La Vie in Tuttlingen

The salad was fresh and crisp. The tarte flambée was a convenience product, which I found disappointing. It was bland and expensive at almost €14. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all, the restaurant didn't impress me.

I've known La Vie in the beautiful Swabian town of Tuttlingen for over 13 years. Whether it's for a casual lunch, a business meeting, or a family celebration – La Vie is the place to be. The service is fabulous, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is incredibly delicious. The hot stone, in particular, has become a tradition for me and my family. "La Vie" is centrally located in a quiet area of ​​Tuttlingen and is very easy to find. The ambiance is elegant and modern, further enhanced by the excellent service, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the "rump steak on a hot stone," which is highly recommended! The daily menu is also very varied, as the name suggests, offering something different every day. All in all, a family-friendly and elegant restaurant in the heart of Tuttlingen.

In my opinion, this is one of Tuttlingen's long-standing favorites. The food is delicious, and the service is good.

Wow, just had a great meal. The pork chop was fantastic, the baked potatoes a bit less so. Good service as well.

We were cycling the Danube Cycle Path with 12 other cyclists and stopped for lunch at La Vie. We enjoyed the excellent service and excellent food together at our reserved table. Highly recommended.

We took a trip to Tuttlingen. Since our hotel was fully booked, we went looking for a restaurant. We finally found one at La Vie. It should have been a warning that the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night. We chose the pork steak with herb sauce and salad from the recommended menu. We had two pork loin steaks (two small dry schnitzels), an extra portion of fries, a 0.5 liter of mineral water, and a 0.4 liter of blackcurrant juice spritzer, and paid €50.80 for it. €20 too much for the quality. Never again

The breaded schnitzel tasted sour, the breading was very tough, and the meat itself was tough. The spaetzle were okay, and the salad was very good. The tarte flambée seemed like it came straight from a package. Unfortunately, the landlady didn't bother with the leftover schnitzel. I won't be going back.

I was there last Sunday with my child and grandchildren. Ms. Trettner welcomed me with appreciation. She has a wonderful way with her customers, even the little ones :-), and the food was of a very high standard – thanks to the kitchen! Ms. Trettner, it's a shame I live too far away to be able to enjoy your wonderful service and delicious dishes more often – you would have found a new lover for both in me… thank you very much :-)

Today was the first time and almost certainly the last time I went to the La Vie restaurant in Tuttlingen. First of all, the employees were very friendly and the waiting time was reasonable. Now about the food. Some of the salad was hardly made into small pieces, and large “lettuce hearts” were simply thrown carelessly onto the plate. Unfortunately, a bit of bread to dip with for the amount of sauce was also missing. (Which you could really have expected given the price). The salad tasted okay. Now to the main courses. I ordered an onion roast with fries and vegetables for just under €30. After being served, I could barely cut the meat. At first I thought it was because of the unsharp knife, but when I tried the first bite, it was clear that it wasn't ONLY because of the unsharp knife but also because the meat had been fried for far too long. I complained about the meat and the knife 😅. I was then asked in a friendly manner whether I would like a sharp knife or a new roast. I said I wanted a new roast. That's what happened, I got a new roast, but this time it was still raw (and no, it wasn't very bloody, it was raw!) When the waitress came back and asked if everything was okay, I didn't say anything else. In addition, the few vegetables (maybe 5 forks) that were served were definitely a mix of vegetables from the freezer and at a price of €30, it was simply a disgrace. The Maultaschen that came from the wholesale market were okay. Not homemade, but ready-made stuff that you simply throw into the pan, which doesn't come close to justifying the price of €15. With a bit of thrown-on salad, which again wasn't cut into small pieces at all, and both main courses were almost unseasoned. All in all, the visit to the restaurant was very disappointing and quite a waste.

Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: Salatteller für knapp 18€ und noch nicht malmein Stück Brot dabei. Tiefkühlgemüse. Bestenfalls durchschnittlich im Geschmack. Man sitzt recht nett draußen, sonst absolut keine Empfehlung.

We were at La Vie for dinner and received a friendly welcome and attentive service. There was also a reasonable wait for drinks and food and a short chat with the waitress. Very tasty dressing on the side salad and the portion of pancakes with vegetables was more than sufficient. Keep it up 👍😊

Food was OK. Fried potatoes were rather warm potatoes, barely fried. Onions were missing. The pork steak was self-roasted. This wasn't obvious from the map. The frying stone splattered everything with grease, including my new white dress - which is now ruined. The idea of ​​experience gastronomy is quite nice, but you should let the guests choose whether they want this. Service was quick and the waiting time was short thanks to the self-roasting. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Im La Vie findet man einen super Service und ein tolles Speisenangebot, bei dem wirklich jeder etwas findet. Zudem ist die Gastgeberin sehr nett. Da Essen war lecker. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Leckerer Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis.

