We were a group of 14 people and ate here and sat for a long time afterwards. The staff is really very friendly and funny. The food was delicious and the beer garden is really nice. Highly recommend the location!

Friendly and quick service, delicious food at reasonable prices in relation to the location, nice ambience under chestnut trees with a view of the harbor. Then why only 4 stars: 1 out of 4 meals was forgotten and it arrived significantly late without any apology. This somewhat spoils the otherwise good impression.

Very fast and friendly service. Of course the price is overpriced as the location is exploited here. It's cheaper in the country 😉 so we only had something to drink. The melon punch was absolutely loveless and didn't taste good at all.

We sat at table 41 and the young blonde waitress was very nice and friendly. She was very hardworking and brought our order very quickly and the quality of the food was very good for us. Beautiful beer garden on the promenade, classic with chestnut trees. Attentive waiters, fast service... Sausage salad was a dream, should have used the tarte flambée instead of the currywurst... Unfortunately, the currywurst wasn't even lukewarm... Unfortunately, shandy was also a bit lukewarm and didn't really taste like shandy... I got it I didn't drink it any further... All in all, it's a beer garden that you can visit... Maybe don't order currywurst and shandy...

Nice mix of cultures, Thai restaurant, ditto staff, with a nod to the Biergarten, German influence. Located almost on the Rhine. Tasty food at reasonable price. Or just to have a drink with friends.

Food came after 5 minutes. Tarte flambée was just lying on the board without any paper. Taste was ok.

Very nice biergarten right next to the water. Even during the euro cup match with tons of people, service was fast and friendly. Kasepatzle was maybe a tad too salty, but all in all tasty food, nice mushroom sauce with the meat as well.

So “most beautiful beer garden” is really an exaggeration. The service was efficient but impersonal, you weren't even allowed to push two tables together, the food was ok.

Cozy restaurant and fantastic view of the Boulevard. Further on, the Zeppelin museum is within walking distance.

Biggest impudence I have ever experienced! Were there for a bachelor party, came especially from Switzerland and then found ourselves in front of the closed doors. We had already made a reservation in Apil (!) & had it confirmed in writing and then it was simply closed. No information to us, apparently no interest in guests. Thanks to the very nice employees in the restaurant next door, we were able to reach the owner, but he wasn't particularly interested on the phone. Huge mess!

My email request was not answered and at the public viewing the waiter refused to take a food order because unfortunately we were only given a bar table. That was my last visit to the lamb garden!

Second time here and still thrilled with the food. Condition is super fast. Prices have risen for the last time, but if the products are regional as stated, they are perfectly fine.

Nice and quiet place, outdoors, overlooking Lake Constance. Typical German food, we went years ago and on this trip we returned because we had good memories of the place. It is expensive, but the service and food is good. The services are clean.

Overall a very nice restaurant with great food. However, what I didn't find so good and is also the reason for my review was the service. We sat down at 8:40 p.m. to watch the Italy-Croatia game and waited until about 8:50 p.m. before ordering something: a Coke, a Sprite and two portions of fries. We were finished at around 9:30 p.m., but we still wanted to watch the game. Suddenly the waiter came to us and asked if we were ready. We all said yes, and then he suddenly said that normally we would have to order more to be able to sit there because it's not just a public place to watch football, but a restaurant. At that moment I just thought: Huh? We ordered food after all. Do we now have to empty the menu by 10:50 p.m. in order to be able to sit for 1 1/2 hours? Would we really sit there for 3 hours and just watch the game, okay, but it was really only from 8:40 p.m. to 10:50 p.m., as long as the game was going on. My acquaintances work in the catering industry themselves, and I've never heard of anything like that, that you can't sit there normally for two hours. It was really just said to us. If we had eaten everything within 10 minutes and were still sitting there, then it would be understandable. But we ate for at least an hour just chatting away, and I guess sitting there for 2 hours is the least that's allowed. Or am I wrong?

