We were passing through and Hessenbrückenhammer was suggested in our search in the area. The restaurant itself is rather spartan and simply designed, and the tables are very close together. But this is purely a matter of taste. What was unfortunately not nice was that after about a quarter of an hour, a server finally came, and on top of that, they seemed very annoyed. The fairly simple order of a Coke and a Radler took just as long. The food was good, home-style, delicious, and lovingly presented; there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, clearing away and the request for another drink probably went beyond the call of duty. The waiting time and the service, as well as the attitude of the waiters, are catastrophic, and there is an urgent need for action. It's a shame that something like this takes the quality of the food into the background.

Perfect place for home cooking! The ambience is also suitable, I always like to come back! Above all, it's not as expensively priced as most other restaurants here. Here you don't pay €20+ for a cream schnitzel in the village.

Everything was great here. Very fast, friendly service who sometimes takes a moment to chat. The food came, quickly but not too quickly. Everything was cooked to perfection! I had the pork chop with fried potatoes! And I think this is how a schnitzel MUST be cooked and taste good. It was an absolute pleasure! I was allowed to try some of my wife's delicious soup. It was also delicious and so hot! We were very satisfied. Absolutely affordable for the quality. Gladly again.

Gut bürgerliche deutsche Küche. Das Ambiente ist recht einfach, das Essen lecker und der Preis wirklich gut. Parkplätze im Hof ausreichend vorhanden.

Gutbürgerlichen Küche, viel Portion für angemessenes Geld, unschlagbar liebenswerter Chef! Seit Jahren für mich die absolute Nummer Eins!

Im Biergarten gesessen und ein leckeres Jägerschnitzel genossen, bzw mein Partner einen Hackbraten. Guter Service, leckere gut bürgerliche Küche, selbst in der Coronazeit mußte man darauf nicht verzichten und konnte sich das Essen abholen.

Ein sehr gut geführter Gasthof mit rustikalem Ambiente. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen wieder.

Gute möglichkeit zur Übernachtung . Schöner kleiner Biergarten. Freundlicher Wirt und Personal. Gutes Essen und Bier. Würden nochmal kommen.
