Very tasty, I can only recommend

Our visit to Laza was extremely disappointing. We traveled over 100 km specifically because the opening hours were advertised as being until 10:00 pm. We arrived around 6:30 pm, and a table was even cleared for us. We sat down, and our order was taken. However, after about 5-10 minutes, a waitress came to inform us that there was definitely not enough meat and that our order was therefore being canceled entirely. This was already annoying, especially considering the long journey – but what happened next was absolutely unacceptable. We were originally a party of seven, and two more joined us shortly after. When they wanted to use the restroom to wash their hands for hygiene reasons, they were mocked, with the comment that you don't need to wash your hands when you eat a doner kebab. Such behavior is disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely incomprehensible from a hygiene perspective. Overall, a very bad experience – neither the organization nor the treatment of guests was acceptable. The long journey was unfortunately completely in vain.

I went to La Savi restaurant and ordered a doner kebab plate. The food was delicious, the meat was well-seasoned, and the portion was more than generous. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. A particularly nice feature is that all students with a valid student ID get a discount on doner kebabs. This makes La Savi not only delicious but also very student-friendly. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

When we asked where we could leave our stroller, they told us, "Outside the door, but there's no room anywhere else." Sure, of course I'd leave the stroller unattended outside the door. 🙃 Second situation TODAY! December 14, 2025 My child needed a diaper change. I asked the woman in the restaurant if I could use the restroom, and she told me, "It's only for customers; please go somewhere else." Form your own opinion, but just because of this child-unfriendly attitude, I would avoid this place for life!

La Savi impresses every time, both on-site and with deliveries. Everything arrives fresh, and the doner meat is genuine, high-quality doner meat, the likes of which are hard to find around here. A truly excellent restaurant.

First they sat us down at the table, and then asked us to leave because they were having a banquet. It felt like there was no communication between the staff.

We ordered two grilled platters and had to wait almost an hour, which I accept. However, when the cutlets had a very strong odor that had been lingering outside for days, we couldn't eat them. Furthermore, the owner or staff weren't accommodating, and it was outrageous that we were allowed to take the stinking cutlets home with us. I would never recommend this place to anyone, neither myself nor my family.

We ate here (dinner) during the Christmas market. We received a warm welcome, they helped us with our menu planning, and even helped with translation. The food was truly delicious, and there was plenty to eat. It wasn't expensive. I definitely recommend stopping by!

A perfect evening! We stumbled upon LaSavi by chance. We made a reservation in person on Saturday morning and received a warm welcome in the evening. A table right in the middle of the pedestrian zone, and during the Christmas market no less – simply amazing! Very friendly staff and excellent advice. The homemade salad dressing, the homemade bread, and the dips were a true culinary delight. The main course offered a little bit of everything, all perfectly prepared. They were immediately attentive to the needs of arriving guests. Thank you for the tea at the end. Even though we, as visitors from Lake Constance, will probably only be back next year, we can wholeheartedly recommend you.

The service is excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately, the doner meat was very tough, sometimes very dry, and had lots of fatty pieces. The price was just under 14.90, and in our case, we had extra meat. We didn't get any extra bread, which I found a shame, but that's okay. However, I definitely can't recommend the doner meat. The other dishes all looked very good, but I can't comment on the taste.

I absolutely cannot understand how anyone can give this place 5 stars. Either these people have never eaten steak or the reviews are all fake. I have never eaten such a bad meal (not eaten it all, of course)! Firstly, they were out of rump or fillet steak, even though it wasn't that late. Secondly, there was leftover butter on the bread we were given for the dips. So they didn't serve us fresh steak, but leftovers from previous customers. Then they recommended the Rip-Eye. The worst experience of my life so far! Not to mention the restrooms. You have to climb the stairs, but it's like walking through a normal hallway and not a restaurant. And then, once you get upstairs, there aren't even separate areas for men and women. And to top it all off, the kitchen is right next door. I didn't dare take a look inside. The look of the door alone intimidated me. (I wish I had taken a picture.) I will never set foot in this store again and cannot recommend it to anyone!!!

We had dinner at La Savi in Duisburg with a group of 8. Most of us ordered filet steaks, but the cooking levels were completely off — medium came out medium rare, and mine (medium rare) was almost raw. The service was very slow, and although the meat quality wasn’t bad, the overall experience was disappointing. The only good thing was the spicy appetizer they served at the beginning. We paid around €370 for 8 people, which didn’t feel worth it. One more thing to note: they serve the steaks on a marble-like salt block. Be careful — it keeps cooking and over-salting the meat. It’s better to move your steak onto the wooden board right away.

We prefer medium but not raw, and I have to say: The medium-well or medium-plus was cooked to perfection. No blood, but a nice pink tinge and only on the inside. Excellent! A simple but delicious salad with a roll dressing and fried potatoes topped the whole thing. No, seriously, everything was great except for the upscale seating. These were opened after we arrived. We were also very early, which is something to be said. We'd love to come back and try the 1.2 kg T-bone! Oh, and the service was really great. The young woman gave us great tips on choosing the right cut of meat, and the recommended dessert was truly excellent! The name was Katmer Tatlisi. Correct me if I'm wrong. A restaurant that fully deserves this rating. The bread with various dips and the salad for the starter were already outstanding, but the rib-eye steak on a salt stone topped it all off. I've rarely eaten something so good. You can tell the chef knows what he's doing. Definitely recommended.

The ayran was the best we've ever had...homemade and fresh...really good...the food was outstanding...the doner kebab plate made with young bull meat was top-notch...after studying the rest of the menu, we knew we'd be going to La Savi more often. But be careful...appearances aren't what you're after...so if you want a schnitzel, La Savi isn't the place for you. If you like typical Turkish cuisine and great steaks, you should definitely try La Savi.
