Wir haben hier mehrfach sehr gerne und gut gegessen. Pizza frisch gemacht, wie man sie sich vorstellt. Nudelgerichte auch sehr lecker. (Mini-Minimanko/Hinweis: Bitte nicht an den Oliven sparen - lieber 0,50 Euro mehr verlangen) Ansonsten gute Zutaten. Große Pizza, schöne Salatteller. Hat uns echt Spaß gemacht. Service: Am Tisch äußerst charmant und zuvorkommend. Am Eingang: Ich fand es sehr gut. Gut organisiert, immer hinterher, das alles läuft. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Ambiente: optisch sehr schön gemacht. Abzüge: Ihr hättet unbedingt noch was an der Akustik machen sollen. Wenn Ihr mal in ein paar Jahren renoviert: bitte dran denken. Das ist wirklich sehr laut und der Laden ist immer sehr voll... Im Sommer, draußen überhaupt kein Problem. Wir mögen es jedenfalls sehr und werden sicher wieder kommen.

So lecker 😋!!!!!!!!!!! Schmeckt wie in Italien. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Ob take away oder im Restaurant essen einfach perfekt. Super nettes Team und schöne Atmosphäre. Nicht überlegen einfach ausprobieren. Ich bin echt begeistert.

Wir waren am Sonntag zur Mittagszeit dort und da das Wetter schön war, konnten wir zu acht auf der Terrasse Platz nehmen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat auch die Sonderwünsche gerne entgegengenommen. Und das Essen, was soll man sagen, es war sehr sehr lecker! Vorspeisen vielfältig, Steak auf den Punkt gegart. Pizza, Salate und Fisch waren super. Bei unserem nächsten Ausflug in die Gegend werden wir wieder dort halt machen.

4 Erwachsene plus ein Kleinkind saßen am Tisch und warteten auf die Bedienung. Sämtliche Personen die nach uns kamen wurden vor uns bedient. Bedienung war wohl alleine und völlig überfordert. Wir waren schon einige Male da, aber jetzt definitiv nicht mehr.

Das schöne und ungezwungene Restaurant ist immer und zu jedem Anlass ein Besuch wert : Tolle Speisen-/Getränke-Vielfalt. Original italienische Küche, alles schmeckt hervorragend und lecker, große, kaum schaffbare Portionen und alles zu vertretbaren, fairen Preisen! Das Restaurant im Zentrum von Gernsbach ist immer, vor allem abends und am Wochenende, sehr gut besucht, da von allen Generationen beliebt!! Reservierung am Abend unbedingt erforderlich! Service außergewöhnlich freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend, auch bei „Hochbetrieb“! Empfehlenswert auch bei kleineren Familienfeiern o.ä. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden (bis 18 Uhr kleine Parkgebühr, da öffentlicher Parkplatz der Stadt Gernsbach)

Sehr leckere Pizza, habe schon länger nicht mehr so einen zarten knusprigen Pizzaboden gegessen. Faire Preise, anfenehmer Service. Man darf sich nicht abschrecken lassen von den hässlichen Häusern drumherum

Ausgezeineter Italiener mit Terrasse und Wintergarten. Die Aussicht auf einen Patkplatz ist dabei leider weniger gut.Ich hatte eine reichhaltig belegte Pizza und meine Frau einen Vorspeisenteller mit allem, auch eingelegte Sardinen. Empfehlenswert

Hier ist deine 5-Sterne-Bewertung für La Piazza: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was das Herz begehrt! Im La Piazza in Gernsbach passt einfach alles. Der Service ist super freundlich, immer nett und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Essen ist sehr fein, geschmacklich hervorragend und die Portionen sind mehr als reichlich. Hier bekommt man Qualität und Genuss auf ganzer Linie. Die Stimmung ist angenehm entspannt, perfekt für einen gemütlichen Abend mit Familie oder Freunden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 🍕✨

Wir wurden direkt empfangen und an unseren Tisch gesetzt. Die Speisekarte hab ich mir nach paar Minuten warten selbst geholt. 10min Wartezeit bis jemand kam um nur die Getränkebestellung aufzunehmen, Getränke kamen dann aber schnell. Anstatt dass dann direkt unserer Essensbestellung aufgenommen wird, durften wir wieder 10min warten.. Bis dann das Essen kam, sind auch noch mal 15-20min vergangen... Dafür hat das Essen immerhin sehr lecker geschmeckt.

