It also has a lot of vegetarian options to offer, but not vegan. Otherwise the food is very tasty. Pizza Italia is my favorite

Super huge pizzas and damn tasty

Positives: it's in a great location, nicely designed, good selection, fast service, nice staff. Negative: overcrowded terrace, (with the body odor of neighboring tables in the summer heat) pizza looks good but absolutely average, or rather worse than average. After a couple of years, we gave the place another chance, but unfortunately the food was disappointing again. The pizza was weak and the dough was definitely not tasty.

Solid restaurant, great for a lunch break. Certainly even better in summer due to the location

Food great, price performance top. Extremely friendly staff. Have been here again and again for years. Only 2 comments: unfortunately there was repeatedly no soap in the toilet and the terrace is sometimes so full that the waitress is forced to bump into guests in order to serve the front row. Not a good feeling as a guest. If necessary, a table could be removed here. It's certainly very positive for the guest's experience.

The food and the restaurant are very good. The staff are friendly. You can pay by card. However, I only give 4 stars because there is almost never soap in the toilet, there are no towels to dry your hands and only 4 thin streams of cold water come out of the tap. That's not possible in a restaurant where hundreds of guests come every day. December 20, 2021 Addendum: The washing facilities have now been renovated. It's all ok. 👍 Update October 3rd, 2024 Unfortunately the toilet situation has not improved. It is unclean, there is no soap or paper.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the river. Huge portions, pizza bigger than plates. Food very tasty. The appetizer of baked mussels was amazing.

Spontaneously there with friends yesterday (we got four seats reserved straight away). Food excellent, fast, fresh. Particularly noteworthy: very good service, friendly, courteous and competent. Pay particular attention to these people who do a good job - we felt very comfortable.

The biggest pizza of my life and also very tasty and inexpensive! The only downside: The restaurant, which is built high up on the Danube, is disastrously difficult to reach for wheelchair users, even if you are pushed. Please make improvements here.

Delicious, large portions, special requests are no problem, inexpensive

We have now been here for the 5th time and we are always completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the pizzas are very, very large and for a price that is absolutely fair, it is always busy, which is a clear sign of the quality of the business, always happy. Absolutely recommended. No matter whether pizza or pasta I have never been disappointed.

The service was great even without a reservation. We got a table quickly, were served quickly and the food was also delicious. The restaurant is very well organized, the team is great and the food is great (the pizza is similar in size to wagon wheels). Unfortunately the weather was terrible, otherwise you would have had a nice view of the Danube on the terrace. Recommended!!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, you feel very welcome here. The food tastes very good, had a pizza that was extremely large, super thin base, tasted perfect - ingredients all fresh. Gladly again 😊 😊 highly recommended if you are in Deggendorf and want to eat good Italian food 👍👍

I would've given a five star, because the staffs were very friendly, the restaurant was alo clean, but the most important thing was the food and that in itself was salty. The pizza wasn't good...

The Laurin in Deggendorf gave incorrect information on the phone about the vegan selection of dishes. I was told on site that only the salad was vegan. Proteins will still contain carbohydrates. So it saturates zero. Pasta and pizza dough are not vegan. Absolutely not recommended.

Food very good. Delicious salami pizza and Napoli pasta for children too. However, we were with two children and we wanted a small portion of pasta napoli for ourselves to try, but the waitress refused, saying that there were two children with us and offering pasta from the regular menu in a smaller portion. Except that we wanted to eat Napoli, which wasn't there. As a result, we didn't order any for ourselves.

A very nice Italian restaurant in a great location with a view of the Danube. Unfortunately we sat in “2. Row” to the river because we didn’t have a reservation on Saturday evening (there were two of us). The service was friendly and the food came very quickly, despite there being a lot of guests. We both had pasta dishes, very tasty - a bit too much. For me, smaller portions and something cheaper would be better - next time we'll share and then have another starter 😊

Pizza and pasta, Laurin, located in the rowing house on the Danube, is known for good Italian cuisine. The pizzas are not only huge but also delicious, if you come with several people you should make a reservation. And you can have a wonderful time there.

Always very crowded - but otherwise absolutely great!

I'm super positively surprised. After shortly after Corona, in my opinion, the quality left something to be desired, Laurin is now really stepping on the gas again. Very friendly service staff. Diverse selection. Fair prices. Pizzas are huge and taste great! The salads and pasta are also more than positive. Drinks and food served without long waiting times. Of course, the ambience, especially on the terrace with a view over the Danube, is almost unbeatable. An absolute recommendation if you want to have a very good Italian meal in Deggendorf.

