Have eaten here several times and have always received friendly service and the food tastes great.

Versatile menu. Whether pizza, pasta, meat dishes and, above all, the seasonal menu is simply excellent. Service staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

I came around 7pm on a Sunday and went in right away without a reservation. There were a lot of people and there were a lot of orders so our food came out late. However, I liked it because the pizza and pasta were so delicious. The beer is delicious too😄

We were there with a group of 11 people. All dishes, from pizza to seasonal game with chestnuts, were excellent! The service was also first class: attentive and super fast. Absolutely recommended 👍🏻

Very nicely decorated, attentive and friendly service, sometimes a bit overwhelmed. Unfortunately it's very loud, but it's also very busy. Pizzas very tasty, pasta rather bland. Unfortunately, the meat dishes that are missing are the typically Italian ones, such as Involtini or Saltimboca. Because of SchniPoSa I haven't been to an Italian restaurant and when I read "Spaghetti Carbonara in cream sauce" I know that the owner isn't Italian either. But please don't mean that in a derogatory way

Unfortunately the service staff are not very attentive, they are very busy, which I can understand, but it is not possible that you have reserved the table at 5 p.m., place the order at 5:30 p.m. and (current time) 7:10 p.m Still no food has been received. It's a real shame and unfortunately not an isolated case.

The very beautiful restaurant is always worth a visit for every occasion: Great variety of food/drinks. Original Italian cuisine, everything tastes excellent and delicious, large, barely manageable portions and everything at reasonable, fair prices! The restaurant in the center of Gernsbach is always very busy, especially in the evenings and on weekends, as it is popular with all generations!! Reservation in the evening is essential! Service exceptionally friendly, fast and courteous, even at peak times! Also recommended for smaller family celebrations or similar. Boss very customer-oriented and present! Sufficient parking spaces available (small parking fee until 6 p.m., as the city of Gernsbach has a public parking lot)

Very good cuisine, the pizza was excellent. But it was so full that the service couldn't be kept up, even though they tried very hard. Some people at my table waited almost an hour for a drink

Unfortunately I can't understand the many great reviews! Both of our pasta dishes were completely tasteless! I watched the people at the next table who all had to add a lot of seasoning! No recommendation from me!

The Piazza restaurant in Gernsbach is a real insider tip! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish at the same time, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed by the fresh and high-quality preparation of the food - every meal was a pleasure! The Italian dishes are presented with great attention to detail and taste absolutely authentic. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. I can fully recommend the Piazza and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Very nice staff and delicious food

It was our first time at Piazza and overall we were satisfied. Ordering the drinks was a bit chaotic as the wrong drinks came to the table three times. But it wasn't too bad, the right thing came later. Overall, the food was really good and the price was definitely right. It was very crowded and relatively loud. Otherwise the service was friendly and attentive.

We're usually here a lot, but it's getting worse from time to time. Eating DSD is delicious, no question about it. However, waiting 2 hours for food, seeing people come an hour after you and get the food first and you almost starve, I find it really annoying. The wait staff is doing their best, but there are too few of them and they are just running and doing. We had to wait a very long time last time, even though we were right in front of our noses. But this was the last straw. Only after asking 4 times where the food was and saying that you were really hungry did it still not be our food that came, but everyone else's food outside... We then spoke to the boss straight away after we were ignored for 20 minutes after dinner and actually wanted coffee and dessert to somehow save the evening. The boss also gave us coffee on the house and dessert as an apology. Still, it was disappointing in all respects.

What can I say...you definitely shouldn't come here very hungry and short on patience. First it took a while for the order to even be taken and then we had to wait 2 hours (!!!) for the food to be brought to the table. To top it all off, a meal was forgotten, which meant another wait. Conclusion of the evening...luckily there are other restaurants!

Reserved a table around 5 p.m. to place the order. Ordered food 2 hours ago!! After 2 hours there was still no food and the neighboring table that came after us had already received the food. Something like that is absolutely not possible!! And when you finally get the food after 21/2 hours (7:30 p.m.) but not everyone (group of 12 people) and the whole thing is put off with the fact that it has been lost. No words for this!!!

