We had our annual goose menu last Friday. As in previous years, we felt very comfortable. It's nice to see that such a "traditional restaurant" has worked for generations and that investments have also been made in the "old" building. Service, as always, competent and friendly. The price/performance ratio is fine for me. Gladly again in 2025.

I once had a meal there with the company, great. Hospitable, top. Ambience also great. Only if you are looking for a chef who is also qualified and has 35 years of experience. Absolutely adaptable, you can imagine not even making it to the trial work. Even getting a rejection in advance is a disgrace if you aren't even allowed to prove yourself. But well, whatever the reasons are behind it, you don't know. Despite everything, a great restaurant.

Were invited to a big company anniversary on a Saturday evening. The service staff was very friendly, attentive and constantly present without being intrusive. Very professional! Since the number of guests was very large, a flying buffet was offered, which was very varied and delicious. The ambience in the “new” hall is simply great! We have had the pleasure of being a guest several times and are always happy to come back. We recommend!!

This house/restaurant no longer needs a recommendation because it is difficult to get a table there and is known in a wide area. Unfortunately, the food attracts too many customers and so does the ambience.

A top event location for high-quality wedding celebrations. You feel comfortable here and the atmosphere is fantastic. The cooperation between staff and service providers is excellent. Anyone celebrating here can look forward to a well-prepared team. As a photo booth operator and DJ, I can warmly recommend this location to my customers. The rooms are recommended for 100 people or more.

Very polite and courteous staff. The food and drinks are top. The location and gardens are a dream and ideal for larger celebrations. There is sufficient parking space to the right of the restaurant and another parking space on the opposite side of the street.

A wonderful property for a big celebration. A very large garden, a large terrace, lots of seating. The hall we were in was very spacious in terms of space for around 100 people and, in addition to very nice table arrangements, also included a dance floor. The sanitary facilities were also perfectly maintained and spacious. Plus super attentive, polite and friendly service. Absolutely recommended.

Was a guest at the IGM anniversary celebration. It's right on a big street - but lots of parking spaces directly on site. Everything barrier-free. Disabled toilet! Rustic, very cozy! Great ambience! Very nice garden for weddings. Friendly, helpful staff. Uniform clothing. Fast service! Enjoyed good home-style food! Perfect. Gladly again!

The food was very tasty and very plentiful, not really cheap, but the portions were enough to fill hungry men. Fine, not too large selection of dishes. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, but by no means intrusive, really excellent! Gladly again! I was currently at Haus Ridder for a silver wedding anniversary. There were no points of criticism, the service in particular shone with excellent behavior and politeness! I didn't know that there were lots of parking spaces at the back of Haus Ridder, a great building with a park around it (gallery), everything at its finest!

We were guests at the summer barbecue in the gallery. Grilled meat and fish were great. Large selection of fresh and delicious salads, antipasti and other side dishes. The service was very friendly. An all-round successful evening!

The location is ideal. The Landgadthof is well maintained and clean. The service is impeccable and attentive. The barbecue evening is a highlight where you definitely have to make a reservation. Food tastes delicious. Top seasoned and everything homemade. The meat is tender and the steak is medium. Even the salmon is very tender. The price/performance ratio is good. I'd love to come back.

The garden is beautifully landscaped, the food is very good and the service is very friendly.

There was only one vegan dish on the menu ("vegan curry"), but it was very tasty. Although there was no vegan dessert on the menu, a delicious oat mascarpone with strawberry sauce and fresh fruit was prepared for us upon request. We would say: Don't keep this great taste experience from the other guests and put it on the menu! Very attentive staff. When we ordered, it was immediately understood that we were vegan, and so extra vegan bread and vegan dips were served. Location clean and modernly furnished. Perhaps as a recommendation: the menu could be better marked for vegans, vegetarians or allergy sufferers. We'd love to come back.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a 60th birthday party today and I can hardly put my excitement into words. I have known Haus Ridder for a long time and is considered an absolute highlight in the region around Bocholt. The ambience, especially the new building, which is designed like an atrium and includes a beautiful garden landscape, is simply breathtaking. We were lucky enough to celebrate in the summer in beautiful weather, accompanied by live music from a charming little caravan. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It seemed like there was always a waiter nearby and you never had to wait long for drinks. The table service was present but never intrusive. What was particularly impressive was the competence of the staff, who were able to provide any information about food and drinks. It was a wonderful feeling to be served so professionally. A big compliment goes to the kitchen: the meat at the buffet was perfectly rosé fried, the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Every sauce was prepared to perfection. The buffet left nothing to be desired, from the salad buffet with homemade sauces to a variety of toppings. I would particularly like to highlight the men's creams, which are among the best from the Lower Rhine. You can feel that Haus Ridder is a family business where all family members work hand in hand. This collaboration and family spirit is rare these days and makes the experience here so special. After the meal we were invited to a disco in the Forum with live music in the garden. The DJ fulfilled every musical request and really got the party going. I was very surprised by the change I saw in Ridder. What was great years ago is even more impressive now. I can only recommend that anyone who has a big event should inquire here and hope that they get a place. I would like to thank you very much for this fantastic party, which I enjoyed very much. Haus Ridder is fully recommended for both small family celebrations and large events such as weddings and anniversaries.

