Great food, you can't say anything else, I can only recommend the visit, it tastes great there yesterday and no one leaves hungry. Absolutely recommended

After a long tour in the motorhome, we were looking for a good dinner in a nice atmosphere. We found more than what we were looking for in the country inn. Two large and very tasty schnitzels landed on our plates, along with homemade (cheese) spaetzle. Absolutely great! And in combination with extremely friendly, courteous and cheerful service, there is only one thing left to say: Thank you for your hospitality! If we are in the area again, we will come to you again without hesitation!

Everything is just right here. Great portions, if that's what you want, absolutely great value for money. The staff is on the ball and super friendly. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. We're happy to drive a bit for that.

The right address for people who are really hungry and who like a cozy and rustic atmosphere. We were there on Sunday with 5 people and everyone enjoyed it very much. The waitress managed the almost full shop completely single-handedly - and did so very professionally, quickly, attentively and extremely friendly, which we all found very positive. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time, came to the table hot and we all enjoyed it very much. The XXL giant schnitzels are very well made, really big and 2 out of 5 people needed aluminum foil to wrap them up after eating because it was too much for them. Only the dressing on the side salad (which looked really nice) could have used a little more seasoning, but that was my personal impression and is completely subjective. Tip to the host: Simply put some salt, pepper, etc. on the tables, then it won't bother you - you can season it yourself. The prices are really very affordable for the quality and the huge portions. If the journey from Singen wasn't so far, I would certainly visit the restaurant often. I can't say anything about the rooms since we didn't stay there.

Food is always a safe bet, value for money is unbeatable. Come more often and will continue to do so.

And we were positively surprised, the food is great, the staff has the place under control, and the kitchen also did a good job. All dishes, including the xxl dishes, are not overpriced, the burger with a diameter of 30cm costs a little more, but it can easily feed 3 people. Went there spontaneously for dinner yesterday. It was very busy and we still got a table from the very friendly waitress. We were served quickly and very courteously despite it being very busy. As always, the food was excellent, great praise also for the kitchen. Thanks to the boss for allowing us to sit at the regulars' table. Will definitely come back soon.

Great atmosphere and delicious food at good prices

From reserving the table to the end, it was a great evening, with great food (both for us adults and the 3-year-old child). The service was very good, everyone was friendly and accommodating and constantly asked whether everything was OK or whether we needed anything else. Great and nice staff! Eating cheap stuff...including ketchup and mayo. The chicken wings were a disaster in terms of taste. The meat from the knight's skewer was neither juicy nor tasty. The meat was tough and not really edible. We're not coming anymore!

We had fled here from the firecrackers on August 1st in Switzerland. Country inn sounds like peace and relaxation for dogs and family. And that's the way it was. The small town with its Black Forest inn brings back childhood memories. The yard, the rooms, the friendly and personal service. Everything was well maintained, clean, although not up to date. Anyone who appreciates this will happily stay here again and again. Because the kitchen is also good. You can be very hungry, as XXL portions are available upon request. We were thrilled by the beautiful walks to the Bieberdamen on the Wolfsbach. Gladly again.

4 adults and 4 children had dinner with you today. Arrived at 6:30 p.m The ticket was finally available at 6:50 p.m The order was finally taken at 7:20 p.m The food arrived at 8:10 p.m. The waiter was overwhelmed, orders were forgotten or took forever. Counter full of dirty glasses. At some point someone came out of the kitchen and made drinks. You can sometimes forget something, but that was a common theme today! When we arrived the dining room was half empty, half of whom were already eating or paying. Almost all of the following guests had their food quicker. Even our children asked why they had already finished eating and they didn't even have their spaetzle yet. At the beginning the waiter assured us that he was alone and that we had to bring time, ok, but why is everyone else who came after us already eating? Food ok, service was nothing! Won't be coming back, we're simply disappointed!

Hasn't been there for a long time... I can confirm what the other guests say about the smell in the guest room... We had to move because the haze was too much. The waiter gave me the impression (despite the almost empty restaurant) that he was incredibly stressed, unlike his friendly colleague. Unfortunately, a portion of fries and a salad were forgotten, so we shared them. Our orders came to the table with a 10 minute difference.. The food was XXL like sumptuous, which is pretty funny when you get it for the first time...unfortunately the stuffed schnitzel was deep fried (very darkly fried in old fat) and therefore had hardly any taste of its own...also a bit dry. The sauce was powder stirred together. The burger was good ☺️ After our visit to the restaurant we were completely knocked out. despite that we didn't eat because we were hungry. I would like better air and a clean deep fryer in the future, because old fat doesn't sit well in the stomach. In general, you could work a little more lovingly in the kitchen.

