Nine of us arrived spontaneously and were seated inside with a view of the Danube. The food was quick and delicious.

We were at Laurin today. The food was great and the price/performance ratio for two people was also reasonable. Furthermore, the atmosphere on the Danube is very nice on a warm summer evening. I can only recommend this pizzeria. We'll definitely be back.

After FC Bayern Munich's successful Bundesliga chess competition, we went to Laurin to enjoy the success. Friendly and quick service, huge portions and everyone enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the dishes we ate there were average. Both the gnocchi and the Rigatoni were not seasoned at all. They were flat and bland and I certainly wouldn't order these dishes again. But the pizza itself... classic, although we've eaten better ones. It tasted better when heated in the oven. Overall, I recommend the place for a drink as we were disappointed with the food. Very nice service, orders arrived quickly.

Good food in Germany is a rare commodity, good Italian food in Germany is very rare. This restaurant is definitely the best Italian meal we had on our trip to Germany, the food was great! The service is pleasant and efficient, a bit in the restaurant from the pizza oven - come with a t-shirt, highly recommended.

The appetizer and drinks came very quickly. Unfortunately the main course wasn't served promptly, which was a shame. ☹️ The pizza and the pasta tasted ok but not anymore.

A different choice from the typical Italian restaurant. Laurin doesn't hide behind the evocative name or the place with the checkered tablecloths, he doesn't deceive you. But what you find are good (and plentiful) dishes which in terms of accuracy are superior to the average of the Italian restaurants I have tried in the area. Quick and courteous service. Nice environment, wonderful view from the terrace, but quite crowded.

Nice restaurant on the Danube. Sunny terrace with a view of the river. The staff is friendly and attentive. The pizzas are huge, but unfortunately they didn't suit our taste. The edge wasn't crispy, the topping was oily and had a strange aftertaste. Maybe we just got a Monday pizza.

The food is delicious and the restaurant is open all day, which is a huge plus. The parking lot by the park could use some improvement, but I don't know if it belongs to the restaurant. The prices have gotten too high these days, so I don't eat here often anymore, which is a shame.

They have really nice pizzas, it's worth driving a further distance just to eat there. Great as a takeaway but eating there is a bit annoying as the pizzas are much bigger than the plate, which makes it a bit tiring.

Nice restaurant on the Danube with large windows and a corresponding view. Food was very good and the service was very nice. Dogs are allowed and EC cards are accepted. A large terrace invites you to linger in the summer. The pizzas are huge, which is more like a portion for two people.

A small piece of cheesekake that we ordered without a scoop of ice cream and cream was charged as a dessert for EUR 9.40 ❓ (not homemade according to the waitress!!) After a vigorous complaint on our part, the price was reduced to EUR 5.00.....‼️ What does that tell us ❓ Recommendation: The toilets, regardless of whether they are women's or men's, should be checked several times and regularly every day... there are no words for a description...‼️

Leider sehr traurig bei so einem gutgehenden Restaurant mit wirklich sehr gutem Essen, solche Toiletten anzubieten. Das stört mich und auch andere schon sehr lange. Unsaubere und "in die Jahre gekommene: Toiletten! Und das schon lange. Obwohl super Umsatz...sehr schade!

The best pizza in Deggendorf and the surrounding area!!

A really nice Italian restaurant. The ambience is warm and beautiful. Since we were there in winter, we unfortunately couldn't eat on the beautiful terrace, but it was lit up for Christmas. The view of the Danube through the windows was still really nice. The staff was very friendly and the food came quite quickly. The pizza was really big and very tasty. If we come in that direction again, we would be happy to come by again.

I was there for dinner with my family today, it was a really nice evening with delicious food and the staff was very accommodating and super friendly. We would be happy to come back.

We stopped there spontaneously because it was conveniently located near the town hall. Now we were more than surprised, such well-made, huge pizza with plenty of toppings. Great place. If the lunch pizza is so big, how is the pizza in the evening? Huge, according to Sohnemann. The pizza tasted delicious. The surface could have been more. The edge was already pretty dry. We ordered a salad. Either we were given a side salad. But a few lettuce leaves for 7.50 euros - already overpriced. Next time it'll just be pizza. But the restaurant, especially in summer, is simply great!