The celebration took place in the gallery behind the Ridder country house. The food was really excellent, on Thursdays there is a barbecue buffet, which offers a wide variety of salads, meat and fish. We enjoyed it wonderfully and the service was attentive and good. The atmosphere on the terrace and the beautiful landscaped garden is simply fantastic. Most of the time, unless a train is passing by, it is very quiet and you can enjoy wonderful food, company and conversation. An absolute recommendation

All I can say here is that everything is perfect. We celebrated our own wedding there and were recently invited to one. We can only rave about individual events and directly in the restaurant. Service is great as always and they are extremely knowledgeable about allergens and can answer everything. I myself have to eat a gluten-free diet and was always given the best advice and everything was to my satisfaction.

Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut, beginnend vom Brot mit Dips und die verschiedenen Hauptgerichte waren super lecker und reichlich! Ganz besonders perfekt war der Service- das Personal sehr zugewandt und freundlich, außerdem ganz besonders aufmerksam. Rundherum ein wirklich wunderbarer Abend! Wir werden wiederkommen!

The best thing first: the service is really good. There's really nothing to complain about, but at that price you can probably ask for it. It's no longer good bourgeois. There were five of us, three of whom were trapped on a bench. 2 people had stomach surgery and therefore each ordered the senior plate. Overall, the food was OK, but to serve less for seniors, but to charge the same price as normal, that's outrageous. It doesn't surprise me that you can now see empty tables on Sunday lunchtime. You shouldn't just notice an upscale ambience at the checkout, but it starts with the entrance. Simply presenting the menu on a piece of paper doesn't match the prices that were on the menu at all. There's nothing left to do with soup and dessert. Simply place the sheet in a folder and the whole thing will be round. Our conclusion: We wish the operators continued success, but without us in the future.

Wir waren mit 11 Personen um meinen 80. Geburtstag zu begehen. Meine Frau bestellte einen Tisch, sodass wir an der Frontseite im neu renoviertem Zimmer sitzen könnten. Der Raum war sehr schön. Wir fühlten uns alle sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Bedienung war sehr, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Es waren vom 21. bis 80. Jahre einige Generationen vertreten, alle waren restlos begeistert. Danke an die Küche und die Bedienung. Wir waren nicht das Letzte Mal hier.

Prior arrangements are super uncomplicated, you immediately have a good feeling and your worries about the location and catering are immediately taken away. Wir hattef einen Saal für eine 80. Geburtstagsfeier mit 100 Personen gesucht. Ridder war mit dem modernen grossen Saal der perfekte Rahmen. Das Essen wurde am Achter- Tisch in Schüsseln serviert, für uns fremd, weil man bei uns in Baden meist das Essen auf dem Teller angerichtet bekommt. Hat aber gut geklappt, der Service war schnell und aufmerksam. Es war genügend Platz für individuelle Gespräche und Gruppenfotos, die wir bei dem schlechten Wetter drinnen machen mussten. Der Park draussen rundet den Rahmen sehr schön ab, war aber leider wegen des schlechten Wetters nicht zu nutzen. Rechtzeitige Reservierung ist erforderlich

A successful renovation BRAVO!!! Simply great

We actually booked a steak meal for €50 per person, the food was actually good starter and dessert, the other was buffet. Only actually steaks, roast beef was cut a little thicker. So we were already disappointed.

The grill buffet was excellent with really tasty and high quality meat and lots of unusual salads. The dips weren't common either. I particularly liked the chorizo ​​butter, which I had never had anywhere else.

Yesterday (March 14th) I was there for the "steak evening" and I have to say, there wasn't a single "real" steak ☹️not even the meat, which was beef, was a real steak, but fried/baked in one piece sliced ​​roast beef, sorry guys, that's not possible!! The remaining meat was pretty dry chicken, pork loin "steak" and dry-cooked pieces of pork fillet with bacon on it🤷I have no idea what that has to do with "steak evening".🙄Staff friendly and attentive, location also nice, the food unfortunately a total crash, maybe think about it, I would even pay €65 instead of €45 for something REAL, but you can't recommend the one from yesterday😓so, enough annoyed, it's just bad karma🤣🤣🤣

It's getting old but if you want to see something more modern, there's the gallery with a very beautiful garden! We got married there in a civil ceremony. It couldn't be better!

