We were looking for a place for a small farewell party on a Monday evening and found it here. We had a lovely evening with delicious food.

Nice place with pizza and desserts! If you want a place to sit and enjoy definitely go there.

We were there with a large group, pre-ordering. This wasn't a problem at all. The service was quick, and everyone got their drinks quickly. The food and appetizers also arrived relatively quickly. The quality was sometimes subpar. If there are sealed mussels on your plate, that's generally acceptable, as long as there aren't too many. But if the chef tells you to open them and eat the mussel meat, that's completely unacceptable. The spaghetti with crayfish isn't what it says on the menu. Since at least two people in our group complained, the chef freaked out. He asked if we had coordinated, and he brought out a large plastic container filled with small crayfish tails. Here, he repeatedly asked, provocatively, if anyone could read it. This kind of behavior towards guests is unacceptable. Absolutely not recommended.

We spontaneously visited Diez and stopped at La Piazza for lunch. A very appealing restaurant, the menu was extensive, and our service was exceptionally professional. The starter, mushrooms with feta cheese and garlic sauce, was good, and the main courses were equally delicious. Okay, my mistake. I ordered spaghetti carbonara, even though it stated that it was made with cream instead of egg. The cream completely overpowered the flavor, you had to hunt for the ham, and the spaghetti was overcooked. So I stopped eating and, when asked, told the waiter why. I openly communicated that the error was mine, as I should have skipped the cream sauce. He handled my criticism professionally. Things then turned sour when the owner took the stage. He jovially greeted his regulars, chanting Italian phrases, while his spaghetti carbonara tasted anything but Italian. No problem. You know the type of host, and he was well-received by his regulars. Until he cleared away our salt and pepper shakers, and I told him I'd like to keep them. Answer: I could buy them for one euro. I quickly had the euro handy, and he pocketed it, but I didn't get the shakers. We paid, €80 for two people, and I demanded my euro back. He handed it over, but not without telling me I should avoid restaurants in the future; they could do without guests like me. Upon my protest, he mobilized his regulars and commented on my departure, saying it was a good thing I was leaving. All right. Where I'm not wanted, I won't be seen again anyway. Once again, a big compliment to our waiter, who was confident and professional. The owner, however, is not a calling card for his restaurant.

We're frequent guests at a nearby campsite and discovered La Piazza on the recommendation of a lady in town. It's now a must-visit when we stay there. We've always been thrilled with the food, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Typical Italian! Thank you.

Very tasty food (the four of us had salad, pizza, and a schnitzel), a lovely spot on the terrace, and a cheerful waiter with a pepper mill always at the ready. Even the details were delicious (bruschetta for starters, espresso), so highly recommended. The interior (especially the rear, newer part) is also beautifully designed.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The chef didn't even know what the soup of the day was. He said potato soup, and suddenly there was tomato soup on the table. We were also surprised by the main course. The mushroom and corn salad suddenly had shrimp in it, and the chicken pasta only contained three small pieces of chicken. After complaining about the salad, due to a shellfish allergy, the new salad arrived unprepared, and the mushrooms were quickly thrown into the deep fryer, which made them taste like grease. The waitress also didn't know offhand whether the salad came with pizza bread or not, even though it was stated on the menu.

Delicious food and fast, very friendly service. Prices are affordable and reasonable. It's nice that you can also sit outside. 5 stars from us.

If you like Italian cuisine, this is the place for you.

Very friendly service, we had a wonderful outdoor seating area, and the outdoor seating was very comfortable. The food was really good. Without complaining, I think the pizza dough could have been improved a bit (it was fluffier after baking; maybe that also has something to do with the oven) and the wire mesh fence could have been hidden a bit more attractively.

Unfortunately, some of the seafood on my pizza was still very cold (freshly frozen?), the pasta wasn't particularly tasty, the service was very attentive but a bit disrespectful and intrusive towards some of the guests. Just because they're children, you don't stroke them in the face or through their hair, and you don't do that to the nice lady at the table next to you either!

She loved everything. The staff was super attentive. I'll be back.

This is not a pizzeria. We got Arabic flatbread with Italian-like toppings, which was simply horrible. I have never received (and left) such a bad “pizza”.

Very well-kept restaurant not far from the market square in Mayen. Extremely friendly staff who always try to implement your wishes and find a solution even when the restaurant is almost fully booked. The restaurant is located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the market square, in a very attractive corner near the east gate of the city wall overlooking a small square surrounded by half-timbered houses. Very pleasant atmosphere and very good food. Currently our favorite Italian restaurant in Mayen. We have been there several times with friends and have always been satisfied.

We were there for dinner with 6 people and, as always, we were served very friendly and ate well. With starter, main course and dessert everything was delicious

Unfortunately the price didn't match the quality - €29.50. Tasted good, 3 medium asparagus were overcooked and salmon was cooked dead with 2 boiled potatoes. Service was very friendly, therefore still 3 stars. Ambience was also very pleasant.

Now absolutely overpriced, a pizza with only pepperoni sausage or salami for 12-13 euros, the quality is mediocre, therefore no longer recommended, at least when picking up.

As has often been seen in recent years, this is also a pizzeria under Turkish management. Nevertheless, the food is very tasty and the service is always friendly and accommodating, and any special requests are always fulfilled. I come here regularly and am always satisfied.