Super Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Sehr nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Die Cocktails sind fantastisch. Nur schade, dass das Restaurant direkt an der Straße liegt, allerdings nicht zu stark befahren. Doch der kleine Biergarten wertet es wieder auf.

Chefin, einschließlich Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und haben sich auch wirklich gut um uns gekümmert. Geschmack und Preis top.

Mittagessen war lecker, letztens brunchen, war reichhaltig und große Auswahl, nur etwas teurer, aber bei der Auswahl geht es.

Essen war ok, aber für 28€ steak und 5 € spätzle die aus der Mikrowelle kam und fast ohne Geschmack sind, war es wiederum enttäuschend. Für dieses Geld kann sehr gut wo anderst essen

Das Essen war ganz ok , nicht mehr und nicht weniger..Unser Geschmack war leider nicht getroffen , wir waren zu dritt, aber über Geschmack kann man sich ja bekanntlich streiten..die Wirtin und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und das Ambiente war auch gemütlich

Käsespätzle sind nicht zu empfehlen Discounter Nudeln verkocht und undefinierbare Pampe vermutlich streng riechender käse. Ich habe das vor 1 Jahr schon einmal gegessen und zurück gegeben. Januar 23 genau so schlimm. Nichts dazu gelernt. Meine Frau hat Steaks gegessen und meinte das sie okay sind.

Im La Vie war ich nun das erste Mal. Der Anlass war traurig, aber die Lokalität war gut. Das Essen war für einen Oberpfälzer wie mich ungewöhnlich aber lekker. Der Service war sehr nett und auch sehr aufmerksam. Insgesamt kann man sagen das die Zufriedenheit der in meiner Gruppe anwesenden Besucher hergestellt wurde. Allerdings war die Anfahrt etwas weit. 😉

Immer wieder montags - werden wir herzlich empfangen und kulinarisch umsorgt. Gemütliches Ambiente, spontane Reservierungen, schnelle Bedienung und gutes Essen sind Teil des Restaurants.

Das Restaurant macht optisch einen guten Eindruck, die Bedienung war zuerst auch freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak vom heißen Stein mit Gemüse bestellt das auch zeitnah angemessen an den Tisch kam. Auf der Karte wurde das Steak mit leckeren Dips angepriesen, leider war dann letzten Endes nur billiger Ketchup, einfache Majo und tiefgefrorene Kräuterbutter bei. das Gemüse war total verkocht und schlecht gewürzt. Die Kräuterbutter war hart wie ein Stein, weswegen ich den Service informierte. Man hat die Kräuterbutter dann in der Mikrowelle stark erhitzt und diese Flüssig serviert, als ich sagte dass das nicht akzeptabel sei wurde der Service richtig unverschämt und stellte mich hin als hätte ich zu hohe Erwartungen - für mich das letzte mal, selten wurde ich so unverschämt behandelt!

Wir hatten Maultaschensuppe und Bratkartoffeln bestellt gehabt. Die Bedienung war nett und flott. Portionen waren gut und es hat gut geschmeckt.

Sehr schöner Außenbereich. Mittagstisch, auch vegetarisch.

Wir haben die schwäbische Hausmannskost gewählt und waren zufrieden. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis war für die Speißen in Ordnung. Von Steakhaus würden wir allerdings etwas anderes erwarten. Das Personal war freundlich, aber nicht sonderlich kompetent und konnte auf Fragen zu den Speißen erst auf Nachfrage in der Küche eine Auskunft geben. Schnelligkeit war auch nicht die Stärke der Bedienung. Das Ambiente des Lokals und des Außenbereichs ist nicht allzu einladend. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und hatten das Lokal zufällig gefunden, da sonst in Tuttlingen alle anderen Lokalitäten leider Ruhetag hatten.

Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Ja, die Bedienung ist freundlich. Auch die Lage des Restaurants in der City von Tuttlingen ist perfekt. Leider kann das Essen dem aber nicht gerecht werden. Wir hatten La Vie Salat (schmeckte leider nicht frisch, wirkte abgestanden) und Putensteak vom heißen Stein (sah gut aus, schmeckte aber nach nichts). Möglicherweise hatten wir nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Aber ein zweites Mal wollten wir dort nicht essen gehen.

Wir konnten trotz eines Regenschauers gemütlich außen sitzen Gegessen haben wir Maultaschen mit Salat und ein Schwabenpfännle Man kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen Alles hat gepasst

Wer mal satt werden will und regionale Küche mag ist hier richtig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder. M und B aus der Sauerland