Had dinner here today for a birthday. The medium-sized mushroom cream schnitzel with fries was completely sufficient to fill you up. Quality was top and the service staff was also great. What more do you want. My daughter ate fries, my son ate cheeseburgers and my wife ate the onion roast, everyone was very satisfied. Keep it up😀

A surprising discovery in a tiny community southwest of Villingen. A cozy restaurant with a terrace and enough parking spaces. Many dishes revolve around schnitzel, and everything can be ordered in three portion sizes, from small to huge. Attentive and friendly people work in the service, a cozy dining room, clean sanitary facilities, what more could you want.

Food was quite tasty and the service was good. Unfortunately, the whole store smelled of frying fat and was a bit smoky, as if there was no extractor hood. Don't want to smell like grease after a visit to the restaurant...

We had dinner there. I will definitely recommend it! Just because of the XXL dishes. What I and my girlfriend found extremely unfortunate (we had the XXL burgers) was that in our opinion the meat was not fresh, but bought, and extremely dry.

The staff was friendly and the ambience was excellent. It's a shame there are no beef burgers, unfortunately the fries were served cold. I've eaten a better burger for this price.

Die Gerichte waren nicht nur sehr lecker, sondern auch in reichlichen Portionen serviert. Die vielfältige Auswahl bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Personal war nicht nur nett, sondern auch sehr aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre war äußerst angenehm, und insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Besuch.

Leider war der Wurstsalat sehr ungwürzt und hatte einen komischen Beigeschmack, dazu gab es anstatt ein paar Scheiben gutes Brot, nur ungetoastetes Toastbrot aus dem Discounter...Dazu kommt noch, dass jeder von uns, der Wurstsalat hatte, danach erhebliche Probleme mit dem Magen hatte...Der Herr, der uns bediente, war leider auch unfreundlich und hatte meiner Meinung, keine Lust zu arbeiten.

Wir waren schon öfter hier in den letzten Jahren. Anfangs hat es mir besser gefallen. Beim vegetarischen Feta-Burger für fast 20 Euro wird der Feta im Block paniert. Früher wurde sich noch die Mühe gemacht und er wurde zerteilt, paniert und so auf das Burgerbrot gelegt, dass es auch wie ein Burger aussieht. Oder ist das immer noch so und lag nur an der Zeit von 21 Uhr? Aber bei Öffnungszeiten bis 0 Uhr etwas seltsam. Ich hätte mir auch mehr Salat, Tomaten und Gurken darauf gewünscht. Daran wurde wirklich gespart. Die Burgersoße war lecker.

Das Essen war nichts besonderes und 1 Std auf das Essen warten ist auch nicht sonderlich einladen. Aber das bedienpersonal ist wirklich sehr nett.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr an Weihnachten hier her, freuen uns auf grosse Burger, Hot Dogs , Schnitzel etc.. Dieses Jahr eineWeihnachtskarte :( keine Spur von Burgern. Gebau wegen denen kommen wir. Schade... Die Jungs im Service total überlastet das Erlebnis diesmal eher zum nicht wieder herfahren

Eigentlich waren wir bisher immer zufrieden. Aber seit den letzten besuchen hat der Service tatsächlich ein wenig nach gelassen. Mittlerweile wartet man sehr lange bis man die ersten Getränke bekommt. Auf das Essen wartet man ne stunde. Wenn man danach noch etwas vor hat, schwierig. Haben dann gleich nach der Rechnung verlangt damit es uns noch reicht und mussten leider das Essen innerhalb von 10 Minuten schlingen, somit kein genussvolles und entspanntes speisen. Auch vor dem Essen wurden wir nicht bedient, hätte ja sein können die Getränke wären leer gewesen. Ansonsten was das Essen selbst angeht, können wir geschmacklich nicht meckern. Das was wir bisher immer bestellt hatten, war immer lecker. Außer bei den Vorspeisen. Da muss ich als Suppenkasper einfach meckern. 😂 Ich hätte gerne -vor allem im Winter- eine kleine Auswahl an Suppen. Wäre natürlich klasse wenns da auch verschiedene Größen geben würde. 😂 Aber das ist natürlich dem Restaurant selbst überlassen.

Super Essen auch mit mehreren Personen kommt das Essen für alle zeitnah und warm. Ausserdem ist ist das Personal und die Chefin immer freundlich und kompetent. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.
