Wiederholt gut gegessen, allerdings bei mäßigem Service: Vom ersten Tisch, der nicht mal sauber war, weggeschickt worden. Zum zweiten Tisch kam leider keine Bedienung. Ich habe es dann selbst am Tresen bestellt.... War leider ein reines Abfertigen obwohl das Essen ganz schmackhaft war .

This lunchtime I went to the Lades Charcoal Grill Restaurant in Hamburg for lunch and tried three dishes: the kebab mix plate, lamb ribs and beyti. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the restaurant overall. The lamb ribs were disappointingly bland and consisted mostly of fat. The kebab mix plate was carelessly prepared and the lamb had little taste. The Beyti also didn't convince me and weren't particularly tasty. Given the 2,500 reviews and an average rating of 4.1 stars, I expected a lot more. We paid €70 for everything, including drinks, which makes the experience even more unsatisfactory. Overall, I would have expected much more from a restaurant with such positive reviews.

Ate a plate of kebab, there was very little meat and rice on it, it was diagonally opposite to the competition the day before, much better quality and a lot more meat, I wouldn't recommend Lades to you.

Long wait: There were four of us there, and three of us had already finished eating, while my colleague's kebab still wasn't served. Such a situation should not happen. When the overwhelmed waiter told the boss that some customers were very upset, he simply replied that he couldn't help it if the meat took longer. This is a kebab. This is really unprofessional. Never never never again

Worst service and unfriendly staff I have ever seen. Waited almost an hour, table was neither cleaned nor order taken. At the end we left the store and had slogans pressed into it. I will never visit this store again in my life!!!

At the beginning I wanted a normal Yufka. Then Lahmacun because there was no more Yufka. We were told that there was no lahmacun, only kebab plates. After almost an hour I got tired of it. So I got up and left. Employees were completely overwhelmed.

We waited an hour for 1 grill plate and 1 kebab plate, just wanted to leave when it finally came, well 0815 nothing special and very expensive in the picture above €16.50 for this small portion, there is much better. Sad but as long as they have enough customers it doesn't matter. It came right upside down on the plate after I ate a piece. I thought to myself why it tasted so charred, lo and behold, bad luck, the waiter said it was normal and didn't change it, so I didn't eat any more and told another waiter Instead of throwing it away, I take the food with me for my dog, so he didn't even bother to ask if it didn't taste good or oh, it's black... no insight at all... There is so much to criticize that I'll write it in bullet points -Overall, loud, dirty, chaotic -One waiter in particular was extremely arrogant, unfriendly, condescending - Ordering the food under time pressure, food arrived cold, several things were forgotten, waited about 50 minutes -The forgotten items were only brought after repeated requests -So we couldn't eat at the same time -no waiter came to the table again. We had to go to them for drinks -We didn't have dessert because no one cleared the table and we weren't asked -no dessert no tea -Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food -Price performance is not right at all -We sat at the back of the store, very stuffy, very warm -Toilets are very run down, dirty Conclusion Once and never again, absolutely not recommended I'd rather go to the snack bar next door and I'll probably be better served

There were 5 of us there. Lahmacun and pide were ok. However, the kebab was cold and the meatball plate consisting of 4 hard meatballs was very tasteless and carelessly prepared. Some of us got our food very late while the others were almost finished. Extra requests etc. Tea, was completely forgotten. The staff in general was more serious: the waiter was unfriendly and the guests seemed to be a nuisance to him. Conclusion: Meat dishes not recommended, and urgent improvement and training of the staff in dealing with customers.

We were eating with a group, after we ate with 6 people, one of them waited over an hour for his food, something like that doesn't work at all. This is very unprofessional - you either eat together or not at all. Appreciation and willingness to compromise after repeated attention do not appear.

Delicious meat, excellent pastries and strong Turkish tea in cups. The kebab turned out to be very spicy, but it was immediately processed.

Yesterday, May 31, 2024, I was eating at Lades. Half chicken with fries. Food was okay, not extremely much, didn't look warm. What was worse were the plates, they were very greasy on the edges. There was a light layer of grease on it. The waiters throw the washed cutlery into their drawers so that it can be heard throughout the restaurant. The cart for the empty plates is in the middle of the way and is also very dirty. I had to speak to the waiter about the bill, even though I had already had my wallet in my hand on the table for several minutes. I wanted to test the store after a report, but it's a shame it was the only and last time for me.

Today we came to Ladese, brother Turgut hosted us very well, the food was very nice, my friends and I were very pleased. Thank you very much to brother Turgut.

