We spent a wonderful evening here about 3 weeks ago with delicious tapas and wine. The ambience invites you to linger, you almost feel like you are in your own living room 🥰🥰 The conditions were extremely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Price/performance also ok. The only thing that was missing for me was that if I offer fish tappas then you should also have fish and not just mussels, squid etc. Because not everyone likes something like that 😉

The ambience impresses with the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff and the delicious food in combination with the great wine 🍷 round off the evening. A really big recommendation 😊😋👍

Very nice... Finally a piece of living room for on the go. Wine and snack offers are well coordinated. Nice service with a lot of expertise in wine and food. But the best Are the prices You'll be happy to leave the kitchen cold at home :-) So. . Keep it up

Disaster!!!! There was absolutely no relationship between price and performance. A shriveled Currywust for €6.20 that really wasn't a hit... mini-small portions for far too much money. The service was very unfriendly, things were thrown on the table and cleared away without a word. We had to wait 30 minutes for the bill after being asked three times. After that we went to the front hoping that someone would cash in on us. Once and never again. Really not recommended... what a shame.

The food was very, very tasty and the price was totally reasonable. There is also plenty of choice for vegetarians. The decor is super nice and cozy. The service makes an effort, but very slowly, we had to ask twice when ordering, the orders were incorrect or incomplete, we also had to ask twice for the bill, drinks sometimes only arrived after 35 minutes (coke, etc., nothing would have to be trained) In general, the waiting times were far too long. Nevertheless, we would like to come back for the good food. It would be nice if there were more staff so that we could show more gifts to the customers.

The Lanternchen is one of our absolute favorite places in Siegen. A super cozy shop with a great atmosphere. The service is always warm and you can feel the attention to detail in the dishes. Requests are responded to with the greatest effort - in my case vegetarian alternatives. The restaurant is not designed for “eat something quick and leave”, but rather for a cozy evening with delicious food and a good bottle of wine. We look forward to your next visit!

It was great that you can reserve online. Ordering food via cell phone is also great. The homemade bread was delicious and the frittata was great too. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant and, even though we were the only guests, the service was a bit uncoordinated and slow. The olives were moldy, we got new ones straight away, but no real apology or compensation. The prawns were “just” small crabs and the lentil salad had hardly any taste, which was a shame considering it cost over €80 for two people and we didn’t really get full. But the furnishings looked very nice and were nicely done. Definitely has potential and can still be optimized.

We were very happy about the short-term and quick online reservation confirmation because we spontaneously decided to visit Laternchens Weinliebe. A friendly welcome and the free choice between three tables gave hope for a lovely evening. When I asked, they couldn't give me a printed menu; it was only possible to order via QR code. Unfortunately, I like to allow myself the “luxury” of going out without my cell phone. I would like to point out at this point that numerous studies have shown the negative effects of cell phones in social gatherings at the table! So I had to use my companion's cell phone. The drinks and food were delivered quickly after the first online order. My partner liked the tapas mediocre, I found them tasty. Due to small portion sizes, we ordered 2x tapas and 1x bread again ONLINE. These other tapas were no longer brought, only the bread. After a while our plates were cleared away instead; At that point we didn't want to eat anything anymore anyway. At some point the time between waiting, possibly asking and wanting more food is over. So we requested the invoice, which interestingly is only possible “offline”. Of course the tapas that were not delivered were also in the system and we had to pay for them. Our friendly notice immediately before the payment process that we didn't get two tapas was noticed and the cashier obviously didn't care at all, as there was no reaction to this. We didn't have to pay them, nor would we have done so. How orders can get “lost” with such a system is still a mystery to me to this day. It's a shame because when I go out to eat I don't want to have to be annoyed. Conclusion: Delicious food, but you shouldn't be too hungry. If you are sensitive to cold, wear warm clothing!

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Unexpectedly good tapas and good wine selection. Gambas al ajillo as I wish. A lot of effort in a small space. Thanks for the experience.

Sehr nettes kleines Lokal mit einer sehr quirligen jungen Wirtin mit einem kleinen Team rockt die spanischen Tapas und den Rotwein. Manchmal überkommt sie auch bei live Musik mit zu singen. Muss man sich auch erst mal trauen.

Sehr gemütliche location um spanische Tapas zu genießen, mit Brot, Couscous, Aubergine, Aioli usw. Ein wirklich schöner vegan-spanischer Abend, empfehlenswert.

