Landgasthof Birkel in Herrieden

Wir waren mit über 20 Personen zu einer Familienfeier. Es wurde aus der umfangreichen Karte bestellt. Vom fränk.Schäuferle mit 2 Knödel, Sauerbraten mit 2 Knödel, Kohlroulade (wie von Mutti), Spargel Hollandaise mit Schnitzel, Salat Teller usw war alles ausreichend und sehr lecker. Schön präsentiert und heiß von freundlichem Personal serviert. Der Service war stets aufmerksam. Nachttisch und Kaffee gibt es auch. Kuchen für größere Gruppen muss vorbestellt werden. Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis passt. Einen sauberen Wirtsgarten gibt es ebenfalls. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und modern. Für Familienfeiern gibt es verschiedene Räumlichkeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Solides, gutes Hotel noch mit vernünftigen Preisen, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Die Zimmer sind nicht sicher genug. Es wurde sich trotzdem an mir vergriffen.

Liebe Alle, wenn ich Euch ein Restaurant ganz besonders ans Herz legen darf, dann den Gasthof Birkel in Lammelbach. Zum einen erwartet Euch dort wirklich hervorragendes Essen – das beste Steak, das wir je gegessen haben! Und natürlich dürfen die Desserts nicht unerwähnt bleiben: schlichtweg die besten, die wir jemals genießen durften. Ein sehr nettes Gasthaus mit leckerem fränkischen Essen.

Ein überzeugendes Gesamtpaket. Ruhige Lage, genügend Parkplätze direkt am Haus, gute Anbindung, sehr gutes Essen bei einem attraktiven Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aufmerksame Mitarbeiter und eine breite Auswahl bei Speisen und Getränken. Saubere Zimmer und Bäder und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Hier war ich nicht zum letzten Mal.

Das Essen auf unserer Weihnachtsfeier war nicht zu übertreffen. Alles war perfekt zubereitet und sehr sehr lecker. Die Mini Schäuferle waren ein echter Traum.

Simply wonderful! Beautiful, cozy, and clean rooms. We were even allowed to bring our dog. The menu was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. All the staff were incredibly friendly.

We went to the Birkel country inn with our family for lunch on Sunday. We knew the inn and had always appreciated its delicious food. Unfortunately, this time we were so disappointed with the service that it was our last visit. There were nine of us (including a child). The family with the child arrived a few minutes later. When we ordered our main course together, we also ordered dessert, which the server gladly accepted. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food. After everyone had finished their main course, we were surprised that dessert hadn't arrived. When we asked about it, the server explained that we had already exceeded our reserved time (from 11:30 am to 1 pm) and therefore hadn't passed on the initial dessert order to the kitchen. Surprised that we were so abruptly asked to leave, we pointed out that the food had taken quite a while. The server simply retorted that we hadn't all been on time. ... I find it very disappointing that the server simply cancelled our order without authorization. She could have informed us that there might be a time constraint when we placed the order. Alternatively, she could have informed us 15 minutes before the reservation ended that the dessert would need to be brought out immediately.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with friendly staff, but the breakfast was extremely poor. It was particularly surprising that they offered a disgusting coffee drink instead of proper coffee.

I can't say anything about the rooms. But I've been eating there for 15 years, even for celebrations. The food at Peter (Birkel) is always top-notch! You won't find better Schäuferle (pork with dumplings) anywhere! The Birkel is highly recommended! If it were given 6 stars, Peter Birkel and his lovely wife would deserve it!

Stopped for one night...we had a problem with our motorbike, the staff was very helpful...they have a garage for bikes but they can also accommodate motorbikes. Good food, including vegetarian dishes, and prosecco 🤪

We ate at the Landgasthof Birkel this evening and unfortunately have to report a real disappointment. We were looking forward to roast beef with onions and loin, but what we were served was, quite frankly, a disaster. The roast beef with onions was so thin and overcooked that it lacked any juiciness. It was served with dry, ready-made spaetzle and a completely tasteless sauce. But the loin was the absolute highlight: overcooked and served with a mushroom cream sauce that neither tasted of nor contained any mushrooms. We really tried to make the best of it, but it was barely edible. When we raised the issue, we were unfortunately only offered an espresso or dessert, even though the loin remained almost untouched. Charging full price for this is, in our opinion, absolutely no customer service. The waitress was very nice, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. One thing is for sure: This was our last visit there. Save yourself the money and the disappointment!