Yesterday was my first visit to a Turkish restaurant, unfortunately we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. The quality was not satisfactory, the food was cold/unseasoned and the portions were far too large, no one can eat this. The starters didn't come as ordered beforehand but only with the main course and two starters were even completely forgotten. Unfortunately not a recommended restaurant.

It is recommended. Doner tastes very good and the staff is friendly. It all happens pretty quickly.

Ate on site, chicken cold, fries cold, Ayran too salty but the Sprite was nice and cool. I know it much better there, which is a shame.

Ordered kebab with bulgur... I was actually really disappointed. At first it didn't come as pictured, with a Turkish salad, more like just leaf lettuce. I also liked the side dish with grilled tomatoes and green peppers...

Was here again today, April 30, 2024. Today I was informed that it is no longer possible to get half a chicken with a drink, I can get it but I have to pay for it like half a chicken with fries. Since I really wanted and was hungry for half a chicken, I ordered it. I specifically didn't have any side dishes. But bread was brought to the table. Didn't touch it. In the end I paid €10 for half a chicken and almost €13 with a 0.2 Coke. I don't really care about the price, but the fact that food is handed to you here, paid for and then ends up in the trash makes me stunned.

Solid food with room for improvement - 4 out of 5 stars Review: The food in the store is good, but the service left a lot to be desired that day. I give it 4 stars because the food alone almost saved the experience. Hopefully the service will be better next time you visit.

The breakfast was really not tasty - The selection at the breakfast buffet for a Sunday was far too little - A lot of things were cold/dry and most of them were from the day before. Simply never disappoints again

The place was pretty busy, busy and loud on a Saturday evening. The food was very good, just could have been a little warmer. Service was ok, the guys were quite stressed but fulfilled every wish. Absolutely OK for the price! Would definitely go again.

The store used to be really good. Now there were two of us there (a plate of kebab and half a chicken). There used to be free salad, ezme, tzatziki and bread in advance. We didn't get that. When asked, it was said that this is not included in our cheap dishes. But we can pay extra for it. At all other Turkish restaurants on Steindamm, a free starter of this type is standard. There was neither a plate for the bones nor a damp cloth to wipe your hands with half the chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was also very dry. We always enjoyed coming here as a group of up to six people. Now we're looking for another local bar on Steindamm.

Big disappointment. We had made a reservation there with friends to have a nice İftar. Unfortunately we had no choice except 5 menus, which we didn't even like. Dessert was biggest disappointment. I felt ripped off. One gets the impression that faith is being exploited to make more money. For that price, the menu wasn't even worth it. Fries only came when we said the third time. Also, the employees weren't friendly.

Even though we made a reservation in advance, unfortunately it was a terrible dinner. They limited the options during Ramadan. It was quite expensive, definitely not worth the price we paid. There was a very funny dessert on the menu. I definitely won't choose it again. I will advise my friends not to go either.

We were there for iftar (breaking the fast) and everything was beautifully prepared. But unfortunately we weren't allowed to decide for ourselves what we wanted to eat. We were basically forced to choose one of 5 menus. We weren't even allowed to decide whether we wanted rice or fries with it. We got rice with raisins (there wasn't even a question about whether anyone had an allergy). In addition, the meat was not tender. I wouldn't recommend anyone to break their fast there. The waiters were all overwhelmed. And it was also too expensive for the dishes.

Really disappointed. We booked specifically because we were coming from further away and were hoping to enjoy a relaxed Iftar with the family. However, one gets the impression that people are just exploiting their faith to rip off paying Muslim customers. Worse than Turkey. We only found out in the restaurant that there is hardly any choice. We were brought a soup and a salad (a plate in the middle that we had to share with 4 adults and 2 children), but we were only asked 4 minutes before iftar what we wanted to eat. We persuaded the waiter to bring us fries instead of rice. He agreed exceptionally, but didn't keep the promise. So we had to eat the rice that was far too dry with the little salad. Coupled with the far too few drinks (for 4 small bottles of water we were given 2 more, which however cost a whopping €5). The meat wasn't even cooked through, the dessert was totally inedible and even the Çay was only served lukewarm. Even the toilets were a disappointment. Hardly any soap, no way to dry your hands, sticky floor, defective urinals).

We had dinner there on Monday evening...very tasty...super nice staff...great conversations with the boss...we felt like we were in good hands and will definitely come back again when we are in Hamburg.