We didn't have a reservation and asked for 2 seats shortly after 4 p.m. Although everything except two tables was free, the rest were probably reserved. We were offered a table outside for 1 hour, which we accepted. Our food (pizza and tortellini al forno) came quickly. Unfortunately the tortellini were only lukewarm. At my request, they took her with me again to heat things up. The pizza was okay, unfortunately my pasta was too soft and the taste of the pasta as well as the tomato-minced meat sauce with lots of peas was tasteless and didn't convince me. After 45 minutes the waitress came and pointed out that the people who had reserved our table after us were already waiting. All the tables around us were still free. It would certainly have been possible to move to another table and not force us to leave. On the previous visit we had reserved indoors for 3 people. Even then, the restaurant was empty and we were assigned a small table for 4 right by the stairs, where you had to worry about falling down the stairs if you weren't careful and slipped your chair a little too far back.

The La Piazza restaurant is located in a rather inconspicuous low-rise building in the heart of Gernsbach. The atmosphere is rustic but cozy and there is a large terrace for the summer. The menu offers a wide selection of typical Italian dishes, except for the meat dishes where schnitzel dominates, but Italian classics such as saltimbocca or piccata are missing. The staff is consistently friendly and very attentive and drinks and food are served quite quickly after ordering. The quality of the food itself is very good, but the taste and appearance are rather average. In any case, the portions are very generous for the prices quoted.

We got pizza and we were very satisfied, everything was really delicious. Gladly again. I'm only rating the food and the service here because I didn't really look around the restaurant.

Food: the food was ok, overall it lacked a bit of flavor but maybe we just had a bad day. We will come back and test... Service: the service was very friendly! Ambiance: We really liked the ambience! Really beautiful what was made of it. We thought it was great that you could open the front part as if you were sitting on the terrace. The only shame was the view. So much effort was put into making the whole restaurant modern and comfortable, but when you look outside you see a very unpleasant part of Gernsbach

Went on our bikes and had dinner there. Food and service absolutely top. Price is a little higher but justified.

Very good pizza which are offered in 2 sizes: small 32 cm and medium 38 cm. The small pizza was more than enough and we even had trouble finishing it... The prices are very reasonable, on average €11.60 for a good number of them and excellent. Large parking lot in front of the restaurant. I recommend.

What a great evening in Gernsbach. Very good cuisine with real Italian dishes and a great seasonal menu. Perfect meat quality! Very good zander with chanterelles. Even though there was a lot going on, our waitress had everything under control. Omar, the boss, is friendly and accommodating. He exceeded our wishes. You have to visit this place. Thank you for a wonderful Saturday evening.

WOW!!! Was in Gernsbach for a weekend training course. It looked great as we walked past and we managed to get a seat even though it was extremely full. Can only highly recommend it!!! Pizza incredibly good and the staff was great too. Thank you and see you next time! 😁

Very tasty and very large pizza. It's nice to sit inside and in the winter garden, while outside the cars drive right past in the parking lot.

Very unfriendly counter worker, who likes to flex his non-existent muscles and unfairly portrayed the customers as boozers in front of the entire restaurant. I will hardly consider another visit to such unfriendly staff.

Great selection of pizzas with really good toppings. Unfortunately, it's often so over-seasoned/over-salted that after a pizza in the evening you end up hanging on to the water bottle all night long. That doesn't have to be the case and it's annoying. Not to mention the health aspect.

There were 6 of us and the restaurant was fully booked. Therefore there were some delays in service and some waiting time for food. We had starters three times, although the bread from the bruschetta could have been toasted better. After that it took a little longer until the 5 pizzas and 1 Tris di Pasta arrived. We all got our food at the same time. The delay was due to the high volume of guests and out-of-home orders. We were all happy with the food. The pizzas are always recommended here. It was a lovely evening and we would love to come back.

Super Service! A large salad was forgotten when we picked it up and when we complained by phone, we were immediately offered to have someone deliver the salad to us, which was done promptly. We wouldn't have expected it. The pizzas were great, the salad was ok😄

Seven of us had dinner today. As always, everything (pizza, pasta, salad, tiramisu) was incredibly delicious! The food came at the same time for everyone: great coordination between the pizza oven and the kitchen! The entire staff is just as attentive, flexible and courteous! More than recommended!

