Wir haben schon oft hier gegessen oder Essen abgeholt. Es gibt gute Angebote wie den Schnitzel-Montag, das Mittags-Schnitzel und das Mittagsbuffet. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und das Essen in Ordnung. (Juni 2026)

Authentisch deutsch. Große Schnitzel, große Auswahl und gute Preise.

Das Essen dort ist gut und der Service auch.

Alles schmeckt gut, Eis, Gemüse – die Preise sind günstig und es gibt reichlich zu essen. Auch für Senioren ist eine Bestellung möglich.

Zum Schlemmen kann man hier definitiv hingehen und wenn man ne größere Truppe ist besser reservieren vorher. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend, die Kellner sind aber solala und etwas unaufmerksam. Es steht zwar in der Karte an sich auf jeder Seite, aber sonst nirgends, dass man hier nicht mit Karte zahlen kann, was ich bei der Masse an Menschen die hier kommen und gehen etwas seltsam finde

Leider sehr enttäuschend Wir waren öfters hier aber ich denke diesmal war das letzte Mal Sahnesoße total wässerig und zu wenig Weil wir nachbestellt haben 3 Euro extra berechnet das hat es noch nie gegeben nun ja man lernt ja immer dazu 😉 ich denke für 15,99 ohne Beilage kann man auch was erwarten

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service und nicht teuer

Wer auf richtig altmodische Küche steht, ist hier genau richtig. Schnitzel für 10 Euro am Montag ist super. Schade nur, dass das Angebot nur für Schweineschnitzel gilt. Es gab auch Putenschnitzel, aber da zahlt man 16,50 Euro. Das finde ich etwas teuer.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Reichlich Portionen zu einem fairen Preis. Freundliche und unaufdringliche Bedienung. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

In der Nähe kann man gut essen gehen. Service und Atmosphäre sind erstklassig.

Wir waren am 17. April zum ersten Mal dort zum Abendessen. Super freundlich, guter Service und ein super leckeres Schnitzel – einfach erstklassig, und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren noch nicht ganz fertig mit dem Essen da kam der Chef schon kassieren. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit das wir den Platz verlassen sollten weil angeblich andere Gäste gewartet haben und noch einige Tische frei wären. Ich war schon einige male dort aber soetwas habe ich noch nie erlebt

Das Essen ich hatte eine xxl Currywurst mit Pommes und Salat war weniger als mittelmäßig. Die Sosse war lasch, Pommes ungewürzt und es fehlte eindeutig Currypulver. Das Salatdressing war fade und es fehlte die Bezeichnung der Salatsossen auf den Flaschen. Die Bohnen waren sehr holzig.Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und lustig allerdings wurden wir nucht mehr nach Dingen wie Getränken oder Desserts gefragt. Der Hammer allerdings war, dass wir heute vom Chef höchstpersönlich vor der vereinbahrten Zeit sehr unfreundlich rausgeschmissen wurden, da er den Tisch anderweitig vergeben wollte obwohl keine writeten Gäste weit und breit zu sehen waren. Uns sieht er nicht mehr wieder!!!!!!

Wir haben super lecker gegessen. Und das zu einem guten Preis. Ich werde auf jeden Fall öfter hierherkommen.

Fantastische Schnitzel, so groß wie der Teller – genau so, wie es sein soll. Ein Umweg lohnt sich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, um die anderen Schnitzel auf der Speisekarte zu probieren.

Man muss nachfragen, ob man den Hauptgang bestellen kann, nachdem man die Vorspeise aufgegessen hat. Das Personal ist mürrisch und macht gerne freche Bemerkungen. Die Atmosphäre ist seelenlos.

Die Einrichtung ist etwas altmodisch, aber das Essen ist sehr lecker und preiswert.

Ich war gestern zum 70. Geburtstag meiner Freundin dort essen. War mega begeistert vom Essen, super lecker und ein sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Klasse finde ich auch, das es Senioren Teller gibt, wo auch sehr viel drauf ist. Auch sehr schön finde ich, das man dort auch mit einem Rolli hin kann. Und kleine Kinder sind auch gerne dort gesehen und stören auch nicht, wenn sie am Tisch mal spielen. Werde dort nicht das letzte mal zu Gast sein !!! Ja kann man vergessen. Es dauert ewig bis man unfreundlich bedient wird, die Fritten sind wirklich ungenießbar, gerade die dickeren Fritten sind völlig roh… Entweder man macht es richtig, oder man lässt es bleiben, aber sowas kann man als Gastronom doch nicht weiter an den Kunden geben, Ich persönlich würde mich schämen. Ansonsten schmeckt das essen auch wirklich nicht besonders, keine Ahnung, wer dort die Küche schmeißt, aber selbst zuhause bekommt man das besser hin. War dann das erste und das letzte mal.

