Lal Roop Pizzeria Da Papu in Weida

We were there on Saturday evening. Eat local. The atmosphere is more like a canteen in the GDR. Everything is pretty uncomfortable. The ceiling has open holes. Some of the cables are hanging around somewhere. Old coat hooks have broken off. There were probably decorations hanging on the pillars that are only partially there.😅 Looked like a centipede that had lost its legs. Dowels and the like are sticking out. In an Italian restaurant you will only be served by Indians and accompanied by Indian music. Not really great. For an Italian 😅 the waitress doesn't understand a word. Extra wishes were probably written down on paper somehow but they are not done because German is not understood properly. When you've run out of drinks you won't even be asked if you want anything else. You have to draw attention to the fact that you are being charged... theoretically and practically we could have just gotten up without paying. Nobody would have noticed anyway 😅It would be better to clean the outside of the refrigerator until there is no coating left on it. 🙊The main thing is not to use it. The food was rather mediocre. An advantage: it went pretty quickly. The bruschetta is very oily and tastes like pesto from a jar. Arranged rather carelessly. The pizza wasn't that great either. It was a hard dough with a bit of topping. The bar is full of all sorts of spirits. All in all you can say it was an absolute failure. We definitely won't come back again.

Unfortunately, in the middle of the high season, there was only frozen fruit available with the ice cream sundaes. There was one type of fresh fruit - melon - with everything we ordered. Even with apple strudel. It's just not to everyone's taste and it all seemed rather poorly improvised rather than lovingly decorated. For the price of the ice cream sundaes (considering their size) we would have expected more.

We had a very good ice cream sundae. Everything is ok, only the parking spaces as a view are not that great.

We've been here several times before, but this time we were very disappointed. The spaghetti ice cream was smaller than a child's portion, mango ice cream instead of vanilla. The strawberry cup also didn't contain the varieties we ordered and we doubt that there were 3 scoops in it. Yes, savings are being made everywhere, but that's too much. We won't be coming here again, it's a shame.

Food was good and didn't appear to be frozen food. A rarity now.

There is always something..... that can be done better. Generally still very good in terms of taste and the reliability of the delivery service. Prices are moderate.

Weak service, long waits for drinks and food and the staff understands and speaks German very poorly. Ordered pizza, the edge was very dark and the taste was not particularly good either. I will not visit the restaurant again and will not recommend it to others.

We were there this afternoon. We ordered 2 small cups of coffee, they came after 20 minutes and were only 1/4 full. We ordered 2 strawberry sundaes. After 15 minutes the “waitress” came and asked us: what we had ordered again?! After 1 hour we still had NO ice cream sundae, when I went into the restaurant and said this I was told they were out of strawberries. After a total of 1 1/2 hours we got our ice cream sundae with 3 strawberries on it. It wasn't well presented, small and not fair for the price. The "service" doesn't understand a bit of German, no friendliness and very bad service!!!!! Never again!

Great espresso, ice cream and beer. The seasonal menu looked delicious. We were served friendly.

We were passing through and ordered a pizza. We liked it. A different soil taste. Well documented, unfortunately a bit dark at the edges.

The food only has something to do with a pizzeria in the name. Cabonara is made with cream and pizza is topped like a double wopper.

Pizzas are okay so far. I would never eat tuna pizza there again. After that I spent 2 days on the toilet.

A restaurant where you can find a seat straight away, place your order and wait for your drink to arrive. Only after asking again do you get something, but before that the waiter asks again what it can be.... Hmmmm, the food was average, the noodles were a bit firm and the meat could have been a little more. Unfortunately, the raspberry sundae had nothing to do with raspberries, because I didn't find them in it, but instead an ice cream ball that was supposed to be mango flavored. When it came time to pay, we were held back for half an hour because no one was there to settle the bill. You should have stood up by then, but you're too honest for that. All in all, I was rather dissatisfied with the atmosphere and I won't be returning there.

They said the ice cream was good. Ok for the price of the two sundaes. From the foresight of the service staff to offer the guests a seat cushion, the "special request" that I only wanted chocolate ice cream in my "Weida cup" (which of course was not done), to the visual design of the ice cream cups, there is still room for improvement. A lot of air.

Great service, plenty of tasty food.

We were a bit overwhelmed with a hiking group of 30 people.

I ordered a lasagna and bruschetta, which unfortunately wasn't good at all. The bruschetta was far too oily and tasted more like bad pesto. The lasagne had cheese everywhere, hardly any minced meat and the lasagna sheets had hardly any taste. My friend also ordered tortellini in cream sauce, which was okay.

A nice place to spend time with friends over a beer. I recommend it, they serve very good ice cream.

We ate there on a public holiday. Ambiance was great. Service was top, very friendly and also had a saying on the lips. Food came quickly, very good size and very tasty. Were very satisfied.

