We were there for the first time yesterday because the reviews were or are very good - rightly so!! The food was delicious, we had chicken skewer, Adana grill, fillet and Turkish tortelini (manti). Ate everything empty. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had some tea at the end and left satisfied and full.. I'll be happy to come back.. Thank you very much..

We ate a T-bone steak and a mixed grill plate. The steak (dry aged) was so delicious that it pretty much overshadowed the grilled plate. So if you like steak, here is a Helal alternative that has it all. Absolutely recommended! The steak on the hot Himalayan salt stone is really a highlight. Remove the salt after a few minutes, otherwise it will quickly become too salty. The owners are very warm and do everything to ensure your well-being. The kebab is a yaprak kebab, i.e. real meat. Very very tasty!!! Thank you very much for everything.

Today I went to the restaurant spontaneously and, since all the tables were occupied, I picked up a kebab in bread and one homemade ayran. I think €9.80 is very fair and reasonable: 1 cup of fresh Ayran (wonderful foam) and 1x kebab in flatbread with sauce and salad. The meat was great today - as always here. This is sliced ​​meat - seasoned/marinated for a long time. This is how I like doner kebab. Since you unfortunately only get “meat from the kebab rotisserie,” I’m grateful that you get something very good here.

Yesterday the two of us ordered a grill plate for two people. The menu said “(plenty)”, and now I’ll explain what that meant: 1. You get a huge plate of fries 2. The bottom of the grill plate was completely overfilled with bulgur and rice. Sure, plenty of filler. 3. In the grill plate itself we found: - 1x Adana skewer - 2x kofta - 3x tablespoons of veal kebab (no joke, that was really counted) - 3x small pieces of lamb fillet - 2x medium chicken fillets So we had to eat our fill of fries, rice and the bread from the starter, willy-nilly. The restaurant itself? Nothing special, neither in terms of spices nor in taste. It tastes the same or even better somewhere else. And that for €60 with 2 cokes? The best thing for last: A waiter almost shouted our ears off when he asked if everything was okay. 😂

On Saturday evening we sat at La Savi and placed a large order. The waiter, very accommodating and entertaining, started the evening perfectly for us. You immediately felt comfortable. Due to our large order and a large number of visitors, there was a slightly longer waiting time, but this wasn't a problem for us due to the mood and ambience there. The manager was very accommodating and made our wait easier with a plate of the layered kebab meat that they make themselves! Great, I've never had it before! I felt like a guest here and not like a customer who eats something and then leaves. About the food: We had a mixed grill platter for 3 people on the recommendation of the house, very tender and well prepared food 5 stars! At the end there was dessert and tea on the house. I actually know the manager from my childhood days, as the family ran a bakery in Duisburg. Even back then, they were always courteous and very pleasant. Even if you didn't have the right change with you! I can highly recommend this high quality restaurant. See you next time!

Fantastic service, incredibly friendly staff and the most delicious meal! They were accommodating even with our attempts to speak German! The chicken was tender, lamb was flavoursome and it was clear the quality of meat was very high. The salads were also really tasty, the dressing made it.

Never again ! Describe my experience here. After I ordered 2 Turkish coffees, the coffee came without water in a rude manner. Coffee was a suspension like sand. I asked whether this coffee was made with a machine or manually with "cezve" and they replied with Manuel. I paid for the coffee without drinking it (2 x 2.50 = 5 euros) and a receipt or invoice only came after I asked for it. On the street I was approached by a person who pretended to be the owner and spoke Turkish in the Bulgarian dialect. He asked why I didn't find the coffee tasty. I said that I didn't get Turkish coffee and the review is on Google. They sell fake Turkish coffee and if you are not satisfied they become aggressive. In the presence of the police, they talked about the fact that I don't have to forget that it is Hochfeld there. Why Hochfeld, Duisburg Hochfeld belongs to Germany and you have to adhere to German laws. It shouldn't be the case that you have to leave a restaurant with police surveillance.

Actually, I just wanted to quickly satisfy my hunger during my lunch break, but what was served at La Savi knocked my socks off. The lentil soup was perfectly seasoned and it came with freshly baked bread. The Ayran is prepared here in-house and has a consistency like whipped cream. I've never gotten anything like this anywhere and from now on I'll never be able to drink a plastic cup ayran again. La Savi comes in at number 1 on my list of restaurant favorites in Duisburg.

We visited the steakhouse and were very impressed. The steaks were just perfect, juicy and full of flavor. The service was great, the waiters were super pleasant and friendly. The restaurant itself would have earned 4 stars if the service and treatment of the guests were good. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not particularly child-friendly. Although there are high chairs for small children, we were rudely asked by the boss that our children should be quieter. It was the last visit for us.

I ordered the mixed grill plate, I think it cost €21.90. In my opinion the meatballs weren't done, but the waitress thought they were, but they were ok. ADANA is a must on a grill plate, I was missing it, when I asked the waitress I was told that they wanted to make it quickly, so it was shaped like a meatball (the waiting time was over 30 minutes)! This was of course a lie, which I found quite disrespectful! If this is Adana, where are my meatballs? Well, shortly after I was full, she came with my Adana and put it in front of me. Too late. Was full. The food was okay, but I've eaten much better. For dessert I ordered Katmer. Which just didn't taste good. In the photo you can see how bright it is above, inside it was worse. Whether that was really pistachios, I have no idea. So I personally won't go there again.

We are traveling to Duisburg for the first time. We passed La Savi while looking for dinner. Even the first look in the restaurant at the aging cabinets with the delicious steaks made us curious. We then sat down outside and studied the menu and decided on a kebab plate with salad, fries and ayran. It was the very best Ayran we have ever drunk. Handmade and really very refreshing. The kebab plate left nothing to be desired. Absolutely fresh salad and meat that just nailed it. The service was also very, very nice and just rounded everything off. At the end we had a very nice chat with the manager of the house. It's wonderful to meet a restaurateur with heart and soul. Thank you for the lovely stay
