Lava Döner-Iskender in Kehl

Warm welcome! Fast service! Excellent Yufka! I recommend it.

The food itself tastes quite good, however the waiting times are far too long; I sometimes had to wait over 45 minutes for my food.

Lava Döner is absolutely fantastic! The meat is grilled over charcoal, giving it a particularly aromatic and juicy flavor. The fresh vegetables perfectly complement the dish, and you can immediately tell that quality is a priority. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I was served meat from the day before, out of a pot! It was old meat! Not fresh!! The kebab could have been bigger for €8. The sauces are very runny, like water. Unfortunately, they skimp on the salad. The bread is hard and stale from the day before. Things used to be better! What a shame.

The sauces and the hand-rolled flatbread were excellent, but the meat doner wasn't very tasty for my taste. It was nice to see it cooked over a wood fire, the staff was polite, and the place was clean.

I ordered one doner kebab and one yufka, but unfortunately, both were so full of fat that they were barely edible... Too little salad, too little sauce, and the meat barely tasted of anything... The doner bread and yufka bread were also different than before... a real shame. I think it even has a new owner, which is a shame. It used to be really good, but now it's a disaster...

I liked the doner, they have meat doner.

We waited 40 minutes for our order. We could have said something like that beforehand, but then we might have ordered somewhere else. Prices are a bit higher, and the yufka portions are a bit smaller compared to other places. The taste is a bit dry.

The yufka is handmade, the sauces are homemade, it is very delicious and clean, with a smile, I recommend it, we are there every week 😊

Their iskender (kebab plate with tomato sauce and butter) and their yufka are very very tasty. Their yufka is homemade, the rest I don't know.

Current as of 04/12/25: I was there again about 2 months later, it seemed to me as if the owner and the employees had changed there. The meat was fresh, but the meat wasn't fried properly, and was even partially raw and still cold. The bread was no longer home-made, the contents of kebab inside were very little and I honestly couldn't get enough with one kebab. Salad was also fresh and so was the sauce, just not seasoned enough and as I said, the content was simply less than the first time. The first time we got drinks we got them with glasses and this time that wasn't the case, which is also a complaint. Card payment didn't work this time either, but that's not as bad. As you may have already read, I was really disappointed this time and, as sorry as I am, I will no longer recommend the store or go there again myself. Guys, this has to improve, otherwise there is a risk that you will gradually lose more and more customers. If you need more money, then raise the prices a little, but not too much, but please don't criticize the quality you had back then and please don't make the portions smaller. Otherwise the employees were actually very friendly. (When I went there for the first time The first time: (I was there with my parents earlier and it really tasted great. But it was very cold in there, it would be really good if the heating was turned up a little more because we were cold there all the time.))

I was there today with my family and I have to say that the Yufka Lava was amazing. The grilled vegetables, the size and the quantity, everything was right! The kebab was also good and the bread was crispy. The meat is cooked with coal or charcoal and it had no pieces of fat. Definitely worth a visit!

Felt the best yufka kebab in the last 5 years. The sauce is absolutely delicious. The yufka dough is fresh and not dry and hard. The meat is sensational. There was little hot sauce but it was enough to spice things up. Best yufka in the region by far

The best kebab in the area! Above all, no minced meat on the skewer. The taste is very good, the price/performance ratio is very good. What I also really like is that the packaging is without aluminum foil and plastic bags. Yes, it can take a little longer if the store is full again. But I'm happy to accept that.

My kebab had real fries in it and cheese and my colleagues completely messed up our order and we threw our kebab away. Very disappointing

Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, ich war einmal richtiger Fan von diesem Döner aber mittlerweile bin ich einfach nur enttäuscht. Dieser Döner kostet richtig viel Geld wenn wir mal ehrlich sind und dann mit einen Witz von Fleisch abgefertigt zu werden ist schwach. Wenn es dann noch nicht mal richtig warm ist, ist es noch umso ärgerlicher! Für 8,50 € sollte man schon satt werden

Bester Döner in Kehl. Richtige Fleischstücke Sauce und Fladenbrot selbstgemacht. Kostet dafür auch etwas mehr.

Der beste Döner den ich in Deutschland gegessen habe. Personal könnte professioneller arbeiten, Zwar ist die Portion bisschen wenig, aber dafür passt der Preis.

Sehr guter Döner, Hammer Fleisch. Innen riecht es sehr stark und die Lüftung. wird kaum benutzt. Die Bedienung war überfordert und hat u.a die Getränke vergessen.

En tant que Parisiens en week end a starsbourg... j'aimerais plus de kebab de ce style à paris c'etait très bon. J'ai pris le kebab classic avec fromage et ma copine le végétarien. Elle a adoré et moi aussi logique avec Wraps maison, viande cuite au charbon et du chou et fromage frai. Je conseille à toute personne venant de starsbourg ou d'ailleurs.