The environment is very nice, the staff is very kind, they found us a table even though the place was full and we didn't have a reservation. Excellent beer and also good pizza which by the way is gigantic. Highly recommended

We happened to be at Laurin and nothing better could have happened to us that evening. The food came quickly and was great 😋 excellent freshly made pasta and pizzas. The staff are polite, attentive but not intrusive. That wasn't our last visit to Laurin. Hopefully the first extremely positive impression can be confirmed.

I can only agree with the many positive reviews here. The pizzas are so delicious and the service is beyond impeccable. For me the visit was a definite wow experience. I felt very welcome here and they were genuinely happy about my visit and tried very hard to satisfy me and my palate, which is unfortunately something you rarely experience these days. I would love to come back here.

Food is not good enough. Aglio e olio didn’t have any garlic in it. Pizzas are really large and pasta portions are generous, but wouldn’t recommend. On the plus side, staff are really friendly and very eager to help!

A well-attended restaurant in a perfect location with super friendly service. The pizza was extremely large, but the taste was average! The Italian ham seemed like regular cooked ham to me, and the *tomato sauce* lacked the typical pizza flavor. The dough was extremely thin, at least in the middle it was almost transparent.

A highly frequented place because it is rightly the most popular Italian restaurant in Deggendorf, where you can watch the pizza bakers at work... Highly recommended is the "Tagliatelle Scampi, with cream sauce and extra garlic", which is prepared in a filling portion with very fresh herbs and is best topped with a generous amount of Parmesan... In my opinion, there are almost too many people, which is why it's better to come by after or before rush hour. It's better to eat in the restaurant, the ToGo is prepared too hastily...

Positives: it's in a great location, nicely designed, good selection, fast service, nice staff. Negative: overcrowded terrace, (with the body odor of neighboring tables in the summer heat) pizza looks good but absolutely average, or rather worse than average. After a couple of years, we gave the place another chance, but unfortunately the food was disappointing again. The pizza was weak and the dough was definitely not tasty.

Food great, price performance top. Extremely friendly staff. Have been here again and again for years. Only 2 comments: unfortunately there was repeatedly no soap in the toilet and the terrace is sometimes so full that the waitress is forced to bump into guests in order to serve the front row. Not a good feeling as a guest. If necessary, a table could be removed here. It's certainly very positive for the guest's experience.

The food and the restaurant are very good. The staff are friendly. You can pay by card. However, I only give 4 stars because there is almost never soap in the toilet, there are no towels to dry your hands and only 4 thin streams of cold water come out of the tap. That's not possible in a restaurant where hundreds of guests come every day. December 20, 2021 Addendum: The washing facilities have now been renovated. It's all ok. 👍 Update October 3rd, 2024 Unfortunately the toilet situation has not improved. It is unclean, there is no soap or paper.

Spontaneously there with friends yesterday (we got four seats reserved straight away). Food excellent, fast, fresh. Particularly noteworthy: very good service, friendly, courteous and competent. Pay particular attention to these people who do a good job - we felt very comfortable.

We have now been here for the 5th time and we are always completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the pizzas are very, very large and for a price that is absolutely fair, it is always busy, which is a clear sign of the quality of the business, always happy. The service was great even without a reservation. We got a table quickly, were served quickly and the food was also delicious. The restaurant is very well organized, the team is great and the food is great (the pizza is similar in size to wagon wheels). The Laurin in Deggendorf gave incorrect information on the phone about the vegan selection of dishes. I was told on site that only the salad was vegan. Proteins will still contain carbohydrates. So it saturates zero. Pasta and pizza dough are not vegan. Absolutely not recommended.

Food very good. Delicious salami pizza and Napoli pasta for children too. However, we were with two children and we wanted a small portion of pasta napoli for ourselves to try, but the waitress refused, saying that there were two children with us and offering pasta from the regular menu in a smaller portion. Except that we wanted to eat Napoli, which wasn't there. As a result, we didn't order any for ourselves.
