Unfortunately, since the takeover, i.e. the change of ownership, things are no longer the same. Yes, the map finally got an update, but unfortunately that was it. Some of the tapas were oversalted, others were poorly seasoned - it somehow lacked a special flavor that the old cuisine had, I can't describe exactly what it is. It's also strange not seeing the familiar faces there anymore. Only go there if other relatives specifically want to go there.

The restaurant is very cozy and clean. Given that it was full, we were well served, but unfortunately I have to complain about the dishes, if you pay such prices for tapas, you shouldn't be served anything frozen, the potatoes are half cooked, the flan is too firm and made from pudding, the fish was cold, too dry, the mini steak wasn't tender. I know it's not easy to satisfy all the guests, but I think it's far too expensive for the lack of quality. Sorry, there could be a better way, right?

Beautiful, cozy atmosphere. You can tell that it was furnished with a lot of love. Very nice, attentive service staff and super delicious food. The only thing I wish were wine glasses instead of mugs 🙆🏽‍♀️

Very nice and atmospheric location. The bear rages here on Sunday evening. It takes some patience. But that doesn't matter at all. The food is burner and the staff is super friendly. We'd love to come back.

Tolles Essen, prima Service. Wir haben uns lange nicht mehr sooo...wohlgefühlt! Für einige war es ein Essensabenteuer und es waren alle begeistert ( von klein bis groß). Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren mit unseren Freunden aus HB im Landau und im Vergleich zum "echten" früheren Landau sehr enttäuscht. Der Salat schmeckte z.B. nach nichts, die Sauce schmeckte wie eine Fertigsauce. Das Einzige was schmeckte, war der Hähnchenspieß. Die Bedienung war nett. Schade, dass es das alte Landau nicht mehr gibt: Das war Einzigartig !

Wir waren zu viert, hatten einen schönen Platz und sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Die gemischten Tapas, die Fischplatten, und der Fisch-Meeresfrüchte Eintopf waren super. Ebenso das frische Brot und die verschiedenen Aiolis! Ein wenig enttäuschend war der mediterrane Salat, der größtenteils aus gefülltem Convenience Gemüse bestand. Alle sind satt geworden, es war echt lecker und wir hatten einen schönen Sonntag Abend in netter Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Restaurant ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die sanitären Anlagen sind modern und sehr sauber. Das Servicepersonal ist durchweg zuvorkommend und mega freundlich. Das Essen von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert war durchweg klasse und seinen Preis mehr als Wert. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch, vielen Dank für den tollen Abend!!!! Thomas

Waren mit 12 Leuten reserviert, dann doch nur 10.... vollkommen nettes Personal und ein toller Chef.... Nun höre ich bad news.... und hoffte, daß der Bhf Langendreer das neue domicil wird.... ein franchise o.ä. werden wir def. NICHT besuchen.... die Vermieter haben anscheinend Lack gesoffen!!!

Unfortunately we didn't have a weekly menu, so over the years it was a bit monotonous meal. I hope this will improve in the future. The staff was always very nice, luckily some of them stayed. I'm already looking forward to the reopening and hope that the pub character will be improved a bit in the future.

Went there again last night, unfortunately for the last time. Had a great evening with fantastic food and good drinks. Thanks again to the staff who, despite the impending closure, have once again done everything for the well-being of the guests. We wish you all the best on your new paths and challenges that the situation now brings for you. Thank you for the long, great years that you were there for us in Landau, serving us and always giving us good advice, and despite the hectic pace you still had time for some personal small talk. ❤️😢

...hmm, no it wasn't our restaurant. Everything is very rustic and simple. Actually an old pub with a room where you can eat. As a result, the basic level was very loud so that you could hardly have a normal conversation at the table. Food selection towards Iberian tappas dishes. Just keep going that way!! Everything somehow not thought through. My so-called Portuguese national dish, meat skewer, fried to death. Some of the potatoes are still raw and there is coleslaw as a side salad taste straight out of the pack. At least the service was friendly.

Wir haben wieder lecker gegessen in einer entspannten und angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von 16 Leuten alle zeitgleich das Essen bekommen. Toller Service!! Schade, dass die schließen! Es war immer wieder schön, so hervorragend zu essen.

The food was very tasty. There were four of us. Two of us had the barbecue skewer. Both complained that they were very cold because they were hanging on a kind of gallows. They would certainly have been better served on a preheated plate. Therefore only 4 stars for the food. But they were otherwise fine. The chicken pot in tomato sauce was very tasty and seasoned with lots of thyme. And the fish dish was also well received. Since it was quite busy that evening and everything was obviously freshly cooked, it took a while to get the food on the table, but it was worth the wait. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Good idea to have pre-booked the table for 6 p.m. Tapas are enough. But just main courses are good too. Dessert of the day menu was something special. Vinho Verde on tap!?! But the menu remains an empty promise.

