Absolutely amazing! 😍 The food was incredible – the burrito was delicious, the tiramisu was fantastic, and the chocolate soufflé was simply divine! The rest of the food was also top-notch; everything was perfect. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly – ​​you immediately feel welcome. 💯 We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

We were there for brunch today. Personally, I just call it a breakfast buffet, because brunch is a breakfast buffet followed by lunch, but that wasn't the case. The restaurant was half full, and the staff couldn't keep up with replenishing the buffet. The waiters were at our table frequently, asking for our plates and giving them to take away.

A true highlight in Darmstadt Such a hidden gem in the heart of Darmstadt. Sensationally delicious food, great service, and a beautiful ambiance. I wonder why I haven't been here sooner. The only "problem" is the large portions. After a huge portion of nachos and a very generous roast beef, there was simply no room for dessert. And on the walls, there are works of art by the popular artist Christina Schwinn. What can I say? A perfect evening. I'm looking forward to the next time.

We arrived very early, so we were practically the only guests and were able to enjoy the full attention of the staff. Everyone was super nice and friendly. We sat outside on the terrace in a corner that was well protected from the wind and offered plenty of privacy thanks to the alcove. We ordered "Sanguches de Peru - Atahualpa" and "Empanada de Pollo," which I shared with my girlfriend. And what can I say? It tasted fantastic. The bread was the highlight – crispy baked and deliciously filled. We were immediately impressed. The price-performance ratio is also good. If you're looking to try something new, I recommend the Pisco Sour. An authentic Pisco Sour is made with Peruvian Pisco, a grape brandy, and served with a topping of egg white. As someone who enjoys tasting specialties from countries far and wide, I found the drink to be a new taste experience and enjoyed it very much. After a while, however, it became a bit uncomfortable, as you couldn't really lean back. The decor was rather simple and nothing special, but the restaurant can definitely be recommended.

It was a very nice, kid-friendly visit. We had burritos and wraps, both very, very tasty and full of flavor!

First of all: the service was very attentive. The brunch, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment. In a Peruvian restaurant, you'd expect a Peruvian brunch—but that wasn't the case. The food selection is thoroughly Western and not particularly diverse. There was no fresh fruit, and neither was there free water, which is standard at any buffet. As a vegetarian, the options are also extremely limited. The buffet primarily features various meat offerings, which was very disappointing. Accordingly, I cannot recommend the brunch to vegetarians/vegans. The menu outside of the brunch includes several vegetarian options, which made the selection at the buffet doubly disappointing.

Typically, the experience at a restaurant depends on your expectations. At La Lucha, no matter what you expect, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting Peruvian breakfast dishes, you won't find them. Instead, you'll find typical Western dishes that are underwhelming, far too salty, and—most disappointingly—very meat-heavy. The restaurant touts its food ethics, praising its commitment to serving only "good" food. Yet, you'll find mostly meat, dairy, and eggs—what was that about ethics again? Expect to be thoroughly disappointed and hungry as a vegan/vegetarian by the end of your visit.

Great place and people, despite the lack of meat for the beef burger, I definitely recommend the chicken and spicy sauce woooow

We've been guests at LaLucha for years, both privately and for business, and we have a truly wonderful time there without exception. We're very lucky to work around the corner and can pop over at any time for a coffee during our break or an after-work shandy. A little peckish at lunch? No problem, there's always delicious food. Whether from the à la carte menu or the changing lunch menu. The service is top-notch, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are also great. A little special request? No problem. Anything that's possible is fulfilled. The ambiance is modern yet still has a cozy atmosphere. Sitting outside when it's warm with good food and delicious drinks - it's simply wonderful here! We always feel warmly welcomed! Thank you for the excellent service and the always great times with you!

We felt really comfortable from the start. The food is well presented and tastes great. It's worth noting that there's a lot of pulled meat. The Manyok fries are also something you only get occasionally. The homemade lemonade was also excellent. We'll be back when we're in Darmstadt.

Delicious, authentic food in a great, hidden location in the city. A large selection of drinks, which we really enjoyed. My only criticism is that the portions are a bit small, but otherwise everything is great!