We stayed in guest room number 11 for one night on a bike tour. It was almost undesigned, unadorned, and we just didn't feel comfortable. 3 stars because the food was very good and the boss and the whole team were very customer-oriented and professional. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we immediately noticed the stylish ambience - tastefully furnished, inviting and designed with attention to detail. The welcome was warm, you immediately felt welcome. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly host, who created a pleasant atmosphere with his attentive and authentic manner. The menu is attractively put together - varied without being overwhelming, and offers something to suit every taste. Our order was taken quickly and the food was prepared very quickly. The food was not only excellently prepared in terms of taste, but also served in a very visually appealing way - a real culinary delight. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here: quality and service are in a fair relationship. Also worth mentioning is the very clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities - a detail that further underlines the positive overall impression for us. All in all, it was a very successful visit that was enjoyable from start to finish. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. A clear recommendation for everyone who values ​​good food, friendly service and a nice ambience. Thank you very much for the hospitable hospitality!

Unfortunately, the service didn't take into account that the cheese spaetzle was too dry and almost without cheese. 13 euros for a few noodles and fried onions is quite steep. The rest of the food was ok. Probably had a bad day.

First of all: I can't comment on the rooms, as we were "only" there for dinner. Now, on to the service and food: The service is very prompt and very well organized. Ordering drinks and food went smoothly and quickly. The kitchen is also very well organized. The meal for the youngest (just 5 months old) came first. Then came the ordered appetizers. After these were cleared, all the main courses were served with a short break (at least there were 8 of us adults). The restaurant was otherwise very busy. The waiters also repeatedly asked if we needed anything else, like another drink, or if everything was okay. Very attentive!!! After the meal, the table was cleared quickly. We were also well looked after the rest of the time we remained seated. The food was very good, and everyone enjoyed it immensely! At this point, a big compliment to the kitchen! We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Sad visit We were there with 8 people and were really looking forward to the evening. But unfortunately the conditions were anything but nice and polite. It's more likely to be rude and harsh. When my daughter (pregnant) asked if we could please remove the cat that was running on tables and benches while we were already eating. Came a harsh answer here. What can't be surpassed in terms of audacity. Our daughter wanted to celebrate her baptism there. That was settled with yesterday's visit there.

I've eaten here several times (Christmas parties and privately), and the food is a pleasure every time. Tastes very good. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating, today we were asked several times whether we needed anything else and whether everything was okay. Portions are reasonably large. If we get the chance, we'll come back.

All I can say is that our visit to this restaurant was an absolute disaster! The waitress was rude and loud when it came to settling our bill. We were there with 15 people and thought we could take it easy, but that was a big mistake. Instead we were literally insulted by the waitress! We should pay quickly and all on one invoice - as if we didn't have the ability to understand that groups might also want separate invoices. It was as if they had to do us a favor by eating and drinking there! Anyone who treats their guests like this has completely lost their sense of customer service. Loud announcements and no trace of politeness, just terrible! I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​decent service. It's a shame about the wonderful time we wanted to spend there at Christmas!

Super tasty food and very nice service

Unfortunately I was there for dinner today. Because of problems with the voucher, they became aggressive and loud towards us. We were embarrassed to have been treated like that. We asked for the bill several times and the employee continued to be loud and aggressive towards us. There is also no excuse if the inn is full. Please remain calm and objective with the customer. We just wanted to get out and then said, give it a bad review. We were then told bluntly: then just do it. It's a real shame, going out to eat should actually be a pleasure and not such a bad experience.

There is no option to pay separately for multiple guests. So 5 parties would have to pay as 2 bills.

The ambience was good. The food tasted delicious and for the price it was a decent portion.

I would like to express my disappointment at our stay at your inn on Christmas Day. Our large family group, consisting of about 15 people, was looking for a pleasant place to celebrate Christmas together. Unfortunately, this Christmas dinner was overshadowed by your unkind and shameful behavior. To our great astonishment, we were loudly asked not to split the bill, but to pay it in full and to leave the inn, which is simply unacceptable for a family celebration on such a special day. Such treatment is not only rude, but also shows a lack of professionalism and customer focus. I am sorry to say that our visit to your inn under these circumstances was very disappointing. I hope that in the future you can pay more attention to how you treat your guests and avoid such incidents.

We stayed at this hotel on our motorbike trip. We received a very friendly welcome and all of our wishes were fulfilled. Arrival beer, garage space for the motorbikes, dinner and watching football in the evening. The conversation with the landlord was very nice and friendly. The dinner was simply delicious and freshly prepared. The breakfast was rich and left nothing to be desired. If I'm in the area again, I would stay there again.

If you are looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay in Redion, you will find it here! A great accommodation with bright, clean and well-equipped rooms. The beer garden and dining room are also very inviting and the regional food and drinks are excellent. The friendly and attentive staff were happy to accommodate our off-the-menu meal requests.

We had dinner in the restaurant. We got a table for 10 people very spontaneously with a phone call in advance. It was super tasty and the service is particularly noteworthy. Really great. But the very best thing was how flexible and easy it was to make a dish gluten-free. There is a good knowledge of celiac disease there. So it was no problem to simply get a gluten-free schnitzel and the fries were simply made spontaneously in the oven. And it was all really so delicious. We would love to come back!!!!!
