La Vecchia Osteria in Völklingen

I'm very disappointed. Actually it was one of our regular pizzeria 🍕 but I was very disappointed with the last promotion. After a long performance by our girls we went to the pizzeria to get pizza. My little one wanted pasta with shrimp and we big ones ordered pizza. I was there with my two girls and the little one was offered a slice of salami and the sister next door wasn't. When the sister asked if she could have a slice of salami, she was told that the little sister should have shared with her the small slice of salami that was already on the edge. That was it. Then when we were out the bag broke with the noodles in it and they saw it and asked me to come back because the noodles were completely on the floor and they would make me new ones for my daughter. I thanked them for that and they asked me to go to the toilet to wash my hands because I was trying to at least get the food on the floor out of the way so that no one had to walk over it. They prepared the food and then a man who worked there who had previously collected money came and asked me again to pay the €12 for the pasta. I did this but found it quite rude, especially since it was actually our regular pizzeria. Something so unfriendly. When we got home the surprise was that the noodles were so spicy that they were inedible, too strongly seasoned despite being told that it wasn't suitable for a small daughter. We will avoid this pizzeria in the future.

Ate a steak today. By far one of the best, great meat. All the other dishes were really good too. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Absolutely recommended, we will be back.

Before today I was actually really excited about the pizzeria, unfortunately everything has changed today. Firstly pizza was pretty dry Spaghtwii for my little one with tomato sauce and a few shrimps was very spicy, unfortunately inedible. Then when we went out the door, we dropped the noodles and were forced to pay. In that case, we could have just been kind and made a new one and left it at that, not the same price again, especially since we are regular customers and always order there. Unfortunately I have to tighten the points for this, which is a shame.

A salad, bruschetta, pizza and a pasta dish were ordered. Salad was absolutely fine and tasty, even if it had ingredients that weren't on the menu. Bruschetta was absolutely top and really very tasty and beautifully prepared. The bitter disappointment came with the main course. The pizza was initially neutral in taste, so you could have put the pizza box on the table. Really completely without any taste. Dough without spices, almost no tomato sauce on it, so it was very dry and without spices. The noodles were basically swimming in the sauce and were completely mushy. But the taste is good average. Atmosphere chic. What was noticeable, as in other reviews, was that there were a lot of fruit flies in the restaurant, although it seemed clean. However, there is an unpleasant aftertaste when you move something and a swarm of flies rise up.

Had very tasty pizza and pasta. We sat outside. It was nice under big umbrellas. It's close to the street, but still cozy. We would come back.

While looking for a location, I came across this great Italian here in Völklingen. I can really recommend it to everyone! Quality and service are VERY important here!!! 👌👌👌 Super fair prices and very friendly employees. 👍👍👍 On my next visit, I look forward to eating here again.

It was very good. Arg. Steak super tasty. The pizza was also super good and big. Salad very good and enough for 2 people as a starter Price-performance is right. We will be back

We had a very nice evening and finally once again a service that takes its customers seriously. Starter and main course were very good. The dessert was really inadequate. We explained to the employee why. He thanked us for our explanation and, no matter what, the dessert wasn't included in the bill. It was really great how they responded. We'd love to come back.

Food: 5/5 We had bruschetta and crostini as a starter, and as a main course we had Tagiatelle a la chef (fresh pasta with Emmental cheese and cream) and Bisteca alla Pizzaiola (steak with tomato sauce, pepperoni, capers, anchovies and garlic). Everything tasted to a high standard and the portions were large (we took some home with us). As a greeting from the kitchen there was fresh white bread with butter and olives. Service: 5/5 Italian waitresses who served French guests at the neighboring table in German, Italian and French. Polite, always within sight, asked several times whether everything was satisfactory. They provided us with a table in the corner so that our dog could lie in peace. Ambiance: 4/5 Tiled large room, spruced up with a few pictures from Italian films. Seemed a bit old-fashioned, but the music created a pleasant atmosphere. As domestic tourists, this restaurant hit the spot taste-wise and we'll be happy to come back should we be in the area.