Essen ist Großartig, Service total chaotisch, die Dame hinterm Tresen ist für die Bestellung,Getränkeausschank, Bedienung und als Koch tätig, die Servicekraft steht nur Rum. Aber wir gehen definitiv nochmal hin weil viel Potential

Von der Idee der Online-Bestellung super Konzept, leider völlig inakzeptabel gelöst. Auf die Speisen wartet man vergebens - bzw. erst wenn man die Bedienung anspricht. Wenn man eine Weinbar anbietet, bietet es sich auch an die Weinflaschen kühl zu lagern!

Waren mit 6 Personen dort. Laden zu 50% ausgebucht. Leider schlechter und langsamer Service. Weißwein war zwar lecker aber teilweise nicht mehr verfügbar oder nicht gekühlt. Essen kam mit 1Std Verzögerung. Alles in allem nettes Ambiente aber etwas langsam….

Es gab sehr leckeres Essen in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Selbst gebackenes Brot leckere Aioli vorweg. Alle Tapas die wir hatten waren sehr lecker, super abgeschmeckt. Absolute Empfehlung

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen 👍👍, nette Bedienung, nettes Ambiente. Werden wir wiederholen. Gegessen haben wir nichts. Konnte ich deshalb nicht bewerten. Sah aber lecker aus.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen das erste Mal dort zum Essen und waren leider sehr enttäuscht. In 2 Stunden haben wir jeder gerade einmal 2 Pfännchen + Vorspeise bekommen. Die Bestellungen haben einfach ewig gedauert, Geschirr wurde nicht abgeräumt...P/L naja, um satt zu werden (was wir nach 2 Stunden noch immer nicht waren aber keine Zeit mehr hatten noch länger zu bleiben) muss man deutlich mehr zahlen als anderswo. Bestellungen die über die App getätigt wurden sind teilweise vergessen worden. Wir waren mit die ersten im Restaurant und schon da war ein bestelltes Gericht nicht "lieferbar"...anstelle dessen wurde einfach etwas anderes vegetarisches gebracht ohne zu fragen was man alternativ haben möchte. Insgesamt überhaupt nicht zufrieden und für uns sicher das erste und letzte das letzte mal. Schade, denn eigentlich ist das Ambiente durchaus schön und die Idee ja auch nicht schlecht, aber die Umsetzung leider schon...

Wow. Absoluter Hammer. Ultra gemütlich, ganz toll eingerichtet. Suoer nette Service, ganz tolles Essen.

Wir sind am Freitag zu meinem Geburtstag dort eingekehrt. Die Tapas waren sehr lecker. Und mit 4 Personen kann man ja mehrere verschiedene Dinge probieren. Hervorheben möchte ich unsere sehr nette Bedienung, die ihre Arbeit super gemacht hat. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir kommen wieder !

Die Tapas sind wirklich super lecker und die vegetarische Auswahl ist vielfältig. Das Ambiente (an diesem Abend sogar mit live Musik) ist sehr angenehm und das Personal besonders freundlich. Ebenfalls überzeugend ist die Möglichkeit per Smartphone zu bestellen, wenn man möchte. Am Ende des Abends waren wir doch überrascht, wie günstig man sich hier an Tapas sattessen konnte. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder!

Essen gut und frisch! Nur leider hatte das Personal eine sehr unruhige Ausstrahlung und vergessen haben sie auch einiges. Passte nicht zum sonstigen Ambiente.

Waren zum Flying Tapas Essen dort. Es war einfach perfekt. Alle Speisen mit so viel Liebe zubereitet. Top Qualität der Zutaten. Service super. Man merkt das der Gast an erster Stelle steht. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. DANKE für den schönen Abend.

An sich sehr 😋 lecker, aber die Portionen sind, für meinen Geschmack, sehr klein. Das Sitzmöbel sowie Tischchen sind fürs gemütliche kulinarische Erlebnis bedingt geeignet. Das Bestellen über die App sorgt für Verwirrung. Dafür sehr nettes Personal und die Stimmung war auch sehr gut. ¡Buen intento!

Wir waren heute zum Tapas-Abend hier. Sehr schönes Ambiente und super nette Bedienung. 15 ‚Gänge‘ Tapas, teilweise ursprünglich spanisch, teilweise Eigenkreationen. Natürlich schmeckt nicht jedem alles gleich gut, aber es war für uns ein toller Abend mit leckerem Essen und wir waren pappsatt. Einen lieben Dank an Raissa und die nette Erklärung aller Gerichte. Wir kommen dann gerne auch mal so zum gemütlichen Sitzen bei leckerem Wein und Tapas ‚à la carte‘ in dieser originellen Location. Vielen Dank an das Team!

