I ate there with my family last week, not recommended because the price/performance ratio wasn't right. Ordered a doner plate with fries three times and only received a doner plate with fries despite repeating the order several times. The meat is very tasty, but the fries are cold and dry, asked for ketchup several times and never received it. We will definitely not come back, absolutely not recommended.

Habe zweimal dort gegessen, es war extrem lecker. Vorweg gab es Salat, Ezme, rote Zwiebeln, yoghurtdip und Brot, allein das war schon sehr geschmackvoll und alles hausgemacht. Einmal hatte ich Hähnchenspieß, dieser war Perfekt gegrillt und super lecker. Das andere Mal hatte ich Ali nazik, das war der absolute Burner, noch nie habe ich dieses Gericht so gut gegessen. Es wird ein toller, fester Yoghurt verwendet, das Lamm war geschmacklich ein Traum und die Butter dazu tut den Rest:)) eins der Besten Essen das ich je hatte.

Ich war in diesem Restaurant, weil es für mich und meine Familie eines der besten in Hamburg ist. Das Essen ist wie immer sehr lecker, aber als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, sagte uns der Kellner 85€ und er bestand darauf, dass wir bar und nicht mit Karte bezahlen. Der Betrag, den wir bezahlt haben, war ein bisschen mehr als das, was wir gegessen haben, also habe ich beim Verlassen des Lokals nach der Quittung gefragt, da es 2 Posten gab, die wir nicht bestellt haben. Ich habe mit ihm gesprochen und was hat er getan? Er hat mir einfach 5€ zurückgegeben. Es ist offensichtlich, dass er so etwas leider gewohnt ist. Übrigens hat er demjenigen, der bezahlt hat, als ich an der Kasse war, keine Quittung gegeben.

I haven't known the Lades Restaurant since today, I have known this restaurant since it first opened there. Back then, my father & I always ate there every Saturday after shopping, the quality was always guaranteed and there was never a reason why you shouldn't recommend this restaurant! Yesterday, however, I noticed that the good quality of this restaurant had deteriorated extremely, my son's chicken was dry, the fries were cold & to top it off I had to find cling film in my meat - I personally find it unappetizing & especially for me as an asthmatic it could be dangerous because I still have other allergens. My son & I have come to the conclusion that we won't eat there anymore, we basically invested €25.40 in garbage instead of good food. That's why we won't visit this restaurant again in the future. My son & I have eaten Turkish food in many German cities but we have never had such a bad meal. Even the most terrible kebab stalls where you think the food doesn't taste good ends up tasting better than what we were served there yesterday. So if you could get the money back I would get it straight away, simply out of principle that you shouldn't pay for bad food. The waiter made an effort, but one comment made me extremely angry, he took this piece of foil and said I could continue eating in peace, it should be normal for cling film to get into the food and left me speechless. For me this is not normal & shouldn't be called normal

Moin Folks, wir wollten etwas Kalbiges futtern und sind über den Steindamm geschlendert und siehe da, ab rein hier. Flott wurde uns zu zweit ein Tisch am Fenster zugeteilt, die Karte nahezu im gleichen Atemzug und prompt Getränke bestellt und Zack, keine 3-Minuten später unsere Getränke. Das Restaurant fühlte sich langsam und wir durften bestellen und knappe 10 Wimpernschläge später war unser Essen serviert. Jetzt zwei Stunden später, alles gut, nix übergeben, besonders Knoblauch-Joghurt war sensationell, schaut beifolgende Bilder, alles 👍✅👍✅👍✅

Amazing Turkish grill and cafe, the food was outstanding and the service was also great. Recommend the Pide with Sucuk very highly. Only downside is that it’s located in a very rough neighbour but I don’t think it’s fair to make that a reflection of the cafe itself.

The tested Dürüm kebab with veal was completely convincing when it came to meat. This was really good meat and not this so-called 'rotisserie meat' with a high proportion of minced meat. The Dürüm bread was also not industrially produced. Unfortunately, this was not heated. This prevents the fifth star. Reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio of the breakfast buffet was not right at all. The selection was very small and of poor quality. Unfortunately not as expected.