Sehr leckeres Essen im Restaurant genossen. Vor allem die Bruschetta und die Tagliatelle Salmone waren absolut überzeugend. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir wieder.

Run by actual Italians, which is a big plus for an Italian restaurant. Authentic atmosphere, delicious (and big) pizzas, and great service.

Hatten einen Tisch vor der Tür. An jedem Tisch an dem Essen serviert wurde,kam ein Mückenschwarm. War wirklich ekelig und nervig. Als Maßnahme stand ein Teelicht auf dem Tisch. Der Calamari war zu glasig,hatte etwas mehr in der Pfanne bleiben können. Das Steak war innen wie gekocht...Die Pizza war mega lecker, dafür würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Für den Rest leider nicht 😔 Service war okay....

Der Besuch hat sich sehr gelohnt. Das Essen war super, wir hatten ein Salat vorweg und dann zweimal Fisch. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben mit mehreren Personen für fast 100€ bestellt, die Lieferung war in weniger als 30 Minuten da, super! Leider war niemand mit seinem Essen zufrieden. Die Pizza Diavolo war in Ordnung, Spaghetti Carbonara war mega buttrig und ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Das Schnitzel war ebenfalls nicht gut, die Soße wässrig und die Pommes null gewürzt. Sehr schade, wir hätten gerne woanders bestellt und werden dort auch nicht mehr ordern.

Gemütliches Ambiente, ausgewogene Speisekarte, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Egal ob Insalata Manzo, Saltimbocca alia Romana oder Pizza 🍕 Tonno... am Wochenende oder an Feiertagen ist eine Reservierung sinnvoll. Alles in allem ein Besuch wert.

Heute, Pizza, rahmschnitzel,Spaghetti und wienerschnitzel bestellt. Das Essen war so schnell da, da war schon klar das was nicht stimmt. Die Pizza hatte einen extrem dünnen Boden der vollgesogen mit fett war, somit war der Teig schlimmer wie ein Stück Leder und es hat fürchterlich geschmeckt(Man kann nicht von Geschmack reden) Das Rahmschnitzel und die riggatoni waren nicht durch, ich weiß nicht was das war, sauce war das aber keine. Mir ist es vergangen, das war das letzte mal, wieder 50 Euro im Müll. Ich weiß nicht ob die einen neuen Koch haben, falls ja, würde ich ihn kündigen. Normalerweise rufen wir wenn was nicht stimmt an, ich bin aber so genervt. Sonntagabend, Essen bestellt und jetzt muss man doch selbst kochen. Kleiner Tipp, holt euch einen neuen Koch oder wenn dieser überfordert ist, stellt noch einen ein. Echt schade

Freundlich und sehr sauber ! Auf der Pizza frische Produkte ! Rigatoni und Tortellini leider ohne Geschmack! Im gesamten Preis sehr hoch für das Gebotene! Einziges plus weswegen ich drei Sterne gab ist die Frische der Zutaten

Erfrischender Salat und guten richtig italienischen Pizztateig . Nicht zu aufdringliches, angenehmes Personnal . Gehe mal wieder dort hin .

An sich schöne Einrichtung und gute Pizza. Wir haben vorweg Bruschetta genommen, was allerdings ziemlich salzig war. Außerdem waren die Kellner beide ziemlich kurz angebunden, haben uns am Anfang Brot mit Knoblauchbutter hingestellt ohne was zu sagen oder zu erklären was sie uns da bringen (Gefahr für Allergiker?) und an sich auch mehr mit den Stammgästen geplaudert als nach uns zu schauen. Ein ziemlich seltsamer Besuch, der Preis ging aber und wie gesagt war die Pizza echt gut.

Service in Ordnung. Tagliatelle Soße ziemlich geschmacksneutral. Bologneseschnitzel sahen die Schnitzel aus wie Fabrikware. Dafür war es einfach zu teuer.

Sehr gutes Steak, perfekt gegrillt. Freundlicher Service und kühle Getränke.
