We ate there for the first time today, and definitely not the last! ☝🏼 The food, service, and location were simply top-notch!! The staff are so passionate about what they do; you can feel and taste it!! Highly recommended! 👍🏼

We ate at La Piccola Napoli da Salvatore with our two children. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our pizza, even though the restaurant wasn't full. With children, that's just difficult; eventually, your patience runs out. The service staff were consistently nice and friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed that evening. There was a lack of structure and organization. And then the pizza arrived. And honestly, it was simply fantastic. Really, really good. Fresh ingredients, great dough, and the taste was exactly what you'd expect from a good pizza. The best moment was our son's comment, who doesn't usually like pizza. After a few bites, he simply said: "Now I like pizza again." That pretty much says it all about the quality. In conclusion: Fantastic food, but a very long wait. If the service were better organized, we would give it more stars immediately. As it is, it remains a solid three stars with plenty of room for improvement.

Too many people were booked for the evening; seven of us were seated at a table for four. Flour and tomato sauce were available near the entrance. The pizza was okay, but the crust (partially burnt) was exactly the same size as the toppings. Some of the drinks (espresso) were lukewarm. Overall rating: 3-

A true taste of Italy! The pizza was simply amazing – fresh, perfectly topped, and absolutely delicious. This is exactly what you imagine a really good Italian pizza to be! The pizza pane and the pizza Napoli were very tasty, although the Napoli was a bit cold. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. The staff was disorganized and stressed. We were only asked about drinks once during our entire meal, and we asked for garlic oil several times; by the time it arrived, the pizza was cold. The worst part was that when we asked if the restaurant would be open another evening, we received a rude reply. It's a real shame, as the restaurant has real potential.

Unfortunately, the overall quality has declined significantly. Waiting 40 minutes for half an appetizer and then hearing after 50 minutes that they've run out of pizza toppings is truly disappointing. Especially on weekends, they should be prepared for more customers. The pizza can be amazing, but if the concept isn't working, they need to address it and make some changes. We used to enjoy coming here, but the overall experience has gotten worse each time.

Really good pizza, unfortunately it was already cold when it arrived at the table. Service?! Sorry – you can tell they've been understaffed for a long time. No concept, no real division of labor/areas. We certainly could have had dessert and another drink, but at some point we just wanted to leave. Which is completely unacceptable – especially when the waiter is also rude. Unfortunately, there was no tip... The ambiance would be really nice, or rather, it would be enhanced if they simply removed some tables. Yes, fewer guests would give the staff some relief, a more comfortable atmosphere, not so loud, just a bit nicer for everyone. There's definitely room for improvement here.

We had a table reserved for 6:30 pm today. We arrived on time. Around 6:45 pm, I reminded a waitress that we had a reservation. She walked away and ignored me. About five minutes later, three groups of people (one of whom waited for about three minutes) were shown to the table. After speaking with the waitress, who neither apologized nor pointed out the owner's responsibility, we left. Why does this place accept reservations if they don't intend to honor them? I have no understanding for this and will never visit this establishment again. I can't comment on the food – it looked delicious, but despite our reservation and a 20-minute wait, we weren't given a table.

Honestly, the best pizza I've ever eaten! You can feel the love and passion for the craft! From the selection and combination of high-quality ingredients, to the preparation and presentation, or even the wine selection… there's something for everyone here; Italian cuisine is truly lived and breathed! I also have to give a shout-out to the incredibly friendly and efficient waitresses. Even in the hustle and bustle of the evening, they always strive to fulfill every guest's wishes, always with a smile on their faces and with angelic patience, even with the most demanding customer ;) (the pizza I ordered was actually a combination of two pizzas because, once again, I just couldn't decide). Reservations are a must!

The pizza was delicious, and the kids said it was the best pizza they'd had in Germany so far. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely, cozy, and modern. The parking situation is understandable—it's right in the city center. We walked about 250 meters, but we didn't mind.

You can enjoy truly excellent Neapolitan pizzas here if you have the time. Unfortunately, the restaurant is understaffed; the employees are completely overwhelmed and sometimes forget ordered drinks, etc. Our wait was almost an hour. While the restaurant is stylishly decorated, the seating is too cramped, and the stressful work atmosphere is immediately transferred to the guests.

My wife and I visited this pizzeria for the first time today. It's certain that this won't be our last visit. We both ate one of the best pizzas we've ever had. Even pizzas we've eaten in Italy can't compare. Before writing this review, I read many other reviews of the restaurant. When something negative was mentioned, it often concerned waiting times, which can sometimes be a bit long. I'd like to point out that this pizzeria isn't a fast-food joint, but an excellent restaurant that is very popular and primarily serves outstanding pizzas. If I (we) have to wait perhaps 40 minutes for our order, I can certainly live with that. After all, I want something (especially) delicious to eat, and I'm not in a hurry. Our seat in the restaurant was in close proximity to the extraordinary pizza oven, and so we could observe that the owner didn't have a second's rest because he was preparing one excellent pizza after another.