The food was an 8/10 and tasted really delicious. The service at the beginning was super friendly and nice. However, after the lady, another service employee came who didn't let me finish speaking and tried to correct me with the phrase "please," which I wanted to say at the end. I asked her if she could get me half a lemon for my salad. She looked at me stupidly and said, "Can you give me a lime?" To which I then asked, "Don't you have any lemons?" She said, "Yes, but I had to cut it up for that," with a listless, ungrateful face. This place used to be a really great place a long time ago. I'm so sorry for the bad review, Haki, but things used to be different here. If the service staff don't want to smile and do their job properly, then they should just do something else. The place is beautifull, my coctel was good , the service too, but the food was not what I expected. Sorry about that, but I didn’t feel the latin soul in the food. The rice didn’t taste good and I think when in a “Latin” restaurant there aren’t latin cooker , this is cultural appropriation. It is only an opinion.

What was going on?! Our mixed starter cost €16!! You can see in the picture that the goods have a value of €2, which is an absolute disgrace. When I asked the waitress whether this was the "platter" for €16, he was simply told "fact". There were 4 olives and some dip and guacamole served carelessly on a plate. We had to wait a very long time for the food. We were traveling in a group and when we wanted to order the billing we were told that the cash register system was broken and that we could not be issued an invoice. It is also not possible to understand what was actually ordered. Our bill was estimated based on the waitress's eye; no one could understand whether it was correct or not. There was also no invoice, so we were billed for something that no one could control. I've never experienced anything like this before. I definitely won't go there again. Wine bottles were priced at will. There was neither an overall overview nor a partial invoice. Apparently there was still a bottle of water and wine (30€ a bottle!) "open", this estimate was simply thrown out by the waitress. Anyone who goes there should write down exactly what was ordered, otherwise something will simply be taken into account. The prices are utopian high. The dish in the picture cost €16. It's a farce, you can say whatever you want. Very disappointing.

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is actually quite nice, but it can get relatively loud inside if there are a lot of guests there.

It was open on Good Friday at 4PM. Delicious food and super attentive service. They have served the dishes super fast. A very well decorated and quiet environment. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon for the famous brunch.

Veggie pasta was so salty that I could not eat it. It was imposible to pay with card. I dont recommend this place

Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. Two of us ate at La Lucha today and both ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a double patty. The burger was extremely disappointing. The meat was extremely oversalted, and the burger was poorly prepared overall. There are much better burgers in Darmstadt. The real shocker came with the bill: we were charged eight euros for an extra patty. The entire burger cost €22, which is disproportionate considering the quality. They also charged €6 for filtered tap water. Absolutely outrageous. Never again. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating.

Great little restaurant in Darmstadt. Be sure to make a reservation in advance; when we were there, the restaurant quickly filled up. But that's understandable, because the food is really good. We especially recommend the bruschetta with guacamole and pico de gallo. This appetizer is simply divine. Definitely share; you can also eat it on its own as a main course and it will be quite filling.

The furnishings were very nice but the price-performance ratio was very poor. The food is simply unseasoned and no herbs are used. Everything was good, but the food wasn't worth the high price. I paid 20 euros for a meal and a drink for one person, which would have been ok if the food had been really good

The service is very friendly and the restaurant also looks very nice in terms of furnishings. I ordered a vegan burger. The patty was really top notch, but for €15 I would have expected a normal size. The burger was about the size of the back of your hand and the bun was cold and dry and a side dish is just enough to fill you up if you're not very hungry. I expect a little more for €20 if you order a burger and a side dish. The homemade iced teas were very tasty.

The food here is always fresh, appetizingly prepared and delicious, no matter what you order. Brunch on Sunday is highly recommended. The selection is large and it tastes great.

Out of the City Center, there is this extraordinary restobar. Great menu with special flavors! We had one unforgettable meal! Congratulations!

