Yesterday, three of us spontaneously went to La Taverna in Kempten without a reservation and didn't wait more than 10 minutes – even though the restaurant was packed. The food was incredibly good, super fresh, and truly delicious – an 11 out of 10 for me! 🤩🇮🇹 The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt at home. Sure, it was a bit noisy due to the large number of guests, but that just shows how popular the restaurant is. 🍝🍷 Conclusion: Highly recommended – if I'm ever in Kempten again, I'll definitely go there for dinner! 🙌 Compliments for the food and service, we felt like we were in Italy ❤️🥰

We ordered there today with great anticipation and were more than disappointed. My Rigattoni Al Forno was not good at all. For 14.90, I got a few pasta dishes with three huge pieces of broccoli that were way too hard and mushrooms from a jar that were truly disgusting. For that price, they could have at least made the effort to add three fresh mushrooms. The sauce was very spicy. That had nothing to do with Al Forno. Very unappealing. The pizza was extremely greasy and not worth the price. You'd expect something different from the previous restaurant. The food is completely overpriced, and at the snack bar, you can at least get something more appetizing for half the price.

We had the mixed antipasti platter, the spaghetti gamberini, the rigatoni di forno, and the tiramisu. Above all, we loved the Nero d'Avola wine. All in all, excellent food and drink, and the service was very attentive to our needs. 5 stars thoroughly deserved.

We were already regular customers under the previous owner. Since the change of owner, we've eaten here several times, and what can we say? It tastes wonderful - the food is really delicious!! Today we had pizza. The crust is great, I even eat the crust here - the toppings were just right - it was very fine. The mixed salad is always great, and we also really like the pasta dishes here (with the penne arrabiata, you can also order it "with a kick" if you like it that way - I got mine perfectly cooked back then - but be careful - it's really hot!!). We are vegetarians and find a lot of options here. The espresso is also good here. The welcome is always very warm, and they make a lot of effort to make you feel comfortable as a guest and provide attentive service. There's a small terrace in the courtyard, and in the summer, it's a wonderful place to sit outside and eat. We still recommend it!

A nice, cozy restaurant with a lovely terrace. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine recommendation (La Torre Sangue du Giuda red wine) was an absolute taste experience. A lovingly decorated, old-school Italian restaurant with great food and incredibly friendly staff. We had pizza, pasta, salads, various appetizers, and dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. Light pizza dough, perfect pasta, excellent vitello tonnato, and crispy, fresh bruschetta. We especially enjoyed the tiramisu. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. We couldn't have been happier.

We were a bit skeptical at first, as the place had recently changed owners. On Friday evening, we spontaneously managed to get a spot for four people outside in perfect weather. Drinks and food arrived in no time. We all enjoyed the food. The service was also excellent.

If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, a family atmosphere, and excellent service, this is the place for you. Definitely one of my best dining experiences in a long time. 5 out of 5 stars – with a star!

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:15 p.m., waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and had to wait a full 1.5 hours for the food. There was no apology or question about whether everything was okay. Despite numerous errors in the execution of our order, the manager still spoke to us very rudely. I've never experienced such behavior in a restaurant before. Absolutely not recommended!

Several of us came to eat with someone else. The restaurant was almost empty, yet we still waited over 30 minutes just for drinks. The food arrived after 1.5 hours, with appetizers coming after the main courses. Some of the orders were incorrect. The manager was very rude, and there was neither an apology nor an explanation. I've never experienced such behavior before. I'll never see this restaurant again. I've never experienced anything like this before. Guests are simply brushed off here.

Unfortunately, I waited 1.5 hours for the food, and it was only lukewarm. The food was particularly delicious, so I don't understand the 4.7 stars.

As soon as you enter the bright, newly designed entrance, you can tell that there's a new owner. We felt very well looked after as a family. The staff was friendly and even accommodated all our special requests. The pizzas were delicious, and all the other dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly suited to our tastes. I think the new meal times are a good fit, allowing us to enjoy lunch on the quiet terrace in the middle of town, or to order with the family as early as 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 4:00 p.m. Thank you very much. We'll be back.

The service and quality of the food are important to the new operator and seem to be expanding this further. I'm curious how flexible he is with it in the evenings when there are no reservations. A real taste experience! The salmon was fried to perfection - crispy on the outside, wonderfully tender on the inside. The vegetables were fresh, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. You can taste that the cooking here is done with love and quality. The atmosphere is also cozy and the service is very friendly. I would particularly like to emphasize how child-friendly the team is - our little ones were warmly welcomed and felt completely at home. I will definitely come back – absolute recommendation!

Incredibly delicious food. The food (steak, bruschetta, salad, antipasti, tiramisu) was without exception fabulous and the waiters were very personable and always tried to fulfill our every wish as best they could, even if it wasn't on the menu. War 4 Tage in Kempten und besuchte dieses Lokal 2x. Die Karte ist italienisch und beide Essen waren vorzüglich, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Lokalambiente sehr angenehm und typisch. Kann diese Ristaurante bestens weiter empfehlen !!!

Waren mal wieder bei unserem Kurzurlaub in der La Taverna essen und sehr zufrieden. Die Pizza, so wie wir sie mögen, mit dünnem knusprigem Boden und nicht zuviel Käse. Sehr viele Sorten zur Auswahl, in groß oder klein. Die Tagliatelle mit Wildlachs und die Spaghetti in der Folie-einfach ein Genuss. Die Krönung hinterher ist ein Tiramisu. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir können la Taverna nur empfehlen. Reservierung empfohlen

Von außen nicht besonders einladend. Davon sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Wenn man das Lokal betritt kommt das Flair und der Service und die Küche sind top.

Auf den ersten Blick sieht es unscheinbar aus, klein und fein. Eine sehr schöne Pizzeria. Wie soll man es beschreiben wenn alles gepasst hat? Bedienung freundlich und kompetent und schnell, die Speisen kann man nicht mit lecker beschreiben. Man kann sagen wie bei Mama in Italien. Also ich selbst habe schon tolle Sachen gegessen aber gestern war mal wieder ein so Erlebnis wo man sagt Gaumen Schmaus. Also ein super Tipp für Kempten. Immer gerne wieder. Und das wichtigste habe ich vergessen. Der Preis ist der Hammer. Leider hatten wir keine Fotos gemacht Leider.

Ich bin immer wieder sehr angetan. Für mich eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in Kempten. Und damit meine ich nicht nur Pizzas und Pasta. Hier stimmt alles. Auch immer wieder ein gleichbleibend netter Service und im Sommet ist es schön, auch mal draussen im Innenhof sitzen zu können. Wenn's recht voll ist, oder Gruppen beim Essen sitzen, kanns zwar schon mal laut im Gewölbe werden, aber das Essen entschädigt. Wir lieben es! Preis-Leistung stimmt!