Wir haben ONLINE einen Tisch reserviert – mit Bestätigung. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir ernsthaft fünfmal nach unserem Namen gefragt und ob wir „wirklich reserviert“ hätten. Ja, hatten wir. Und die Dame mit den lockigen, braunen schulterlangen Haaren wurde dabei auch noch pampig, als wären wir die Schuldigen. Wir standen ungelogen fünf Minuten am Eingang rum wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt, bis man uns irgendwann irgendeinen Tisch zugewiesen hat, der offensichtlich gar nicht für uns gedacht war. Der Laden war hoffnungslos überfüllt, völlig überbucht, und die Lautstärke war schlimmer als im Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof. Man konnte sich kaum unterhalten. Und als Krönung lief dieselbe Eros-Ramazzotti-Playlist in Dauerschleife. Alle zehn Minuten wieder der gleiche Song. Atmosphäre? Katastrophe. Das Essen kam immerhin recht schnell und war geschmacklich okay, alles gleichzeitig, keine Sonderwünsche vergessen. Der junge Kellner der uns bedient hat war freundlich und bemüht – großes Lob an ihn, er hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben. ABER diese Dame von vorhin… absolut unmöglich. Sie hat den ganzen Laden verrückt gemacht. Hat jeden spüren lassen, dass sie angeblich das Sagen hat, ist ihre Kollegen angegangen und ist durch den Laden gerannt, als würde es brennen oder als wäre ein Hund hinter ihr her. Dieses panische Hin- und Hergerenne hat uns komplett nervös gemacht. Man kann flott arbeiten – aber das war einfach nur hektisch und unsympathisch. Wir dachten echt, die Küche steht in Flammen. Und dann kam spät abends noch der Chef rein, geschniegelt mit Begleitung, und hat den großen King gespielt. Ist zu jedem Stammgast marschiert und hat ihn begrüßt wie seinen verlorenen Zwillingsbruder. Er Kochen? Bedienen? Gläser spülen? Fehlanzeige. Stattdessen mit jedem ein Schnäpschen trinken und am Ende den Umsatz einstecken und nach Hause fahren, gutes Vorbild für sein Team. Als Chef sollte man sein Team unterstützen, nicht nur Show machen – aber gut, muss jeder selbst wissen. Fazit: Wir gehen definitiv nicht mehr hin. Viel zu voll, viel zu laut, völlig chaotisch. Essen war okay, aber nichts Besonderes oder typisch Italienisches, sind ja schließlich keine Italiener, das einzig Italienische in dieser Pizzeria ist der Limoncello. Heute verkauft halt auch jeder Dönerladen Pizza.

Wir hatten spontan Lust auf Pizza und sind ohne Reservierung hingegangen. Die Bedienung war nett und zuvorkommend. Die Getränke kamen schnell und das Essen war lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr lecker und angenehm. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Pizzas und Pinsas sind knusprig und der Teig ist so wie es sein soll. Die einzige Pizza oder Pinsa Variante, die mir persönlich fehlt ist die mit Büffelmozzarella, Mortadella und Pesto! Wenn es sie gibt, dann gibt es von mir 5 Sterne.

Der Service war sehr schnell und ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Vorspeisenplatte war insgesamt gut, lediglich die Pilze haben mich nicht ganz überzeugt, da sie offenbar aus dem Glas waren, frisch hätten sie geschmacklich besser gepasst. Auf der Pinsa hingegen waren frische Pilze, was man deutlich gemerkt hat. Die Pinsa war insgesamt sehr lecker und geschmacklich top. Die Pizza war solide und von der Größe her wirklich super. Auch der Salat war frisch und gut zubereitet. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Abend, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 😊

On a Friday shortly before Christmas, we went to La Piazza for dinner without a reservation. The restaurant was already full, as a large Christmas party was taking place and the staff was busy – but they didn't turn us away; instead, they set up a small table for us. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the food arrived quickly, both dishes were delicious, and the slightly higher price was entirely justified. We will definitely go back!

Don't expect any decent service here. The conditions demanded of guests are unacceptable: they have to get their own drinks, there's no cutlery available, and the wait times can be up to three hours!