The 'pizza' served has never seen an Italian pizza. It had nothing to do with Italian pizza at all. I forced myself in 1/3 and left the rest. Looked and tasted like an undercooked, ready-made pizza with toppings. That's probably why she was there just five minutes after ordering. The bottled beer was good. The service ok. Wouldn't eat there again.

Very good food, fast and nice service.

Have now ordered a family pizza twice and picked it up. Pizza was ready on time and my guests enjoyed it excellently. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will continue to order there and recommend it to others, keep it up.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von der Pizzeria Weida! Die Pizza schmeckt einfach fantastisch und die Auswahl an verschiedenen Optionen ist top. Jedes Mal, wenn ich hier bestelle, bin ich begeistert. Die frischen Zutaten und die perfekt gebackene Kruste machen jede Bestellung zu einem Gaumenschmaus. Ich kann diese Pizzeria nur wärmstens empfehlen - auch bei Bestellungen!

Pizza, war sehr lecker. Sehr viel Käse drauf gewesen und Tomatensoße nicht zu sauer. Wir werden wieder hin gehen.

Das Essen war lecker, der Service war Top, das Ambiente mehr wie ok, wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder :-)

Leider hat die Pizzeria mit den echten italienischen Gerichten nur wenig zu tun...

Wir sind hier zur 50.Osterburgrallye Weida u wollten heute mal gut Essen gehen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden,das Essen war gut.Sehr zu empfehlen👍

Na ja, dass ist noch ausbaufähig. So richtig Italiener ist das nicht und auch unsere Bedienung hatte gewisse Verständigungsprobleme bei Bestellungen und Nachfragen. Im Service ist so was leider äußerst negativ. Das Bier war nicht wirklich gekühlt und die Pizza, ja so auf Imbissbudenniveau mit ordentlich Käse optisch entstellt. Geschmacklich ok, aber wirklich nichts Besonderes. Die Lasagne als auch das Schnitzel mit etwas Spargel waren auch keine Meisterleistung der Kochkunst. Schade.

Schönes Ambiente. Einzige Nachteil ist, daß die Klimaanlage verbessert werden sollte. StRker Essensgeruch!

Sonntag nachmittags ca. 14:30 dort gewesen, erste Info: gibt keine Früchteeisbecher, ok. Am Ende gab es ausser Kaffee und "Kugeleis ohne alles" nix, nicht mal Kuchen dazu. Wozu die Eiskarte mit den leckeren Bechern ausgeteilt wurde, weiß wohl keiner. Na danke!

Macht machmal die beste Pizza in der Gegend. Zwei von fünf Sternen denn Luft gibt es immer nach oben. Nettes Ambiente, freundliches Personal ist weg. Nachtrag: liefert immer mal wieder verbrannte oder falsch belegte Pizzen, oder garnicht und schwankt stark in der Qualität, auch bei anderen Produkten. Das sollte so bei 45€+ Lieferungen nicht sein!

Gutes preis/Leistung verhältnis. Unsere Nudeln waren etwas zu scharf gewürzt. Recht kleine tische. Service am Anfang sehr nett, dann machte scheinbar die einzige Bedienung Feierabend, danach nur noch mittelmäßig.

Nur leider auch deutlich teurer als 2020

Der Besuch des “Italienischen Restaurants“ war eine Notlösung. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Meine Wahl war die kleine Pizza mit Parma-Schinken. Klein ist relativ, dachte ich mir....Die Größe der Pizza war genau so wie ihre Qualität. Eher unbedeutend und erinnerte mich an Tiefkühl-Pizza. Dafür war der Preis mit 9,80 € recht stattlich. Schnelle Aufmerksame Bedienung. Schweinelende und Fisch sind sehr lecker. In Weida kann man gut essen.

Wir gehen immer wieder gern hier essen , sehr gemütlich , sehr schnell , und reichliche Portionen, im Sommer sehr schön zum draussen sitzen

Das Negative vorweg: Im Restaurant riecht es stark nach Pizza. Die Lüftung scheint Probleme zu haben, oder nicht vorhanden zu sein. Die slowakische Bedienung ist nett, hat aber Verständigungsprobleme, so dass nicht immer a gebracht wird, was bestellt wurde. Das Essen macht einen guten Eindruck, die Einrichtung auch. Für Weida ein gutes Restaurant.

Gemütlich eingerichtetet Restaurant. Im Sommer kann man auch sehr gut im Freien sitzen.Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sowohl die Speisekarte als auch die Eiskarte ist zu empfehlen. Wir sind öfter hier zum Mittag- , Abend- und Eisessen. Parken kann man auf dem Markt, allerdings nur für 30 Minuten, danach muss man die Parkuhr umstellen.