Fantastic food. I had salad with fruit and goat cheese and wonderful tomato tapas that tasted as fantastic as they smelled. Very good value for money!

Food of Portuguese and Spanish inspiration, being Spanish we opted to try Portuguese dishes, we were surprised by the place, because it was cozy, pleasant, good atmosphere, and good food, we liked the cataplana so much (in this case with fish, hake, squid. ..) as well as the kebab of chicken/chorizo ​​and a lot of vegetables (accompanied by a side of potatoes with aioli, not intense and very good and not repeated). The only drawback we discovered when paying was that you couldn't use a credit card, only due...luckily there is a bank right next door with an ATM to be able to withdraw cash. But that doesn't cloud the pleasant experience of dining there. We enjoyed it very much, a place to return to. If I mention that compared to other places it is true that the drink seemed a bit overpriced, a large beer 5.10 eur. and glass of white wine 6.20 eur.

Great food in a suitable ambience, looked after by attentive, always cheerful service people. Recommendation: try everything. And pack enough tips!

Everything was good, great garden and friendly, family service... Food and drink and price good, maybe a little too oily (calories...) and pepperoni a little too mild, overall a little more spice couldn't be a problem because you want the taste of the Mediterranean 😉

Large selection of Mediterranean specialties, good wines and liqueurs. Also suitable for vegetarians. The price/performance ratio is quite good, the dishes seem very expensive, but are also of high quality. Nevertheless, you should eat there if you are moderately hungry and have a relatively large amount of money. The setting and furniture are visually appealing and old-fashioned. Even from the outside, the restaurant has a certain rustic, country inn-like style. I would be happy to recommend the Landau!

Very good food, Perfect service I lived here many years ago and was a regular. Still good after all these years.

I have rarely eaten so well in a restaurant. Everything was perfect here, whether it was the delicious bread (like it was freshly baked), the aioli, the seafood or the patatas. It was truly a knee-jerk delight. The staff was friendly and accommodating (perhaps a bit too intrusive in asking about drinks and whether everything was OK - but they're happy to accept that since it's about food). The only point of criticism is the enormous volume - it's exhausting when you want to talk to your table companions. We were there on a Friday evening at 6 p.m. and within an hour the place was filled to the last table - and there are a lot of them. The noise is simply unavoidable. This restaurant is second to none and we are already looking forward to our next visit to treat ourselves to a high quality and delicious meal with good friends.

Very tasty tapas and friendly waitresses to chat with! Regular guests for 4 years and always a highlight. Particularly noteworthy are the fish dishes, apricots with sheep's cheese and the plums wrapped in bacon, a change from typical dates!

In Langendreer it is definitely the restaurant that I recommend for family visits from out of town. Bochum culinary at its best!

The starter and dessert were to my liking, but I'll order something different for the main course next time I visit. But that's just a matter of taste. Nice service and nice ambience. Tip: reserve a table.

We were there at 6 p.m. on a Tuesday and the place filled up quickly. It became too loud for me as the stay progressed, but it was okay for my wife. The service was very friendly and good. The white wine was passable and the red wine was good. However, the fish portions were very small (e.g. compared to “Buenas Tapas” in Herne). Since you go there to eat, only 3 stars. Parking is difficult. Tip: If you have the restaurant on your right, take the next alley on the left; After about 20 m there is a “parking lot” on the right, which, however, is not for lowered cars and high heels. The puddle depth is almost suitable for snorkeling 😉 Oh yes: The dessert “Death by Chocolate” is delicious… deadly, probably only in unusual quantities

Hey Just always good. :) Very tasty and has been for years. Fish tastes amazing and everything else is delicious too. I can only recommend it. I always enjoy going there. The best are the apricots with the cheese and the plums with the bacon, the salad is delicious with fresh carrot salad and coleslaw. Also, the fried sardines are a must.

I have eaten here several times. We were always satisfied. The menu isn't overloaded and everything we've tried so far has tasted fabulous. The employees are friendly and attentive.

I personally didn't like it - the sea salt potatoes as a side dish were small jacket potatoes with sea salt sprinkled over them and I also had germs on the potatoes - which doesn't look tasty. The Portuguese pan was semi, maybe just O.K. - the meat (chicken) was very tough. The service was nice but stressed. I found the drinks too expensive. I, for myself, wouldn't go there again.

Visited the Landau again for 4 or 5 years today. Good thing we had reservations. Due to the time of year, it was of course very well attended due to company Christmas parties or family events. The food was, like back then, super tasty. The price level is local. Audience OK, service was great. Attentive, quick, unobtrusive and friendly. It won't be long until the next visit!!!!