Wir sind jetzt das zweite Mal vor Ort gewesen. Nachdem beim ersten Mal die Speisen genau so lecker waren wie beim aktuellen Besuch, bleibt leider auch jetzt wieder der schlechte Beigeschmack der langen Wartezeiten, der sehr hektischen und überforderten Bedienung und die doch eher höheren Preise bezogen auf die Gesamtsituation. Wir haben geschlagene 1.5h auf Garnelen und Calamaris gewartet. Das extra geforderte Brot kam gar nicht mehr, wir hatten aber nach der langen Wartezeit auch einfach Keine Lust mehr. Hinzu kommen die sehr unkomfortablen Sitzbänke und ungünstig ausgewählten Tische. Leider nicht bequem, vor allem für mehr als 1 Stunde. (Wenn dann sollte man sich einen "richtigen Tisch" reservieren) Vermutlich werden wir hier nicht mehr einkehren, da uns zwar das Konzept und der Geschmack begeistert haben (in Siegen so kein 2. Mal!) aber die organisatorische Umsetzung so gar nicht und wir eher genervt nach Hause gefahren sind.

I been curious about this place for some time, and this was my first visit. Sadly I must say it is likely going to be my last. Good news first - the atmosphere is cozy, the drink menu is rich, so if one wants to sit over a few drinks with friends, snack on bread and olives, it's not a bad spot. After 3.5 hours and 37€ p/p (not including drinks) I left the restaurant tired, angry and hungry. I would be LONG gone if the times between courses would take less than 30 to 55 minutes and if there was more than one member of staff that could bill. The general feeling is that someone was trying to make a quick buck on Valentine's Day, by squeezing out a fixed menu on unsuspecting clientele. Upon arrival we were informed it's only cold kitchen tonight, or fixed menu, which is odd, considering the holiday but we put our trust in the staff and cooperated. From now on I will be calling this practice "gastronomic communism". The evening began quite promising, we were given a spread of Manchego, Serrano ham, olives, garlic dip, melon balls, freshly baked bread accompanied by some kind of soupy, sweet cocktail. The bread was fantastic - and I'm not a bread lover. About half an hour later, the garlic soup arrived, accompanied by another portion of fresh bread. The soup was very good, no complaints there, I would order it again. Another 20-30 minutes went by before we received the bite sized cod, on 3 spoons of chunky, lukewarm mashed potatoes, some more garlic sauce and 3 (!) tiny mussels. Yes, I know tapas are supposed to be small but... No. The fish was disappointing, the mussels were actually good - and I'm no mussel fan either. Fast forward another 40 minutes, we received the "paella". The contingent "paella" consisted of broken rice that isn't round (as paella should). It crunched on the teeth and tasted of nothing but tomatoes. On top rested a tiny Chorizo. After this "chef-d'oeuvre", we waited another 20 minutes. A waitress asked if I would like something else to drink. I politely declined the offer and asked if we could speed things up a bit, because it's a work-night, we're tired and we have already overstayed beyond our plans. I guess this was the point when I was marked as a "gastronomic dissident", because when I turned my head, a drink I didn't order appeared on my table (and later on the bill) and my attempts to get the attention of staff were ignored. I ran out of patience, wanting to pay, forget the dessert and finally leave, but the only staff who could bill would avoid me (I guess it's another mark of "gastronomic communism" - holding the guest hostage). It took 55 (!!!) minutes, from the moment we finished the "paella" and until received the disappointing dessert. It appeared like a muffin, with boiling raspberry groats and store bought waffle rolls on top. This construction was surrounded by blobs of what used to be whipped cream, before it melted from the heat (or my rage) and oozed on the plate. This may be the only Tapas Bar in Siegen (which is far from a culinary capital), but one can have FAR better return for their money in matter of service, flavor and, well, not leaving a restaurant hungry.