LaLucha in Darmstadt completely convinced me! The Peruvian-inspired dishes are fresh and delicious, with the sandwiches and burgers in particular being a highlight. The Sunday brunch from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. is a must - a colorful selection that leaves nothing to be desired. The ambience is cozy and stylish, with a lovely outdoor area for sunny days. The service is friendly and attentive. For me a clear 5 star place that I recommend to everyone!

We had the chicken empanadas, Aji de Gellina and both tasted good with sufficient quantity. Both the cocktails we tried were also good (Pisco sour and Lima Mule). The service was great as well. All in a all a good place to hang out over a cocktail.

There are 5 stars for the sweet potato fries! Really delicious and probably homemade too! The Peruvian sandwich was also delicious and very freshly made. Only the homemade lemonade was a disappointment. The service is very friendly and the interior is also nice.

Totally nice and cozy restaurant. We were there for the Sunday brunch buffet. Everyone really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. The staff is super nice. The food at the buffet was replenished quite quickly. The selection wasn't super big, but sufficient. I think the waffles you can prepare yourself at the buffet are great - it couldn't be fresher. The prices are absolutely OK! Parking is a bit of a hit and miss, but it's centrally located. We've been here for brunch several times now - and have never tried it. A clear recommendation! After reopening due to water damage, I was there again - for brunch, which is now also available on Saturdays. It's gotten a little more expensive - and I think the selection has decreased a bit. We were less enthusiastic than before.

The food is delicious and the portion is quite large. I don't usually write bad reviews, however the young waitress needs a little training and interest in her job. When asked how many empanadas there are per serving, he couldn't answer it (I don't think it's bad) but I do hope that he would ask a colleague or superior to answer the question, but I never got the answer. The menu shows nachos with guacamole sauce, or cheese sauce, if you want melted cheese on the nachos it is €1.50 more, I ordered this option of melted cheese with guacamole sauce on the side (as it appears on the menu), but She didn't understand anything, I repeated it to her 3 times and she still brought me the 2 sauces instead of the melted cheese as I had requested... Then the food took 45 minutes on the clock to arrive, and the same waitress, instead of giving us the plate, handed it to another table... I had to intervene and say that I thought that was what Lob had ordered. I understand that it is homemade food and it is not done right away... but even so, the time should be improved. The red fruit lemonade is delicious, as is the food. I give 3 stars because the food is really good, and if the waitress had been more interested I would have given it 5.

Unfortunately the food is not Peruvian. I often go to Peru, or to really Peruvian restaurants in Germany.

Food was ok, but nothing more. I found my classic burrito very spicy, but when the waitress asked me how the food tasted the information was only answered with an OK. My friend's sweet potato fries were quite salty.

There were brunch on a Sunday, were very warmly greeted and had a top service from dear Jayda. The buffet was also so extensive and everything tasted delicious, is definitely recommended and we will definitely come back 😇

We had lunch/afternoon there today and were very impressed!! For the lady in service an A+ with stars! I haven't experienced such a friendly and competent service person in a long time! When asked about gluten-free options, she had trained answers! I felt very well looked after. I also really liked the honesty that contamination in the kitchen cannot be ruled out! I would like to see this much honesty in every restaurant that offers gluten-free food. The menu also describes gluten-free options really well! I would also like to see this across the board! A great role model for other restaurants!!! The food was great!! Here too, the advice from the service staff was wonderful and charming with humor! Very nice! The portions and prices are great! A heartfelt recommendation for anyone who likes good food! I also found the atmosphere to be very nice! When dusk came, there were great lamps for each table. A repeat visit is guaranteed!!! Thanks to this great opportunity to eat gluten-free! The sanitary facilities are also very clean and well maintained.

Actually that's 9/10 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible...! Our visit yesterday was a complete success and the food and drinks were delicious (there are delicious cocktails and some really great Peruvian dishes!). Why not 5 stars? We were missing the final “icing on the cake” when it came to eating. But in any case, La Lucha is a recommendation for a great get-together - we'll be back...! :-)

The fresh mint tea was disappointing, but well, maybe it's the winter. I found the food a bit salty and disappointing if you expect good Peruvian cuisine.