Wir haben ans Tisch 1xiskender 2xbeyti 1xhamburgermenu bestellt allgemein es hat 1 stunde gebraucht bis wir das Essen bekommen haben nach dem Essen mussten sich 2 familien Mitglieder auf dem Klo übergeben also für uns war es eine sehr große Enttäuschung aber ansonsten waren die Mitarbeiter sehr nett deswegen auch der eine Stern aber ansonsten eine pure Enttäuschung

We wanted to go to the cinema and asked for 3 quick kebabs to take away. The man behind the counter said that this would only work if we sat down at a table. We then did that and ordered 3 kebabs, saying that we wanted to move on straight away. We were informed that there was no more veal, only chicken. After 10 minutes we still didn't have any kebabs but had to go so we wanted to pay for our coke and go. We were ignored at the checkout for several minutes. I said I just want to pay, we have to go, he doesn't need to start the kebab anymore. He then said he had already done 2 out of 3. So we thought the third one couldn't last much longer and then we had to go! But it went on for another 5 minutes. We then missed the beginning of the film for a really not special kebab. Dry bread that falls apart, lame meat, boring sauces :(

Unfortunately disappointing! The food was okay, but the prices are disproportionate - way too expensive! The service took extremely long and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired: worn, dirty chairs and broken toilets, some of which weren't even usable. You definitely expect more for the money. I wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely unacceptable! I was there with my wife and child and just wanted to enjoy a kebab at the table - so it wasn't a small visit, there was already enough sales! Nevertheless, we were denied permission to eat a kebab at the table. Instead I was told I had to take a plated meal if I wanted to sit. Incredibly inflexible and absolutely not customer friendly! You would think that guest satisfaction should come first, but not here. Definitely the last visit to Lades for us. This is about proportionality.

I had dinner there with my family on Monday. We ordered two kebab plates and a grill plate. The grill plate was served to me after 5 minutes. The meat was lukewarm. In other words, it wasn't freshly grilled but rather something that had already been grilled was warmed up and for 26 euros. In the case of the kebab plates, the liquid from the salad completely soaked the fries. So much for food. Let's move on to the ambience. Before eating we all went to the bathroom to wash our hands. If we had done that once before eating, we wouldn't have eaten here. It smelled so pungently of urine there. Both the soap dispenser and the paper dispenser were empty. My wife told me that the women's toilet doesn't look any better. I will never come here again. I told the waitress that my food was cold. Then she just says ohhhh. I was in this restaurant recently and I have to say I was amazed by the warmth and friendliness of the entire team. As soon as you enter, you can feel the pleasant atmosphere and are immediately given a warm welcome, something that I often missed in Bavaria. Here you really feel like a guest and not just a customer. The food was excellent, lovingly prepared and presented with great care. It's rare to experience so much warmth and personal attention in a restaurant, which is exactly what makes this place special for me. I was here the whole time and I really liked it. My wife bought a hamburger and the bread wasn't heated. Overall the meat was burnt and we didn't like the service on the plate at all. As for my doner plate, the rice was very dry and I didn't like the doner kebab at all. I understand that we had a long wait and it was a busy Friday, but we can't get such bad food and service at the restaurant we paid for because it was busy. They didn't deserve the money we paid, I don't. I highly recommend it and won't go again. I used to come to this place all the time and liked it very much, today we came again with my family, my wife got a hamburger and I got a kebab plate, my wife's food was ice cold, the bread was not heated at all , the meat was burnt and we did not like the service of the plate at all. As for my kebab plate, the rice was very dry and I did not like the kebab at all. I understand that we were kept waiting for a long time , it was Friday and it was busy but we cannot get such bad food and service from a place we pay just because it is busy, they did not deserve the money we paid, I do not recommend it and I will not go again.

