Landgasthof Schlösslekeller in Lauingen (Donau)

Ein wirklich gelungener Besuch in der Dillinger Straße. Das Essen hat uns auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch wunderbar angerichtet. Besonders die Kombination aus dem herzhaften Schnitzel und dem liebevoll garnierten Dessert mit der frischen Minze hat uns begeistert. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Alles wirkte sehr frisch und hochwertig. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder, um uns erneut verwöhnen zu lassen. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die in Lauingen gut essen möchten.

Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen ist ganz ausgezeichnet und der Service wirklich freundlich. Die Preise sind absolut okay. Auch der Wein war ganz hervorragend. Eine echte Alternative zum Landgasthof Sonne. Schön wenn es auf so kleinen Raum gleich zwei sehr gute Optionen gibt.

Essen ist typische Hausmannskost.. Leider nichts besonderes aber der Personal ist super nett und zuvorkommend.

Die Lage ist gut und der Biergarten sehr gemütlich. Das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Schnitzel allerdings war höchstens 2mm dünn, kein Ei in der Panade und von wegen in Butter gebraten... Fritteuse Die Pommes total trocken und fast ungenießbar,2 bis 3 mal in der Fritteuse wiedererwärmt. Der Salat zwar frisch aber viel zu sauer. Ein 2. Mal muss ich dort nicht mehr hin.

Hatten spontan an einem Sonntag noch kurzfristig angerufen und nach einem Platz gefragt. Bisher waren wir nur bei dem vorherigen Besitzer einmal hier. Uns wurde noch ein Platz bereitgestellt und was soll ich sagen, es hat sich gelohnt!😌 Der Zwiebelrostbraten war super, mit Pommes hatte ich ihn noch nie gegessen aber diese waren sehr schmackhaft dazu. Die Bedingung war sehr freundlich und auch für ein paar Späßchen zu haben🤭. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Preis-Leistung bei so einer netten und gemütlichen Atmosphäre.. dazu ein gutes Essen - einfach top. Update: Speisekarte bietet mittlerweile noch mehr Auswahl! Der schwäbische Rostbraten war wirklich überragend. Käsespätzle welche es neuerdings hier gibt waren würzig, cremig, so gut😋!

Alle Gerichte haben gut geschmeckt und man fühlt sich dort wohl.

Wir waren spontan auf der Rückreise und wurden in dem Landgasthof Schlösslekeller kulinarisch mit schwäbischen Schmankerln verwöhnt. Sehr freundliche Wirtsleut und Serviceteam. Frisch geklopftes Cordon Bleu und hausgemachter Kaiserschmarrn ist zu empfehlen. ☺️🤤

Das Essen war sehr sehr gut, und die Bedienung absolut super und sehr sehr hoeflich. Genau so wie wir uns das gewünscht haben

War lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, jedoch das Essen hat für 10 Personen etwas auf sich warten lassen (1 Stunde nach Bestellung). Jedoch haben wir alle sehr zügig hintereinander das Essen bekommen und konnten somit miteinander essen. Bei 3 von 10 war das Essen leider fast kalt, aber sue wollten nichts der Bedienung sagen. Hier der Apell einfach an die Küche "ihr kocht so gut, dass es schon zu schade ist, wenn man es fast kalt genießen muss, nur damit alle miteinander Essen können". Lasst euch dazu was einfallen, denn ihr seid alle toll und das Ambiente stimmt auch. Es wäre schade, wenn wegen sowas der Ruf darunter leiden würde. Alles Gute Euch und ich freu mich schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wir haben das Restaurant besucht und einen sehr angenehmen Abend verbracht. Das Wiener Schnitzel war außen ausgezeichnet knusprig und innen äußerst zart und saftig – geschmacklich hervorragend. Nach dem Hauptgang bestand der Wunsch nach einem Schokoladendessert, welches leider nicht auf der Karte verfügbar war. Der Chef des Restaurants war persönlich anwesend und nahm sich die Zeit, exklusiv für mich ein Schokoladen-Soufflé mit warmen Himbeeren und Apfelstrudel-Eis zuzubereiten. Qualität, Präsentation und Geschmack waren auf höchstem Niveau.🥹 Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den aufmerksamen und professionellen Service sowie insbesondere an den Chef des Hauses für dieses besondere Engagement. Das Restaurant ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.😊

Highly recommended! We arrived spontaneously as a group of four, and they rearranged things so we could get a table. Food and drinks arrived quickly. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Salad was included. If you're ever in the area, stop by. I highly recommend it! 👍

The Landgasthof Schlösslekeller in Lauingen is a small, cozy restaurant with plenty of charm and delicious food at fair prices. Of course, tastes differ – those who are particularly picky might find one or two minor details to complain about (e.g., the salad with toast). Overall, however, the restaurant impresses with its cozy atmosphere and a harmonious overall package. Since it's very popular and often full, reservations are recommended – it's easy and convenient to do so via the website. A place to relax and enjoy!