Yesterday, we went there for our company Christmas party. After 40 minutes, I got my drink, but I still hadn't ordered any food. After 60 minutes, 38 people got up and left. That's 38 times about €50 per person, which is almost €2000 less in revenue, and 38 people who will never come back. It's a shame, I really liked going there because the pizzas are fantastic and I generally appreciated the good service. But last night was a complete disaster, sorry.

All the food was served lukewarm on cold plates. Even the lasagna was almost cold; perhaps it was just microwaved for too short a time?! The children were very disappointed; there was no pizza that evening, and other guests also expressed their displeasure. The seating was uncomfortable, located right by the entrance. Never again.

We've been there several times because it's a cozy atmosphere with good food and friendly staff… but unfortunately, it seems profit now takes precedence over quality. The restaurant has been expanded with a side room that has the atmosphere of a train station waiting room. Loud, uncomfortable, with LED lights in the ceiling. The staff tried their best but were clearly overwhelmed. If they're booking Christmas parties, perhaps they shouldn't try to squeeze every last penny out of the restaurant in an uninviting, hairdresser-style space. That was sadly the last time. 😟

The extension was awful yesterday. Uncomfortable, noisy, and very brightly lit. No decorations on the tables, and far too many tables crammed inside. The atmosphere was like a soup kitchen. Although I had reserved a table in the main restaurant, I was forced to sit in a room facing a wall and a storage area. In contrast, the main restaurant and the conservatory are very cozy and atmospheric—simply perfect. I hope they can make the adjoining room a bit more inviting.

Great food! I do have one disappointment… Ms. Meruna shouldn't reprimand guests who are invited for limoncello! And especially not with such rude tone and choice of words, as if they were worthless or subservient to her! It was the case on October 16, 2025, and today, October 26, 2025! Absolutely unacceptable! No words! The renewed escalation of your statements was the death knell for today. Ms. Meruna! Learn respect and politeness. You can still learn a lot from your colleagues!!!!!!

The food was very tasty, but the service seemed a bit stressed.

We were at La Piazza in the evening and ordered a salad and lasagna. Bread was offered with the salad, but then forgotten, and the lasagna, while tasty, was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. If it had been my first visit, I wouldn't go back, but since I've been there before and the pinsa and pizza were delicious, that's my conclusion. I can eat reheated lasagna at home, so I won't order it there anymore.

It's a shame you can't photograph good taste! Incredibly good food, whether pizza, fish, or salad. Everything was very fresh, generous portions, and incredibly delicious. Even though it was busy, someone (special shout-out to Tristan) always came by to ask if everything was okay. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lovely ambiance (although I did miss the Italian music). The restrooms were also very stylish and clean. My absolute recommendation! We'll definitely be back.

The ambiance is good, the service attentive. Unfortunately, the tortellini alla panna was overcooked. The vitello tonnato was OK. The bread would have been great with it, and the spaghetti aglio olio was superb. The soup was also good. I'd go back.

Unfortunately, this is getting a bit long-winded... We're from the area and wanted to go out for pizza in the evening. We had made a reservation by phone, but when we arrived, they couldn't find our name, but we were seated. The waiter came, friendly, and everything was fine. After a short while, our drinks were taken, and then we were served. We waited quite a while for a bottle of water (filled bottle) and a beer. Then our order was taken. Pizza, just pizza, nothing else. We waited and waited. It took an hour to get our food, which was a no-go. After asking several times, we were always assured it would arrive right away. Hmm... it wasn't that great (so much for the taste). Now, a list of negative points: -Poor management, which the customer sees, because everyone is running around, it seems like one waiter takes care of everything, and the rest are just temporary staff serving. -Families with children waiting like everyone else... a no-go. -Excuses for why it's taking so long, like a death in the family or illness, don't interest anyone, especially if you don't know the staff. Vacation time isn't an excuse either, just bad management! -Manager struts around like a rooster instead of lending a hand when things get hectic. And he nudges everyone around, acting like a buddy. Absolutely unacceptable!!! -Small children (2) were allowed to go to the waiting counter with their shoes on to watch how pizza was made (the ingredients are behind it!!!) Hygiene? All in all, NOT a pleasant evening. It was very busy, but not pleasant. Every guest around us was complaining about the food taking so long. They also have a shortened summer menu...what do they do when the regular menu is available? A pizza takes about 4 minutes in the oven, with toppings and everything else, maybe 10 minutes, but an hour or more?