Wir hatten gerade mal einpaar Tage einen Termin Termin für 6 Personen,alle sind satt geworden,essen war super. Das Ambiente könnte besser sein, zum Beispiel einpaar Bilder vom Wurmtal und Umgebung. Einpaar Stühle waren am schwanken.

Das Essen war sehr schlecht, vieles davon war verdorben. Wir waren am Samstag mit 16 Personen dort, die angebotenen Hamburger waren nicht in Ordnung, es war wirklich schlecht, nie wieder.

Es gab ein All-you-can-eat-Angebot für Cheeseburger oder Hamburger für 10 Euro, also gingen wir gestern Abend mit 16 hungrigen Leuten hin. Wir aßen alle nur einen Burger, drei Leute nahmen sich einen zweiten, und dann war alles weg. Schade, denn wir waren noch hungrig. Der Kellner meinte, in einem Konkurrenzrestaurant bekäme man weniger Pommes und einen kleineren Burger. Wir bekamen keinen Rabatt und mussten jeder 10 Euro bezahlen. Hätte er uns nicht vorher sagen können, dass fast alles weg ist?

Schönes Lokal, leckeres Schnitzel, genau so, wie man es erwartet. Sehr guter Preis.

Früher war das Essen 50 Mal besser, jetzt ist es furchtbar. Wir mussten mit unserer Tochter in die Notaufnahme, weil sie eine Lebensmittelvergiftung hatte. Wir haben die Rechnung geschickt.

Das Essen heute war wirklich schlecht. Absolut widerlich. Die Scampi waren ungenießbar. Wir wollen unser Geld zurück.

Das Essen war schlecht. Das Personal unfreundlich. Früher sind wir immer mit der Familie hierhergekommen, aber meine Familie hat gesagt, wir sollen nicht hingehen, wir würden krank werden, und das stimmt.

Man wird begrüßt mit "ist ja hier wie am Bahnhof.. schrecklich" und dann bestellt man explizit aufgrund von Intoleranz eine Currywurst OHNE Röstzwiebeln und das selbst das scheint zu schwer zu sein. Nie wieder

Ein nettes und gemütliches Restaurant

Preis-Leistung stimmt, das Essen schmeckt und ist reichlich. Für Freunde von gut bürgerlicher Küche im eher rustikalen Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Schnitzel sind von absolut minderwertiger Qualität. Die Soße war die reinste Katastrophe.

Das Essen ist nichts Besonderes. Das Schnitzel ist okay, aber die Pommes und vor allem die Ofenkartoffeln sind fast ungenießbar. Noch schlimmer ist der mürrische Service. Unglaublich unfreundlich, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch in diesem Restaurant.

Service unglaublich ober sehr unverschämt hat nur rum gemekkerd unfreundlich hat eine gast an die Seite geschupst stand im im Weg wir waren mit 6 Leute essen unsere Tisch war so klein mit 6 Personen 4er Tisch viel Platz in restaurant habe unsere Teller auf ein Tisch gesetzt wo es frei war und ist der ober unverschämt geworden hat gemeckert auch ich war sauer durch sein Verhalten gegen uber uns wen ein oder nicht mit gasten um gehn kan muss er ein andere job suchen und beim Dessert war noch ein stuck plastic im Eis 🍨 auch da hat er dumm gereagierd Godzijdank hat der altere ober mit graue weiße bard mehr Verständnis und hat mit uns gesprochen und auch gesagt dass dass nicht ok ist.

Gute und deftige Küche. Die Auswahl hat für jeden etwas. Das Personal ist offen und sehr freundlich, da sind auch gerne ein paar lockere Sprüche dabei. 👍🏻👍🏻😉😉

We had a delicious meal at a great price, but the staff didn't pay any attention to us. Because of this, after waiting half an hour to order dessert, we left. You can't pay by card here!