Das Essen ist grandios. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich, der Service spitze und die Chefin ein besonderer Mensch. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Ambiente ist wirklich total schön und super gemütlich:) toll eingerichtet, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Volle 5 Sterne dafür:) Zum Essen: Ich hatte drei Tapas, die mich geschmacklich leider nicht überzeugen konnten. Es ist nur eine Vermutung: ich schätze, dass die Falafelbällchen in Tomatensauce nicht selbstgemacht sind. Dafür waren sie für mich zu "industriell perfekt" geformt und geschmacklich leider etwas fad. Ich kann mich aber auch täuschen. Zum Service: wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 18:30 bis ca 23:30 da, wurden aber nur ein oder zweimal gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Wären wir öfters gefragt worden, hätte das Restaurant alleine an unserem Tisch deutlich mehr Umsatz machen können. Eigentlich ist es wohl so gedacht, dass man alles über den QR Code und das Smartphone bestellen "soll". Daran denkt man aber im Verlauf des Abends nicht mehr unbedingt. Als Gast ist man es doch eher gewohnt, regelmäßig gefragt zu werden. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob es vielleicht an zu wenig Personal lag bzw der Stresslevel zu hoch war - insgesamt wirkte das Servicepersonal etwas "lustlos" und ohne Freude bei der Arbeit. Höflich waren alle, aber die Gesichter sprachen Bände... Aus (meiner) Kundensicht hat das leider nicht zum Wohlfühlfaktor beigetragen. Schade, weil das Restaurant wirklich urgemütlich ist. Aber vielleicht war es nur an dem Abend so.

Es war eigentlich alles toll, aber für die Wartezeit von 1 Std. auf's Essen gibt es 1 Stern Abzug.

Ein wirklich gelungenes Etablissement in rustikal, gemütlicher Atmosphäre das zum Verweilen einlädt. Am Fuße der Siegener Altstadt gelegen, bekommt man hier eine ausgezeichnete Küche, die sich vom üblichen TamTam ganz klar abhebt. Doch neben der oft leichten, mediterran gehaltenen Symphonie an leckeren Speisen, bekommt man hier ebenso exquisite Spirituosen, feinsten Gin, fruchtige Weine und Kühles vom Fass. Vom ersten Blick von außen sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen, denn hinter dem schmalen Vor,- und Thekenbereich eröffnet sich nach hinten raus ein geräumiges Gewölbe, in welchem sich das dunkle Holz uredlen Interieurs und das gedämpfte Licht zu einem besonderen Ambiente verbinden, wie man es heute nur noch selten findet. Bezüglich dem wirklich guten Speis und Trank erfindet sich die Inhaberin immer wieder neu, mit liebevoll gewählten Themen Tagen, feiertaglichen Angeboten und musisch untermalten Veranstaltungen. Und wer ein guter Gast ist, der darf und bleibt auch schon mal länger als die Türe noch geöffnet ist. Zum lachen und zum Singen und um der echten Gespräche Willens mit noch echteren Menschen. Ich habe mir sagen lassen, dass der Brunch ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen ist. Das wiedereum kann ich nicht beurteilen... Ich brunch halt nicht. :-*

Super Ambiente, super essen und tolle Getränke. Unser Aufenthalt war überwiegend sehr schön. Das Personal war durchweg super freundlich. Es wäre wirklich ein perfekter Abend geworden, wenn es nicht ein kleines Manko geben würde. Leider ist irgendwann unser Tisch etwas in Vergessenheit geraten und bestelltes Essen und Getränke kamen nicht mehr regelmäßig an. Man hätte bei uns wesentlich mehr Geld verdienen können. Die junge Aushilfe hat dann dummweise noch ein Tablet mit Getränken über uns verschüttet, und wir waren klitschnass. So etwas kann natürlich passieren, aber wir hätten uns auch gefreut , wenn wir als Entschädigung vll einen Drink auf Haus bekommen hätten . Wenn der Service etwas durch gehender wird, kann man dort wirklich tolle Abende verbringen !

Das essen war lecker, aber die gleichen tapas Gerichte waren immer unterschiedlich portioniert. Mal mehr und mal weniger. Außerdem wurden die Bedienungen von der Chefin teilweise so zurecht gewiesen, daß man als Gast den Drang versprüht, die Bedienung aufmunternd in den Arm zu nehmen. Ansonsten ein leckerer Uriger Laden.

Ein ganz tolle gemütliche Location mit lecker Essen, guten Weinen und mega freundlichen Personal... Top Empfehlung....

Freundliches, bemühtes Personal und schönes Ambiente. Leider wurde uns ein Stapel Teller hingestellt, in dem sich eine Horde Silberfische befanden.. es wurde sich zwar entschuldigt, aber das geht eigentlich gar nicht.. Auch sollte es bei einem Restaurant, das sich Weinliebe auf die Fahne schreibt, sowohl Weiß- als auch Rotweingläser geben. Und zuletzt sollte es auch nicht passieren, dass der neubestellte Rotwein einfach in das Weißweinglas gekippt wird.. Vll lag es an der unerfahrenen Bedienung, aber empfehlen würde ich den Besuch nicht.