The place is always full, now I know why. It's really good, the staff is super friendly and very competent. I think the drinks prices are excessive! We went on a Friday evening and ate pizza, sausage salad, fish, pinsa and salads. Portions were actually way too big and very expensive. Nobody has done everything. There were also boxes with leftovers to take away at the tables next to us. Maybe less on the plate and a little cheaper? Maybe dessert would be okay? Everything was fine. But we have also eaten better in Gernsbach. The service was very friendly and quick. At the end she offered schnapps, but without saying that it was €5.90 each on the bill! So with 4 people we had almost 200 euros on the bill. This wasn't the first, but our last visit to this restaurant. A pity. But there are still enough people who don't care. The store is packed every day and there is no space without a reservation...

It was my first time there and I have to say it was a great first impression, I ordered the very large pizza... The natural one was very tasty, but I still only have to give it 2 stars when I ate it because I had very bad stomach problems afterwards and the tap didn't stop flowing at all... sometimes some of it flew into my mouth and tasted much worse than it did the pizza 🍕 But overall it's good, you can spend a day with your loved ones and have fun with the whole family 👍🏼 You have to know.

It's a very nice restaurant focused on pizza, with a very real Italian taste. The taste is very similar to pizzas I have eaten in Rome and Tuscany. It is one of the best Italian pizzas in the whole Baden-Württemberg.

War unser zweites Mal und beide Male wirklich klasse :) Evtl. Sollte der Eingang etwas besser markiert sein, wir sind dran vorbeigegangen

Wurden zuerst vergessen, dann war Speck im vegetarischen Salat und sowohl Garnelen als auch der Lachs war nicht durchgebraten. Der Rest war geschmacklich gut

Tolle Lage mitten in Gernsbach, Essen war gut und der Preis in Ordnung. Leider ist eine Servicekraft sehr sehr unverschämt! Ich war die letzten Wochen und Monate öfter mit meinen Eltern oder ein paar Freundinnen und auch mit meinem Freund Essen. Die eine Servicekraft ist zwischen 20 und 30 und hatte immer Dienst wenn ich dort gegessen habe. Leider ist er mir durch sehr aggressives Flirten mit mir aufgefallen und das obwohl mein Freund mit mir dabei war !! Ich verwechsle hier nicht flirten mit normalem freundlich sein. Das war teilweise unter aller Sau, wie ich zb angezwinkert wurde oder welche Blicke und Kommentare ich bekommen habe, sogar noch Einladungen wenn ich kurz alleine am Tisch war und mein Freund auf Toilette. Das Restaurant ist wirklich empfehlenswert, leider hat er es mir jetzt verdorben und ich fühle mich nicht mehr wohl und werde so nicht mehr kommen. Das aggressive Flirten vom Kellner war leider nicht nur bei mir sondern habe ich auch an anderen Tischen mit Frauen und jungen Mädchen in seinem Alter mitbekommen - wenn er aktuell eine Partnerin hat, tut sie mir sehr Leid!

Dieses Restaurant hat auf jedenfall eine Bewertung verdient 👍. Wir haben noch nie ein Restaurant erlebt wo so viele Tische reserviert waren, was schon an sich alles aussagt. Der Besitzer, der sehr freundlich ist ,versucht dennoch jedem Gast die Möglichkeit zu geben, sein absolut fantastisches Essen zu genießen. Es ist einfach ein Genuss, vom Salat bis hin zur Pizza und Pasta. Preis leistung absolut gerechtfertigt und nicht überteuert. Es ist alles super sauber und bestens organisiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent, von der Küche bis zur Bedienung einfach spitze. Personell einfach perfekt geführt. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich und sehr stimmig. Wer mal in Gernsbach ist, sollte sich das nicht entgehen lassen. Wir raten euch zu einer Reservierung. Parkplätze direkt vorm Restaurant. Vielen Dank an Euch, für einen tollen Abend. Ihr seid für uns das beste Restaurant, das wir je besucht haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