Landhaus Ridder is a very nice building with a beautiful garden, but it is the only restaurant where my food is stolen and the kitchen is locked so that I am no longer allowed to eat :( And then they charge so much money for dessert... unfortunately very sad. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's bearable.

Rustic pub with a restaurant and good home-style dishes meets a modern party location for every occasion. Whether it's bowling in the pub or celebrating a wedding in the gallery, the day will be a highlight. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Various themed days invite you to winter barbecues or Oktoberfest, for example.

Ein toller Landgasthof mit Familienbetrieb. Seit 40 Jahren das beste Restaurant, das ich kenne. Das Essen im Restaurant hat eine super Qualität und die Portionen sind immer ordentlich. Die Events in der Galerie sind klasse und bieten ein tolles themenbezogenes Buffett. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr professionell und mega freundlich. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Schönes Landgasthaus mit einer hervorragenden Karte. Empfehlenswert sind auf jeden Fall die Kürbiscremesuppe, das Wildgulasch, die Gänsebrust und natürlich die Herrencreme. Toller zuvorkommender Service.

Ich komme jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtsfeier dorthin zum Kegeln mit anschließendem Essen. Auch mehrer Hochzeitsfeiern habe ich hier schon besucht. Der Service ist tadellos, Getränke kommen stets zügig nach. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr solide. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei Ridder.

Sehr leckeres Gänsemenü. Gute Portionen und man immer noch etwas Nachschlag bekommen. Nur die Herrencreme zum Nachtisch war leider nicht so lecker und schmeckte stark nach Rum-Aroma. Ambiente ist altbacken, aber für 2024 ist scheinbar eine Renovierung geplant. Trotzdem definitiv eine absolute Empfehlung. Service ebenso sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Mit eines der besten Restaurants in der Ungebung! Die Küche ist modern und gleichzeitig traditionell. Das Essen wird immer Frisch zubereitet und schmeckt auch dementsprechend gut. Ob für große Veranstaltungen oder nur für ein gemütliches Abendessen es macht immer Spaß dort essen zu gehen.

Wir hatten unser Winterfest (Weihnachtsfeeier) bei euch. Und was muss ich sagen : Super freundliches Personal, geile Lokalität, super sauber und sehr gutes Essen. Komme gerne wieder.

Der gemischte Salat war super, das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Über die Einrichtung, in der Eiche rustikal dominiert, kann man sich streiten. Aber definitiv eine Empfehlung wert.

Das ERSTE Mal, dass wir schon am Telefon gefragt wurden, ob die angekündigte Rollstuhlfahrerin bevorzugt im Rollstuhl bleibt oder ob ein "normaler" Stuhl bevorzugt wird...das habe ich noch in keinem Restaurant erlebt...und entsprechend positiv betraten (berollten) wir das Landhaus Ridder. Das Ambiente war nicht sonderlich modern, doch absolut passend. Da aber alles top gepflegt und blitzsauber war, tat dies der Sache keinen Abbruch. "Authentisch" trifft es wohl am besten. Die Küche war hervorragend (!), das Personal extrem freundlich, die Preise absolut angemessen. Schon heute freuen wir uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Gut besuchter älterer Landgasthaus. Am Sonntag scheint es nur Meneus zu geben. Es stehen aber 9 verschiedene zur Auswahl. Es gibt sogar eine vegane Hauptspeise, aber leider keine vegane Vorspeise. Das Restaurant ist von innen größer, als es von außen wirkt. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir bekamen, weil wir lange auf das Essen warten mussten, einen gratis Kaffee angeboten. Die Portionen sind recht groß und man kann den Rest mitnehmen. Das Ambiente ist leider auf dem Niveau von den 80er.

Sehr freundliches Team, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ambiente etwas altbacken. Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Mein Kürbis - Risotto war allerdings nicht für den großen Hunger gedacht. Preislich eher etwas gehobene Klasse.

Ein schöner großer Raum (Saal) zum feiern mit vielen Personen. Tolles und sehr professionelles Team. Auch der schöne Garten mit Terasse lädt zum verweilen ein und trägt zum wohlfühlen bei. Hier wird man als Gast verwöhnt. So soll es sein. 👍

Ein Essen von dem man träumt. Der Azubi aus der Küche hat mehrfach den Titel "Bester Koch-Azubi Deutschlands" gewonnen. Das schafft kein Azubi aus einer mittelmäßigen Küche.

Das Essen war vorzüglich wie immer. Kann ich weiter empfehlen, aber sicherheitshalber immer reservieren.