I ate at La Piccola Napoli with my partner yesterday. The waitress, a young girl, was responsible for the packed place almost the entire time. Despite this situation, she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. She kept the atmosphere positive and did everything she could to make the guests feel comfortable. In the end, she really rocked the place. I give her a big thumbs-up for that! Despite the long wait, the visit was worth it, as the pizza was very, very delicious. We'll definitely be back!

If the restaurant is full (e.g., Sunday shopping at 6:30 p.m.), expect to wait up to 15 minutes before receiving the menu and 60 minutes for the food. Suggestion: If you have to anticipate these wait times, please let the guests know. We can then plan better and prepare accordingly. Maybe one or two guests will leave because of this. But less stress would be good for the staff. And certainly for the guests, too. Sometimes less is more. The pizzas were fantastically delicious (but we already know that 😉). Thanks for that.

The pizzas are simply amazing; the crust is super soft, the dough is really good, and the burrata combined with the pistachios and mortadella was fantastic. The starter wasn't that impressive. I had olives with salami and bread, and the olives weren't that great. My suggestion was immediately addressed, and I got another portion of a different type of olive, which were very good. Next time, a mix of both types of olives wouldn't be bad ☺️. Long wait, but worth it.

We've known Salvatore and his family for ages. Umberto's food was and still is first-class, and Salvatore has given it another big star. It's super nice there, everyone is very friendly. Is it too expensive? That's up to each individual to decide. Either I order the pizza for 17 euros, which is worth it, or I just skip it and go to the next takeaway. Just don't let the toppings get any less ;) Salva, keep it up :)

There were four of us, and all four of us left the restaurant completely satisfied. The Neapolitan pizza was excellent. The dough was beautifully thin, the crust light and crispy, and there were many different toppings to choose from—we were spoiled for choice. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was almost fully booked, there was still time for a friendly word. The ambiance was basically perfect, too. However, we're deducting one star because the music was a bit too loud, which made conversation at our table a little difficult. Our chairs were also a little wobbly. Unfortunately, we have a 30-minute drive, but that won't stop us from coming back. Thanks for the lovely evening :)

Today, we spontaneously went to La Piccola Napoli with the family and were seated right away without having to wait. The service was very attentive, and the pizzas arrived very quickly without us having to wait long. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were here with our team for an outing, and the food was truly outstanding – the pizza was fresh and delicious, and the antipasti/pizza rolls were also very tasty. Unfortunately, the service soured our evening. Our server was very unfriendly from the start. Simple orders were met with sharp comments, as if we had made something wrong. When I asked for pizza rolls, I was loudly corrected, saying they were antipasti, and that ordering a second order would be "very difficult." We found this inappropriate – after all, as a guest, you should be able to freely order whatever is on the menu. Conclusion: The food is highly recommended, but the service was unfortunately disrespectful. It's a shame, because the food actually deserved five stars.

We traveled all the way from Moers to eat at this pizzeria. I had called beforehand to check if there was room for two people, and they told us it was no problem and we could go right away. When we arrived, the lady seemed stressed and told us that unfortunately, there were no more spaces available and that we wouldn't be able to make it today. This miscommunication was very disappointing and unfortunately ruined our evening. We won't be coming back.

The pizza was very good, and the toppings were as fresh as you'd expect. I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza. A major downside is the young man who was very taciturn and even unfriendly when he assigned the table and took our orders.

I was extremely satisfied. The service is top-notch – friendly, fast, and well-organized. You can tell there's a well-thought-out system behind the processes here. I had the Pizza Verdura, which really impressed with its fresh vegetables and excellently prepared dough. The base was just right: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly stronger cheese flavor – but that's purely a matter of taste. Overall: For a small town like Geldern and the surrounding area, this is definitely one of the best pizzas you can get.

The quality and service are excellent. But the speed of the kitchen is a real pain. I waited over 62 minutes for the very good pizza. It finally arrived when I was about to leave.

Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't OK! There was so little topping on the pizza and the crust was so thin!

The pizza was quite tasty and airy... but 45 minutes for a salami pizza is still too long. Tip: Free pizza rolls would be a good idea. It might be better for pick-up.

We ate at La Piccola Napoli today and were very satisfied. The pizzas were very flavorful and delicious. A very polite young waiter absolutely delighted us with his exceptional friendliness.

Once and never again 😔 50% of the pizza was just the crust, which was partially black. The topping was as thin as the base. I asked if I could have my pizza sliced, so the waiter took my cutlery from the table, cut it into four pieces, and returned the cutlery he had used to my table. Numerous cars drove past the tables, even though it's a pedestrian zone. 2 pizzas and 2 small Cokes cost €34.90. We didn't even get a bill.

Super tasty! I had a burrata pesto pizza. It was by far the tastiest pizza I've had in a long time. Cozy atmosphere and nice staff. I can only recommend it and am already looking forward to the next visit.