The service was very friendly, and we were able to get a table without a reservation. We had soup with three different toppings (pre-made products), a large side salad with schnitzel strips, and a sausage salad. The food was good. Good value for money.

Four of us were there today and got a seat outside right away, even though it was very noisy, right on the main street. The drinks came pretty quickly, but we had to wait 45 minutes for the food, even though it wasn't very busy. We had two schnitzels with fries, one medallion with spaetzle, croquettes, and vegetables, although the vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) were still very hard. It should have been cooked longer! And one swollen potato with fries and sauce (the potato salad was unfortunately out). Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the swollen potato with the sauce because both were completely oversalted. With the medallions, you could only eat one of them; the second was much too thick and therefore undercooked! The schnitzels tasted very much like a deep fryer, so my son felt quite sick afterward. Bottom line: we tried it today, but we definitely won't go back to the restaurant! We eat out very often and I find that it's getting more and more expensive and the quality is getting worse! What a shame!

We stopped there for lunch. We had roast pork and roast beef with onions. Both dishes were incredibly delicious. The plates were preheated and the portions were generous enough to fill you up. A big thank you to the kitchen and the friendly service.

I celebrated my birthday there yesterday and was very pleased. The food was very good and the service friendly and attentive. It was a lovely evening.

Outside tables were closed as it had been raining earlier in the day, although rain had cleared and it was completely sunny outside. All tables inside except 1 were taken, the lady there told us the last table was booked and we were not welcome to wait. What the actual? Incredibly rude and everyone was staring at us like we were complete aliens. I’ve never felt so embarrassed for trying to eat somewhere! Edit: It’s not just because of the rain that I gave it a star. I’ve never in my entire life experienced a rude situation like this. The woman there completely ignored us, but she wasn’t busy. So we had to ask ourselves, do you have a table? Or can we wait for a table? No. There is no table here and no, we are not allowed to wait. Really??? Just “No. No. Nooo. Bye.” I can’t recommend anyone to eat there, with the risk that they really don’t offer any service, just make you unwelcome.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was attentive and courteous. Even special requests were fulfilled promptly and perfectly.

Today, after visiting the outdoor pool, we were spontaneously looking for a nice beer garden and luckily ended up here. We initially sat outside and were about to leave because of the unsettled weather when the super-friendly waitress even booked us a table inside, even though we had reservations. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, attentive, and quick, and the atmosphere was very cozy and pleasant. And, most importantly for us as a family, it's very, very child-friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The Swiss sausage salad was a delicacy at the previous tenant's, but now it's a serious disappointment. Bland sausage carelessly drowned in vinegar, the cheese as tasty as a paper bag. Certainly not again! What a shame.

Insanely delicious and inexpensive food. Service for us was also very, very friendly. The plates are preheated and you get a really nice hot plate. Roast pork buttery soft, you don't need a knife to eat it! Schnitzel is also extremely tender. Chapeau to the chef!

Unable to choose a table despite free tables, food was average, service was snippy, and fries instead of croquettes weren't available. Hello Schlösslekeller team, To clarify and answer: We also had a reservation and naturally waited until someone came and assigned us a table. Unfortunately, no one showed up! Standing at the counter for minutes without being noticed, even though there were many free tables, is inhospitable in my opinion. We actually allowed ourselves to take a seat. All the two-person tables in the room were free, but the "friendly" server then made it clear to us that we were sitting at the wrong two-person table. That's understandable, but we also found it inhospitable. Tastes differ, you're right, but... We both politely pointed out the "Spätzle." As a restaurateur, I would ask what didn't taste good, but nobody cared. The "friendly" server didn't understand my change from a coquette to fries, and if the change had cost an extra charge, that would have been fine. But being yelled at as a guest for it is the third level of inhospitality on my list. Your food selection is perfectly adequate, I'm happy to agree with you there. My detailed letter shows how different perceptions can be.

