A wonderful Indian restaurant in Goslar, just discovered today. We had Butter Chicken and Chicken Madras, both deliciously tender, and the bread and rice were delicious. Upon request, they even added a mixed salad. We were also impressed by the friendly service. The ambiance is beautifully decorated with beautiful colors and photos/pictures, Indian music, comfortable seating, and light thanks to the large windows. Everything is just perfect! Highly recommended, and the prices were very fair. We'll be back on our next visit to Goslar.

At the request of a dear friend, we tried the restaurant. Unfortunately, in terms of taste, it wasn't a place I would return to. There were three of us, and we ordered a total of seven different dishes, as well as three types of bread with dips – so we really sampled a cross-section of the menu. But the flavors simply lacked coherence. The breaded cheese was barely breaded, some dishes were significantly spicier than advertised, and the salty lassi with cumin took some getting used to for me personally. Taste is subjective, of course – others might like it just the way it is. The team was friendly and the service attentive – I'd like to emphasize that. But the culinary experience, unfortunately, wasn't coherent for me.

Indian food is always great, but this one is incredibly delicious. Very friendly and accommodating. The waiter even checked to make sure the table was stable and not wobbling (we sat outside). Highly recommended.

I've been there several times; the service has always been very friendly and accommodating, as well as very flexible. Recently, we ordered and had something delivered for the first time. A dish was delivered incorrectly, which can happen. It's given three stars because, unfortunately, the response to our "complaint" about the dish was not customer-oriented. We had to contact them several times to even receive a response, and were then offered a fraction of the price of the incorrectly delivered dish as compensation. Not a refund, but to be redeemed next time. A subsequent delivery of the dish we originally ordered would have been better, especially if you don't like or tolerate the food delivered. It's a shame.

The food tastes delicious, BUT it has happened several times that we were delivered the wrong food. While we once received new food, this time they claimed it was the food we ordered (despite clear photo evidence). After discussion, we received a €5 "voucher" for our next visit. Too bad they won't be offering this anymore.

The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and always tried their best to understand and communicate with us. When I got up, a waitress immediately came over and asked if I needed a room to change my daughter's diaper. Very accommodating. Our 2-year-old's meal was served early because she was whining, and the waitress very kindly tried to comfort our daughter. We all had vegetarian meals; there's a large selection, and we all enjoyed it very much. We ordered two mango lassis and even got one to take away after paying. We'd love to come back!

I really, really enjoyed it here :) The selection of dishes is large; there's even a double page with vegetarian/vegan options. The food was also delicious; you could have ordered rice and bread with the main course. The entire staff is very warm, friendly, and polite. We had a younger lady serving us who made a great effort. She was very prompt, gave us good advice, and answered our questions. We felt very comfortable. Only the request for a review seemed a bit pushy. I would have written one without being asked :)

We always enjoy coming here. The friendly young lady and the friendly young man serving the food, in particular, really went out of their way to make up for the small spinach faux pas. But when restaurants are so busy, minor mishaps can happen. That's human nature. We'll be happy to come back!

Totally awesome. Whenever I'm in Wolfsburg, I almost always go there for lunch. For €12, you can get a delicious meal with a small drink from the lunch menu. Sometimes you'll have to wait a bit, but if you have the time, it's definitely worth it!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had a platter for two with a soup to start, three different dishes, and a small dessert. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and both the drinks and the food arrived very quickly. We definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back :)

The music couldn't be understood, you could hear the conversations from the next table. There was a celebration next to us. Unfortunately, some guests felt disturbed by the children. We'll be back.

Good Indian food. Ambience can be better

We were a group of friends traveling in Germany and found this great Indian restaurant called Laddu Gopal. We were all hungry for something spicy and delicious, and this place was perfect. When we walked in, we were greeted with big smiles and the smell of fresh naan bread. We ordered a few dishes to share, like the chicken karahi, daal makhni,paneer jalfrezi and Garlic Naan. The food was amazing! The flavors were rich and real, and we got a lot of food. We were all full, but we couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The service was great too - our server was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. One of my friends, Rohan, loves food, and he was really impressed. He even asked the chef for the recipe! We went back to Laddu Gopal two more times during our trip, and it was just as good each time. If you're in Germany and want Indian food, you should definitely go to Laddu Gopal.

Food is good but can improve. Mango Lassi is a no go for me as they put some other things into it I prefer plain mango lassi which they also offer if asked for. Curries are good, but one bad thing is that the chef needs to know his curries. On one incident I got a bit salty curry so I asked for the change but what came next time was totally different in the taste, I could not taste any flavour or spices just some random gravy they put. Starters are good, a variety of them to offer. Overall a decent place to go since there are very few options available in Wolfsburg.
