THANK YOU SO MUCH for the food and the attentive service. We celebrated our birthday and were once again thrilled. Once again very tasty and prepared with love. Always an experience. Keep it up.

Were there for a wine evening (menu with coordinated wine accompaniment) Food and wine went well together. I have to say that I have had better food in other locations for the same price and have been given wines to go with the food that also taste good without the food. BUT: the people in service make up for a lot. Real people from the Lower Rhine who wear their hearts on their sleeves and can adapt well to each guest individually. I found the operating team to be outstanding.

The atmosphere is exceptionally cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food is not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious—a true delight for the palate. In short... just good. It couldn't be better. Food well prepared, well presented. Service staff are friendly, know what they are talking about and try to fulfill all your wishes. The ambience is unique.

We were there this morning for the breakfast buffet (with reservation!!!) Unfortunately we were disappointed!!! When asked whether boiled eggs could be refilled, the hesitant answer was yes, but it would take 15 minutes (well, we probably had time for my husband's belated birthday). Then the highlight: I asked later whether fruit salad could be refilled (there was one there!!! BOWL for ALL guests! The answer was: hmm, I only have apples and mangoes, fresh produce won't arrive until tomorrow. We didn't expect so many guests. That's not possible in my opinion!!! We were with 11 people!! We give the full 5 stars because it was a wonderful evening. We invited 18 guests there to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. In a preliminary conversation with Anette, we were able to precisely define our wishes and ideas and these were shown in a menu printed especially for this occasion. A very warm welcome, a very friendly service that met our every need and the excellent food, both the arrangement on the plates and the taste, made this evening unforgettable for everyone. THANK YOU to everyone at this point also on behalf of my mother and all guests ❤️👍☀️👌

We had reserved online. Super easy. When we arrived, all the seats were taken at first glance. We didn't have the impression that the staff was stressed. Neither the service staff nor in the kitchen. The selected dishes were prepared to the eye and tasty. The amount just right. Everything was done and we also had dessert. An experience. Thank you for this wonderful culinary evening. The coalfish was cooked to perfection. The service is heartfelt ❤️. Red lentil dal is a composition. Vegan cuisine is also fun. Gladly again. Every visit is a culinary experience. The pumpkin seeds with fennel salad and sea bass were also at star cuisine level. We'd love to come back.

Today we were again very satisfied with the food and the friendly service. The only thing that remains to be noted is the relatively high volume when the restaurant is full.

The food was very good, we had salad, vegetarian and wild boar, so very varied. There was nothing to complain about. The service was competent and friendly. We would love to come back!

Yesterday we ate for the first time at Landgasthof Westrich, on the recommendation of a dear catering colleague. Thanks for the tip, K.! 😉 Upon entering it was already pleasantly busy—for me, often a good sign of a quality restaurant. We got a nice table with some privacy, and despite the crowds the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Our dinner started with a delicious Hokkaido pumpkin soup and fries special with a delicious sauce and bacon. As a main course I chose the Wirsing wild boar roulade, while my husband enjoyed a pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fried potatoes. Thanks to the 3-for-2 promotion, we received an extra course as a surprise: a fresh sorbet for dessert. The drinks always arrived at the table very quickly, which shows that the service here is well coordinated. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole evening extra enjoyable. The furnishings in the former cowshed are a perfect mix of authentic and modern, and even the details, such as the sustainable towels in the toilet, have been well thought out. We will definitely come back here!

Dear team from Landgasthof Westrich Yesterday I was able to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family, friends and acquaintances. And I have to say, everything was great again. Drinking coffee with delicious cake, the evening menu and, at the end, the delicious dessert, it was perfect. And as always we were served very friendly. Excellent food. We simply have to support such restaurants by going out to eat there and not just getting a kebab from a Turkish or Syrian restaurant. The market situation is not easy for everyone and we have to support such great restaurant owners. All the best for you

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Ambiente hat uns gefallen und wir wurden freundlichen empfangen und sehr gut bewirtet. Wir empfehlen das Landgasthaus auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wij komen inmiddels regelmatig bij Restaurant Westrich en elke keer zijn we weer onder de indruk. Het eten is heerlijk, de kwaliteit uitstekend en de service simpelweg top. De bediening is vriendelijk, snel en professioneel, en wat het extra prettig maakt: de meeste medewerkers spreken Nederlands. We voelen ons hier altijd meer dan welkom. Wat ons telkens opvalt, is dat we in Nederland veel meer betalen voor minder kwaliteit en minder service. Hier krijg je topkwaliteit voor een eerlijke prijs – een verademing! Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor wie in de buurt van Kleve goed wil eten en gastvrijheid op topniveau zoekt!