Very nice restaurant in St. Georg. Food is always tasty and plentiful... Everything halal... Were just there again on October 13th, 2024. Unfortunately I had to reduce a few points because the restaurant seemed slightly dingy and unfortunately so did the sanitary facilities. The table was cleaned upon request. The upholstered chairs also need cleaning. Too bad!

I ate there again after a long time but unfortunately it was still the same. The food is OK for snack level, the cutlery or plates are not particularly clean, the tables are also very dirty even though I was there at lunchtime during the week. The waiters are listless and not friendly at all. I ate for a total of 45 euros and tipped 5 euros and the waiter didn't even offer tea. There are much better restaurants on Steindamm.

The restaurant offers a diverse range of dishes. The service is friendly and quick (except for the drinks, which were initially forgotten). We chose Lokum (lamb fillet pieces) which were very tender and tasty. If you prefer the meat medium rare, this should be mentioned when ordering. Salad and fries are served with it. The salad was fresh, the fries were crispy and well seasoned. Recommended. The ambience was appealing.

Döner plate had 2/3 salad 0.5/3 fries 0.5/3 meat. The veal meat was very fatty and not tasty with gristle. Fries were probably the cheapest thin ones you can get from Rewe. There was salad on the plate which made the fries very soggy. Unfortunately no longer recommended, it rests too much on the old glory days.

The women's sanitary rooms were acceptable, men's were a disaster, both urinals were broken, the floor in front of them was damp and sticky, the toilet seats in the cubicles were loose, the lid didn't stay up. Everything is pretty dirty. Overall the stay was very disappointing - we expected more. The waiter tried to make up for it with friendliness.

If you come to Humburg you cannot miss this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fast and the staff is very friendly and tries to help you despite the language, I would give it more stars if I could.

Zu zweit eine Grillplatte für zwei Personen bestellt. Ergebnis absolut enttäuschend. Die sehr kleine Grillplatte, die nicht viel größer als ein länglicher Teller war, bestand hauptsächlich aus Reis. Die Fleischbeilage war eine riesen Enttäuschung. Kleine Fleischstücke. Für den Preis war es schon fast eine Frechheit. Bei einem Dönerteller, der günstiger ist, wäre ich eher satt geworden als bei der Grillplatte. Bin mit einem Hungergefühl nach dem Essen gegangen. Schade

We chose the restaurant based on the good reviews. I wouldn't visit this restaurant a second time. You are not welcomed in a friendly manner, let alone considered as a guest. We had to wait half an hour for our order to be taken, even though the store was hardly full. You could tell from the annoyed faces that other guests' orders weren't accepted in a timely manner. We ordered soup in advance, which was served to us cold. Afterwards came the actual main menu. The table was not cleared. Instead, the waitress comes with the new menu and asks us to hand the plates to her on the table, service is apparently at the bottom drawer. As a guest, I am not a waiter at this restaurant, if you eat outside you can expect good service. Never again!

The negative reviews that have been expressed here have no sound basis. I had the pleasure of dining at Lades Restaurant this evening and although the order took some time to prepare, the wait was undoubtedly justified. The food was prepared with obvious care and attention to detail, making the wait understandable given a full house. The staff was extremely courteous and the background noise was pleasant - a clear plus compared to other places like Köz Urfa. The view from the upper floor is impressive and the recent renovation gives the restaurant a more spacious and inviting feel. This restaurant undoubtedly deserves a higher rating than the current stars. Personally, I have nothing to complain about and think a rating of over 4 stars is absolutely appropriate.

Only recommended! We received a very warm welcome. The service is really excellent, the food is very, very tasty and the prices are more than reasonable. Our order came with bread, salad and finally a free tea. The two of us paid less than €50 and unfortunately neither of us managed to finish our meal because it was so plentiful. He is credit to the restaurant and his kindness will make us as a family come back. The food is well season and rice is amazing, definitely the best Turkish food we have had! Offering Turkish delicacies with a lovely taste. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, honestly such an amazing restaurant:) would really recommend.

