La Pizzeria da Francesco in Wesel

All you need to know about this place are the following: -Eating in is possible, but not really recommended. The restaurant is geared more towards takeout, as there are only four seats, and they aren't particularly comfortable. -This is the first pizza place in a long time that's run exclusively by *real* Italians. You can feel it immediately—the music, the atmosphere, etc. Everything is just right. The three men take their craft very seriously and make every pizza you order a culinary delight. Impressive! -The prices for the two standard sizes are sensationally low, in my experience, and they taste significantly more expensive than you'd expect. Ordering whole trays for parties, etc., is also possible, but you'll definitely notice the price difference. Given the quality of the ingredients and preparation, that's hardly surprising. Conclusion: The restaurant itself definitely has room for improvement in terms of seating and ambiance. But their core competency (Italian cuisine) is outstanding. True Italian master craftsmanship that I'd gladly go out and pick up myself. On gloomy evenings, a pizza from this place chases away all your worries. Best regards to the team. The atmosphere was a disaster. I wanted to eat there in peace, but after two slices of pizza, I had them pack it up and ate it at the hotel. It was purely about getting by, far from enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the quality of the pizzas has declined significantly. It seems to depend on which pizza chef is working at the time. My Funghi was watery (undercooked). The Frutti di Mare was topped with sashimi! Absolutely unacceptable. And to top it all off, the Diavola was simply topped with bell peppers. That's completely out of place. Now I can no longer recommend what used to be my favorite pizzeria in Wesel. What a shame.

Top pizzeria, super friendly staff, pizza is amazing, but if they also work on the ambiance it's a 1+ or it's a concept of minimalism.

It's very close to "pizza like in Italy" 😍 We really liked the tomato sauce. We travel to Italy regularly and know what we're talking about 🥰✨ The only downside was that the pizza crust was greased in a few places, which was only the case in a few places.

I highly recommend Pizzeria Da Francesco! I had the best tortellini with ham and cream sauce of my life here; it was simply divine, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The pizza is also a dream: truly authentic, with a thin, crispy crust and fresh ingredients, the kind you'd only find in Italy. The team is super friendly and makes you feel at home right away. For me, this is the best place if you're craving truly good Italian cuisine!

Had a fantastic Italian meal! At an Italian takeaway. They have two tables, but the takeaway is constantly flowing! I had the best spaghetti Bolognese in Western Europe! And two wonderfully enthusiastic staff (owners)!!!

The shop gives the impression of serving authentic Italian pizza, which is why my expectations were very high. When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted by very friendly employees. Unfortunately, I wasn't so impressed with the pizza I ordered to go. While the varieties offered are very appealing, the dough was unfortunately very dry on two attempts and had little flavor. Unlike what you're used to in most Italian restaurants. The pizza isn't bad, but it doesn't stand out from other popular pizzerias in Wesel.

We were on vacation in Wesel and were greeted with a very friendly smile at this pizzeria. It was very busy, but we were still served friendly. The food was delicious and I highly recommend it! The chairs are unfortunately very uncomfortable, but okay.

Great pizza dough, amazing rolls, super tasty herb butter. 👌 My tuna pizza was unfortunately too salty, and that was actually due to the canned tuna. Since we were eating in, I was immediately offered a replacement. 👌 But what I don't understand is, if you make such a great pizza, why don't you adapt the ambiance in front of the counter to match? Because inviting looks different. Is there a woman missing from the team? A bit of color, a few pictures from home, two or three nice standing tables with stools, a few nice napkins...

I don't know how this rating of 4.9 came about, it just wasn't top. Order took 45 mi instead of 15 minutes. I stood in the shop while it was being prepared. Burnt pizza, it's okay, nice cross, mhh, please get a new one. Afterwards, additional rolls were not made as ordered; they had to be prepared again after the waiting time. The pasta was so-so. Small pizza, one pasta for almost 25 euros wow!!

Best pizza in the area. The store itself is not worth mentioning. That doesn't matter when it comes to picking it up. The boys are always in a good mood.

Die Pizzeria ist auf Abholung ausgerichtet. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne....aber wen kümmert es....aufs Essen kommt es an. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und wer vorher anruft, muss auch nicht warten. PKW-Stehplatz ist direkt vor der Tür...perfekt. Das Team ist super nett und für Wünsche offen. Preis-Leistung stimmt ebenfalls. Pizza oder Pasta....alles kann ich nur empfehlen.

Die Pizzen waren super lecker - aber: Wir wollten lediglich 4 Pizzen zum mitnehmen. Nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit, die wir bei dem Wetter draußen verbrachten, fragten wir mal nach wann mit den Pizzen zu rechnen sei. Ich war sehr erstaunt, dass der Pizzaofen leer stand. 4 große Bleche wurden belegt. Angeblich war eine Großbestellung eingegangen die bevorzugt abgearbeitet werde. Das würde noch 30 Minuten dauern, ob wir die Pizza noch haben wollten. Wir schlugen vor, den leeren Pizzaofen zu nutzen und uns dazwischen zu schieben. Zu Hause mussten wir feststellen, dass statt einer Spinatpizza eine Margaritha gefertigt wurde. Laut Karte hatten wir Grund-Pizzen im Wert von 29€ bestellt und von 27,50 € erhalten. Bezahlt wurden 36,50 € - das heißt für 4 zusätzlich bestellte Zutaten haben wir somit 10 € bezahlt. Schade, die Qualität der Pizzen war sehr gut, aber die fehlende Organisation hat viel kaputt gemacht. Wir schauen uns nach Mitbewerbern um

Heute zum Abschluss eines Besuchs bei Freunden in der Pizzeria da Francesco gelandet. Der eine Tisch wurde extra reserviert und so gab es das extrem leckere Essen vom Herd direkt auf den Teller! Man kennt sich und im Gespräch mit anderen Gästen wurde immer bestätigt: hier gibt es das beste italienische Essen! Zu Recht! Auch wir nutzen die nächste Gelegenheit zu einem Abstecher Abseits der sonst üblichen Angebote! Volle Empfehlung!!

Wir haben gestern aufgrund der Google Bewertungen zum ersten Mal hier essen geholt. Ich kann jetzt schonmal vorab sagen ihr habt neue Stammkunden. Essen abgeholt und alleine der Duft im Auto war unbezahlbar. Kein Imbissduft sondern pure Lust auf essen Duft! Vom Teig, der Tomatensoße (ein Traum), dem Käse einfach alles war super lecker und in Point! Leute dieser kleine aber feine Italienische Imbiss gehört unterstützt!!! Lobenswert möchte ich auch hervorheben das man aufgrund Glasscheibe alle Zubereitungen sehen kann und auch der Chef in der Küche sich nehmen lässt die Gäste nett durchs Glas zu begrüßen. Top top top Empfehlung und für mich in Wesel ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

Endlich eine Pizzeria nördlich der Alpen, die eine super leckere Pizza anbietet - Kompliment! Frische Zutaten, super knuspriger Teig, sehr freundliche und gut gelaunte Mitarbeiter. Leider habe ich nur eine kleine Pizza bestellt, was für ein Fehler… Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