There were four of us at breakfast. It was really well filled with guests and despite it being full, everyone was relaxed, the service was always friendly, and the selection of the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Here, too, the service always made sure that everything was well replenished so that there was always enough of everything available. From rolls to bread, jam, cheese, cold cuts, fish fried sausages, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs. And much more, everything your heart desires. We will definitely have breakfast there again and I can definitely recommend it.

Wie immer ist das gesamte Team besonders bemüht allen ein guter Gastgeber zu sein, denn das Restaurant ist wie fast immer sehr ģut besucht. Leider konnte das Essen nicht das halten, was es versprach und eigentlich sein sollte/ muss, denn es wurde kalt serviert. Sollte/ darf eigentlich nicht passieren, aber wo Menschen arbeiten, da passieren halt Fehler. Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass das Team in der Nachbesprechung eine kritische Aufarbeitung durchführen wird.

Hier verbrachten wir ein ausgedehntes Mittagessen in sehr freundlicher und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Essen war einfach köstlich... Maronenravioli, die auf der Zunge schmolzen, Petermännchen Fisch, toll angerichtet, ( eine Augenweide) und dann dieser sehr leckere und trotzdem deftige Endivienstampf dazu. Toll. Der Bedienung sei stets Dank für das Lächeln, die Freundlichkeit und die gute Laune im Team, die man am Rande auffängt. Unaufdringlich der Service, eine Umgebung, die ein gemütliches Essen möglich macht. Der abschließende sehr sehr gute Kaffee und der Lakritzschnaps machen das Essen rund ...und für mich immer so gut , dass ich mich schon freue bald wieder reservieren zu können.

Alles wie immer bestens. Leckeres Essen, toller Service. Wir gehen gerne dort essen. Hier ist es total gemütlich und herzlich.

Nice atmosphere and very nice staff. Vegan burger was delicious. There are also two vegan before and after meals. It took a while to wait for the main course and the vegan selection could have been a little larger. Still highly recommended. The toilets in particular are nice and offer pleasant towels to dry your hands.

The inn was decorated for autumn/pre-Christmas, not too much and not too little. Super nice staff and very tasty food with a wine recommendation. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We held our regulars' table there on the 3rd Advent. A very nice atmosphere and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Everything exudes a family atmosphere. Very 'lady-friendly' sanitary facilities❤️ The food was excellent, along with the 'greetings from the kitchen' with home-baked bread, etc. We will definitely come back and include the Landgasthof Westrich in our motorcycle tours in the summer. Very, very tasty food with a good price/performance ratio. Friendly service and pleasantly unobtrusive service. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the Christmas menu on Boxing Day.

Everything was very, very good. I have a wheat intolerance. Here you are not a nuisance, but you will be served naturally and in a very friendly manner. There was an incredibly large selection of great dishes for me. Many things are made from spelled. Even the cookie with the espresso! The service is perfectly organized. A look into the open kitchen shows that people enjoy cooking and working here. And you can taste it too. We will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, especially now in the run-up to Christmas. The menu of roast goose and red deer roulades were great! Price-performance ratio very good. All the service staff were nice and accommodating. People like to give a good tip. Due to the modern rounds "noise absorber" on the wall, the noise level has become noticeably lower!

Great breakfast and everyone was very friendly, I would recommend it at any time and we will definitely come back.

As always, it was and was super delicious. What you particularly notice is how they interact with each other and it's really fun to watch, especially with the little jokes. Simply put, friendly staff and always very attentive. Every time it's a little experience to eat there. Always my pleasure :)

Beautiful location, good and friendly service and excellent cuisine! Update November 2021: continued high level, great service, recommended! Update March 2022: Today I was served the best hake I've ever eaten (I'm 73 years old)! Update August 2023: continued excellent performance in cuisine and service. I am neither related nor related by marriage to the owners and I only post facts here, period!! Update November 14, 2024: Continued top performance in the kitchen and service. The price/performance ratio is at the top!!