We had a fantastic time at the Turkish restaurant today. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautiful decor that made us feel like we were truly in Turkey. The highlight of our visit was the excellent service provided by our waiter, Murad. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he gave great recommendations that turned out to be delicious. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of. Super delicious food, well seasoned, child-friendly service

Every time we visit Hamburg, we will go to this neighborhood for food and dessert. In our group, we got a package of lakhamjoon with chicken gyro and wrapped pita with kebab. The lahmajoon was tasty but it was poorer in ingredients than what we saw served on the tables. We got the idea that this happened because it was clearly seen that we were tourists. It cost 12.5€. The kebabs were also delicious, but the €15 they cost (and even for a package) seemed quite expensive to us. Difficulty communicating in English.

Lades Charcoal Grill Restaurant in Hamburg is an absolute insider tip for lovers of authentic Turkish cuisine! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The smell of freshly grilled meat from the charcoal grill is simply irresistible. A particular highlight of my visit was the excellent service. The waiter Murat made our evening unforgettable. With his friendly and attentive manner, he read our every wish. He was always there without seeming intrusive, and with his warm demeanor he immediately made us feel welcome. Murat not only gave us the best recommendations from the menu but also impressed us with his knowledge of the different dishes. The food itself was a taste explosion! We were particularly impressed by the perfectly grilled meat dishes and the fresh side dishes. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation can be felt in every bite. The portion sizes are also generous, so you are guaranteed to leave the restaurant full and satisfied. Overall, my visit to Lades Charcoal Grill was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I can highly recommend to everyone. Today we decided to have Turkish for dinner and we could not be happier. The chicken Döner plate was amazing just like the lahmacun. The even have burgers for those who want more “western” style food.

I have been a loyal guest at the Lades restaurant for years and have always had excellent experiences. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly and attentive, especially Murat Abi. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes impeccable; the variety of dishes offers something for every taste. However, recently I have noticed that the restaurant is receiving more and more negative reviews, which I absolutely cannot understand. For me, the quality has never deteriorated and I am still impressed by the consistently high performance of the kitchen team. Perhaps these reviews reflect personal experiences that are not the norm. I can only warmly recommend the Lades restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit. It's a shame that there are currently difficulties with perception, because in my opinion this restaurant deserves every recognition for its great gastronomy.

I can only agree with the bad reviews. My family and I were in Hamburg for a day trip and came across this restaurant on TikTok. We really liked the advertised buffet, which is why we chose Lades. Unfortunately, the video was more apparent than real. When we arrived at the store it started with the fact that the buffet was open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., but the waiter told us shortly before nine that we would have to wait half an hour. 5 minutes later he called us over and it was suddenly open? So far so good we went in and saw the very puny buffet. Hot dishes such as scrambled eggs or kuymak were not available, nor were pogca and simit. The waiter disappeared into the shop's kitchen and never came to our table again. The Cay was inedible and just tasted really bad. The rolls were neither warm nor crispy, so we assume they came from the day before. The fruit was also no longer really edible. Of course, you shouldn't have too high expectations for €10, but fresh products should be available regardless of the price. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very unkempt and unappealing. In the bathroom you could already see some mold in the sinks. All in all, the visit was a complete disaster and a complete waste of money.

Hello, I visited Lades with three friends today. After we got a seat, it went pretty quickly and we were given the menu straight away. We ordered quite simple dishes like kebab in bread, kebab plate and an iskender. We waited at least 30 minutes for a waiter to come back to our seat, even though we were in good sight. There were no starters, as you would find in many other Turkish restaurants such as: B. with sauces, bread or salads. After telling the waiter several times that we had been waiting for a long time, after about 10 minutes nothing came. In summary, after about 40 minutes our food arrived, but it was missing bread, sauces and more (at that point there was hardly anything going on in the whole store). The waiters are very unsympathetic and somehow irritable. The food itself was okay, but the long wait and the lack of side dishes we ordered and the unsympathetic waiters gave us a very bad impression of the store. Lades Steindamm not recommended!

