Fabulous!! The best Salmone di Grilla I've ever eaten. Very good price/performance ratio and super friendly staff. Top 🔝

We stopped there spontaneously because it was conveniently located near the town hall. Now we were more than surprised, such well-made, huge pizza with plenty of toppings. Tip from the good waitress(!) Leonie: everyone only takes half... and it was so big that we could barely manage it. Thank you for the successful service, and to your good service worker Leonie.

Great place. If the lunch pizza is so big, how is the pizza in the evening? Huge, according to Sohnemann. The pizza tasted delicious. The surface could have been more. The edge was already pretty dry. We ordered a salad. Either we were given a side salad. But a few lettuce leaves for 7.50 euros - already overpriced. Next time it'll just be pizza. But the restaurant, especially in summer, is simply great!

The environment is very nice, the staff is very kind, they found us a table even though the place was full and we didn't have a reservation. Excellent beer and also good pizza which by the way is gigantic. Highly recommended

We happened to be at Laurin and nothing better could have happened to us that evening. The food came quickly and was great 😋 excellent freshly made pasta and pizzas. The staff are polite, attentive but not intrusive. That wasn't our last visit to Laurin. Hopefully the first extremely positive impression can be confirmed.

I can only agree with the many positive reviews here. The pizzas are so delicious and the service is beyond impeccable. For me the visit was a definite wow experience. I felt very welcome here and they were genuinely happy about my visit and tried very hard to satisfy me and my palate, which is unfortunately something you rarely experience these days. I would love to come back here.

Food is not good enough. Aglio e olio didn’t have any garlic in it. Pizzas are really large and pasta portions are generous, but wouldn’t recommend. On the plus side, staff are really friendly and very eager to help!

Pizza was very tasty, unfortunately it was cold. After the stated waiting time of 15 minutes, we had to ask for our food after 30 minutes

A well-attended restaurant in a perfect location with super friendly service. The pizza was extremely large, but the taste was average! The Italian ham seemed like regular cooked ham to me, and the *tomato sauce* lacked the typical pizza flavor. The dough was extremely thin, at least in the middle it was almost transparent.

I can only recommend a really top Italian restaurant. Parking situation is a bit tense, it's best when you come onto the site sharply to the right, there is a small parking lot.

A highly frequented place because it is rightly the most popular Italian restaurant in Deggendorf, where you can watch the pizza bakers at work... Highly recommended is the "Tagliatelle Scampi, with cream sauce and extra garlic", which is prepared in a filling portion with very fresh herbs and is best topped with a generous amount of Parmesan... In my opinion, there are almost too many people, which is why it's better to come by after or before rush hour. It's better to eat in the restaurant, the ToGo is prepared too hastily...

Positives: it's in a great location, nicely designed, good selection, fast service, nice staff. Negative: overcrowded terrace, (with the body odor of neighboring tables in the summer heat) pizza looks good but absolutely average, or rather worse than average. After a couple of years, we gave the place another chance, but unfortunately the food was disappointing again. The pizza was weak and the dough was definitely not tasty.

Food great, price performance top. Extremely friendly staff. Have been here again and again for years. Only 2 comments: unfortunately there was repeatedly no soap in the toilet and the terrace is sometimes so full that the waitress is forced to bump into guests in order to serve the front row. Not a good feeling as a guest. If necessary, a table could be removed here. It's certainly very positive for the guest's experience.

The food and the restaurant are very good. The staff are friendly. You can pay by card. However, I only give 4 stars because there is almost never soap in the toilet, there are no towels to dry your hands and only 4 thin streams of cold water come out of the tap. That's not possible in a restaurant where hundreds of guests come every day. December 20, 2021 Addendum: The washing facilities have now been renovated. It's all ok. 👍 Update October 3rd, 2024 Unfortunately the toilet situation has not improved. It is unclean, there is no soap or paper.

Spontaneously there with friends yesterday (we got four seats reserved straight away). Food excellent, fast, fresh. Particularly noteworthy: very good service, friendly, courteous and competent. Pay particular attention to these people who do a good job - we felt very comfortable.

We have now been here for the 5th time and we are always completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the pizzas are very, very large and for a price that is absolutely fair, it is always busy, which is a clear sign of the quality of the business, always happy. Absolutely recommended. No matter whether pizza or pasta I have never been disappointed.

The biggest pizza of my life and also very tasty and inexpensive! The only downside: The restaurant, which is built high up on the Danube, is disastrously difficult to reach for wheelchair users, even if you are pushed. Please make improvements here.

The service was great even without a reservation. We got a table quickly, were served quickly and the food was also delicious. The restaurant is very well organized, the team is great and the food is great (the pizza is similar in size to wagon wheels). Unfortunately the weather was terrible, otherwise you would have had a nice view of the Danube on the terrace. Recommended!!!

The Laurin in Deggendorf gave incorrect information on the phone about the vegan selection of dishes. I was told on site that only the salad was vegan. Proteins will still contain carbohydrates. So it saturates zero. Pasta and pizza dough are not vegan. Absolutely not recommended.

Food very good. Delicious salami pizza and Napoli pasta for children too. However, we were with two children and we wanted a small portion of pasta napoli for ourselves to try, but the waitress refused, saying that there were two children with us and offering pasta from the regular menu in a smaller portion. Except that we wanted to eat Napoli, which wasn't there. As a result, we didn't order any for ourselves.

A very nice Italian restaurant in a great location with a view of the Danube. Unfortunately we sat in “2. Row” to the river because we didn’t have a reservation on Saturday evening (there were two of us). The service was friendly and the food came very quickly, despite there being a lot of guests. We both had pasta dishes, very tasty - a bit too much. For me, smaller portions and something cheaper would be better - next time we'll share and then have another starter 😊

Pizza and pasta, Laurin, located in the rowing house on the Danube, is known for good Italian cuisine. The pizzas are not only huge but also delicious, if you come with several people you should make a reservation. And you can have a wonderful time there.

I'm super positively surprised. After shortly after Corona, in my opinion, the quality left something to be desired, Laurin is now really stepping on the gas again. Very friendly service staff. Diverse selection. Fair prices. Pizzas are huge and taste great! The salads and pasta are also more than positive. Drinks and food served without long waiting times. Of course, the ambience, especially on the terrace with a view over the Danube, is almost unbeatable. An absolute recommendation if you want to have a very good Italian meal in Deggendorf.

It is in a very cozy place (on the banks of the Danube) and the service is very kind. We couldn't sit on the terrace anymore (it's worth booking in advance), but maybe we were better off, because the heat inside was more tolerable. The food was brought out very quickly, the pizzas are huge and delicious, I think it's more than enough for 2 people. However, the noodles were not very tasty and there was hardly any topping on them.

Very busy restaurant, with a bit of luck you can get a table on the terrace with a view of the Danube. A reservation is definitely a good move but not a guarantee. The rowing club has its pier directly under the terrace. If you enjoy watching others do the sport :) you can be happy. The starters of sheep's cheese and the tomato salad with onions were gross. The waitresses were quick. The food or starter came about 20 minutes after ordering. Later. The pizzas took another 10 minutes extra. The pizza was a poem and gigantic in size and the ingredients were FRESH and generously distributed. My artichoke hearts almost filled me up on their own. Payment was CASH at the table

We enjoy being there and my child always wants to go to the butter pasta factory when he sees the Laurin. The dishes are delicious and the price is also affordable. We definitely recommend it. Sit nicely on the Danube and enjoy the view.
