We had dinner with 10 people. The food was very good, friendly service, very satisfied overall. We come from Mainz and we'll be back next week.

Yes, the food was delicious and the portions were huge, but unfortunately we had to compromise on the service because we were completely overwhelmed that evening and would almost have to go thirsty at the source. Waiting half an hour for the bill and looking at empty plates wasn't really exciting either. There is still room for improvement,

Good food for a very good price.

I can't say anything about the rooms because I only ate there. The food was very tasty. The prices are right and it's always a wow effect when eating XXL. The staff was very friendly and quick as was the food. We were there as a group and everyone enjoyed it. Can only recommend it. PS There is hardly any network in the restaurant but this means you can have a better conversation and not just use your cell phone. Keep it up 👍

I recently went to the restaurant for dinner with my work colleagues. The food is still great value for money. The catering also works smoothly at busy times. Only the location of Landgasthof is remote but can be found using Google Maps. If you want to eat well for good money, go there and see for yourself. I'll be back.

If you come here to eat, you should have room in your stomach. The prices are incredibly fair and the food is extremely tasty. The service was very accommodating, friendly and was able to serve us well. Thank you!

We had our end of the year there in a side room with blues music

I was only in business, so I can't give a rating for "Zimmer". Since the business is run neatly and cleanly, I suspect that the rooms are fine. About food: For (almost) every meal you have the choice of 3 sizes: small, medium and large. "Small" should represent the classic senior plate, "medium" are normal portions and "large" (XXL) requires a very large stomach. I was well fed with “medium”. Taste and quality were okay, no negative criticism of the price/performance ratio. It was a shame that there was a lack of staff and the restaurant (two side rooms with Christmas parties and the main hall with individual guests) was packed. The conditions and the chefs made them sweat and the waiting time was very long. All in all I would say: a well-run economy with simple but good food. The overworked staff remained polite and courteous at all times. Personally, I will definitely want to eat here again.

The food was great as always, we've been here a few times. Were never disappointed. The waiters do their job with passion and are super friendly. I can only recommend the gypsy schnitzel with paprika sauce and spaetzle.

After a long tour in the motorhome, we were looking for a good dinner in a nice atmosphere. We found more than what we were looking for in the country inn. Two large and very tasty schnitzels landed on our plates, along with homemade (cheese) spaetzle. Absolutely great! And in combination with extremely friendly, courteous and cheerful service, there is only one thing left to say: Thank you for your hospitality! If we are in the area again, we will come to you again without hesitation!

The right address for people who are really hungry and who like a cozy and rustic atmosphere. We were there on Sunday with 5 people and everyone enjoyed it very much. The waitress managed the almost full shop completely single-handedly - and did so very professionally, quickly, attentively and extremely friendly, which we all found very positive. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time, came to the table hot and we all enjoyed it very much. The XXL giant schnitzels are very well made, really big and 2 out of 5 people needed aluminum foil to wrap them up after eating because it was too much for them. Only the dressing on the side salad (which looked really nice) could have used a little more seasoning, but that was my personal impression and is completely subjective. Tip to the host: Simply put some salt, pepper, etc. on the tables, then it won't bother you - you can season it yourself. The prices are really very affordable for the quality and the huge portions. If the journey from Singen wasn't so far, I would certainly visit the restaurant often. I can't say anything about the rooms since we didn't stay there.

And we were positively surprised, the food is great, the staff has the place under control, and the kitchen also did a good job. All dishes, including the xxl dishes, are not overpriced, the burger with a diameter of 30cm costs a little more, but it can easily feed 3 people. Went there spontaneously for dinner yesterday. It was very busy and we still got a table from the very friendly waitress. We were served quickly and very courteously despite it being very busy. As always, the food was excellent, great praise also for the kitchen. Thanks to the boss for allowing us to sit at the regulars' table. Will definitely come back soon.

Great atmosphere and delicious food at good prices

From reserving the table to the end, it was a great evening, with great food (both for us adults and the 3-year-old child). The service was very good, everyone was friendly and accommodating and constantly asked whether everything was OK or whether we needed anything else. Great and nice staff! Eating cheap stuff...including ketchup and mayo. The chicken wings were a disaster in terms of taste. The meat from the knight's skewer was neither juicy nor tasty. The meat was tough and not really edible. We're not coming anymore!

We had fled here from the firecrackers on August 1st in Switzerland. Country inn sounds like peace and relaxation for dogs and family. And that's the way it was. The small town with its Black Forest inn brings back childhood memories. The yard, the rooms, the friendly and personal service. Everything was well maintained, clean, although not up to date. Anyone who appreciates this will happily stay here again and again. Because the kitchen is also good. You can be very hungry, as XXL portions are available upon request. We were thrilled by the beautiful walks to the Bieberdamen on the Wolfsbach. Gladly again.

Arrived at 6:30 p.m The ticket was finally available at 6:50 p.m The order was finally taken at 7:20 p.m The food arrived at 8:10 p.m. The waiter was overwhelmed, orders were forgotten or took forever. Counter full of dirty glasses. At some point someone came out of the kitchen and made drinks. You can sometimes forget something, but that was a common theme today! When we arrived the dining room was half empty, half of whom were already eating or paying. Almost all of the following guests had their food quicker. Even our children asked why they had already finished eating and they didn't even have their spaetzle yet. At the beginning the waiter assured us that he was alone and that we had to bring time, ok, but why is everyone else who came after us already eating? Food ok, service was nothing! Won't be coming back, we're simply disappointed!

Hasn't been there for a long time... I can confirm what the other guests say about the smell in the guest room... We had to move because the haze was too much. The waiter gave me the impression (despite the almost empty restaurant) that he was incredibly stressed, unlike his friendly colleague. Unfortunately, a portion of fries and a salad were forgotten, so we shared them. Our orders came to the table with a 10 minute difference.. The food was XXL like sumptuous, which is pretty funny when you get it for the first time...unfortunately the stuffed schnitzel was deep fried (very darkly fried in old fat) and therefore had hardly any taste of its own...also a bit dry. The sauce was powder stirred together. The burger was good ☺️ After our visit to the restaurant we were completely knocked out. despite that we didn't eat because we were hungry. I would like better air and a clean deep fryer in the future, because old fat doesn't sit well in the stomach. In general, you could work a little more lovingly in the kitchen.

Had dinner here today for a birthday. The medium-sized mushroom cream schnitzel with fries was completely sufficient to fill you up. Quality was top and the service staff was also great. A surprising discovery in a tiny community southwest of Villingen. A cozy restaurant with a terrace and enough parking spaces. Many dishes revolve around schnitzel, and everything can be ordered in three portion sizes, from small to huge. Attentive and friendly people work in the service, a cozy dining room, clean sanitary facilities, what more could you want.

Food was quite tasty and the service was good. Unfortunately, the whole store smelled of frying fat and was a bit smoky, as if there was no extractor hood. Don't want to smell like grease after a visit to the restaurant...