Overpriced and bad food, the staff barely knows how to speak English you have to get by not to mention you have to wait a very long time for the order to arrive.

The only drawback I have doesn't concern the ambience or the quality of the food. Both were a 10 out of 10. I would have liked toothpicks😂🙈

We were greeted unfriendly and given a seat upstairs. The waiter always seemed annoyed and left us sitting with the cards for half an hour. Even after I went down and asked if we could order, he didn't come up. After another 10 minutes when he came up to collect a customer, he obviously ignored us. After that we left. There was also an attempt to withhold my review, which is why I had to repost it.

Food itself was very tasty, decent portions, lots of side salad, it's definitely worth coming here to eat. It just takes forever to get served. You finally have to speak to the waiter after about 20 minutes of waiting and then it takes a while until you get the menu. I work in a restaurant myself and we would absolutely not tolerate such waiting times!

Dear Lades team, I would like to give you my feedback on our last visit with you. We were really looking forward to lunch, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The lunch advertisement we saw outside promised a price of EUR 7.90, but when we asked they said the price was now EUR 8.90. We found that disappointing, but we decided to go in and eat anyway. I chose No. 4 with lamb and wanted vegetables instead of rice. That was fine, but we had to pay 3 EUR extra for a small salad, which didn't seem particularly good to us, especially since the portion was very small. My wife chose a small kebab plate. We ordered this directly from the waiter and did not consult the menu. The plate came without salad or sauces, which we found very poor. When we later looked at the menu online, we realized that a small plate of kebab wasn't even on the menu and that we paid almost as much for a mini portion as for a large plate, which, according to the photo, contains more. We have never seen such a kebab plate with just meat and rice. So she had to order salad and sauces separately, which made everything completely dry. This was also charged extra again. It's a shame we didn't take a photo. Plus 3 EUR for the salad we were at 16.90 EUR. A large plate of kebab with everything only costs 16 EUR - isn't that a joke? Then we could have ordered the large plate, which contained more. I find that really cheeky and very annoying that the staff doesn't point this out to you, but instead just rips you off. In addition, there were uncertainties regarding the bill. Various items such as a tomahawk steak were listed that we hadn't even ordered. This made the calculation very confusing. Not only did we feel ripped off, but also like we weren't properly informed. In the future we will prefer to go to another restaurant nearby where we expect better value for money and more transparent communication.

We stopped by during our visit to Hamburg, unfortunately it did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and service. The employees were well-intentioned, but the quality of the food was far below our expectations.

Really tasty food. Needed a place that spoke english which luckily they had someone. They were really atentive checked up on me regularly. The food was really good big portions.

We ate there with our children, the food and service was top!👍🏼 it was by far the best Adana we have eaten and the hot sauce with yoghurt that was brought at the beginning was simply perfect. The next time we're in Hamburg we'll be happy to come back.

We were here 7 months ago. The breakfast was extremely tasty and we were thrilled. Now I came here again with my girlfriend for breakfast... dirty dishes, careless sideboards, stale looking and tasting food...unfortunately not worth 3 euros let alone 15...It's a shame...

Very quick preparation, large portions and very courteous service (Murat Y). The mixed grill plate can be seen in the picture, as well as the Böreki. There was bread and dip as a starter, and tea on the house after the meal. Will come back.

I decided on a kebab with veal for 7.50 euros. Price-performance ratio is simply great. Large kebab with plenty of meat, vegetables and sauce. The meat was well seasoned, the flatbread was crispy, but the highlight was the garlic sauce. It was spicy and had a lot of garlic in it, which I personally really like. I'll come back and try the other things too 👍

I went to Lades restaurant on July 2nd. I asked for Iskender. It was very cold and there was lettuce inside. The service was very slow and I had to wait 20 minutes because they forgot the dessert. It's not a restaurant I would recommend :(