We were eating with a group of 20 people. Everyone was very satisfied. Taste and quantity was very good.

Partly, as far as the organization is concerned, there is still a lot of room for improvement.....otherwise, the restaurant is recommended for good home-style dining again.

Ordered onion roast, was asked for cooking level and got it exactly. In terms of taste, everything was fine, the service was friendly and there were no long waiting times, even though the hut was completely true. Will definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly. The Württemberg wine was delicious. Finally an innkeeper who also offers lovely types of wine. The pork loins in mushroom cream sauce were very tasty. The food came very quickly. The preheated plates were a big plus. We'll definitely be back.

Was there for a camaraderie evening with the Funny Brothers Club. The onion roast had a few small, slightly tougher spots (which can happen with roast, the cook can't see them), but it was fried exactly to my taste. It tasted great. The service was also very good. I will definitely be back and the board has already decided to hold another fellowship evening at your place in the fall.

Unfortunately I have to give one star to write a review. My husband and I spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner there yesterday at 5:50 p.m. According to the statement there, everyone was reserved for 5:30 p.m. The restaurant was empty, 1 table was occupied and there was no reserved sign on any of the other tables. We've already passed it 3 times in an hour and there were always the same 3 cars behind and in front of the parking lot. Then we drove to a restaurant and in retrospect we were more than happy there. On the way home we passed here again after 7 p.m. and the 3 vehicles were gone but 5 new ones BUT FULLY BOOKED looks different. We both come from the catering industry, yesterday is a death sentence for any catering industry. If the person who made the reservation doesn't come or is more than 15 minutes late, you take the guests who bring the money and come back if things are good. NEVER ASKED HERE AGAIN.

I wonder how some of the reviews here come about. Luckily, I'm a person who makes up my own mind. The two of us were eating in the mouse trap on Sunday evening. The team gave us a very nice and friendly welcome, the atmosphere is very cozy and clean. For dinner we had schnitzel with fries, which was served very quickly. The portion was very generous and the food 😋 delicious. The boss immediately responded to a special customer request (gluten allergy sufferers) and also seemed very professional. I will definitely celebrate my birthday there.

First-class service, friendly, great reception, great ambience and furnishings. There is a plentiful selection of food, meals are served quickly, hot and generous - no one has to go home hungry. Unfortunately we were not very pleased with our visit today with a small group. We made a reservation for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday weeks ago. We got the drinks after 22 minutes. We got the food after 1 hour and 10 minutes. Unfortunately it's a bit sad, especially when there's a small child there. You should make sure that at least the child gets his cookies with sauce. Yes, now the food. Unfortunately there wasn't the ticket for reservation like 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately there was nothing vegetarian, the fries were seasoned too much, the schnitzels were a bit too thin and in the pan for too long on the edges so that they were dark and hard. With the little dishes there was only spaetzle if you asked if you could also get cheese spaetzle. Wasn't that possible even though they were on the DINA 4 page which was the day's menu? Drinks were only served once, at the beginning. After all the glasses were empty, they had been standing there for a good 25 minutes. Someone asked. Unfortunately not our day. Eating too late. Vegetarian dishes not available. Nobody asked for dessert. There wasn't much to drink. So we were there for the first time and the last time.

Had a family dinner with 13 people today. Our table was attractively set in the very cozy next room. The service is friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was served with an extremely acceptable waiting time. We all enjoyed it very much, the portions were more than sufficient and appetizingly prepared. Tastes wonderful. I'm already looking forward to the next stop. Went to the Schlösslekeller again today for lunch with the family. We were more than satisfied again. From the warm, friendly service to the quality and taste of the food, I was completely impressed. It was definitely not the last stop.

Went there with the family for Christmas dinner. We still know the operator from the Fischerheim. As always, delicious, portions were plentiful. Nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We'll be back. Happy New Year

You can eat deliciously, the service is very good, only one point is deducted because the prices are a bit too high. Update 12/26/24 There was a small menu for Christmas dinner with the family, unfortunately the game goulash was already out and there was no fish on the menu, the rest were typical dishes, nothing special and when we went out to eat we didn't really want to eat schnitzel because I can do that at home too make. It was a bit disappointing

Unfortunately very disappointing. The menu is similar to that of the previous tenant, but the quality of the dishes does not come close to the previous level. Everything seems careless and without the charm that the inn used to have. It feels like you're trying to cash in on old reputation without really deserving it. Too bad!!!

