First: I can't give any information about the rooms because we were "only" there to eat. Now for the service and food: The service is very quick and very well organized. Ordering drinks and food went smoothly and quickly. The kitchen is also very well organized. The food for the smallest (just 5 months old) came first. Then the ordered starters. After these were cleared away. All main courses were served with a short break (at least there were 8 of us adults). The restaurant was also very well attended. The service also kept asking us whether we needed anything else, such as another drink or whether everything was OK. Very attentive!!! After the meal it was quickly cleared away. We were well looked after the rest of the time we stayed seated. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed it very much! At this point a big PRAISE to the kitchen!!!! We will definitely come back. Definitely keep it up!!!

Sad visit We were there with 8 people and were really looking forward to the evening. But unfortunately the conditions were anything but nice and polite. It's more likely to be rude and harsh. When my daughter (pregnant) asked if we could please remove the cat that was running on tables and benches while we were already eating. Came a harsh answer here. What can't be surpassed in terms of audacity. Our daughter wanted to celebrate her baptism there. That was settled with yesterday's visit there.

I've eaten here several times (Christmas parties and privately), and the food is a pleasure every time. Tastes very good. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating, today we were asked several times whether we needed anything else and whether everything was okay. Portions are reasonably large. If we get the chance, we'll come back.

All I can say is that our visit to this restaurant was an absolute disaster! The waitress was rude and loud when it came to settling our bill. We were there with 15 people and thought we could take it easy, but that was a big mistake. Instead we were literally insulted by the waitress! We should pay quickly and all on one invoice - as if we didn't have the ability to understand that groups might also want separate invoices. It was as if they had to do us a favor by eating and drinking there! Anyone who treats their guests like this has completely lost their sense of customer service. Loud announcements and no trace of politeness, just terrible! I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​decent service. It's a shame about the wonderful time we wanted to spend there at Christmas!

Super tasty food and very nice service

Unfortunately I was there for dinner today. Because of problems with the voucher, they became aggressive and loud towards us. We were embarrassed to have been treated like that. We asked for the bill several times and the employee continued to be loud and aggressive towards us. There is also no excuse if the inn is full. Please remain calm and objective with the customer. We just wanted to get out and then said, give it a bad review. We were then told bluntly: then just do it. It's a real shame, going out to eat should actually be a pleasure and not such a bad experience.

There is no option to pay separately for multiple guests. So 5 parties would have to pay as 2 bills.

I would like to express my disappointment at our stay at your inn on Christmas Day. Our large family group, consisting of about 15 people, was looking for a pleasant place to celebrate Christmas together. Unfortunately, this Christmas dinner was overshadowed by your unkind and shameful behavior. To our great astonishment, we were loudly asked not to split the bill, but to pay it in full and to leave the inn, which is simply unacceptable for a family celebration on such a special day. Such treatment is not only rude, but also shows a lack of professionalism and customer focus. I am sorry to say that our visit to your inn under these circumstances was very disappointing. I hope that in the future you can pay more attention to how you treat your guests and avoid such incidents.

The ambience was good. The food tasted delicious and for the price it was a decent portion.

We were here for lunch today and we were all absolutely thrilled. From the warm service to the great Franconian cuisine. We had the Schäuffele and the goulash. Both excellent. We felt very comfortable all around.

We stayed at this hotel on our motorbike trip. We received a very friendly welcome and all of our wishes were fulfilled. Arrival beer, garage space for the motorbikes, dinner and watching football in the evening. The conversation with the landlord was very nice and friendly. The dinner was simply delicious and freshly prepared. The breakfast was rich and left nothing to be desired. If I'm in the area again, I would stay there again.

If you are looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay in Redion, you will find it here! A great accommodation with bright, clean and well-equipped rooms. The beer garden and dining room are also very inviting and the regional food and drinks are excellent. The friendly and attentive staff were happy to accommodate our off-the-menu meal requests.