Well, to be honest, I always thought that the Lammgarten was a typical tourist meeting point close to the lake and therefore avoided it. I'm happy to admit my mistake! Today I like to say that this is, without exaggeration, the best location in Friedrichshafen if you are interested in public viewing during the European Championships with friends. Relaxed and sizzling delicious wheat under chestnuts? It succeeds here. It should also be mentioned that the cuisine is also surprisingly good. Brutally stable, to use the jargon. When it comes to the staff, you notice that not all of them are catering professionals (the shortage of skilled workers affects us all!). However, that's not a bad thing at all, as the employees are extremely friendly, relaxed and communicative despite the hustle and bustle. The prices are a bit steep, but justified given the location. Hey, that's why you're sitting in the beer garden right on Lake Constance and not in the Swabian hinterland!

Cher, mauvais, pas serviable. On commande une saucisse grillée et on nous apporte des saucisses dans un liquide type soupe. On réclame, on nous affirme que c’est ce que nous avons commandé, faux ! C’est vraiment pas bon.

Absolute feel-good atmosphere, some of the best food in the Lake Constance district and the price/performance ratio only makes it better. Attentive and charming service staff and the open kitchen is also very entertaining. ☺

During our 4-day stay in Friedrichshafen, my wife and I visited this highly recommended beer garden 3 times. Very friendly staff and very tasty, dark Zeppelin beer (my insider tip). We only ate there once, but that was also very good. The beer garden is located directly on the promenade opposite the marina and you can see Lake Constance directly. Anyone who likes a beer garden atmosphere is in good hands here.

The food was tasty enough, the order was delivered quickly. Atmosphere: outdoor beer garden with ample seating. Many people always, especially on weekends. There was only one thing that outraged: the name Lammgarten is only a name, because on the menu you will not find a single dish that contains lamb. Therefore, do not rush to go there if you are interested in the name. The waiters, by the way, also have no idea why the restaurant is called Lammgarten.

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed this time. I ordered the Swabian plate. Unfortunately, the spaetzle was far too salty and the meat was unfortunately very tough. For €19.99 I expected much better. The included Maultaschen was very tasty. When I wanted to pay I was addressed by a young man as “yo boss”. I don't think it's appropriate, after all, I'm in a beer garden and not a kebab shop. I've been to the Lammgarten several times and have always been very happy with the food and service. Only this year it seems to have slowed down a lot - a shame

Large beer garden. But condition was friendly didn't have to wait for service. I chose the right thing from the menu. It was delicious and the shandy was refreshing.

Reservations are only accepted for groups of 10 or more, but we got a spot straight away. The portions of the food are very large and taste good - but there have apparently been significant price increases in the last 2 years. We checked the prices in advance via other reviews and were surprised... Example Currywurst XXL with fries: - 2022: €9.30 - 2023: €13.20 - May 2024: €15.20 Small adjustments to drinks (two non-alcoholic Russ that can be mixed with a wheat in the bottle) are rejected - otherwise other tables will see this and also want special requests. My wife accidentally had 2 glasses of lemonade poured over her - there was nothing more than "sorry, if you have to take something to the cleaners, send us the bill". There are more convenient places there in the same price range - we will try another one next time we visit and won't go there again.

Der Lammgarten ist nicht mehr das, dass es mal war. Vor 3/4 Jahren war es ein 5 Sterne Biergarten. Die Preise richten sich mittlerweile an Gourmetrestaurants aus, Preis/Leistung von Essen stimmt nicht überein, Bier viel zu überteuert. War gestern mit meinem Vater dort, 2 mal Currywurst mit Pommes und wir sind beide zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass die Currywurst die es bei unserem Arbeitgeber in der Kantine Mittwochs gibt, die wesentlich schmackhaftere ist. Die Wurst sehr Knorpelreich, die Haut nicht knusprig, man konnte sie nicht beißen oder gar schlucken, die Pommes dick und das krasse Gegenteil von kunsprig, einfach nur eklig. Der Kellner war zuvor wohl beim Bund, sehr bestimmend, einen Hauch von Freundlichkeit und einen messerscharfen Blick wann endlich das Glas leer ist, aufdringlich und sehr unangenehm.