Its incredible pastas and pizzas and on one side of the Danube, you can buy your pizza to take away and wherever you like in the park you can sit and enjoy your pizza

Ordered a pasta and two pizza's. All of them tasted good and the pizza's are huge (you won't need an appetizer).

It is in a very cozy place (on the banks of the Danube) and the service is very kind. We couldn't sit on the terrace anymore (it's worth booking in advance), but maybe we were better off, because the heat inside was more tolerable. The food was brought out very quickly, the pizzas are huge and delicious, I think it's more than enough for 2 people. However, the noodles were not very tasty and there was hardly any topping on them.

Very busy restaurant, with a bit of luck you can get a table on the terrace with a view of the Danube. A reservation is definitely a good move but not a guarantee. The rowing club has its pier directly under the terrace. If you enjoy watching others do the sport :) you can be happy. The starters of sheep's cheese and the tomato salad with onions were gross. The waitresses were quick. The food or starter came about 20 minutes after ordering. Later. The pizzas took another 10 minutes extra. The pizza was a poem and gigantic in size and the ingredients were FRESH and generously distributed. My artichoke hearts almost filled me up on their own. Payment was CASH at the table

We enjoy being there and my child always wants to go to the butter pasta factory when he sees the Laurin. The dishes are delicious and the price is also affordable. We definitely recommend it. Sit nicely on the Danube and enjoy the view.

Dear Laurin team, I would like to complain about my last visit to your restaurant on Tuesday, June 27th (8:20-9:20 p.m.). The waiter was rude to me and my friend and took a very long time to take our order. When he asked us if we wanted something to drink and we said we just wanted to eat, he only came to us after calling three times. He took the order from far away behind the metal grills outside without coming to our table. The same went for the menus, he called me and told me to get the menu. All the tables next to us on the terrace were occupied and he served them directly, except for our table. I ordered a four cheese pizza with extra basil and my friend ordered a margarita. The pizza was served without basil and the waiter claimed that it had the right toppings. He spoke to us in a way as if we didn't understand German and was extremely unfriendly and rude. At the end, when we wanted to pay by card, he pointed into the restaurant and said that we should pay inside, even though the card payment machine was brought to all the other tables. This is not the first time something like this has happened at Laurin and I am very disappointed that you obviously don't know how to choose your waiters. I hope you take this matter seriously and take appropriate measures to avoid such incidents in the future. Customer service and courtesy should be top priorities for a restaurant of your quality. Restaurant with a very nice outdoor terrace, delicious food and excellent pizzas and nice staff. There is also a small beach bar with a separate snack stand with delicious drinks, coffee and ice cream.

The pizzas were oversized. It tasted great, but due to its size it was totally soggy in the middle when I tried four different ones. Any time.

For a change, we ended our daughter's birthday here instead of at a fast food restaurant. A blessing :) Our modest group consisted of 2 adults and 4 kids. Very important: be sure to reserve! On some days (especially in summer) it's like Stachus. It wasn't our first visit, but this time the service staff was a bit unrelaxed and slow. The restaurant was well attended, but not packed. Maybe just an outlier. The ambience directly on the Danube and the adjacent park is simply fantastic. Things get even better outside in summer. However, it is also much fuller. The pizzas have always been excellent. We've never been able to eat the giant pieces either. Have it packed up and have breakfast the next day, world class! :) Clear recommendation!

It would be interesting to find out whether the LAURIN is open at all due to the current flood situation - according to the DZ from June 4th, 2024, dike beam closures were built at the level of the wheelhouse.

Lick fat. I, a male, had a salad to take away today. 😆 I have to say that I was not only surprised by the portion but also by the taste and the absolute perfection of the presentation. Hats off and respect. PS: I had the salad with chicken

A really nice place, everything fits...

Used to be my favorite pizzeria in Deggendorf. The pizzas are good and the tiramisu is very tasty! They usually have a normal price-performance ratio. My favorite: Pizza Deggendorf with some balsamic cream and a little parmesan on top. I still think it's a shame that the size of the lunch pizza isn't available at times other than Mon-Fri lunch. The big Margeritha is not worth almost 12 euros...

I ordered tagliatelle con salmone which was very good and was perfectly aldente, the ham pizza tasted very good and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the service was courteous and extremely friendly, the atmosphere outside is really relaxed and you can enjoy the view of the Danube.
