We were here during our vacation. The food was excellent and the service was fast. A great location; we felt comfortable.

Friendly and fast service. Despite the large crowd, the food arrived relatively quickly and was delicious. Plus, a view of the marina.

A beer garden with table service, located directly on Friedrichshafen's main promenade, the waterfront promenade. The modest menu offers hearty Württemberg home-style cooking to pair with beer, from which my wife and I chose the Jägerschnitzel and homemade Maultaschen (ravioli). The food was brought to our table very quickly by the friendly staff. The portions were substantial, with plenty of spaetzle and a salad garnish that almost covered the entire vegetable garden. As for drinks, the wines from Hagnau are served in 0.25-liter bottles and seem relatively cheaper than the beers from "Laichinger" and "Farny." We really enjoyed our meal at the "Lammgarten."

The Waitress was very lovely and personable. She made us feel very at home and we wish the best for her in Mayo, Ireland 🇮🇪

The most beautiful spot in Friedrichshafen for a delicious beer and a great meal. We always enjoy coming back. Service is always top. Big plus point: There is a nice playground for the kids right next door.

I visited this restaurant, which impresses with its beautiful location and great ambiance. The prices are a bit higher for a chain restaurant, but the overall package is perfect. Unfortunately, there was one situation that disappointed me: When I ordered additional bread and was promised 4 slices for 2 euros, I ended up only getting 1.5 slices. Unfortunately, it wasn't clarified beforehand whether these were whole slices, half slices, or quarter slices. When I asked where the rest was—I was expecting 4 whole slices and only received 3 half slices—the waiter unfortunately just shrugged and didn't seem to care. I found that really disappointing and unprofessional, as such little things can significantly spoil the overall impression. It annoyed me. I don't want to be a nitpicker, but I'm concerned about the principle here. Why don't they just communicate clearly what you're getting for your money? Then at the end of the day everyone can decide whether to accept the deal or not and they can't be disappointed if it turns out to be too much or too little.

We had a salad, we had children's fries and tarte flambée. To drink there was a non-alcoholic beer, a diet coke and a water, a mixed ice cream and iced coffee. Everything tasted great. Nice and friendly.

I would have liked to have a few beers with my girlfriend in the beer garden, but waiting over 30 minutes for drinks is just too much. Even after the waitress asked us, somewhat confused, whether we'd already ordered, which we told her we had, and we answered yes, no drinks arrived at our table, and new guests were served.

Unfortunately, I can't speak for the general atmosphere, but we wanted to go to the after-show party after the Mallorca Party Boat. Unfortunately, we found that security simply arbitrarily turned people away. The reason: too drunk. While others who had collapsed on the floor were allowed in. Conversation was impossible and rude, and it simply felt like an exercise of power. Those who did get in talked about the prices being way too high. It's a shame, really; it looks like a great venue otherwise.

Nice place to eat, plenty of shade. It's really great for the price. All the staff were super friendly. Our dog was allowed to sit at the table and even keep his water bowl at the table.

Food is OK, portions are sufficient, service is top-notch, the ambiance is like a "beer garden" under chestnut trees with a view of Lake Constance... Lammgarten, after all, a traditional restaurant in Friedrichshafen... but unfortunately, it's not exactly cheap anymore.

We really appreciate the lamb garden! A great guest garden with a wonderful view of the lake. We are happy to take the hour-long drive and have been coming here at least once in the summer for years. There is also a large playground for the children. The service is quick, very friendly and nice! The food and the beer taste even better.... ;-)

Be careful when paying with card!!! The card reader lets you choose how much tip you want to give. If you are inattentive, you can spend a lot of money unintentionally. I can't really tell if this is a scam or not. In any case, be careful!!!

The beer garden was recommended to me in my hotel. And it was really great there, great atmosphere on Lake Constance, very nice staff. I ate an XXL currywurst, very tasty, I think there is something for everyone. A clear recommendation that you definitely have to go!

The lamb garden in Friedrichshafen is simply a dream! I was there on a sunny afternoon and immediately felt at home. The location right on Lake Constance is unbeatable - with a view of the water, sitting under shady trees, a cool drink in your hand... it couldn't be better! The food was really delicious – classic, down-to-earth and freshly prepared. I had a schnitzel with potato salad, accompanied by a local beer, and it was exactly what you want in a beer garden. The portion was generous and the price-performance ratio was great. I would particularly like to highlight the service: super friendly, fast and attentive, despite the busy beer garden. For me, one of the most beautiful places in Friedrichshafen to end the day relaxing

Great location right on the lake, location is quiet, sometimes, because EVERYTHING is really good, quite crowded... Food: small menu but everything is fresh and tasty. Service: fast, friendly, capable. TOP

The service was super nice and attentive! Accepted our special requests with a smile and all of them were fulfilled. The taste was great and it was prepared really quickly, even though it was busy on this sunny Saturday. We ate the food in the picture and paid 55 euros including two drinks and a tip. However, one has to say on the positive side that we were full, special requests were implemented very quickly and the service was very friendly and quick. So not too expensive and we would eat here again. 👋😊🍺 (Extra requests were: in addition to the schnitzels, spaetzle and, with the Kässpatzen, Maultaschen.)

One of the last beer gardens on the lake, so always very full, despite the exorbitant prices. In the winter village a 0.3 beer costs 4 euros.

We were there to drink mulled wine. It was a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately there is some weird shooting music here at the Christmas party... I don't know the artist and it looks like there are very few guests... :( What a shame!

Beautiful beer garden by the lake, with trees. Therefore there are plenty of shaded places, but for sun lovers there are also places with partial shade or pure sun. Service ok, friendly and quick. The food is OK but rather average. Because of the very pretty location I come back again and again.

The food and atmosphere were wonderful but it was depressing that none of the waiters were able to understand the menu in sign language, even though 90% of the guests were visitors to the Congress for the Deaf that was taking place in Friedrichshafen. A small training course would be good for the waiters!

I was in Friedrichshafen for a business trip. We had just arrived and was looking for a place for lunch. We wanted to sit by the Obersee/Bodensee, so basically lunch with a view. Our goal was to have a quick lunch, and we were able achieve it. Luckily it was a sunny day with 22 degrees and we sat outiside. I ordered Flammkuchen Classic and a bottle of water. It was tasty, service was fast and the atmosphere was relaxing.

The tarte flambées are thin and crispy and are freshly topped and baked in a wood-fired oven Staff very friendly The Alge is also great opposite the train station on the lake, the tables are not too close together and mostly protected from sun and rain by trees The portions are decent and the Maultaschen are obviously homemade There is also an outdoor wine and beer bar A nice bar indoors You can go out for a spontaneous meal here, even with children The children's portions are quite okay, spaghetti Bolognese €8.50 for children just under €14 for adults as an example There is always a meal of the day, which can sometimes be sold out if you arrive a little later than at lunchtime All in all, highly recommended for a meal in between, also because of the short waiting time

The food, on the other hand, is of a higher quality, like in a restaurant, and the price is absolutely appropriate for the location. Great quick and friendly service.

The tarte flambée was homemade, the fitness salad was very varied and sausage salad as well as schnitzel and fries satisfied everyone. What stands out even more is the service, which is super fast for such a large beer garden. Perfect for spontaneous drinks on the shore.

The waitress who served us on Saturday was visibly annoyed because of the card payment and then literally ripped the tip out of me hand and walked away without saying goodbye and thank you for the tip. That's what broke the camel's back. The food was very tasty and value for money was okay. It was nice to sit under the trees. It's just a shame that the waitress treated us so badly