We had a great evening, with excellent food, fantastic, very attentive service, charming and friendly, really great. The ambience is ok, but there is room for improvement. Personally, I was cold. Our daughter was cold too. This is rather unfavorable for comfort. The whole atmosphere could be warmer, just like the rooms. But again, the food was great and we will come back and dress warmer. The ambience and service were great as always, unfortunately the menu on site differed from the menu online when it came to the side dishes for the salad. I was already mentally looking forward to the fried mushrooms... the fried chicken I chose was a very tasty alternative. The "basic salad" as the main course was quite soggy and the ingredients were cut quite small. I personally found the price for the porridge a bit too high. The rest of the dishes were, as usual, flawless.

As always, it was a complete pleasure. The food is fantastic and the service is very good.

Vor diesem Familientreffen war ich bereits zweimal dort essen. Da hatte alles super geklappt. Von der freundlichen Bedienung bis zum hervorragendem Essen. Doch jetzt vor ca. 2 Wochen war die kleine Feier mit Freunden und Familie eine Katastrophe. Es klappte überhaupt nicht mit der Bedienung. Leeres Geschirr und leere Gläser standen vor uns. Es kam keiner, um uns nach weiteren Wünschen zu fragen. Das im Vorfeld vereinbarte Essen kam mit gut einer Stunde Verspätung auf den Tisch. Schade, dass alles so schleppend und unpersönlich ablief, denn das Essen war sehr lecker und gut. Für eine Feier ist dieses Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen.

The four of us spent a very nice evening at the Landgasthof Westrich. The staff is very attentive, friendly and exudes a family-like atmosphere. There was a suitable dish on the menu for everyone, vegetarian dishes as well as game and other meat dishes. The house-made spelled ravioli (starter) are excellent. In the main course I really enjoyed roast venison with red cabbage and dumplings (dish of the day). The red cabbage in particular was amazing. Finally, there is a large selection of exciting spirits and delicious desserts. We'd love to come back!

A lovely evening with great food, everything was a success!

For a Viennese style schnitzel (pork) with fried potatoes and a side cucumber salad €20 plus pepper cream sauce €3.90! Nothing for the normal wallet, this system of paying extra for everything. Where is this supposed to lead? At least it was tasty, but you should also expect service to be good too.

My favorite restaurant around here! The food is excellent and so is the service. There is also a great children's menu and a cupboard with toys/books/art stuff for the little ones, a big plus for families 😁 Everything is very clean and the ambience is great. We had the Hubertus menu, i.e. game. The starters (wild boar ham, game essence and wild goose breast pastrami) were really good. The “Royal from Wild Rabbit” tastes good, but the outside coating is hard and impossible to chew. Too bad! The main course (including sauerbraten of red deer) was unfortunately a bit dry. Maybe this lean meat just doesn't work well for this dish. The side dishes and sauces were fine, dense in flavor and generously seasoned. The dessert was ok, but a bit uninspired. The wines were cleverly selected, especially the dessert wine was delicious. The service was friendly and somewhat rustic. It would be nice if you said again when you put the plates in what you can look forward to. So we had to pull out the menu again and again (it worked, we can read, but different is nicer). Conclusion: light and shadow. Next time we would prefer to eat à la carte again. We were always happy with that.

Not easy to find, but worth it!

A very warm atmosphere. Nice staff, fast service and first class food. I can only recommend it to everyone, but even during the week only with a table reservation.

We were able to celebrate our wedding at the Landgasthof Westrich. We couldn't have imagined a better location. From the first conversation to picking up our gifts the next day, everything was perfect. The preparation, the support before, during and after the event, the service and the food were simply perfect. The owners and service staff go to great lengths to fulfill all wishes. On the day itself you can concentrate completely on yourself and have nothing to do with construction etc. Not only did we as the bride and groom like the location, our guests were also overwhelmed. We would like to thank the Landgasthof Westrich team and will always return to the place of our most beautiful day.

As always, a successful evening with wonderful food and friendly staff. We'll be back... always... with pleasure
