Very tasty food, friendly staff and great value for money!

A great little family business with very tasty food. We've been here many times and it's always delicious. We are always warmly welcomed and served. The prices are unbeatable for Munich. The drinks are also very reasonably priced. The starters taste very good. The Pho Bo soup was simply fantastic – rich, delicious clear broth, tender meat and perfectly cooked rice noodles. Fresh herbs rounded off the taste experience perfectly. One of the best Pho Bo I've ever eaten - highly recommended! The duck dish is also 1a. Thumbs up!

I ordered duck, and the vegetables and sauce were good. Unfortunately, the duck was a complete disappointment. The fat content was much higher than the meat content. I realize I'm not getting a duck fillet for a 10-euro meal. But I didn't want skin with fat instead of meat either.

We wanted a quick and uncomplicated meal, and we were absolutely delighted. The quality, the taste… it was an absolute delight, and we'd go back anytime!

What can I say about Lan Anh? I've been there more than 100 times. It's saved us several times when we didn't have anything at home or didn't want to shop and cook. The price/performance ratio is excellent. You're guaranteed to be full. The food is ready for pickup quickly. The coconut milk soup is a real hit. I can't get enough of it... :-)

Given these stellar reviews, I visited with high expectations, hoping to discover a hidden pearl among Munich's Thai dining options. However, my experience was rather disappointing. Firstly, it's important to note that Lan Anh is not one of the fancy Asian restaurants in the city, and that's reflected in its ambiance and prices. On the positive side, the food here is quite affordable, and the owners are genuinely nice and friendly, which added a welcoming touch to the visit. However, the critical aspect – the food – fell short. I found the dishes to lack authenticity. Both the curry and the sate sauce tasted like ordinary sauces you could easily buy from a supermarket. This was a letdown, especially considering the high ratings. Based on my visit, I would give Lan Anh 2 out of 5 stars. While the cost and the hospitality are commendable, the food needs significant improvement to match the glowing reviews it has received.

Tasty, fast, friendly, cheap. A curry with tofu + vegetables + rice for less than 8 euros, small drinks 1.50 euros - you can't find it anywhere else. Diverse and crunchy vegetables, curry pleasantly slightly spicy, tofu fried deliciously. Authentically Asian.

Sehr sympathischer Familienbetrieb, anständiges Essen, super Suppe als Hauptgericht - die kann ich nur empfehlen! Alles frisch zubereitet.

Paradebeispiel dafür, dass man nicht unbedingt versuchen muss, das Rad neu zu erfinden. Man muss auch nicht der hipste Vietnamese der Stadt sein. Manchmal reicht es, wenn man einfach nur gutes Essen in großzügigen Portionen zu fairen Preisen anbietet. Ganz klare Empfehlung für Leute, die simple und gute Küche mögen. Preis-Leistung ist hier top!

If you want endo-Asian food in Munich, Lan Anh Restaurant is most certainly the place to go. The food, imbued with tradition, is on par with some other higher-end restaurants. And considering the price, Lan Anh is definitely a must go for lower budget individuals. In terms of food, the ‘curry’ was solid. Yes, the meat was lacking in terms of quantity but as a dish, I would rate it a 7/10 (the sauce was very flavourful).

Authentisches asiatisches Restaurant mit Schwerpunkt Vietnam und japanisches Sushi/Sashimi. Die Qualität ist frisch und gut. Wie bei so vielen Sushi Restaurants überwiegt aber zu viel Reis im Sushi und die Reisqualität ist ok, aber kein japanischer Reis. Erlebe ich leider aber auch sehr selten. Handwerklich solide gemacht. Viel Masse, da viel auch außer Haus bestellt wird. Dafür aber ordentlich und sauber zubereitet. Der Fisch ist nicht beste Qualität, aber die meisten werden den Unterschied nicht schmecken, da ihnen der Vergleich fehlt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr bemüht. Die Dame für die Cocktails macht ihren Job sehr gewissenhaft und professionell. Ich habe an der Theke sitzend ihre Arbeit verfolgen können. Scheinbar auch ein Familienbetrieb. Einige sehr Junge Mitarbeiter/innen werden „“angelernt“, was für fortlaufende Tradition spricht. Preislich etwas gehoben, aber ok. Ambiente sehr hübsch.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Für diese Preise einfach unschlagbar. Haben für 50€ für 3 Personen Essen für 2 Tage gekauft. Suppe, Wan-Tan, gebratene Ente, Eiernudeln etc.. Die gebackene Banane mit Kokos und Honig ist eine Geschmacksexplosion! Die Inhaber sind immer sehr freundlich und haben uns sogar eine Flasche Wein geschenkt. Lange warten muss man auch nie. Wir kommen seit Jahren wieder und werden den Laden immer gern weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank

LAN AHN ist bitte dringend in der Krise und auch generell zu unterstützen. Ein kleiner feiner Familienbetrieb mit asiatischem Charme. Essen kann immer frischen koriander und andere Gewürzen bestellt werden! Komme wieder

Heißgeliebt und definitiv Benchmark in dem Preissegment. Essen wird frisch und originell zubereitet, Empfang ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend und preislich auch unschlagbar.

Essen ist gut, preisgünstig und angemessene Portionen. Ein Familienbetrieb aus Vietnam, die machen auch Sonderwünsche. Ein gemütlicher Platz mit ganz normaler Einrichtung, für ganz normale Leute. Krawatten-Heinis bzw. Prinzen -und Prinzessinnen findet man hier nicht. Hier kann man auch Eis kaufen, Süßigkeiten, Schnaps, Bier und viele Softgetränke zu später Zeit. Parken empfehle ich in der Clemensstraße. China-Restaurants besuche ich nichtmehr, bevorzuge Vietnam -und Thai !

Einfach der beste Asia-Imbiss hier in München. Schnell und frisch zubereitet und immer wieder top Qualität. Besonders die Wantan sind der absolute kracher!