Depending on where you sit, you can watch the pizza chef at work, which is an aesthetic delight, as he spreads the red sauce spirally, like a mandala, on the round dough. The Hawaiian pizza is relatively inexpensive and, by all standards, tasty; the dough is thin. The salmon and spinach pizza wasn't as good; the spinach was watery. We were there on a holiday, and the pizzas were made very quickly.

On Valentine's Day I went to this great restaurant with a friend. To our surprise, the store was packed - unfortunately we hadn't made a reservation. After waiting for a while, an idea came to me: I picked up my cell phone, pretended to be on the phone, and said loudly: "Hey girlfriend, I think I just see your husband with another woman at the restaurant!" At that moment three men jumped up and ran away quickly. And voilà – we had a table faster than we could have imagined! A great place, highly recommended! However, it is always busy, so it is worth making an early reservation.

Very tasty pizza and pasta. Have been here several times or taken pizza to go, especially during the Corona closures. When the weather is good, we like to sit in front of the restaurant. There is a large parking lot adjacent. The specialty is the Salmenbräu light and dark on tap, brewed exclusively for the restaurant by Hoepfner, both delicious!

My friend was eating there with her family and was hit on by a young waiter who was also very cheeky. Hopefully the waiter will be taught some decency :)

The pizza is of course great but so are all the other dishes I've eaten there. **UPDATE** it's even better than before! Even with all the inflation globally, it is still a great price for the quality and portions you get. Have been coming every year when I'm in Germany.

I came around 7pm on a Sunday and went in right away without a reservation. There were a lot of people and there were a lot of orders so our food came out late. However, I liked it because the pizza and pasta were so delicious. The beer is delicious too😄

Very nicely decorated, attentive and friendly service, sometimes a bit overwhelmed. Unfortunately it's very loud, but it's also very busy. Pizzas very tasty, pasta rather bland. Unfortunately, the meat dishes that are missing are the typically Italian ones, such as Involtini or Saltimboca. Because of SchniPoSa I haven't been to an Italian restaurant and when I read "Spaghetti Carbonara in cream sauce" I know that the owner isn't Italian either. But please don't mean that in a derogatory way

The Piazza restaurant in Gernsbach is a real insider tip! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish at the same time, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed by the fresh and high-quality preparation of the food - every meal was a pleasure! The Italian dishes are presented with great attention to detail and taste absolutely authentic. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. I can fully recommend the Piazza and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Very nice staff and delicious food

It was our first time at Piazza and overall we were satisfied. Ordering the drinks was a bit chaotic as the wrong drinks came to the table three times. But it wasn't too bad, the right thing came later. Overall, the food was really good and the price was definitely right. It was very crowded and relatively loud. Otherwise the service was friendly and attentive.

We're usually here a lot, but it's getting worse from time to time. Eating DSD is delicious, no question about it. However, waiting 2 hours for food, seeing people come an hour after you and get the food first and you almost starve, I find it really annoying. The wait staff is doing their best, but there are too few of them and they are just running and doing. We had to wait a very long time last time, even though we were right in front of our noses. But this was the last straw. Only after asking 4 times where the food was and saying that you were really hungry did it still not be our food that came, but everyone else's food outside... We then spoke to the boss straight away after we were ignored for 20 minutes after dinner and actually wanted coffee and dessert to somehow save the evening. The boss also gave us coffee on the house and dessert as an apology. Still, it was disappointing in all respects.

Reserved a table around 5 p.m. to place the order. Ordered food 2 hours ago!! After 2 hours there was still no food and the neighboring table that came after us had already received the food. Something like that is absolutely not possible!! And when you finally get the food after 21/2 hours (7:30 p.m.) but not everyone (group of 12 people) and the whole thing is put off with the fact that it has been lost. No words for this!!!

What can I say...you definitely shouldn't come here very hungry and short on patience. First it took a while for the order to even be taken and then we had to wait 2 hours (!!!) for the food to be brought to the table. To top it all off, a meal was forgotten, which meant another wait. Conclusion of the evening...luckily there are other restaurants!

Very nicely decorated restaurant. Very high quality equipment. The food was super tasty and everything was just right. Great price performance.