There were four of us there and we all really enjoyed the restaurant! My pasta was delicious and the tiramisu was the perfect dessert. I would also like to highlight the extremely friendly service! Overall I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

My order was not processed correctly because the Turk, who practices Italian, has problems with the German language. That's perhaps why the constant "you" is used, which I don't always find appropriate and often disrespectful. If you then have to explain to yourself after the wrong food that it was because of the order, that's a joke. If the food and prices are ok. If it were, I would have overlooked a few things...but I can't say anything positive here either.

La Piazza, Italian restaurant in Diez, nice atmosphere, lots of seats, also for groups. I ate a Tagliatelle Salmone, tagliatelle with salmon. Very appetizingly prepared, large portion. I enjoyed it very much!

In this restaurant you feel comfortable right from the start. As a guest you are greeted very courteously and continue to be served very courteously

Sehr leckeres Essen. Zuvorkommende Bedienung. Es ging alle reibungslos und schnell. Kommen gerne wieder Im Sommer gibt es ein Terrasse, hier kann man sehr schön draußen sitzen.. Die Speisekarte ist mega vielseitig, sodass die Auswahl schwer fällt. Die Portionen sind reichhaltig. Zum krönenden Abschluss gibt es einen Schnaps aufs Haus.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker und es gibt eine Vielzahl an Gerichten. Für Mischköstler und Vegetarier findet sich auf jeden Fall etwas . Es gab keine extra veganen Gerichte, es besteht denke ich aber auf Nachfrage die Möglichkeit. Die Bedienung war super aufmerksam und total freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir haben draussen gesessen und was auch wirklich positiv ist, dass die Tische nicht zu nah aneinander stehen. Man hat genug Platz wenn man z.B. noch einen Hund mitbringt, kann dieser entspannt neben dem Tisch liegen . Es war ein sehr schöner Abend & wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind eher zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, von vorne relativ unscheinbar kommt man durch einen schönen Gastraum in den wunderschönen Aussenbereich, den man von vorne nicht vermutet. Hier bedient der Chef persönlich, man fühlt sich sofort wie ein Stammgast. Freundlich, schnell, auch mal lustig, mit Leib und Seele Gastronom. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, keine zu lange Wartezeit und preislich auch völlig ok. Sehr empfehlenswert wir kommen garantiert öfters mal wieder.

Ambiente passt, Pizza war durchschnittlich. Das Gericht mit Kartoffeln und Pfifferlingen war nicht wirklich überzeugend. Kartoffeln waren wahrscheinlich vorgekocht, Soße war Geschmacklos und neutral. Dafür einfach zu teuer....

Es war alles super. Ich kann es jeden Empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr sehr gut, schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Der Service war sehr Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Außerdem sah das Restaurant sehr schön aus und man hat sich wohlgefühlt. 10/10. Es ist auch ein sehr kostengünstiges Restaurant, die Preise sind sehr angemessen.

Leckeres Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen bei großen Portionen, sowohl bei der Vorspeise als auch beim Hauptgang und Dessert. Der Meeresfrüchtesalat ist superlecker. Keine lange Wartezeit, sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Lieb zu Kindern, die Spaghetti mit Tomatensoße wurden auch komplett vernichtet :-) Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besucht

Sehr zu empfehlen. Der Kellner ist immer für ein Spässchen aufgelegt . Alle sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist auch gut. Es gab sogar ein Mittagsmenü mit Anipasti oder Suppe als Vorspeise für 8.90 Euro.

Wir gehen hier schön lange regelmäßig zum Essen hin oder holen auch mal für zuhause ab. Die Mahlzeiten sind immer sehr lecker, gut zubereitet und man wird immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Möglichkeiten drinnen sowohl auch draußen zu sitzen sind ausreichend gegeben und optisch ist das Restaurant auch sehr ansprechend.

Sehr schönes Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Dietz. Wir haben schon die verschiedensten Gerichte ausprobiert und alles ist empfehlenswert gewesen. Es spricht für sich, Das das Lokal zu den Stoßzeiten ordentlich voll ist. Die Therese im Hinterhof lädt an lauen Abenden zum verweilen ein. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und erfüllen jeden möglichen „Extrawunsch“. Darin bin ich Spezialistin🙈

Also kann die Bewertungen hier nicht verstehen. 1 . Ist kein Italiener sondern Türke , spricht mit seiner Belegschaft hinter Tresen türkisch. 2. Pizza Diablo war NULL scharf mit eingelegte Paprika anstatt frische und Frühstücks Salami aus Lidl. Pizza war extrem wässrig , sorry Leute bin echt kein Feinschmecker und habe keine hoche Ansprüche . Wer das Essen hier als sehr gut oder gut bezeichnet hat noch nie Deuschland Verlassen und Mal ne richtige diabolo Pizza gegessen. Finde es extrem lustig das die Stammkundschaft den Besitzer für ein Italiener halten, schrecklich.

Waren dort essen mit einer Gesellschaft. Die Pizza war fade und schlecht Gewürzt. Das Schnitzel schmeckte irgendwie ranzig und die Soße war so derart instand das es schon ekelig war. Bedienung war freundlich aber machte auf Italiener obwohl sie Schein bar keine sind 🤷🏼‍♂️