A highly recommended country inn, cozy, clean rooms, excellent food, friendly staff. The bikes are neatly stored with enough sockets to charge the e-bikes. Good starting point for bike tours. We'll definitely be back.

We traveled with 4 people on an e-bike tour through the beautiful Altmühltal. A warm, friendly welcome at the door, with instructions for the bikes with great charging options was impressive. We had dinner in the restaurant. We got a table for 10 people very spontaneously with a phone call in advance. It was super tasty and the service is particularly noteworthy. Really great. But the very best thing was how flexible and easy it was to make a dish gluten-free. There is a good knowledge of celiac disease there. So it was no problem to simply get a gluten-free schnitzel and the fries were simply made spontaneously in the oven. And it was all really so delicious. We would love to come back!!!!!

The service was very polite despite it being a busy public holiday. The food was delectable and well worth the money! A small playground just outside of the premises kept my 3-year-old nephew happy as well.

We had lunch in the restaurant on a Sunday. They offer typical Franconian, home-style cuisine in generous portions at moderate prices. We enjoyed it very much and also praise the friendly staff. I am happy to recommend the house.

A really bike-friendly inn. The reservation for my cycling group of twelve people was professionally organized and we got a large table in the beer garden. The service worked like clockwork and we ate very well. I particularly liked the selection of vegetarian dishes. We would love to come back here again.

We are guests in another hotel. We had a spontaneous meal with friends at the Landgasthof Birkel on Saturday and were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff as well as the excellent food. It was an absolute treat, with different dishes for each of us. Today we had “longing” again and had a very tasty meal again and although it was very well attended today, the atmosphere, the warmth and quality were simply great. As a trained restaurant expert, I can only say, Chapeau! We can fully recommend the restaurant and thank the entire team for the lovely stay. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and given water straight away. Unfortunately, tomorrow we're going back home to the Rhineland. All the best to the house and all employees!

Ich war für eine Weihnachtsfeier mit meiner Firma da. Rundum Top und obwohl volles Haus, fehlte es an nichts. Essen war richtig gut und ich werde sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Essen ist lecker. Preis Leistung ist aber nicht ganz ausgewogen. Der Ablauf ist etwas Kaotisch. Wenn ich reserviere, gehe ich davon aus, daß ein Tisch reserviert ist, und nicht erst wenn der Gast da ist, 10 min überlegt wird, wo und welcher Tisch man bekommt.

Schöne ruhige Zimmer und tolles Frühstück.

Haben im Restaurant sehr lecker gegessen. Der Salat beim Hauptgericht war super lecker und sehr groß. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich. Der Preis war auch gut.

Wir haben für die Hochzeit dort unser Essen bestellt und wir waren rundum zufrieden - besser hätte es nicht laufen können! Der Kontakt war stets nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit, was Essenszusammenstellung und die Mengen angeht. Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, nicht nur bei der Essensausgabe. Alles ist professionell durchdacht und z.B.das Aufbauen geschieht ganz nebenbei - auch der Kontakt oder die Geschirrrückgabe unkompliziert. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung und wir kommen natürlich wieder zum Essen :)

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und kommen immer wieder gern vorbei unser Essen Schäufele, und der Rahm Kalbsbraten waren hervorragend, weil wir sehr spät ankamen haben wir unser Essen von der Autobahn bestellen können. Wir haben gut geschlafen und nach einem reichhaltigen Frühstück gestärkt weiter fahren können. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich war mit einer 12-köpfigen Gruppe von Arbeitskollegen zwecks Fortbildung vor Ort. Abendessen der Hammer... gutbürgerliche fränkische Küche, Schäuferla, Bratwurschd, Schweinebraten. Alles perfekt! Service sehr aufmerksam, äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend! Die Lage des Gasthofes ist genial zum Runterfahren und Entspannen. Zimmer sind absolut sauber und ausreichend für einen Kurzurlaub ausgestattet. Gerne wieder.