Why haven't we been here yet? The staff was very friendly when we made the reservation, the restaurant was full in the evening and we got a nice table for two. The staff remains friendly and attentive throughout the evening, they always ask if everything is OK and ordering drinks again is no problem. We had nachos with cheese sauce as a starter, delicious. For the main course we had a vegetarian and a spicy Mexican burrito, nothing that was briefly heated but seemed like it was freshly made and a really tasty and fresh salad (not the usual iceberg lettuce) with a very good dressing. The whole thing is perfectly fine with 3 wines + a large bottle of water for just over €60.

The portions are far too small, even with a starter I wasn't full. The quality of the food is ok, but nothing special. The prices are at a high level for the performance. Unfortunately, the service is also rather mediocre and the staff can quickly become overwhelmed. But the shop is uncomplicated, there are options for vegetarian and vegan diets, everyone can find something, but there is no restaurant that I would visit without peer pressure.

Sehr leckeres Essen, einziges Manko: Die Portionen sind für die Preise recht klein. Lava-Schoko-Kuchen sehr zu empfehlen! Cocktails sind auch sehr gut. Service ist je nach Personal mal überdurchschnittlich freundlich und kompetent, aber manchmal auch leicht überfordert. Wenn es abends mal voll ist, lieber nicht zu krasses erwarten, bei uns waren jetzt mehrfach die Süßkartoffeln noch roh - das kriegt ihr besser hin!

Mittagstisch heute war hervorragend. Die Portion hätte etwas größer sein können und es hätte auch etwas schneller gehen können. Aber der Geschmack war 1a, daher auch die 5 Sterne.

Freundlicher und flotter Service trotz großer Gruppe. Burger super, Burrito hat mich sehr enttäuscht. Nicht wie auf der Karte angegeben mit Käse überbacken sondern nur einen Mini Klecks drauf. Inhalt des Burritos hat wie ein Eintopf geschmeckt. Kaum Tomate oder Spur Cream sowas dran. Schade! Preise eher hoch. Für Burger angemessen, für das Burrito nicht.

Ein sehr freundlicher Service und das Essen ist toll. Der Kuchen ist der Hammer, selbst gebacken und das Gemüse super frisch. Alle Gerichte sind nach Schärfe gekennzeichnet

Das La Lucha war ohnehin schon gut, aber jetzt verdienen sie wirklich auch fünf Sterne. Die Speisekarte ist erheblich erweitert worden - leider haben sie dabei die papas rellenas rausgenommen. Vielleicht kommen die ja beim nächsten Update wieder zurück.

Essen super Service mindestens genauso!

Falls ich jemals zum Tode verurteilt werde, wird meine letzte Mahlzeit das pulled turkey Sandwich "Matchu Piccu" von LaLucha. So gut ist es.

All the food I ordered was outright inedible by minimal decency standards. The starter was boiled potatoes with salt and the main course is an unimaginable tabasco-flavoured mix of sub-standard ingredients Kyrgyz agricultural workers canteen style. The cooking is beyond horrible: go to McDonalds better!