The food is decent, though a bit greasy. Upon arrival, the man handling the affairs was apparently less than pleasant. The old, classic interior creates a pleasant, old-fashioned atmosphere.

The cream schnitzel is quite good, pre-ordering for takeaway works perfectly, and eating in is also fine. Unfortunately, they don't accept card payments...

We had dinner here as part of a training course. The schnitzels are huge and definitely worth the money. The country house has an outdoor area, which we only used for smoking due to the weather. VERY IMPORTANT: CASH ONLY!! The atmosphere is rustic, the staff is friendly and attentive, and we had a really lovely evening. I highly recommend it.

We were very satisfied. The food is delicious and plentiful. The service is very friendly. You walk in and immediately feel at home. The decor is cozy and rustic. It's a great place to linger. The prices are absolutely reasonable. No complaints whatsoever! 😁 Thank you and see you soon!

The price-performance ratio is excellent, the lunch buffet tastes very good, and the staff are always friendly. I also really like the ambiance with the Wurmtal valley.

Average quality. Nothing special. The price is justified. You can tell it's instant sauce and red cabbage from a jar. The food wasn't very hot when it arrived.

The restaurant has a ramp, and although we didn't mention it, we were given a wheelchair-accessible spot near the bar. However, it's better to let them know beforehand, as these spaces are limited. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We wanted to sit outside with our dog today in the sunshine (18 degrees Celsius). The waiter said it wasn't possible, "he'd catch a cold," hahaha. Afterwards, we went to the Nikolaus Grill around the corner and had a lovely time sitting outside with delicious food.

Good food in a traditional country-style restaurant. Excellent lunch menu with constantly changing dishes. Great specials all week long. We like to go there when we don't feel like cooking at home.

As always, it was delicious and the salads were regional. We'd happily return.

Food is alright. Large portions, that is a plus. But meat in schlemmertopf was pretty dry. Schnitzel however is always a good choice. Goulash soup was very salty. Service: very rude. Waiter dropped filthy knife on jacket, didn't even apologize or give us a heads up about the stain he made. We saw this later. When we ordered drinks he made us wait on purpose because "other people were waiting". Intentionally speaks only German, even when he saw we had a disabled person with us who could order for herself in Dutch (a cordon blue is cordon blue, same in Dutch/German)! And regarding payment methods: it is a cash-only restaurant. Regarding it is 2025, it is not that client-friendly... Atmosphere is okay. Rude waiters make atmosphere worse. They used to make jokes all the time in the past, but since today; this was our last visit there.

We were there today with a group of about 20 people. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. The only minor issue was that the waitress messed up the food a bit, as we were a larger group. Very friendly service. Most main courses come with salad from the salad buffet, and there's plenty of it. On Fridays, this restaurant always has XXL schnitzel day. These XXL schnitzels are truly XXL and taste great. I highly recommend it.

All in all: Well First, the positive: The restaurant is extremely clean all around. The waiter (or manager?) was always very friendly and accommodating and often had a good saying. The food itself wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't give it a Michelin star. It's just average restaurant food. Only some of the fries were oilier than I was after three hours of exercise. Towards the end, they served the wrong kind of waffle, but oh well, not that bad. The prices are acceptable. An important note: The advertised "accessible" parking space is actually in a gravel bed, which is difficult for wheelchair users to navigate.

Reasonably priced food, friendly service, wide selection, large portions, most of the menu items also available as senior citizen portions (smaller and cheaper).

It was disappointing. The taste was lacking, and a table for six was very cramped. We were given a table for four with two extra chairs, even though there was enough room to add a small table. However, this request was dismissed, and we had to make do with a too-small table for six. For us, that's a reason not to visit this restaurant again.

Great sun terrace and delicious food

Seven of us went there yesterday. None of us liked the food. But the worst part was the waitstaff. We had to deal with three of the guys from the restaurant, and all three of them were extremely rude. I'll never go there again.

This was my second time eating here, as I really enjoyed it the first time. The food is ready quickly, even when it's busy. My favorite is the generous schnitzels with delicious sauces. Delicious food at a good price. The salad bar is a bit basic and could be improved, and some background music would really enhance the atmosphere. All in all, a great meal and definitely worth it, especially if you come for the food and not necessarily the ambiance.

We were there on August 15, 2025. The welcome wasn't particularly warm. There was very little vegetables. And the XXL schnitzel wasn't cooked properly. It's a shame; we're not used to that.

