it would no longer be produced. The shrimp soup as an alternative starter was very good, but not so good that they accidentally (?) tried to bring it to us again instead of our main course, as unfortunately happened. We waited over an hour for the main course, which seemed so normal to the staff that it was in no way justified. Unfortunately, the food was at best okay, but in my opinion it was almost inedibly sweet. For dessert I decided on fruit and natural yoghurt, but at least they said the dish would take a little longer. Unfortunately, such a statement naturally raises expectations. Unfortunately, the associated “fruits of the season” were only limited to oranges and bananas. The atmosphere is really nice, unfortunately there weren't enough napkins available, but there was strange hair on the cutlery tray. It was a bit cool in the restaurant all evening. The hand disinfectant in the toilet was in a desolate sprayer that apparently once contained (window) cleaner. All in all, a rather sobering visit that I don't necessarily have to repeat any time soon.

First of all we have to say. This restaurant is our absolute favorite restaurant in Zwickau. If we have the opportunity and our children are with their grandparents, we pay a visit to this paradise. Last Thursday I reserved a table for 7 p.m. We were very happy and dressed up. When we first stepped into the house, we noticed how crowded it was. We reported to the bar and said our names. Afterwards we walked to the end of the restaurant and there was still no table in sight. We looked a little surprised when we went outside into the garden. The middle area was separated by net walls. There were patio heaters in the middle and an air conditioner showed 30 degrees. We were seated at a table right by the net wall. We checked the wall briefly and it was actually a net that also let the wind through. There was no heater in our immediate vicinity. That's why my wife left the jacket on straight away. In the evening the outside temperature was 5 degrees. It was certainly warm in some places, but the ground and the light wind were simply unpleasant. We ordered tea straight away and asked for a table inside. After an initial communication problem, we got a table in the restaurant. So first of all, big praise for the quick solution. We would have liked to have been told in advance on the phone that it was also possible to be placed in the garden. Then you could prepare for it with appropriate clothing. Now to the food, as always it was simply top class. Be it a starter, main course or dessert. It's always hot and fresh. The taste is simply great. The service is great and you never have to wait long. Maybe just say openly and honestly beforehand that there are places outside that are heated with the help of radiant heaters. Then the little problem wouldn't have arisen. We still enjoy coming back again and again.

Dedicated service, very tasty food and a pleasant ambience leave a lasting impression. The food is very attractively prepared. The portions are not too big and not too small. The toilets are clean. Before visiting with several people, it is advisable to make a reservation by telephone.

We went to a variety of Asian restaurants, and no other restaurant was as tasty. 03/18/24 I change my assessment. It is more than outrageous to increase prices by more than 25% within 2 years. Good taste, ambience and service are no justification for this, the increase in VAT, inflation (which no longer really exists) are not the only causes, it is more the profit-seeking of most restaurateurs. For me, the end of playing along has been reached. Thanks to the restaurateurs and politicians.

Despite a table reservation, the restaurant room was already overcrowded, which is probably why a heater was placed in the outdoor area, far too cold in February, there was no comfort, just cold hands and legs..., it's a shame, so I ordered, ate and paid at a gallop and went home to the restaurant Warm...., this was my little birthday party...!!!Food was good, staff tried hard and friendly. Now choose other restaurants because it was actually an imposition and I hope I don't get a cold... !!! A beer garden is a beer garden, despite fabric tarpaulins and radiant heaters, the disappointment is still deep even 2 days later... I had heard nothing but positive things so far and have now quite regretted my decision for me and my family...!!!!!!!!!

The food at Lavu was good. One point is deducted for the speed of delivery of drinks. Getting something after eating was quite difficult. Sometimes you had to wait around 30 minutes. They could have earned more and made us happier. We were there during the week.

Sehr, sehr lecker. Und das auch noch so lange nach der Eröffnung. Im Normalfall werden in den ersten 3–6 Monaten gute Gerichte angeboten, um einen Kundenstamm an sich zu binden und dann kommt die Sparkeule. Hier dagegen schmeckt es noch wie am ersten Tag.

Das Essen hier war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Vorspeise wurde zeitnah serviert. Das Hauptgericht fiel reichlich aus. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier essen gehen.