Um es vorweg zu nehmen: das Essen ist ok, der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist auch ansprechend, das Essen hat aber mit Peru gar nichts zu tun. Wir müssen es wissen, meine Frau ist Peruanerin und ich selbst habe mehrere Jahre in Peru gelebt. Die Karte ist eine Mischung von vor allem Tex-Mex und ansonsten lateinamerikanischer Fusionsküche. Ich hatte "Sanguches de Peru" Atahualpa (ich denke ein Tex-Mex Sandwich) und meine Frau hatte "typisch peruanisch" Lomo Saltado (wohl eher ein extrem scharfer Mexican estofado, aber kein Lomo Saltado). Ok, wenn es den Gästen schmeckt. Soweit so gut, bei den Rezensionen ist mir aber eine extrem verstörende Tirade des Inhabers auf eine negative Rezension aufgefallen. Ich weiß nicht, was mit dem Gast passiert ist, allerdings lese ich da:"...haben Sie sich schon einmal Gedanken gemacht, ob wir die gleichen Produkte in Europa haben, geschweige denn den gleichen Gaumen?" Antwort: Ja, die Produkte gibt es, Aji de Gallina kann hier mit Aji amarillo zubereitet werden, nicht mit Mandelcremesoße. Das Lomo Saltado meiner Frau ist wie in Peru zubereitet und schmeckt jedem hier. Und zum Schluß: "Dieses Restaurant habe ich für alle Nationen auf die Beine gestellt, nicht nur für ein paar Peruaner!". Aber gleichzeitig lesen wir auf der Website von La Lucha: "Ein Stück Peru in Darmstadt" und "inspiriert von der traditionellen peruanischen Küche". An den Inhaber/die Inhaberin: Wenn Sie die Peruaner und ihre Traditionen beleidigen wollen und selbst nicht der herrlichen peruanischen Küche kundig sind, dann sollten Sie es bitte unterlassen, damit zu werben Bieten Sie doch einfach lateinamerikanische Fusionsküche an, wenn Sie denken, dass das jedem hier schmeckt. Und zu guter Letzt: wir haben uns beim Service bedankt, bezahlt und Trinkgeld gegeben. So tief würden wir nie sinken

Wir waren zwei mal hier. Beim ersten Mal sehr zufrieden, das Essen war gut, der Service nett. Beim zweiten Mal das gleiche bestellt, jedoch war die Beilagenportion nur halb so groß wie beim ersten Mal (für 2€ Aufpreis gab es statt einer Portion Pommes ganze 3! Yuca Frites) und das Essen eher geschmacklos, die Süßkartoffelpommes nicht ordentlich frittiert oder gebacken und mein Essen nur lauwarm. Sehr enttäuschend

Ambiente ist nicht komplett meins, aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Bedienung war super nett hat auch für uns extra alles durch 2 geteilt. Essen war wirklich super geil. Hatte den la lucha burger mit extra käse und ich kann ihn wirklich mur empfehlen, die potato wedges mit guacamole waren auch sehr lecker. Ein zusammenspiel aus geschmäckern das wirklich einfach nur freude bringt.

Ganz guter Laden, aber mir persönlich zu teuer für das, was geboten wird.

Waren am Sa. im La Lucha. Servce anfangs aufmerksam, dann hat er sich nicht mehr blicken lassen. Ich hatte den Salat mit Chicken, der gut geschmeckt hat, der Burger soll auch gute geschmeckt haben, Was die Cocktails betrifft: würde ich dort nie wieder bestellen. Die Gläser sind überfüllt mit Eiswürfel und der Negroni war nur zum Drittel befüllt, generell kaum was zum Austrinken....

A nice place with mostly very good cuisine, where all of the dishes we got, except for the steak, were phenomenal. The steak was unfortunately a miss but not too bad to ruin the experience. The cocktails are also very tasty and they have many more than just the classics. A very close 5/5 if they stay consistent with all their dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Gutes Essen und gute Cocktails / Bier

Ganz schlechter Service. Hatte meine Geburtstagsgäste zum Brunch eingeladen. Es sollte ein Sektempfang geben. Es wurde mir zugesagt, Sekt und Gläser sind dann schon eingedeckt. War leider nicht der Fall. Wir haben dann fast 30 Minuten warten müssen, bis wir erst mal Kaffee bestellen konnten. Auf meine Nachfrage, was denn mit dem Sekt sei wurden mir dann 2 Flaschen und Gläser auf den Tisch gestellt. Weder die Flaschen wurden geöffnet noch wurde der Sekt eingeschenkt. Das konnte die Servicekraft nicht und musste erst eine Kollegin (Chefin) holen. Irgendwann zwischen Kaffe, Brötchen und Rührei konnten wir dann mit Sekt anstoßen. Ab und an wurde das benutzte Geschirr abgeräumt. Nach weiterem Kaffe oder Tee wurde auch nicht mehr gefragt. Für einen Brunch mal zwischendurch okay, aber nicht wenn man was schönes plant. Hier geht es meiner Meinung nach nur noch um abkassieren. Service ist nicht so wichtig. Absolut keine Empfehlung von mir. Sehr Schade. Hatte ich anders in Erinnerung.