I find the previous post and comment a disgrace!!! I was there in the summer and got the same plate. ONLY it was the old tenant and his cook. You can't decorate yourself with someone else's feathers!!!

We had dinner in the Schlösslekeller a week ago. The service was very nice and the food was on the table soon. Unfortunately I have to say that all of our meals were very disappointing. The onion roast was incredibly tough and overall the dishes had no taste. We won't come back again.

Had to spend 2 hours waiting for the next drink. Service was overwhelmed due to the large number of guests and only came back when the first people left the restaurant. The food was reasonable for the price, but the spaetzle was overcooked

We were there with great anticipation after the reopening at the beginning of November. We were a few people and this was also announced very early. The ambience is really nice and very clean. That's why the food was even more disappointing. The taste was nothing. The spaetzle had no taste and was soggy. The steak was tough, dishes hardly had any sauce. A small salad was the same size as a side salad but cost twice as much. But it tasted really good. You had to wait forever to drink and to eat where you got the food after 1.5 hours. All in all a disappointing evening, which was unfortunately the last time we were there.

I had an onion roast there, the meat looked like it was streaked with fat from the neck and there was a strip of tendon or whatever you call it running through the middle. This meat had nothing to do with onion roast roast, it was just a shame to serve something like that

We were in the beer garden and unfortunately a bit disappointed with the service. Although it wasn't very busy, it took half an hour for our order to be taken. Guests who had arrived at the same time had already had their food. During the course of the evening (3 hours) the waitress only came to us once. Too bad! The food was wonderful, both in terms of taste and to the eye. The ambience is spoiled in summer by the extremely loud traffic, but the tenants can't do anything about that.

From a local perspective, the Schlösslekeller near Lauingen was and is great! Unfortunately the "landlords" don't fit in and I have to say: It's good that the tenants are changing soon!!!!! If I want to run an upscale restaurant, I also have to know how to deal with criticism, legitimate criticism. Everything can't always be 100%, that's clear, but dismissing a complaint from a guest that the waitress has forwarded to the boss with a derogatory hand gesture and the comment "Whatever" is not appropriate. The boss didn't come to our table to make inquiries herself, but even had the waitress prepare the bill and collect it. This is bottom drawer for a place like this!

We were on a bike tour on Sunday and stopped at Schlößle for lunch. We ordered 1x schnitzel with fries and 1x stuffed roast pork with spaetzle. Both the schnitzel and the roast pork were tasteless. The schnitzel (small) consisted of more breading than meat and was visibly a deep fryer schnitzel. The sauce on the roast pork was glassy and tasteless - the price/performance ratio was far from being right. Once and never again.

You can sit beautifully in the beer garden. There is sufficient parking space. The menu is small but nice. The food was lovingly prepared and tasted very good. The side salad is very varied and well prepared.

Our visit here was simply fantastic. We were recently guests here in a group and were pampered on all sides. The beer garden is not only beautifully designed, but also invites you to linger. The interior of the restaurant is equally impressive, with modern and stylish decor that pleases the eye. The service was outstanding and met our every need before we could voice it. A real highlight was undoubtedly the food! Each dish was a true feast for the senses and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to dine here again and discover more culinary masterpieces. Absolute recommendation!

Attention gourmet block - owners beware: Mother's Day is a public holiday in this restaurant. Even though the blocks were on the table, they couldn't be used.

A very nice Bavarian country inn. The food was excellent. The service ladies were very friendly, helpful and competent. I can highly recommend it.

I arrived here on Saturday with my truck. The weather was nice and that's why I sat outside. Ate very well. I was surprised, the food tasted very good and looked very nice too. I actually wanted to come back on Sunday but unfortunately I didn't see that the restaurant was closed early. Thanks and greetings from Holland!

We had a Viennese style schnitzel. For a “Wiener Schnitzel from the topside of the veal" is simply far too thick! The price/performance ratio here is borderline (€25.90). But it's doable with a voucher book or gourmet block. You should perhaps not rely too much on the gourmet block here, as the prices are fundamentally a bit too high For what you get, 0.5 drinks cost around €4.