The food and the service were both good and the ambience is super nice, at least for a foreigner. What's not nice for a foreigner is to have to pay with cash. When you are about to pay, the waiter comes to you with a huge wallet. That's a shame in 2025 in an European country.

The food is, as always, superb and delicious, plentiful, and served quickly. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the drinks :/ My husband barely managed to drink two beers in two hours. When I asked, he said it was too busy. We'll just keep drinking at home...

I ordered an all-you-can-eat currywurst. The taste was okay, but unfortunately, the sausage was only lukewarm. When I ordered a second portion, it seemed to me as if the waiter wasn't happy with it; the reply was, "It'll probably take a while." After 45 minutes, I asked again, which I don't understand. The first order took 5 minutes, while this one took 55 minutes, and yet the sausage still came lukewarm and this time with much less sauce. All-you-can-eat, but not really.

We were there today for the first and last time. First, the positive. An employee (maybe the boss?) was very nice. Always had a quick joke on his lips. Very nice to our children. Prices are moderate, I'd say. That was about it, unfortunately. There were four of us: two adults and two children. The outdoor area was unkempt, as were the restrooms. The salad buffet was okay. But the carrots and beets were dried out. Four identical bottles of dressing, and no one knew what was in them because they weren't labeled. The schnitzels were very large, but a no-go in terms of quality. Tough and stringy. They were also sitting in a bath of grease on the plate. The sauces were like pudding. They were served to us 10 minutes before the food arrived, as a precaution, to cool down. We all had different ones, and they were all equally bad. There were far too few fries for three people, but that wasn't a problem because they were wobbly and undercooked. My daughter had croquettes as a side dish, but they weren't served until 20 minutes after we'd finished eating, after asking several times. I don't know what you could do wrong with frozen croquettes, but they tasted awful. Our glasses were empty for quite some time. We had to wait to see a waiter to order. There were plenty of people milling around, but we were often ignored. We didn't eat three-quarters of our food because it was simply bad. We said no when asked if we wanted to take the rest with us. Then they asked why, and I said the meat was tough and stringy. The waiter reacted very arrogantly. When we wanted to pay, they kept us sitting for another 20 minutes until they finally told us to pay inside, even though everyone else was being billed outside. Conclusion: In my opinion, not recommended. We haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. You should also have cash with you because card payments aren't accepted. Oh, and we were charged an extra €3.50 for the croquettes. It's a shame, really, because this restaurant has a great location. They could make more of it.

You can eat well for little money and from 12 noon to 2:45 pm you can have lunch

The food was mediocre to poor. It had a bit of an aftertaste and was overflowing with flies. We had a beef steak and a Viennese schnitzel, but a peek into the kitchen afterward and our appetites were gone. The salad buffet wasn't anything special. The flexibility with payment was also poor. They didn't realize that payment was cash only, so we were sent into the village, but to no avail (everything was closed or it wasn't possible to use cashless cards). Finally, a Dutch guest asked for cash. It wasn't all friendly. I won't be back.

Friendly service; some look a bit surly, but once you speak to them, they're friendly too. The food is delicious and plentiful. The parking lot was full when we arrived, but it's also a takeout restaurant, so a spot quickly became available.

We enjoyed a delicious sandwich and a great cappuccino here during a tour. And, as is usually the case in Germany, for an excellent price.

Highly recommended. Some people here have also complained about the food, which is unfair. The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes at a fair price and good, home-style cooking. I was skeptical at first because of the low prices, but I was proven wrong.

Good, home-style cooking. Maybe not to everyone's taste, but if you want to eat comfortably in a quiet atmosphere, it's fine. A good buffet selection. Personally, I found it great. I would definitely recommend it.

The schnitzel was very tasty. The sauces were inedible. I had a peppercorn schnitzel. Water, tomato paste, and flour. Then I sprinkled 10 peppercorns onto the flour.

Went today because the pictures of the buffet always look "good". It was disappointing, no atmosphere, no friendly or helpful staff. Walking buffet looks nicer on the pictures than it is in reality. 2 stars because the potatoes tasted good and the gravy of the meat dishes, meat itself had a lot of fat in it or chicken fillet with nasty lumps so a waste of money. Dessert was apple sauce with something like yoghurt and a blob of jelly. Expensive soft drink that tasted watered down. Maybe the menu is better, but for me it was the last time.