Ich war zum Mittagstisch im LaLuca und hatte HähnchenCurry mit Reis, gefolgt von einer sehr leckeren Creme Brulee. Dazu ein stilles Wasser und einen Maracujasaft. Die Bedienung war freundlich und kompetent, Speise- und Getränkekarte wusste sie auswend und konnte Empfehlungen geben. Das Essen kam innerhalb von 15 Minuten, war schön angerichtet, heiß und vor allem sehr lecker 😋. Die Innenhofterrasse war gut besucht, drinnen nur zwei Tische besetzt. Das LaLuca bietet ein sehr schönes, rustikales und vor allem barrierefreies Ambiente. Die Toiletten waren sauber und sind ebenfalls barrierefrei, allerdings für einen Rollstuhl zu schmal. Ein tolles Lokal, ich komme bestimmt gerne wieder.

Wir waren im Restaurant mit der Hoffnung peruanisches authentisches Essen zu bekommen. Leider wurden wir herb enttäuscht und dieses Essen was uns vorgesetzt wurde entsprach nicht im geringsten den peruanischen Anspruch. Leider müssen wir noch dazu sagen dass wir von der Bedienung keine Hilfe bekommen haben am Ende hieß es bitte kommen sie nicht wieder zu uns 😚

Gutes Essen in schöner Atmosphäre, zu angemessenen Preisen. Sonntags gibt es Brunch und das Personal ist immer freundlich. Mittags habe ich ein bisschen lange aufs Essen warten müssen, war aber sehr lecker.

Ganz schön, leckeres Essen und nettes Personal! Die akustik ist etwas nervig - weil einfach zu laut.

Top Service . Top Getränke . Die Gerichte sind aufbaufähig . Tipp: Bestellt keine Guacamole das was hier serviert wird, ist definitiv keine Guacamole.

Neben demleckeren essen sind auch die guten Cocktails zu erwähnen ( auch alkoholfrei)

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier essen. Es gab einen Burrito und einen Burger. Beides war ganz gut, aber beim Burrito hat mir der typische Kreuzkümmel Geschmack gefehlt und beim Burger hat der Patty leider noch nichts geschmeckt und die Burger Soße war auch solala. Der Service war eigentlich auch ganz gut, auch wenn mein Essen vergessen wurde. Ging dann auf Nachfrage aber flott :) Die Preise sind eher gehoben..

Mehr Schein als sein . Lokal sieht top aus , hilft nur leider nichts wenn Essen und Getränke nicht schmecken und die Preise wie in München sind .

Leider war das Personal nicht so freundlich. Hatte den Anschein als wenn ein neuer Gast kahm, die Laune immer schlechter wurde... Mein Fazit, es gibt Gastronomiebetriebe wo Gäste erwünscht sind..

Essen und Service waren perfekt. Hatte eine Vorspeise (Bruschetta), und den LaLucha Burger mit Kartoffelecken. Menge und Qualität waren sehr gut. Auch die anderen Gerichte sahen super aus und haben den anderen Gästen geschmeckt.

Haben bis 23 Uhr geöffnet. Küche hat aber schon mindestens ab 21:45 Uhr geschlossen, was nirgends steht. Ärgerlich wenn man Hunger hat. Essen ist durchschnittlich.

To było niezwykłe! Wspaniałe nadziewane avocado na gorąco, bardzo miła Pani kelnerka, pomocna, wesoła, aż żal, że tak tu mamy daleko :)

Gutes Essen mit zahlreichen vegetarischen Variationen. Ich war bereits 3 mal dort und werde bestimmt wieder kommen. Service ist super.

Wir vier sind heute auf Besuch das erste Mal in Darmstadt. Auf Empfehlung waren wir heute im LaLucha und waren voll zufrieden, von der Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise.

Ist ein bisschen laut wenn es voll ist, da ist eine unterhaltung nur schreiend möglich. Das Essen ist prima, auch die Größe der Portionen. Der Service ist gut und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist super. Empfehlenswert.