To eat: The first pizza was completely burnt, and when I asked, the waitress told me it must be like that. When I picked up the pizza it was completely black and the gentleman doesn't know if it was the waiter or the second boss reacted and gave me a new pizza. Overall, it was a shame because my wife had already finished eating and I had to wait 30 minutes. Overall, the pizza, even though it was visually appealing, wasn't worth 17 euros. The mussels were out of the package because they were very watery. At this price the goods must be fresh. My wife's Gorgonzola pizza, on the other hand, was excellent. About the service: The young girl was completely overwhelmed and we weren't asked about desserts or whether we wanted something else to drink, you literally had to run after her. There is no concept of table numbers, then every waiter knows that I have 100 - 500 and can concentrate on the guests. Ambiance: Visually really appealing interior. Paying in the aisle is inconvenient and setting up a table in the entrance area is not good because the guests cannot enjoy their food in peace and are always sitting on the train. You want to enjoy yourself and not be on the run. It's strange that you have to walk to the aisle yourself and the waiter doesn't come to the table to pay. When it comes to prices, service needs to be more customer-oriented. When the store opened I had to go to the bathroom and the towels were empty. When you open the store, you have to check beforehand that everything is clean and stocked. Please boss, sit on your fancy chairs for 30 minutes and you will realize that they are just uncomfortable. It's just well-intentioned criticism. All points can be easily improved. I would also take a quick look underneath before the pizza goes to the table and if it is burnt, throw it away. We will come back and see how the restaurant develops. All the best!

I can more than recommend the pizza and should actually be awarded more than 5 stars. Super fluffy crust and thin pizza dough, a poem. Pizza Stracciatella and Nutella Pizza for dessert. Very clear recommendation. The earlier you reserve the table, the faster you will have your pizza. Some of us have been waiting for our pizza for a long time. (but that's the only point of criticism)

After spending a nice evening there with delicious food about 3 weeks ago, today was definitely the last time for me. Table booked for 5:30 p.m. The food came after 1.5 hours. Strong performance, because the chef was on vacation and the shop was packed. The phone was constantly ringing so loudly that it was difficult to have a conversation. The service staff was overwhelmed given the circumstances. Pizzas were almost cold and sparsely topped. That's it for us. Price-performance ratio is not right either way.

The inner part of the pepperoni pizza, by that I mean everything except the edge, was swimming in oil. You have to like it, I don't and it's one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. The service was under stress, to put it that way, because the store was full. The tables were so close together that a cozy atmosphere could not be created. The music was so loud that conversation was only possible with a clearly raised voice. Too bad.

Salvatore has a beautiful shop! The service is top and the pizza is to die for! Everything is homemade, everything is made fresh and you just feel good! The pizzas taste just like in Italy! The service is attentive and courteous! Everything is done to make you feel comfortable! Simply great, you just love going there!

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was anything but successful. It was difficult to even get a reservation in advance - no one could be reached by phone for days. Finally we tried via Instagram, which ultimately worked. When we arrived on a busy Saturday evening, our reserved table was not available. Instead, we stood in the entrance for quite a while - a very unpleasant situation, especially since the next guests with reservations were already waiting at the door after us. After a long back and forth, we were finally assigned a place, but it was extremely narrow and uncomfortable. In addition, it was incredibly loud in the entire restaurant, so there was no cozy atmosphere at all. Unfortunately, the service was anything but smooth. We had to wait a long time for the menus and the drink order also took a long time. Two of the four white wines on offer were unavailable, as were truffles and tiramisu - all very disappointing. Our starter, panini with herb butter, took over 30 minutes to arrive. We had to specifically ask for cutlery and small plates and finally got a plate and cutlery. The service staff tried hard, but were obviously overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't impress us in terms of taste - but that's of course a matter of taste. What bothered us, however, was that the wine was not refilled and the starter and main course were not cleared away at all. In the end we wanted to pay, but that was difficult too because we had to look for someone for a long time. When we paid we expressed our displeasure, whereupon we were told that next time we would just say something about how things didn't go well last time - then we would be given a discount. That's nice, but somehow it's not the point of the matter. A visit to a restaurant should be pleasant from the start and not only be “made up for” with a discount the second time. We probably won't come back, but we still wish the team all the best.

We had pre-booked a table for 7 people, but then there were only six of us and a table was quickly taken away, so we were supposed to sit at a spacious table for four. It was so tight that no one could move their chair - not even the people at the next table. Then, after repeated requests, we were moved, which at least offered a little more space in the restaurant, which seemed very crowded. Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed. The food order was taken after 45 minutes, the appetizer platter came with 3 after another 45 minutes of waiting! small plates and the words “That's enough for you, right?!” Since the missing starters didn't come automatically, we asked for them again - and also for more small plates - for each of us... Shortly after the starter, the pizzas we ordered arrived - at least 5 out of 6. They were very tasty, even if we had almost lost our desire for them. When a waitress came and asked if we wanted anything else, this was probably meant to be rhetorical, because despite saying "yes" she turned around and left again - without ordering another drink. Oh yes, by the way, it's a good thing that the beer drinkers were all “bottle-bottle fed” because there were no beer glasses. All in all: good food, but the service doesn't make it enjoyable. We probably won't come back.

Plan on a long wait for the food, there are clearly not enough staff for the number of guests. Very loud acoustics in the interior because no sound-absorbing materials were used.
